Abstract

In planning and implementation, the public still lacks confidence in the implementation of a city program without slums. This study aims to determine the implementation of a city program without slums. The city program without slums will address slums by building form collaborative through increasing the role of local government and community participation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research uses a phenomenological approach. Data collection is obtained through direct observation of the object of research and in-depth interviews with relevant sources, namely the Spatial Planning and Settlement Service, which is the implementing elements of the Kotaku program led by the head of the Department, as well as partners and communities who are directly involved and feel. And the data analysis technique in this study uses the Mile and Huberman model which suggests that data analysis in qualitative research is carried out interactively and continuously and until it is complete so that the data is saturated. Activities in data analysis are data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Slumless City Program in Sinjai Regency, for the planning stage has not been carried out properly due to the low awareness of the community in attending meetings or deliberations and the lack of socialization carried out by the organizers, in the implementation stage of the KOTAKU program in Sinjai Regency can It is said to be going well because for three years the implementation of the development of the KOTAKU program was able to reduce the location of the slum to 22.59 Herkatar and community participation in the implementation activities was more enthusiastic in providing energy with direct participation compared to the planning stage.

Abstract

The economic development of a region, especially in the development of the tourism sector, cannot be separated from the development of its human resources. This study aims to see the employee recruitment system, employee performance, and employee education qualifications at hotels in the city of Parepare. 7 informants are leaders and/or employees who are taken from hotels who are deemed to be able to represent the whole hotel in Parepare City. This research is applied research with a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed descriptively. Observations were made at seven hotels as the object of research, one of which recruited employees openly, while the other six hotels did not. Of all employees in the seven hotels, only a small proportion have educational qualifications with a tourism background. There is one hotel that has employees with a tourism education background, but only at the level of vocational high school education, besides that employee performance is generally still low in almost all hotels, only one hotel which according to our observations is quite good in terms of hotel service standards. The results showed that the recruitment system has not been implemented openly, employee performance is still low and educational qualifications are not following the needs of the workforce in the hotel industry

Abstract

Green open space is one of the problems that must be considered and considered together at this time, where the condition of this area is increasingly displaced by urban areas. This study aims to analyze the management of green open space in Bone Regency with the hope that the results of the analysis can be a reference for revising the spatial plan that has been implemented but is not on target. The stages of the research method, starting from theoretical studies and empirical studies, preparation of proposals, testing the validity and reliability, data collection, analysis, and discussion. From a government perspective that sees green open space from the side to beautify urban spaces with various aesthetic touches in green open space settings. In-depth studies of environmental impacts and in-depth socio-cultural aspects carried out by the private sector have a more favorable effect on the development of green open spaces in Bone Regency. From the perspective of the community itself, who want green open space to be used for a variety of activities that can be carried out, for example by carrying out microeconomic development in areas that are built

Abstract

The government, through the ministry of education and culture, urges universities to monitor and assist students in learning from home. the type of research chosen is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Academic services during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai ran effectively according to the rules that had been set and were running according to the expected goals, this was seen from the service for student proposal examinations, the lecture process, and new student admissions

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determie the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on learning outcomes through critical thinking. This research is quasi experimental with posttest only control group design. Analysis of data using Two Way Anova. The result of this research shows that (1) There is a difference between students who are taught by using teaching model PBL and students who are not taught by using teaching model PBL. (2) There is a difference in learning outcomes between high critical thinking skills with low critical thinking skills. Abstract

Education is essentially an effort to facilitate students to be able to solve problems in life that they will face in the future. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the role of the village government in reducing the dropout rate in Pattongko Village, Sinjai Tengah District, Sinjai Regency, and the factors that cause school dropout. This research uses qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, decision making (verification). The results of this study state that the effectiveness of the role of the village government in suppressing the dropout rate in Pattongko Village, Sinjai Regency, related to its role as a motivator, facilitator, and mobilizer basically tends to be effective, this can be seen from the decrease in the dropout rate every year. this is due to the concern of the local government, especially the village government together with parents and the community. The factors causing dropping out of school in Pattongko Village in this study consisted of four factors, namely the Child itself, the Economic Condition, the distance between the house and the school which was far away, and the parents' lack of understanding of the importance of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the internal conditions (Strengths, Weaknesses) and external (Opportunities, Threats) of Cahaya Modern SMEs using SWOT, so it can be identified which strategies can be used for business development. The type of research used is kualitatif. The conclusion of this research is there are strength and weakness factors that influence the internal conditions of Cahaya Modern SMEs. Those are the workers that live nearby the business location and sales promotion that are still offline. The opportunities and threat factors that influence external conditions are fostered by the government and the existence of substitute products. Based on the calculation of IE Cahaya Modern SMEs matrix lies in quadrant II which means Grow and Build. There are alternative business development strategies obtained from data processing using QSPM. First is making alternative products using additional raw materials, incorporating technological sophistication in producing products, maintaining quality and showing excellence, adjusting consumer demand, optimizing marketing, being active in government activities, and utilizing technological advancements as an act of promotion. The main priority result of the analysis is to make alternative products using additional raw materials with a TAS of 5.62.

Abstract

Learning style is one of the factors supporting student achievement. Learning style is one of the factors that influence learning achievement that comes from within the individual. Children who do not understand their learning styles will find it difficult to master the material well and will affect their learning outcomes. This research was conducted in Sinjai Regency with the object of research being students with achievement, namely students who were ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their study groups. The purpose of this study was to map the learning styles of high school students in Sinjai Regency. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population is 240 outstanding students from 4 schools in Sinjai Regency. The sample is 62 people or 25 percent of the study population. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used in this study was a descriptive statistical analysis of the percentages used to examine the research variables, namely the learning styles and social relationships of outstanding students. The results of this study found the learning styles of high school achievement students in Sinjai Regency, namely the Converger learning style type as many as 35 students or 56.5 percent, the accommodator learning style type were 16 students or 25.8 percent, the assimilator learning type was 7 students or 11.3 percent and the type of learning diverger as many as 4 people or 6.5 percent of the 62 respondents who are outstanding students or are ranked 1-3 in the study group. From the research results, it appears that the type of learning style that dominates or excels the respondent is the convergent learning style, which is a quadrant combination of thinking and doing. Converger type people have good skills in problem-solving and decision making. Use logic in the face of problems and like hands-on practice. Take challenges as opportunities. The results of his observations were collected and then used as a theory

Abstract

Human resources are seen as a very important organizational asset because humans are human resources who are always needed in every organizational activity . This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to determine and analyze how the influence of work discipline and career development on employee productivity at the Department of Education and Culture of Wajo Regency . The independent variable in this research is career development while the dependent variable is employee productivity . The population in this study were all employees of the Department of Education and Culture of Wajo Regency . Data were obtained using te k nik questionnaires, observation , documentation and interview . The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test and correlation test. Te k nik data analysis used is descriptive analysis (percentage and mean), test asusmsi classic (normality test, linieratis, a test multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test) regression test, t-test, test-f and test the delta coefficient of determination (R2 ). The results showed that work discipline and career development simultaneously affect the work productivity of employees at the Department of Education and Culture of Wajo Regency.

Abstract

Solid waste management is aimed at overcoming and preventing environmental pollution caused by both domestic and non-domestic waste. This study used a purely qualitative approach with a cross-section research time dimension. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the people who care about waste management are carried out by a small proportion of residents. A small portion of the community wants to process their household waste by making compost and various handicrafts. Meanwhile, the transportation of waste to the TPA is also not optimal, because the amount of waste generated every day cannot be transported all. Also, the readiness of the transport fleets is not sufficient when compared to the amount of waste produced each day
