Abstract

Komposisi tubuh yang tidak optimal dapat menurunkan kesegaran jasmani atlet sehingga dapat terjadi penurunan performa ketika bertanding. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan persen lemak tubuh, persen massa otot, dan somatotype dengan kesegaran jasmani pada atlet hockey. Desain penelitian yaitu cross-sectional dengan jumlah subjek 35 atlet di Pelatihan Hockey Universitas Negeri Semarang dan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang dipilih dengan purposive sampling. Data persen lemak tubuh dan persen massa otot diukur menggunakan bioelectrical impedence analysis (BIA). Data somatotype menggunakan metode antropometri Heath-Carter dan data kesegaran jasmani berupa nilai VO2max diambil menggunakan metode Balke. Analisis data menggunakan uji Pearson, Rank Spearman dan uji regresi linier. Sebagian besar atlet hockey (54,3%) memiliki nilai VO2max dengan kategori baik. Nilai persen lemak tubuh terendah 6,8% dan nilai tertinggi 35%. Nilai persen massa otot terendah 23,9% dan nilai tertinggi 40,9%. Nilai rata-rata dari nilai endomorph, mesomorph, dan ectomorph adalah (-0,04)±0,3; 4,2±0,9; dan 2,3±1,2. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persen lemak tubuh (p<0,001), persen massa otot (p<0,001), nilai endomorph (p<0,001), dan nilai ectomorph (p=0,016) dengan nilai VO2max. Variabel yang paling berkaitan dengan nilai VO2max adalah persen lemak (p<0,001). Correlation of body composition with physical fitness of hockey athletes AbstractSuboptimal body composition could reduce the physical fitness and performance of athletes. This study analyzed the relationship of percent body fat, percent muscle mass and somatotype on physical fitness in hockey athletes. This study was a cross-sectional study with 35 athletes in Pelatihan Hockey Universitas Negeri Semarang and Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta which selected by purposive sampling. Percent body fat and percent muscle mass were measured using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). Somatotype measurement used the anthropometric Heath-Carter method and physical fitness (VO2max) measurement by the Balke method. Data were analyzed using the Pearson test, Rank-Spearman test, and Linear Regression test. Most hockey athletes (54.3%) had good VO2max value. The lowest percentage of body fat was 6.8%. The highest percentage of muscle mass was 40.9%. The average value of the endomorph, mesomorph, and ectomorph values were (-0.04) ± 0.3; 4.2 ± 0,9; and 2.3 ± 1.2.  There were a significant relationship between percent body fat (p <0.001), percent muscle mass (p <0.001), endomorph value (p <0.001), and ectomorph value (p = 0.016) with VO2max value. Percent of body fat was the most related variable to VO2max (p<0.001).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh antara latihan beban metode compound set dan circuit training, (2) perbedaan pengaruh kekuatan otot tinggi dan rendah,dan (3) interaksi antara metode latihan beban dan kekuatan terhadap hasil hypertrophy otot dan ketebalan lemak. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 56 members yang programnya hypertrophy otot dari Fitness Centre GOR FIK UNY dan Fitness Centre Club Arena Hotel Jayakarta Yogyakarta. Sampel yang berjumlah 28 members ditentukan dengan teknik Purposive Rondom Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA). Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan beban dengan compound set dan circuit training terhadap hypertrophy otot, (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh kekuatan otot tinggi dan rendah terhadap hypertrophy otot dan ketebalan lemak, dan ada interaksi yang signifikan antara metode latihan beban dan kekuatan otot terhadap hypertrophy otot.Kata kunci: metode latihan beban, kekuatan otot, hasil hypertrophy otot dan ketebalan lemak. The effect of weight training and muscle strength on muscle hypertrophy and fat thicknessAbstractThis study aims to find out: (1) the differences between the effect of weight training method and circuit training compound set, (2) differences in the effect of high and low muscle strength, and (3) the interaction among methods of weight training and muscle strength on the muscle hypertrophy and fat thickness. This study is experimental. The population was 56 members of Sport Hall Fitness Centre Faculty, of Sports Science, State University of Yogyakarta and Fitness Centre Club Arena Hotel Jayakarta Yogyakarta. A sample of 28 members was established using the  purposive random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this study was the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results show that: (1) there is a significant effect difference between the weight training and circuit training compound set on the result of muscle hypertrophy(2) there is a difference in the effect of high and low muscle strength on the results of muscle hypertrophy and fat thickness, and (3) there is a significant interaction between the weight training method and muscle strength on the muscle hypertrophy results.Keywords: method of weight training, muscle strength, muscle hypertrophy results and fat thickness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out differences in influence between internal imagery training and external training imagery on the results of free-throw shooting in extracurricular bola basketball, It used an experimental method. The sample was selected by random sampling technique which comprised three schools, SMPN 1 Bantul, SMPN 3 Bantul, SMPN 3 Jetis with a total of 42 bola basketball extracurricular students. An instrument measured the shooting free throw test to measure the free throw from Arianto B. The data were then analyzed using a two-track analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a significant level of α = 0.05. The results show that there is a significant difference between internal and external imagery training on the results of free-throw extracurricular bola basketball, which is evident from the value sig = 0.010 0.05. External exercises imagery provides a better influence on the results of free shooting extracurricular bola basketball.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manajemen program latihan sekolah sepakbola (SSB) Gajah Mada (GAMA) Yogyakarta. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini meliputi: anggota siswa SSB (3 orang), pelatih (1 orang), pengurus (1 orang) dan orang tua atlet (3 orang) SSB GAMA Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah sepakbola GAMA yang dijadikan tempat pengambilan data manajemen pengelolaan program latihan sudah dilakukan dengan optimal. Sekolah sepakbola yang dijadikan tempat pengambilan data telah menerapkan lima fungsi manajemen. Lima fungsi manajemen itu meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, aktuating, pengendalian dan budgeting. Pelatih di sekolah sepakbola memiliki tugas untuk membuat program latihan berdasarkan kalender kompetisi yang dikeluarkan PSSI DIY. Pelatih, orangtua dan atlet bekerjasama untuk membuat program latihan itu dimaksudkan agar pelatih mengetahui kemampuan atlet dengan mengadakan pengukuran awal, dan atlet menyetujui beban latihan dari program latihan yang disusun. Mekanisme pembuatan program latihan adalah sebuah cara kerjasama pelatih, atlet dan orang tua membuat dan menentukan program latihan yang disesuaikan dengan kalender pertandingan.Kata Kunci: manajemen olahraga, program latihan, sekolah sepakbola Program management school of football (SSB) GAMA Yogyakarta AbstractThis study aims to identify school football workout program management (SSB) Gadjah Mada (GAMA) Yogyakarta. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, data collection by interview, observation and documentation studies. Subjects in this study includes: SSB student member (3), trainers (1 person), board (1 person) and parents of athletes (3) GAMA SSB Yogyakarta. The results showed that the school is used as a football GAMA data retrieval program management training has been carried out with the optimum. Used as a football school data retrieval has implemented five management functions. The five functions of management include planning, organizing, aktuating, control and budgeting. School football coach has a duty to make an exercise program based on the competition calendar issued PSSI DIY. Coaches, parents and athletes collaborated to create an exercise program that is intended to determine the ability of the athlete to the coach holding the initial measurement, and athlete approved training load of structured exercise program. Mechanisms of making exercise program is a way of cooperation coaches, athletes and parents to create and determine an exercise program that is tailored to match the calendar.Keywords: sport management, exercise programs, school football

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan sebuah model latihan imagery untuk peningkatan ketepatan floating service pada atlet voli pantai NTB, dan (2) mengetahui keefektifan model latihan imagery untuk peningkatan ketepatan floating service atlet voli pantai NTB. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau yang sering disebut research and development yang mana digunakan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yang diinginkan. Hasil penelitian ini, yaitu studi pendahuluan, uji skala kecil dan skala besar yang telah dilakukan dengan percobaaan floating service dan instrument yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dinyatakan bahwa penilaian para ahli terhadap model latihan imagery untuk meningkatkan ketepatan floating service dikatakan ‘layak’ untuk diterapkan di lapangan. Untuk uji efektifitas produk akhir, dari hasil analisis uji t menggunakan Paired Sample Test, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pretest – posttest ketepatan floating service dengan nilai t sebesar 8.104 dan signifikansi 0.000 0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan floating service sebelum dan sesudah diberikan latihan imagery mendapatkan peningkatan yang signifikan atau ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan imagery untuk peningkatan ketepatan floating service. Exercise model imagery to improve the accuracy of floating service in beach volleyball athlete AbstractThis study aims to: (1) produce an exercise model of imagery to improve the accuracy of floating service in NTB beach volleyball athletes, and (2) determine the effectiveness an exercise model of imagery to improve the accuracy of floating service in NTB beach volleyball athletes. This research uses research and development methods or often called research and development which is used to produce the desired product. The results of this study, namely a preliminary study, small scale and large scale tests that have been carried out with a trial of floating services and instruments that have been tested for validity and reliability, stated that experts' assessment of imagery training models to improve the accuracy of floating services is said to be 'feasible' in the field. To test the effectiveness of the final product, the results of the t-test analysis using Paired Sample Test, showed that the increase in pretest-posttest floating service accuracy with a t value of 8,104 and significance of 0,000 0.05, it can be concluded that the increase in floating service before and after imagery training was given get a significant increase or there is a significant effect of imagery training on improving the accuracy of floating services.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh antara metode uchikomi dengan menggunakan karet ban sepeda dan uchikomi jalan terhadap hasil bantingan judo, (2) perbedaan hasil bantingan antara pejudo yang memiliki flexibility tinggi dan flexibility rendah, dan (3) interaksi antara metode uchikomi dan flexibility terhadap hasil bantingan judo. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi penelitian adalah pejudo D.I. Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 44 pejudo. Sampel penelitian ini 24 pejudo yang diambil dengan teknik Purposive Rondom Sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes dan pengukuran. Instrumen penelitian adalah sit and reach dan Randori (dipertandingkan) selama tiga menit. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA. Hasil penelitian bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan uchikomi dengan menggunakan karet ban sepeda dan uchikomi jalan terhadap hasil bantingan judo, (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil bantingan judo antara pejudo yang memiliki flexibility tinggi dan flexibility rendah, dan (3) ada interaksi antara metode uchikomi dan flexibility terhadap hasil bantingan judo.Kata Kunci: Metode latihan uchikomi, flexibility, judo, hasil bantingan judo. The effect of uchikomi method and flexibility against dings results among judoka D.I YogyakartaAbstractThis study aimed to determine: (1) the difference between the effect of uchikomi method using rubber tires and on the road uchikomi dings judo results, (2) the difference between the results dings among judoka which have high flexibility and low flexibility, and (3) the interaction between uchikomi method and flexibility of the dings results. This research is experimental with 2 x 2 factorial design. The population was judoka D.I. Yogyakarta, amounting to 44 judokas. The 24 samples were taken with random purposive sampling. All were data obtained through this study to test and measure the flexibility using the sit and reach test and the results of the Randori judo dings (contested) for three minutes. The data analysis technique used is the variant analysis ANOVA. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference between uchikomi exercises using a bicycle tire rubber and on the road uchikomi dings judo results, (2) there is a significant difference between the results of dings judo judoka which have high flexibility and low flexibility, and (3) there is an interaction between uchikomi method and flexibility against dings judo results.Keywords: Uchikomi method exercise, flexibility, judo, judo slam result

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis backspin tenis meja atlet pemula, (2) perbedaan keterampilan sevis backspin tenis meja antara siswa yang mempunyai koordinasi tinggi dan rendah, dan (3) interaksi antara metode latihan drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah dan koordinasi terhadap ketepatan servis tenis meja atlet pemula. Penelitiaan ini merupakan penelitian ekperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Sampel penelitian ini 28 atlet yang diambil dengan teknik rondom sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis varian (Anava). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan metode drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan servis backspin tenis meja atlet pemula, (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil keterampilan servis backspin tenis meja antara siswa yang mempunyai koordinasi tinggi dan rendah, dan (3) ada interaksi antara metode latihan drill arah sasaran konstan dan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah dan koordinasi terhadap ketepatan sevis tenis meja atlet pemula. Kelompok atlet tenis meja yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi lebih tepat jika dilatih dengan drill arah sasaran berubah-ubah, sedangkan kelompok atlet tenis meja yang memiliki koordinasi rendah lebih baik jika dilatih dengan metode drill arah sasaran konstan.Kata Kunci: metode latihan drill, koordinasi, atlet pemula tenis meja, ketepatan servis backspin The Effects of Drill Training Method and Coordination on the Accuracy of Table Tennis Service AbstractThis study aims to investigate: (1) the difference of the effect of drill training method for a constant  target and that for a variable target on the accuracy of table tennis backspin service among novice athletes, (2) the difference of table tennis backspin service skill between students with high coordination and those with low coordination, and (3) the interaction of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target and coordination on the accuracy of table tennis service among novice table tennis athletes. This was an experimental study employing a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research sample consisted of 28 athletes, selected by means of sample technique. The data were collected through test. The test were used to assess the service skills before and after treatment. The data were analyzed using the two-way analysis of variance (Anava). The results of the study were as follows: (1) there is a significant difference in the effect of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target on the accuracy of table tennis backspin service among novice table tennis athletes, (2) there is a significant difference in table tennis backspin service skill between the students with high coordination and those with low coordination, and (3) there is an interaction of drill training method for a constant target and that for a variable target and coordination on the accuracy of the table tennis service among novice table tennis athletes. The group of table tennis athletes with high coordination has higher accuracy when they are trained through the drill method for a variable target, while those with low coordination are better when they are trained through the drill method for a constant target.Keywords: drill training method, coordination, novice table tennis athletes, accuracy, backspin service

Abstract

Kebugaran kardiorespirasi memungkinkan aktivitas fisik dalam waktu lama dan memerlukan oksigen untuk mendapatkan energi. Transpor oksigen dimediasi oleh hemoglobin yang terdapat dalam eritrosit. Kebugaran kardiorespirasi dapat diukur berdasarkan nilai VO2max. Metode latihan High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) terbukti dapat meningkatkan VO2max. Namun belum jelas apakah peningkatan VO2max diiringi dan berhubungan dengan perubahan nilai hemoglobin, eritrosit dan hematokrit. Penelitian ini mempelajari korelasi perubahan nilai VO2max, hemoglobin, eritrosit dan hematokrit sebelum dan sesudah latihan HIIT selama 8 minggu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, VO2max meningkat sebesar 7,33±4,03 (ml·kg-1·min-1) atau 20,36% (p<0,05), hemoglobin dan eritrosit meningkat sebesar 0,04±0,63 atau 0,24% (p>0,05) dan 0,02±0,22·106/µL atau 0,32% (p>0,05) sedangkan hematokrit mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,12±2% dari volume darah atau 0,27% (p>0,05) dari nilai pre-test. Uji korelasi menunjukkan ada hubungan (p<0,05) antara perubahan nilai hemoglobin, eritrosit dan hematokrit, namun tidak terdapat hubungan (p>0,05) dengan peningkatan VO2max. Correlation of Change in VO2Max, Hemoglobin, Erythrocytes, and Hematocrit After High Intensity Interval Training AbstractCardiorespiratory fitness allows physical activity  for a long time and requires oxygen to gain energy. Oxygen transport mediated by hemoglobin present in erythrocytes. Cardiorespiratory fitness can be measured based on VO2max values. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) have been shown to improve VO2max. It is not clear whether the increase in VO2max is accompanied and associated with changes in hemoglobin, erythrocyte and hematocrit values. This study aim to find out the correlation of VO2max, hemoglobin, erythrocyte and hematocrit changes before and after HIIT for 8 weeks. The results VO2max increased by 7.33±4.03 (ml·kg-1·min-1) or 20.36% (p<0.05), hemoglobin and erythrocytes increased by 0.04±0.63 or 0.24% (p>0.05) and 0.02±0.22·106/μL or 0.32% (p>0.05) whereas the hematocrit decreased by 0.12±2% of blood volume or 0.27% (p>0.05) of the pre-test value. The correlation test showed a correlation (p<0.05) between changes in hemoglobin, erythrocyte and hematocrit values, but no relationship (p>0.05) with increased VO2max.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah pedoman tes fisik atlet pencak silat dewasa kategori tanding yang valid dan reliabel yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kondisi fisik atlet pencak silat dewasa kategori tanding. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Teknik Analisis data menggunakan penyusunan skor baku dengan rerata dan simpangan baku skor T yang digolongkan menjadi lima norma berdasar pada distribusi gejala normal, yaitu sangat baik, baik, sedang, kurang, sangat kurang. Data yang diperoleh tiap-tiap jenis tes merupakan data kasar dari hasil tiap tes yang di capai atlet. Selanjutnya hasil data kasar tersebut diubah dengan rumus T skor. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh 9 (Sembilan) jenis tes fisik atlet pencak silat dewasa kategori tanding, antara lain: (1) Fleksibilitas (Side Splite), (2) Kecepatan (Sprint 40 Meter), (3) Power Lengan (Push Up 30 Detik), (4) Kekuatan Perut (Sit Up), (5) Kekuatan Punggung (Back Up), (6) Power Tungkai (Standing Triple Jump), (7) Kelincahan (Shuttle Run), (8) Daya tahan anaerobik (Sprint 300 meter), dan (9) Daya tahan aerobik (Bleep Tes). Tes ini dinyatakan valid dan menunjukkan koefisien reliabilitas putra dan putri > 0,5.Kata Kunci: tes pengukuran, pencak silat, kondisi fisik. THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PHYSICAL TEST OF ADULT FIGHTING CATEGORY PENCAK SILAT ATHLETEAbstractThis research was aimed to produce a valid and reliable guide book for a physical test for adult pencak silat athlete in fighting category. This guide book was supposed to measure the physical condition of adult pencak silat athlete at the fighting category. This research was using research and development method. The data analysis techniques used in this research were the construction of standard score by the mean and standard deviation of T score. The T score was classified into five norms based on normal indication distribution, namely very good, good, moderate, poor, and very poor. The data taken from each test was the raw data from the result of each test achieved by the athletes. Then, that result was changed into T-score. This research reveals nine types of physical test for adult pencak silat athlete at the fighting category. They are: (1) Flexibility (Side Splite), (2) Speed (Sprint 40 meters), (3) Arm Power (30 seconds Push Up), (4) Abdominal Strength (Sit Up), (5) Back Strength (Back Up), (6) Leg Power (Standing Triple Jump), (7) Agility (Shuttle Run), (8) Anaerobic Endurance (300 meters Sprint), and (9) Aerobic Endurance (Bleep Test). This test is valid and indicates reliability coefficient of male and female > 0.5.Keywords: measurement test, pencak silat, physical condition.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model permainan untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bola basket di sekolah menengah pertama. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengembangan produk model permainan untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bola basket di sekolah menengah pertama dilakukan dalam tujuh tahapan, yaitu: (1) pengumpulan hasil riset dan informasi, (2) analisis terhadap produk yang akan dikembangkan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli, (5) uji coba skala kecil dan revisi, (6) uji coba skala besar dan revisi, dan (7) pembuatan produk final. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak sekolah menengah pertama. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 25 siswa SMP N 4 Pandak. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 56 siswa SMP N 1 Pandak dan SMP N 3 Pandak. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: (1) pedoman wawancara, dan (2) pedoman observasi pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model permainan untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bola basket di sekolah menengah pertama yang berisikan sembilan permainan, yaitu: (1) Lempar Nama, (2) Lempar Target, (3) Lempar Gerak, (4) Fun Dribbling, (5) Target Dribbling, (6) Kejar Mengejar, (7) Tembak Tongkat, (8) Rintang Tali, dan (9) Happy Game. Dari hasil penilaian para ahli dan guru, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model permainan yang disusun sangat sesuai dengan karakteristik serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangan teknik dasar pada anak sekolah menengah pertama.Kata Kunci: permainan, teknik dasar, bola basket Developing Game Models for Basketball Basic Technique Learning in Junior High School AbstractThe research aims to create game models for basketball basic learning technique in Junior High School. The research approach used is Research and Development. The development of the game model products for basketball basic technique learning process in Junior High School was devided into seven steps: (1) collecting research result and information, (2) products development analysis, (3) primary product development, (4) expert validation, (5) small-scale testing and revision, (6) large-scale testing and revision, and (7) creating final product. The research subjects are Junior High School students. The small-scale testing involved 25 students of SMPN 4 Pandak.  The main field test involved 56 students of SMPN 1 Pandak and SMPN 3 Pandak. The data collecting instruments are: (1) interview and (2) learning observation. The data analysis techniques employed are descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative techniques. The research results are game models for basketball basic learning technique in Junior High School. There are nine game models: (1) Name Throw, (2) Target Throw, (3) Moving Throw, (4) Fun Dribbling, (5) Target Dribbling, (6) Tag Game, (7) Stick Shooting, (8) Rope Barricad, and (9) Happy Game. From the judgement result of the experts and teachers it can be concluded that the game models are very suitable for Junior High School students characteristics and also their growth and development on the basic techniques.Keywords: games, basic technique, basketball
