Abstract

Perseroan Terbatas Perkebunan Nusantara PTPN XII Bantaran administers an afdeeling (a Dutch post-colonial administrative area) focused on one specific business expansion, Agritourism Sirah Kencong. The agritourism area is an excellent destination where a tea plantation landscape stretches up to 55.28 Ha. This tourism object is located 1,179 meters above  sea level and is a hydrological footing area. The current research is aimed to: 1) analyze the capacity of the environmental carrying capacity of Agritourism Sirah Kencong; 2) analyze the correlation of environmental sustainability of Agritourism Sirah Kencong; 3) scrutinize the associations between environmental carrying capacity and environmental sustainability in Agritourism Sirah Kencong. Results uncovered that: physical carrying capacity (PCC) contributed to as many as 11,091 tourists per day; real carrying capacity (RCC) 220 per day; and effective carrying capacity (ECC) 174 per day. Following with the assessment, the carrying capacity of Agritourism Sirah Kencong showed similar carrying capacity levels, indicating PCC>RCC>ECC, which means that the board of administrators could still work on ameliorating the number of tourists until the stipulated score limit. However, the maximum number of tourists had ever reached a total of 5,027, which exceeded the limit number of real carrying capacity (RCC) and effective carrying capacity (ECC). In addition, the environmental sustainability of Agritourism Sirah Kencong was assessed based on several indicators, including cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability (CHSE), and obtained satisfactory recommendation from the certification audit team for CHSE of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (KEMENPAREKRAF). Furthermore, the research  revealed that environmental carrying capacity and sustainability were closely interlinked to ecotourism as it required the tourists’ support for the actualization of sustainable tourism. Abstract

Job satisfaction is important for workers, which can encourage them to work better. The factor that influences worker satisfaction is leadership because it can create good working relationships so that it will have an impact on performance. This study aims to analyze worker satisfaction with the foreman's leadership style in building construction work and determine what attributes need to be maintained and improved to achieve a good level of satisfaction for building construction workers. The method for analyzing worker satisfaction uses Importance Performance Analysis (IPA IPA) to determine worker satisfaction by measuring the importance and implementation level. The results showed that the respondent's conformity level was 87%, meaning the workers were satisfied with the foreman's leadership. The attributes that must be maintained to increase worker satisfaction are: (1) leaders always have good relations outside the work environment, (2) leaders are always careful in accepting and hiring workers, and (3) being consistent in what is said with what is done. The attributes that must be prioritized to increase worker satisfaction are (1) leaders always serve workers well in the work environment, (2) leaders can control themselves if there are problems and encourage positive development, (3) be consistent in what is said with what is done and (4) always paying attention to the gains and losses in work.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the form or type of dilemma experienced by fresh rose farmers in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was conducted in Gunungsari Village, Bumiaji Sub-District, Batu, the largest fresh flower cultivation center in East Java. This study used a qualitative research approach with a case study design to utilize James C. Scott’s theory of survival mechanisms in its analysis. The results showed that there were three types of dilemmas experienced by fresh flower farmers, namely (1) the dilemma of converting the type of work, (2) the dilemma of conversion of plant commodity types, and (3) the dilemma of the continuity of fresh flower farming. Although farmers essentially take action to minimize risk, as stated by Scott, there are differences in the causative factors because this study was conducted when a non-natural disaster of the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, which no one could predict when it would end. Keywords: dilemma, farmers, fresh flower farmers, survival mechanism, COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

This study is done to comprehend how cosplayers can integrate their personality with their chosen character. We have discovered a problem with cosplayers using a piece of popular culture to build their identities. Therefore, participatory observation and in-depth interviews were undertaken to solve the problem and learn more about the subject above. As secondary data, we checked the literature, conducted field observations, and interviewed informants for our primary data. Our research yielded information on several factors that influence cosplayers' behavior, the connection between cosplaying and character attraction, and other topics, benefits of cosplay, the need to conceal identity while becoming a cosplayer, the motivation behind concealing identity, the satisfaction of cosplay, the pandemic and its effect on cosplay events, and a comparison to the identification problems outside of Indonesia. The finding of this study shows that cosplayers participate in their hobbies to interact, unwind, and meet new people who share their interests. We concluded that cosplayers hide their identities because they don't want their cosplay activities to disrupt their regular lives. Abstract

The widespread distribution of non-consensual intimate content carried out by the increasing development of technology cannot be stopped. Komnas Perempuan recorded 281 cases of cybercrime out of 1,277 cases of gender-based violence reported in 2021, which experienced an increase in CATAHU Komnas Perempuan 2023, where there were 869 cases of cyberviolence out of 1,276 cases of gender-based violence. Technological developments can make it easier for someone to commit cyber crimes. On the other hand, this technological development influences the rapid dissemination of information, especially with the mass presence of influencers. Influencers are social media users who generally come from ordinary people who have succeeded in gathering large numbers of followers so they can monetize their influence. However, influencers also have dangerous risks, in which one of them is vulnerable to becoming a victim of NCII with how often they use social media to show their face, body, and even voice. Non-consensual dissemination of intimate images (NCII) is a cybercrime where the use of intimate or sexual content for threats. This research aims to analyze the resilience of female influencers who have experienced NCII threats. This research used the qualitative method. The data used interviews with influencers who have experienced NCII but choose to continue their career. The results show that the subject’s resilience came from external support from family and peers, revenge for the perpetrator, and religiosity. Legal action and official protection against the threat of NCII are necessary to prevent the increase in victims. Keywords: dynamics of resilience, cybercrime, female influencer, NCII
