Abstract

ABSTRACT                This study basically discusses the influence of emotional intelligence and work ethic on employee performance at PT. Forward Palembang Exspres. The population and sample studied were 52 people. From the results of the study of emotional intelligence and work ethic simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance of employees where the equation obtained from the results of multiple linear regression is Y = 21,132 + 0.098 X1 + 0.583 X2 + e. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.564 or 56.4% which means that 56.4% of performance is influenced by emotional intelligence and work ethic. While the remaining 43.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Such as the work environment, work discipline, education, income, social security, employment opportunities, capacity building and production facilities. F test results indicate the influence of emotional intelligence and work ethic on the performance of employees of PT. Forward Palembang Exspres. T-test results of emotional intelligence affect employee performance and work ethic affect employee performance at PT.Maju Exspres Palembang. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Work Ethic, Performance

Abstract

Therefore, this research aims to explain: the influence of service quality and location simultaneously on buying decisions at Angkringan Semar Palembang, the influence of service quality partially on buying decisions at Angkringan Semar Palembang, and the influence of location partially on buying decisions at Angkringan Semar Palembang. The sample in this research were consumers of Angkringan Semar Palembang amounting to 93 people using probability sampling (simple random sampling). Data were collected by questionnaire method and data analysis used was multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of this research indicate that service quality and location simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on buying decisions at Angkringan Semar Palembang, service quality partially have a positive and significant influence on buying decisions at Angkringan Semar Palembang, and location partially have a positive and significant influence on buying decisions at Angkringan Semar Palembang. Keywords : Quality Service, Location, Buying Decision

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Employee work performance is the result of work achieved by an employee in carrying out tasks in accordance with their responsibilities. There are many factors that affect employee work performance, but in this study only a few factors were discussed including competency, non-physical work environment and rewards. Competence is the ability possessed by someone to carry out the work given to him well. While the non-physical work environment is considered important because it has a direct influence on employees in carrying out and completing work. Other factors, namely rewards, are expected to be able to create healthy competition between employees in order to improve employee work performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of performance appraisal and employee training on job promotions at PT Bank Mandiri KCP A.Rivai Palembang. This research is a type of causal associative research that aims to analyze the relationship between one variable with another variable or how a variable affects other variables. The population in this study were all employees with a minimum service life of 5 years. The sampling method using the census method with a total sample of 36 people. Primary data is collected through questionnaires and interviews, secondary data is collected from companies and literature studies. Data analysis method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis methods with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the variable performance appraisal and employee training simultaneously or partially had a positive and significant effect on the promotion of the position of PT Bank Mandiri KCP A.Rivai Palembang with the contribution of Adjusted R Square of 51.5% promotion was influenced by the variable performance appraisal and training employee, the multiple regression equation is obtained: Y= 8,517 + 0,584 (x1) +  0,277 (x2)  + e   while the remaining 48.5% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. Keywords: Job Performance Evaluation, Employee Training, and Job Promotion

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of physical tangible, reliability, and responsiveness, assurance, and empathy on the decision of customers staying at the Hotel Amaris Palembang, to analyze the dominant variables affecting the decision customers who stay at Amaris Hotel Palembang, so the analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis, as well as hypothesis testing consisting of partial tests and simultaneous tests. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the value of sig <0.05. this means that the five dimensions of service (physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) significantly influence customer decisions. From the results of the analysis of the dimensions of service namely physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy show that the dimensions of service provided by Amaris Hotel Palembang can provide decisions to customers, the results of an analysis of the five dimensions of service then the dominant variable affecting customer decisions is assurance ( guarantee). This appears in the value of the regression coefficient = 0.192 and the value of t arithmetic = 3.640 which is greater than the other variables, besides that the smallest value of reliability sig is equal to 0,000. It can be said that the smaller the value of pvalue, the greater the effect on customer decisions. Keywords: Service Dimensions, Customer Decisions

Abstract

ABSTRACT Advertising is one form of promotion that is most widely used by companies in promoting their products. Packaging is the activity of designing and producing containers or packaging of a product. Purchasing decisions are a person's buying behaviour in determining a product choice to achieve satisfaction according to the needs and desires of consumers which include problem recognition, information seeking, evaluation of purchasing alternatives, purchasing decisions, and behaviour after purchase. The objectives discussed in this study were to find out the simultaneous and partial effects of advertising and packaging on the purchasing decisions of Mie Sedaap Instant products at Giant Plaju Palembang. The population in this study were all consumers using Mie Sedaap Instant products at Giant Plaju Palembang. The sample technique used in accidental sampling. The samples in this study were 50 consumers who bought Mie Sedaap Instant products at Giant Plaju Palembang. The analytical method used in Multiple Linear Regressions. The results of the study explain the effect simultaneously (F test) shows that the variable Ad (X1) and Packaging (X2) jointly influence the Purchase Decision (Y) with a calculated Fcount (68,827) > Ftable (3,195) so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and null hypothesis rejected. The results of the partial effect (t test) Ad variables (X1) have a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Y) with a tcount (4.083) > ttable (1,678), so the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. Packaging variables (X2) have a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Y) with a value of tcount (6.656) > ttable (1,678) so the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. Keywords : Advertising, Time, and Purchasing Decisions

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Effect of Organizational Culture and Communication on Employee Performance at PT.Fastfood Indonesia Tbk. (KFC Demang Lebar Daun branch) Palembang with a population of 59 employees, the sample in this study was a saturated sample. The data collection technique was carried out through questionnaire distribution and processed statistically using the multiple regression analysis method with Y = a + b1 X1 + b2X2 + e processed with the SPSS program 17. From the results of the validity test obtained r count> r table for each item statement and the reliability test questionnaire obtained the value of each variable which is 0.757 for variable X1, 0.771 for variable X2, and 0.765 for variable Y. The value explains the value of reliability> 0.60, meaning that the value of research instruments are reliable and can be used as a measuring instrument analyzed further. Data analysis of each variable obtained by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 6.694 + 0.313 X1 + 0.732 X2 + e. Obtained R Square value of 0.410, which means X1 and X2 explain the effect on the Y variable by 41%, while the remaining 59% is explained by other variables outside the study. From the results of the calculation of simultaneous test as large as 21,166 with F table of 3.16 which means Fcount> F table with a significant value of 0.005, which means that Organizational Culture and communication together influence simultaneously on the performance of employees at the KFC Demang Lebar Daun Palembang branch. From the partial test generated, each independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable, with Organizational Culture having a significance level of less than 0.05 so that the hypothesis is accepted while the Communication variable also has a significance of research smaller than 0.005 so that the hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: Organizational Culture, Communication, and Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the development of tourism towards the growth of UMKM in South Sumatra. The type of data used is secondary data with documentation data collection techniques. The results of the study concluded that the tourism potential in South Sumatra is very large. There are many types of tours that can be offered to tourists, such as ecotourism, cultural tourism, and culinary. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine the Effect of Leadership and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Sucofindo (Persero) Palembang Branch. In this study the total population was 133 people. Sampling in this study using the Slovin formula, the number of samples taken in this study were 57 people with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. From the results of this study there is an F Test which shows that the calculated F value is 1.019 with Sig 0.000a. Searching for Table F, with dfl =2, obtained the F-table value. With F-count condition smaller than F-table (1,019 < 3,16) with Sig 0.000 a value which means smaller than alpha (0.000a > 0,05), then the conclusion that can be taken is H0 rejected which means that independent variables consist of leadership (Xl), work discipline (X2) together have a significant effect on the dependent variable (Y) in the form of employee performance. There is at test showing that the leadership variable has a Sig.0,000 > 0.05 means significant. Where as t count 5.551 > fromt-table (n - k, 57 – 2 = 55) 0.2609 means that H0 is rejected. So that leadership partially has a significant effect on employee performance. There is attest showing that the work discipline variable has a Sig value of 0.000 > 0.05 meaning significant. Where as t count 6,514 > from t-table (n­ k, 57 – 2 = 55) 0,2609 means that H0 is rejected. So that the  work discipline partially  has  a   significant  effect  on   employee   performance. Implementation is an effort to improve performance can be done by improving leadership and  work discipline which  in turn can   improve performance. Keywords: Performance, Leadership and Work Discipline

Abstract

ABTRACT This study examines conflict and career development on the performance of employees of PT. Sunshine Food Group International Palembang The purpose of this research is to find out and prove whether there is conflict and career development on the performance of the employees of PT. Sunshine Food Group International Palembang, both simultaneously and partially. Research site on POM IX street, Palembang Square Mall area (Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital) Palembang. The population in this study were 35 employees and the census sampling method or saturated sample of the total population was 35 employees. Data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires that are closed. Significance level of 5%, data processing media through the SPSS program version 20.0. The results of the analysis of the data obtained correlation (r) between conflict with career development with employee performance of 0.762 which means that the relationship of conflict with career development has a strong and significant relationship, and R2 is 0.581 or 58.10%, while Adjusted (R2) is 0 , 554 or 55.40% variation in Employee Performance and the remaining 44.60% is explained by other factors such as, coordination, education and training and work climate. Multiple linear regression equations: Ŷ = 4.087 + 0.280 X1 + 0.869 X2 + e, F-Test results obtained Fhit value 22,148 with Sig. 0,000, because the value of Sig, F <0.05 proves that conflict and career development affect employee performance. T-test results obtained thit value of 2.081 with Sig.0.045 <0.05 for conflict, thit value of 5.161 with Sig.0.000 <0.05 for career development partially influencing employee performance. Keywords: Conflict, Career Development, Employee Performance
