Abstract

In this era heavily influenced by the development of communication and information technology, every child must have the right to access other materials from various sources. Unfortunately, information and communication technology development is not free from its negative impact on children. The online realm has revealed information that is inappropriate and negative for children, even creating forms of interaction on various social media that lead to violence or bullying, and even trigger sexual violence. Cases of child sexual exploitation and violence in the realm of courage certainly require the attention of all parties around the child, such as parents, teachers, community leaders, legal officials, and so on. In this context, service providers have an essential role in preventing and handling cases of sexual violence in the realm of violence that has already occurred, so that the negative impacts on children do not persist and can be resolved immediately. This article discusses the role of service providers in protecting child victims of sexual violence in the realm of courage, as well as efforts to develop the capacity of service officers in safeguarding child victims. Abstract

Brand betrayal is a critical issue that significantly influences consumer responses, often leading to negative behaviors such as brand avoidance, brand switching, brand retaliation, and brand complaints. This study explores the development of literature on brand betrayal and its impact on consumer responses while identifying future research directions and practical strategies for managing these effects. A systematic literature review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol was conducted, analyzing research from the Scopus database. The data were synthesized through the Theories, Contexts, Methods (TCM), and Antecedents, Decisions, and Outcomes (ADO) frameworks to provide a structured and comprehensive review. The findings reveal that brand betrayal elicits both active responses (retaliation and complaints) and passive responses (avoidance and switching), with emotional attachment playing a key role in shaping consumer reactions. Consumers with stronger emotional bonds to a brand may experience more intense feelings of betrayal, leading to confrontation or silent withdrawal. The study highlights gaps in the current literature, particularly the need for cross-cultural research, longitudinal studies, and deeper exploration of psychological factors influencing consumer behavior post-betrayal. The study concludes that managing brand betrayal requires proactive strategies, including transparent communication, personalized compensation plans, and swift conflict resolution processes. Additionally, understanding the emotional and cognitive processes behind consumer responses is crucial for brands seeking to restore trust, minimize reputational damage, and maintain strong long-term relationships. This research offers key insights for scholars and practitioners, providing guidance on mitigating brand betrayal, fostering long-term brand resilience, and developing adaptive strategies to prevent future occurrences. Abstract

This study uses Rogers' diffusion of innovation theory perspective to examine the Malang City Social Welfare Data Collection (PDKTSAM) innovation's routinization process. The Social Welfare Data Collection aims to identify, classify, and map the welfare conditions of the community to ensure that social assistance and other government programs are on target. The study results indicate that PDKTSAM has become part of the organization's routine activities through the establishment of SOPs, integration with other systems, and ongoing data evaluation and updating mechanisms. Active participation of various stakeholders, policy support, and system modification and adjustment are key factors in ensuring the sustainability of PDKTSAM utilization. However, this study also identified major challenges in the routinization phase, such as data synchronization, updating, and cross-agency coordination. Limited human resources and technological infrastructure are also recognized as obstacles to implementation. Therefore, a holistic and adaptive strategy is needed to overcome these obstacles and ensure the sustainability of PDKTSAM innovation in the long term. With accurate and up-to-date data, the government can design effective policies, reduce poverty, and improve the quality of life of the community as a whole. This data collection also forms the basis for more objective and transparent decision-making in efforts to develop social welfare. Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health issue in Indonesia, including in Malang City. Despite various strategies, the disease poses significant challenges due to social, economic, and environmental factors. This study aims to evaluate the role of Community Health Center (Puskesmas) policies in TB management and prevention efforts in Malang City while identifying factors that influence program success. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), SWOT analysis, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with TB patients, health workers, and the community, while secondary data were obtained from local health office reports. The findings revealed that implementing Puskesmas policies has generally been effective, particularly regarding mandatory reporting, active case finding, and free TB treatment. However, several barriers persist, including inconsistent treatment adherence, stigma surrounding TB, inadequate living conditions, and limited healthcare access in certain areas. SEM analysis identified key factors affecting TB control success: patient knowledge, environmental conditions, treatment experience, and the role of health workers. SWOT analysis highlighted strengths such as strong community engagement and policy frameworks, alongside weaknesses like insufficient environmental interventions and healthcare resource limitations. Optimization strategies proposed include enhancing public education on TB prevention, improving the home environment to support recovery, strengthening health worker capacity, integrating digital technologies, and fostering multi-sector collaboration. The study emphasizes the need to address biomedical and socio-environmental determinants for effective TB control. These findings provide strategic recommendations for enhancing Puskesmas policy implementation toward Indonesia’s 2030 TB elimination goals. Abstract

As the restaurant industry in Indonesia experiences rapid growth, consumer expectations for dining experiences are evolving. Diners are increasingly prioritizing authenticity, fair pricing, and high-quality food, all of which play crucial roles in enhancing satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits. This study examines the impact of authenticity, price fairness, and food quality on customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions. An explanatory research approach was employed, utilizing quantitative methods. The study was conducted at Griya Arayanna Restaurant, which features a Javanese-themed dining experience. The target population comprised visitors who had dined there at least once. Based on the Roscoe formula for sample selection, 150 participants were selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using SEM PLS techniques. The findings indicate that authenticity, price fairness, and food quality have a significant impact on customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions. Moreover, satisfaction itself has a notable effect on behavioral intentions. At the same time, the factors of authenticity, price fairness, and food quality also exert an indirect influence on behavioral intentions through their impact on satisfaction. These insights suggest that restaurants should integrate cultural narratives into their promotional efforts, offering menu prices that appeal to a diverse customer base, and consistently uphold high food quality. Such strategies can enhance customer satisfaction, increase return visits, and lead to recommendations from others. Keywords: authenticity, behavioral intentions, food quality, price fairness, satisfaction

Abstract

This research examines the impact of financial inclusion on household poverty status in East Java Province by analyzing microdata from the 2023 National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS), with the household as the unit of analysis. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the extent to which access to and use of formal financial services can reduce the likelihood of households experiencing poverty. To address potential endogeneity in the financial inclusion variable, the Two-Stage Residual Inclusion (2SRI) method is used, with ownership of fixed assets such as land or houses (real estate) as an instrumental variable to strengthen causal identification.  The results show that financial inclusion significantly reduces households' probability of poverty. Specifically, access to digital financial services reduces the risk of poverty by 10.9%, and bank account ownership by 6.4%, while access to credit without adequate financial literacy actually increases the risk of poverty by 24.7%. The model successfully passes various diagnostic tests, including endogeneity (p < 0.01) and instrument relevance (first-stage F-statistic > 10), which strengthens the validity of the estimation results. Furthermore, the Average Marginal Effect (AME) analysis supports these findings, showing that digital financial services have the most significant negative marginal effect on poverty risk (?0.109), followed by account ownership (?0.064). In contrast, access to credit has a positive marginal effect (+0.247), indicating that unproductive credit use can increase household vulnerability. These findings underscore the importance of expanding access to inclusive and responsible financial services, particularly in rural and underserved areas. Improving public financial literacy and addressing spatial inequality are key to maximizing the poverty-reducing impact of financial inclusion. The study's findings provide relevant, evidence-based policy insights for designing more targeted, equitable, and contextualized poverty alleviation strategies in Indonesia. Abstract

The issue of sustainable development is a major challenge in regional development planning, including in Malang City. This study aims to evaluate the impact of increasing human resource capacity on the effectiveness of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on integrating strategic planning and developing the competencies of civil servants through a Corporate University approach. Using a quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) analysis techniques, this study analyzes the relationships between variables from data collected through a survey of civil servants in the Malang City Government. The results indicate that HR capacity building significantly contributes to achieving SDG targets. Furthermore, strategic planning and implementing the Corporate University approach are mediating variables that strengthen this relationship. This study highlights the importance of transforming the civil servant training system from a classical model to a sustainable and adaptive strategic learning system. These findings have policy implications for local governments in designing more targeted competency development strategies relevant to organizational needs and aligned with sustainable development agendas.
