Abstract

Every celebration (hajatan) is related to the contribution custom or bhuwuh, especially the tradition in society of Taropan community in conducting routine Bhuwuhan. Bhuwuhan tradition is based on the Adep Asor value which is an attitude to honor the older relatives and the elder figures (Warok) during celebration. There is an agreement in Taropan community that is built by the Warok and the members to contribute and return the bhuwuhan during the celebration. This tradition is much conducted by the society in Pesawahan, Pedagangan and Tegalwatu villages. Therefore, the objectives of this research are to explain the routine bhuwuhan process that can be a tradition in Taropan community and analyze the social practices of Warok through the capital power-owned in order to preserve the bhuwuhan tradition in Taropan community. The research uses qualitative method by using case study approach through observation, interview and documentation. The research uses social practice theory of Pierre Bourdieu with structure analysis and agent through habitus discourse, arena and capital as the capacity of the actors. 1This custom is based on a strong kinship system and adep asor value between the members and the Warok by contributing and returning more bhuwuhan which are as a binder (investment) to make the kinship keep preserved. Moreover, social practices of the Warok to the members through the cultural, economic, social and symbolic capitals are determining the dominant position of the Warok in preserving the bhuwuhan tradition in Taropan community.

Abstract

The majority of people living with HIV/AIDS are in six districts: Gondanglegi, Dampit, Sumberpucung, Sumbermanjing Wetan, Kepanjen and Turen (WHO, 2016). People living with HIV/AIDS have an anxiety in their mind, fearless, and increase imun. Anxiety is a form of unpleasant emotion, characterized by terms like concerns, concerns, and fears that are sometimes experienced in different levels. Resercher use Beck Anxiety Inventory to masure their apprehention in their self. One way to overcome anxiety is by doing therapy or counseling. Therapy or counseling is a process of providing information through systematic interpersonal communication. In this resech, interpersonal communication is family communication (FACE IV) and therapeutic communication (Tcomm-skill GP). There are 3 formulation of the problems, Is there any  corelation of family communication as support system to the anxiety?  Is there any therapeutic communication relationship between patient (ODHA) therapist to handle the anxiety of ODHA? Is there a common role to reduce anxiety?. The purpose of this study is to know the correlation of the role of family communication to anxiety, to know the correlation of therapeutic communication role to anxiety and to know the role of together to anxiety.  Researcher using kuantitatif simple regresion to see how corelation they are.

Abstract

The problem of poverty is a crucial issue in Indonesia; one of the issues is in Bantaya village, Parigi Sub-district, Parigi Moutong Regency. Therefore, it needs the poverty alleviation program, in this case Integrated Poverty Alleviation Program-Village-based Surgery (PTPK-BBK). The type of research is a qualitative descriptive, in which data collection is conducted by interviews with the key informants and data analysis is conducted via triangulation. The research results are: (1) the implementation of PTPK-BBK program in Bantaya village has been done in accordance with the procedure. Nevertheless, the PTPK-BBK program gives less significant impact on the life of fishermen. It is due to lack of post-implementation of evaluation and monitoring program; (2) the supporting factor of PTPK-BBK is the facilitators who carry out their duties maximally, meanwhile the inhibiting factor is coming from the community itself or within the program such as the natural disaster, middlemen, and low evaluation system.

Abstract

The patriarchate pattern in the rural society limits the right and obligaten among women to contribute in rural development through musrenbangdes. The main problem of the research is how is women participation in rural development through  musrenbangdes?  The aim of this research is to analyze the positions, ferms, and factors that influence the women participation. This is a qualitative research, using PRA Robert Chambers approachment, snowballing sampling technigue,  primary data collecting technigue through;  observation, interview, FGD. And secundary data collecting through;  documents, data validity  examination technique, source based triangulation, and data management technique; Miles and Huberman interactive analysis. Results; 1) Contribution position in administrative and consumption field, 2) Direct contribution in programme planning and programme accomplishment, indirect contribution as a participator and moral supporting, 3) Supporting factors; women awareness, socialization and invitation, chance to be part of stakeholder, male support. As the carrier factors;  unsuitable schedule of the musrenbangdes for the women, the women multiple roles, lack of socialization and invitation, low level of education. Summary, the inferior position and women minimun contribution due to some internal and external factors from the women side themselves. As consideration, it is necessary for the rural government to increase the socialization, the awareness of the female , increasing male support,  and the importance of women rural leader.

Abstract

Definisi dan konsep kemiskinan memiliki banyak versi dan pandangan, karena tidak merujuk pada suatu kondisi yang baku dan tetap. Pengertian yang berbeda tersebut diperoleh dari perbedaan dasar pemikiran dan pandangan masing-masing orang, serta berkembang sesuai perubahan sosial. Kemiskinan perlu dikaji melalui berbagai aspek dan perspektif, selain dari para praktisi dan pengambil kebijakan (top-down perspectives), kemiskinan perlu dikaji pula secara subjektif oleh mereka yang langsung mengalami kemiskinan (bottom-up perspectives) karena hanya mereka yang tahu pasti tentang sebenarnya kemiskinan itu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena kemiskinan dari perspektif Kepala Rumah Tangga Perempuan (KRTP) miskin, yaitu untuk mengetahui: makna dan penyebab, serta strategi feminisasi kemiskinan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Informasi dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam serta observasi. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data fenomenologi Van Kaam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna, penyebab, serta startegi kemiskinan dimaknai dengan bervariasi oleh KRTP miskin sesuai keadaan yang dialami. Kemiskinan dimaknai sebagai “keadaan yang berbeda dari yang lain/ keadaan tidak semestinya”. selain itu, secara simbolik kemiskinan juga dimaknai sebagai “ketidak-pemilikan aset berupa sawah”. Kedua makna tersebut merupakan persepsi yang muncul dari pengalaman hidup dan hasil interaksi sosial yang selama ini dilakukan. Faktor penyebab kemiskinan yang dialami KRTP miskin sangat komplek, meliputi faktor ekonomi, sosial/kultural, struktural, sumberdaya alam dan sumberdaya manusia, namun penyebab utama berdasarkan persepsi mereka yaitu berkaitan dengan takdir. Strategi feminisasi kemiskinan yang dilakukan oleh KRTP miskin hanya pada lingkup bertahan dengan kondisi kemiskinan yang dialami.

Abstract

There are many studies on Islamic Boarding School, but the study which associating with Islamic boarding school as socialization agent of ecological values is still rare. This study aims to examine the understanding and concepts about the environment in Islamic Boarding School and the process of learning about religious values in the environment, but also want to know the implementation of the learning. Data collection was done first in-depth interviews to the Islamic Boarding School manager and the two primary data from the students (male and female). The study found that: First, most students perceived the concept of the environment and agreed to cleanliness association as part of faith. Secondly, a small percentage of male or female students are resistant to the environmental concept and their studies are inseparable from the existence of patriarchal culture carried on the contextual conditions that enclosed it, therefor the way of thinking, behaving is much influenced by the conditions in where they live. Third, the learning process associated with keeping the environment socialized through some yellow book recitation, outing class, artworks contest related to environmental hygiene and learning comfort, voluntary work. Fourth, most students agree to work once a week and agree on the existence of punishment if not participate in voluntary work. Fifth, actions by students associated with violations (cleanliness work), most of them proposed a fine or punishment.Keywords: Ecology, Islamic Boarding School, Punishment, Socialization

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of auditor competence, independence of internal audit organization, relationship between internal and external auditors, management support to the effectiveness of internal audit, and the effect of internal audit effectiveness on the corruption in Inspectorate General of Ministry of Religious Affairs RI involving 152 respondents. The analysis method employed PLS (Partial Least Square) by utilizing SmartPLS 2.0 software. The result of the research shows that there is positive influence of the auditor competence, independence of internal audit organization, relationship between the internal and external auditors, and management support to the effectiveness of internal audit. This study proves that the effectiveness of internal audit tends to decrease corruption. In addition, this study also supports the Inspectorate General of Ministry of Religious Affairs as part of the governance of Kemenag organizations can help fight corruption.

Abstract

Subang Regency has an important role as the rice supplier area. As one of the rice production centers in Indonesia, rice farmers address rice fields as an asset or resource. As an asset, farmers conduct rice farming activities in the rice fields with economical orientation and rely on their food source mainly from the rice production. Conversions of paddy fields have changed the socioeconomic balancing amongst the farmers. They responded to the changes by adapting to new conditions, thus farmers’ post-conversion responses are an interesting aspect to study. This research aimed to understand the rice farmers adaptations, which was involved 15 key informants using in-dept interviews and purposive sampling method of 164 respondents. The analysis of the interview results used the concept of adaptation based on objectives, timing, and then strengthened with relevant documents for the study area. This study found, that: 1) farmers tried to make adjustments in using the compensation funds, livelihood, professions, farming, and household needs; 2) farmers’ adaptation are their way to earn the income and maintain their livelihood, and 3) some farmers firmly stated that their adaptations have made newly more prosperous conditions for them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran pendamping program  pemberdayaan masyarakat  melalui pendampingan keluarga balita gizi buruk di Kecamatan Semampir – Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini penting untuk dikaji agar dapat memberikan manfaat baik akademis maupun praktis mengenai praktek sosial anatara agen dan struktur ; dan peran pendamping dalam program pemberdayaan keluarga balita gizi buruk . Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Strukturasi Anthony Giddens. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Praktek Sosial yang dilakukan oleh pendamping sebagai bagian dari struktur sudah mulai merubah pola pengasuhan ibu pada balitanya meskipun secara perlahan-lahan. Namun memang ada beberapa keluarga dampingan yang belum bisa merubah pola pengasuhan anak karena memang butuh waktu untuk bisa merubah perilaku seseorang. Fungsi pendamping dalam memberdayakan keluarga balita gizi buruk ini yang paling bisa dirasakan manfaatnya oleh keluarga dampingan adalah fungsi penguatan. Untuk itu diperlukan kerjasama dan keterlibatan dari semua pihak dalam program ini.

Abstract

Penataan ruang yang berjalan selama ini bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah untuk dilaksanakan karena dalam penyusunan rencana tata ruang, prinsip keterbukaan, partisipasi, daya tanggap akuntabilitas, dan penegakan aturan hukum terhadap masyarakat masih rendah. Masyarakat belum ditempatkan pada posisi yang kuat dan partisipatif, sebagaimana yang diamanatkan UU No. 26 Tahun 2007 tentang Penataan Ruang pada Bab VIII pasal 65.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan sejauh mana prinsip good governance yang terdiri dari transparansi, partisipasi, daya tanggap, akuntabilitas, dan aturan hukum terhadap penyusunan rencana tata ruang wilayah (RTRW) di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan survei, dengan maksud penjelasan (ekspalanatory research). Data kuesioner yang diperoleh dari responden dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (serentak) variabel transparansi, partisipasi, daya tanggap, akuntabilitas dan aturan hukum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyusunan rencana tata ruang wilayah (RTRW) Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dengan tingkat pengaruh kuat, dan kontribusi variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat sebesar 83,3%. Akan tetapi secara parsial (masing-masing variabel) ditemukan bahwa tidak semua variabel bebas berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikat, dimana variabel transparansi, partisipasi dan aturan hukum berpengaruh, sedangkan variabel daya tanggap dan akuntabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikat.
