Abstract

Everyone can make a speech, but not everyone can make a good and correct speech. Everyone needs to develop speaking skills in everyday life. Therefore, this research aims to describe the speaking skills of class VI students: a case study of SD Pedurungan Kidul 02 Semarang. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Pedurungan Kidul 02, Semarang City, Central Java. The data collected are qualitative in the form of narratives regarding the ability of speaking skills in delivering speeches, factors that influence speaking skills, and efforts to improve speaking skills in delivering opinions. The data sources used were primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, test, and documentation. The results of this research are that the speaking skills of the three class VI students at SD Negeri Pedurungan Kidul 02 Semarang City are categorized as "low". This is shown based on the results of the three students. There are several indicators that are still not understood by students, namely indicators of pronunciation, fluency, and body gestures. Factors that can affect students' speaking skills are divided into supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include methods, models, learning media, student memorization, word selection, and pausing on punctuation. While the inhibiting factors are the existence of a person's pronunciation tool that is less than perfect and the lack of learning assistance to children.

Abstract

The entrepreneurship program in Indonesia is a manifestation of the initiative to enhance the image of Pancasila students. However, there are still areas that need improvement in the implementation, and there is a lack of research on the strategies for developing entrepreneurship programs. Therefore, it is crucial to develop a strategy to assist in the execution of the entrepreneurship program. This study employed a qualitative approach, specifically utilizing a case study design. Data was gathered by conducting interviews with three individuals who played a crucial role in the entrepreneurship program at Muhammadiyah Prambanan Elementary School. The findings indicate that schools incorporated entrepreneurship into their curriculum through various means, such as organizing field trips, setting up food stands, and hosting artwork exhibitions. The approach to developing the implementation of the entrepreneurship program involved the formation of committees, establishing partnerships with external schools, and engaging work instructors. Factors that contributed to the research included strong support from stakeholders and external schools through collaboration, while obstacles emerged from a lack of skills among existing school staff and challenges with guardians/parents. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the approach to establishing entrepreneurship programs in educational institutions. It aims to provide valuable insights for other schools seeking to develop similar initiatives.

Abstract

Independent living skills need to be mastered by every student both in dealing with everyday life and in the school environment in the 21st century. Students must be able to develop their life skills so they can be independent and develop optimally. This study aims to analyze the grouping of the level of choice of Independent Living Skills items in elementary schools based on the teacher's perception of students through a combination of the standard deviation value (SD) and the logit average value (Mean). The research was conducted on elementary school teachers in West Java. The analysis was carried out through the Rasch Model with the Winstep application. The results of this analysis can indicate that there are various levels of choice of Independent Living Skills items. The grouping is based on hard-to-select items with a logit value greater than +1SD; difficult categories with a logit value of 0.0 logit +1SD; easy-to-select categories 0.0 logit – 1SD; and it is very easy to select with a value smaller than -SD. From this study it can be concluded that the Independent Life Skills instrument items can identify various levels of student independence.  This instrument can be used for initial semester assessments in "Kurikulum Merdeka".

Abstract

Technology serves a crucial role in supporting teachers as a valuable teaching tool. Class activities require engaging and creative teaching materials that can motivate students to actively participate in the learning process. The study aims to develop educational materials in the form of puzzles using Wordwall, with the goal of enhancing students' creativity and promoting effective learning. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was utilized to create puzzle products using Wordwall. An experimental design was then implemented to examine the impact of using puzzle teaching materials from Wordwall on reading literacy, creativity, and learning outcomes. The product's viability was assessed by media and materials experts. Following an assessment of its viability, a small-scale product trial was conducted with a group of 10 students, followed by a larger-scale test involving 32 students. A study discovered the practicality and efficiency of the product for implementation in primary schools. The findings of this study suggest that utilizing wordwall puzzles media in theme 3 material is both practical and beneficial for facilitating learning. According to this, the research findings can serve as a valuable teaching strategy for educators to effectively guide their students. This research can serve as an effective strategy for teachers to support and guide students in their learning.

The structured risks are a development of the risk mapping that was prepared during the previous program. Risks that have been identified are not risks that are fixed (given). The risks referred to can change, increase, or even decrease according to the conditions faced by the organization. Communication in efforts to update risk data in risk register management is still very necessary as an effort to enrich the types and impacts of these risks on the organization.
