Organoleptic testing is a test that is based on sensing process. Sensing can also mean mental reactions (sensation) if the senses receive stimuli (stimulus). Reaction or impression that is caused due to the stimulation may be an attitude to toward or away from, liking or disliking objects will cause stimulation.Formulation of the problem in this research is how the acceptance and preference level of primary school students towards some kind of breakfast menu using local food in North Sulawesi in order to fulfill nutritional needs.The general objective of this study is to make local food in North Sulawesi as a basic ingredient in making a breakfast menu with a variety favored by children in order to fulfill the nutritional needs of elementary school. The benefits of this research provide understanding to the community in particular who have children of primary school age that the fulfillment of nutrients on elementary school children is not always synonymous with foodstuffs are expensive, must be imported, instant, branded, but the quality and nutritional content is not very relevant to the needs child nutrition. This type of research is quasy Experiment was conducted in a laboratory study Culinary Nutrition Poltekkes Kemenkes Manado and Elementary School 06, which is located in Manado City. Collecting data in this study is the result of tests performed on the organoleptic properties, which consist of preference for appearance, flavor, texture, color and aroma.Hedonic data processing using Kruskal Wallis test showed no significant difference from the third menu tested. Conclusion statistically no significant difference between the three breakfast menu with a conventional menu, but based on the average value of the hedonic score differences.

The World Health Organization (WHO) notes that the world's population suffering from hypertension is among those in low- and middle-income developing countries. Indonesia is in a row of 10 countries with the highest prevalence of hypertension in the world. This study aims to determine the level of nutritional knowledge, consumption of fruits and vegetables, and nutritional status of hypertensive patients in the work area of Ranomuut Puskesmas Manado. The type of this research is analytical descriptive with crossectional design. With an average rating of 125 people / month. The samples taken were 42 patients with hypertension. The instrument used in this study is a nutritional knowledge questionnaire, Form Spring Food Frequency Questioner (FFQ). Digital tension meter, scales and Mikrotoa. Data analysis using Fisher Exact Test to know relation of independent and bound variable. The results of this study indicate that there are 14.2% of people with good nutritional knowledge and 42.9% moderate knowledge level and 42.9% less nutritional knowledge level. And there are 52.4% of people who consume good fruit and most there is 61.9% of people less vegetable consumption. And most hypertensive patients have obesity nutritional status. There was no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge level and nutritional status (p = 0.115). There was a significant relationship between vegetable consumption and nutritional status (p = 0.039). There was a significant relationship between fruit consumption and nutritional status (p = 0.049).

Gout or gout is a chronic arthritis caused by swelling and usually attacks the big toe. Factors causing gout arthrits are excessive uric acid products, obesity, diabetes accompanied by high blood pressure, excessive protein consumption, sex, and alcohol. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between purine intake and uric acid levels in patients with gout arthritis in the Ranotana Weru Public Health Center. The method used in this study uses a cross sectional design on a total of 44 samples. The sample criteria are patients with symptoms of gout arthritis and can communicate well. Research sites in the Ranotana Weru Public Health Center in Manado in 2018. Data on age, sex, and occupation can be obtained through interviews using the informed consent form. Purine intake data can be obtained through interviews with the Semi Food Frequency Questinary (FFQ). Gout criteria are divided into two, namely normal and high bivariate data analysis using the chi square test. The results of research on patients with high uric acid levels are 73% and 27% normal, asupa purin more 68%, 21% enough and less 11%. The conclusion from this study is that there is a chi square test relationship showing that intake of purines has a significant relationship between uric acid levels with a value of p = 0,000 (p = 0.05).

Obest or obesity is the term used to show the accumulation of body fat that exceeds the normal limit. Excessive accumulation of body fat can often seem reluctant easily. People who are overweight are more receptive than normal weight people to external hunger cues, such as food taste and smell, or time to eat. Fat people tend to eat if they feel like eating, not eating when they are hungry. The type of research used was analytic observational research with cross sectional design. The population in this study were all students at Tomohon Christian High School 1 which was 1063 students. The sample was calculated in Slovak with a total of 43 students. Primary data is data about diet and the level of nutritional knowledge collected directly during the research. In this study most have a moderate level of knowledge with a total of 20 people (46.5%), a good level of knowledge of 20 people (32.6%), and less knowledge level of 9 people (20.9%).The results of the analysis using statistical test fisherexacttest with a value of p <0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between intake of levels of nutritional knowledge with obesity.

Backround. The organization of food especially in hospitals must be optimal, in accordance with the quality of health service standard and patient disease indication. The cause of misbehavior regarding hygiene and sanitation is due to low knowledge or ignorance of things that food handlers should be aware of in order to obtain healthy food. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of knowledge and behavior of food safety implementation of food handler on food processing before and after intervention in hospital in Bolaang Mongondow Raya. Method.The type of research used is Quasi Eksperimen with pretest and posttest design. The research subjects were taken by total sampling totaling 31 people. The study was conducted from July to September 2017 at Bolaang Mongondow Raya Hospital. The knowledge data was collected using questionnaires and behavior data using the check list form. The statistical test used was T-test, at 95% confidence level and significance limit of p <0,05. Result. The results showed that the average value of knowledge before the intervention was 70.53. Knowledge achievements after the intervention averaged 84.73. The magnitude of the increase in the value of knowledge is 14.2. The average value of the behavior before the intervention is 80.32. The average value after the intervention was 89.68. The magnitude of the increase in the value of behavior is 9.36. Conclusions. There are differences in knowledge of food handlers before and after the intervention. There are differences in the behavior of food handlers before and after the intervention.

Appropriate supplementary food breast milk should start at 6 months of age, but the reality in many infants under 6 months has been given food. According to data Riskesdas 2013, North Sulawesi Province of malnourished status of 3.7% (National 5.7%) and nutritional status less 12.8% (National 13.9%). Results of Nutrition Status Monitoring (2015) North Sulawesi Province, nutrition sufferer less 10.6%, for stunting case with very short category North Sulawesi Province 6.3%, and short category 15.%. The purpose of this research is to know mother knowledge and nutritional status of children under two yearsbefore and after getting training of local food-based supplementary food breast milk in South Minahasa Regency.The research type is quasi experiment with pre and post design control group design. This study was conducted in the area of Puskesmas district South Minahasa in June to September 2017. The population in this study were all mothers with children aged 12 to 24 months. Total sample amounted to 70 samples consisted of treatment group 35 samples and control group 35 samples and how to determine the sample size by Simple random sampling. Bivariate analysis used different test of two groups in pairs and inter-group different test. Result of research and conclusion: There is significant difference of knowledge of Baduta mother before and after training of local food-based supplementary food breast milk. There was no significant difference in nutritional status of Baduta children before and after local food-based supplementary food breast milk.

Diabetes Mellitus is a group of chronic disease which is characterized by increased levels of glucose in the blood due to disorders of the body's metabolism system, in which the pancreas organ incapable of producing the hormone insulin according to needs of the body. Nutritional counselling with quality local food based diit can help control blood glucose levels. This research aims to identify the difference in blood glucose levels and the value of quality diit type II diabetes mellitus patients before and after given nutritional counseling with quality local food based diit. This type of research is Pre Experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design. The number of samples is determined by purposive sampling counted 31 people. Data analysis using Wilcoxon and T-test analysis. The Wilcoxon analysis with significance level of 95% can be seen to produce significant difference in pre-post glycemic index component with p=0,000 (p<0,05) and diversity of pre-post food with p=0,002 (p<0,05). In the result of T-test for pre-post blood glucose variable, there was no significant difference p=0,105 (p>0,05). However, there was a range of decreased glucose levels before and after in 22 respondents with an average decrease of 11.42 mg/dL. Conclusion there was no difference of blood glucose level before and after nutrition counseling with quality of diet based on local food.

Hypercholesterolemia is an increase in total cholesterol levels in the blood beyond the normal limits. Excess cholesterol levels in the blood will have an impact on degenerative diseases. Brown rice (oryza nivara) is a rice rich in vitamins, minerals and contain water soluble fiber that can help bind cholesterol, then throw it out of the body. Regular consumption of brown rice is very beneficial for health that can reduce levels of LDL. The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of brown rice rice to total cholesterol level in hypercholesterolemia patient in Vilage Sea Pineleng District of Minahasa Regency. The type of this research is Quasi Eksperimen with One Group of Pretest and Posttest Design. The sample in this study is the entire population of hypercholesterolemia patients recorded in Posbindu Village Sea Pineleng District Minahasa regency that meets the inclusion criteria. Rice brown rice is given for 8 consecutive days every morning, day and night. Total cholesterol levels were measured before and after administration of brown rice. Data analysis using Paired t-test. The results showed that the total cholesterol level before the study was the highest of 360 mg / dl, the lowest was 216 mg / dl, and after the highest total cholesterol was 298 mg / dl, the lowest was 164 mg / dl. The result of statistical test shows that p = 0,019 (p <0,05), which means that there is difference of total cholesterol before and after giving of rice of red rice to hypercholesterolemia patient in Vilage Sea Pineleng Sub-district of Minahasa Regency.

Nutrition is an important part of growth and development, because there is a connection and is related to health and intelligence, malnutrition. Stunting is a linear growth disorder that can affect the increased risk of illness, death, and impaired late motor development, and stunted mental growth. The type of this research is analytic observational with cross sectional study approach. The population in this study were all children under five in the work area of Kawangkoan Health Center in Minahasa Regency. Children under five 2-5 years. The respondent is mother. The number of samples of this study amounted to 41 people with a sampling technique that is using simple random sampling technique. The results of research on the level of maternal knowledge of 41 respondents were 39.0% who lacked knowledge, and 41.5% had sufficient knowledge, while 19.5% had good knowledge. the rate of exclusive breastfeeding is 41.5% which is less than exclusive breastfeeding, while 39.0% is good, 19.5% is enough to provide exclusive breastfeeding. Toddler respondents who have normal height category are 46%, and category is very short, 31.7%, while the short category is 22.0%. kawangkoan health center.

Feeding intake is all types of food and beverages consumed by the human body food is also one of the very basic human needs because it affects the existence and survival of human today. This study aims to determine the effect of nutritional counseling on the intake of eating obese adolescents and to know the intake of food before and after counseling in SMP Kristen Woloan Tomohon.This type of research is a type of pre-experimental study with a pre-test design of one gramoup design. The number of samples used in this study were 20 respondents. Feed intake data was taken by first measuring the treatment in the study gramoup (pre-test) with a 24-hour recall method carried out 3 days, and providing nutritional counseling, and measured again after being given nutritional counseling treatment (post test) with a 3-day recall method . Data analysis using wilcoxon analysis From the results showed that energy intake, protein intake, fat intake, and carbohydrate intake experienced penuruna after being given counseling. Based on the results of statistical analysis using wilcoxon test ρ =0.000 (<0.05) which means there is influence counseling on feeding intake of adolescent obesity. Conclusion There is the influence of nutritional counseling on the intake of eating obese adolescents
