Abstract

This research belongs to correlation research. It consists of interpersonal communication as independent variable and learning activities as dependent variable. This study is aimed to know the correlation of interpersonal communication and learning activities of social sciences. This research was conducted in March 2018 and used survey research with correlational approach. The subject of this research is the students of grade V of Ciluar, in Bogor. The population of this research are 53 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are simple regression and correlation analysis techniques. The technique of simple regression and correlation analysis yields a model of correlation which is expressed in the form of regression equation that is Ŷ = 24,307 + 0,7164X, with price F count equal to 63,83 bigger than F tabel with real level 0,05 equal 4,03, and contribution based the results of research by 56%, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant correlation between interpersonal communication and students' learning activities of Social Sciences. Learning includes transmitting information and communication therefore, from this research, a conclusion can be drawn that interpersonal communication should be possessed by each learner in the learning process. A teacher plays an important drawn in developing interpersonal communication skill and this can be achieved through the application of various learning models.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication,  Learning Activities of social sciences.

Abstract

This research is with the design and model of Quantitative Research of Correlational Studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between self-concept and students discipline of students in V grade students of Kota Batu 02 State Elementary School Ciomas District Bogor Regency. The subject of this research is 80 students of class V Kota Batu 02 State Elementary School Ciomas District Bogor Regency. This research was conducted on the odd semester of Lesson 2018/2019. The results showed that the average of self-concept variable is 89,88, while the students discipline variable has an average of 90,95 thus the relationship of self-concept with students discipline in statistical analysis is indicated by the result of significance test and regression with regression equation Ŷ =48,374 + 0,4737x. This means that each increase of one students discipline variable value is 0,4737 units. The strength of the relationship between self-concept and students discipline is shown by the correlation coefficient with r value of 0,48 which means have a relationship. The magnitude of the contribution of self-concept with students discipline is shown by the coefficient (r²) of 0,23 with the coefficient of determination of 23%. This means that the increase or decrease in students discipline has a relationship by self-concept by 23%. Based on the results of the above research can be concluded that the relationship between self-concept and discipline of students in class V Kota Batu 02 State Element 02 Bogor Regency have a relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of media usage snake and ladder on student interest in Primary School. This study used a Kausal design. This research was conducted in Class 4 SDN Katulampa 1 Bogor City in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The analysis technique used is the analysis prerequisite test which includes the normality test, homogeneity test, then the research hypothesis is carried out using the t-test. Based on the results of research in grade 4 SDN Katulampa 1, there is a significant influence between media use snake and ladder with student interest in learning, this can be shown from the results of the correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.78 which shows that there is a strong influence of the variable use of snake and ladder media on student interest in learning and the tcount is 8,480. This is also evidenced by the regression equation Ŷ = -58,23 + 1.5 X, meaning that each increase in the use of snake and ladder media will increase student interest in learning by 1.5 units. Besides, the results of the coefficient of determination r 2 = 0.60, which means that the snake and ladder learning media contributed 60% to the interest in learning, while other factors contributed 40%. This shows that there is an effect of using the snake and ladder media on students' interest in learning

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V  melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran gambar fotografi. Obyek penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Semplak 2 Bogor kelas V yang terdiri dari 30 siswa, dengan komposisi 13 siswa, dan 17 siswi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus pertama memperoleh nilai sebesar 73,5 dan pada siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 85,1. Hasil observasi sikap siswa menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada aktivitas siswa dengan memperoleh nilai pada siklus pertama 82,6 dan siklus kedua memperoleh nilai 89,3. Sementara nilai rata-rata hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial  pada siklus pertama memperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 63,3%,hasil belajar siklus kedua memperoleh ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 86,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran gambar fotografi  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Semplak 2 Bogor. Selain itu penggunaan media gambar fotografi ini dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, kerjasama, dan kedisiplinan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar IPS,  Media Gambar Fotografi.    Abstract     This research is to improve the learning outcomes of Social Science subjects of class V students through the use of photographic learning media. The object of this research is the students of Public Elementary School of Semplak 2 Bogor class V consisting of 30 students, with the composition of 13 students, and 17 female students. The results showed that the value of the learning process implementation in the first cycle obtained a value of 73.5 and in the second cycle increased to 85.1. The result of student attitude observation showed an increase in student activity by obtaining the value in first cycle 82,6 and second cycle get value 89,3. While the average score of learning outcomes of Social Science subjects in the first cycle obtained a complete learning outcome of 63.3%, the second cycle learning results obtained mastery of learning outcome of 86.7%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the use of photography learning media can improve the learning outcomes of students in grade V at State Elementary School Semplak 2 Bogor. In addition, the use of photographic images can enhance the activity, cooperation, and discipline of students in the learning process.Keywords: Results of Social Science Learning, Photographi media

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan pada guru untuk membuat karya tulis ilmiah sesuai standar. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya guru yang tertahan pada pangkat/golongan tertentu karena kekurangpahaman membuat dan mempublikasikan karya ilmiah yang sesuai dengan kaidah yang berlaku. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah guru SDN Pabuaran Cilendek Kota Bogor. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut dilakukan oleh tim dosen Pendidikan Dasar Universitas Pakuan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan dengan metode blended, yaitu melalui tatap muka dan melalui daring Melalui kegiatan ini membantu mengembangkan terciptanya suasana akademik yang mampu membuat komunitas sekolah antusias untuk belajar membuat dan mempublikasi karya ilmiah. Output dari pelatihan ini adalah prototipe proposal PTK hingga pendampingan penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah dari hasil laporan PTK.

Abstract

Technology serves a crucial role in supporting teachers as a valuable teaching tool. Class activities require engaging and creative teaching materials that can motivate students to actively participate in the learning process. The study aims to develop educational materials in the form of puzzles using Wordwall, with the goal of enhancing students' creativity and promoting effective learning. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was utilized to create puzzle products using Wordwall. An experimental design was then implemented to examine the impact of using puzzle teaching materials from Wordwall on reading literacy, creativity, and learning outcomes. The product's viability was assessed by media and materials experts. Following an assessment of its viability, a small-scale product trial was conducted with a group of 10 students, followed by a larger-scale test involving 32 students. A study discovered the practicality and efficiency of the product for implementation in primary schools. The findings of this study suggest that utilizing wordwall puzzles media in theme 3 material is both practical and beneficial for facilitating learning. According to this, the research findings can serve as a valuable teaching strategy for educators to effectively guide their students. This research can serve as an effective strategy for teachers to support and guide students in their learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore pedagogical approaches and students’ engagement during STEM teaching. As many as 215 elementary school teachers in West Java were involved in this research. Those involved consisted of 161 women and 49 men. The majority of teachers have an elementary school teacher education background (87%), 7% have other educational backgrounds (Science Education/Mathematics Education/Social Education/Language Education), and the remaining 6% are in the sciences. The instrument used in this study was a closed questionnaire with 20 items from a Likert scale survey. The results of the study show that 50% of elementary school teachers very rarely use experimental approaches and problem-based learning when teaching STEM content. More than 60% of teachers also very rarely use the inquiry approach in teaching the four contents. The approach that is often used by teachers in teaching STEM is a collaborative and integrated approach. In addition, the survey results also show that more than 50% of students are very rarely involved in inquiry and engineering practice activities when learning about STEM content. The analysis of professional development needs showed that the majority of elementary school teachers have never received a professional development program regarding STEM education. In fact, the majority of teachers have a positive attitude towards the coaching program, which has an impact on increasing their competence. Apart from that, the results of this research also show that there is a lack of external support (from universities, educational practitioners, and researchers) for teachers in coaching programs. These findings provide evidence that teachers still need to receive training on pedagogical approaches that are relevant to integrated STEM education. The existence of training on STEM education is expected to improve the quality of STEM learning in the classroom. Thus, students' involvement in scientific and engineering practice when learning STEM becomes more dominant.

Abstract

Pendekatan yang diambil adalah eksperimen quasi desain dua grup di SDIT Al Muhajirin Depok  yang terdiri dari 68 Siswa, penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh “Pengaruh Penerapan Model Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Subtema 2 Pentingnya Udara Bersih Bagi Pernafasan. Hal ini terlihat dari N-Gain pada kelompok kelas eksperimen sebesar 81, sedangkan kelompok kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 74. Ketuntasan hasil belajar yang diperoleh kelompok eksperimen sebesar 91% sedangkan pada kelompok kelas kontrol sebesar 71%. Serta hasil pengujian hipotesis bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima karena thitung (2,3522) lebih besar dari ttabel (1,9966). Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara “Pengaruh Penerapan Model Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Subtema 2 Pentingnya Udara Bersih Bagi Pernafasan”. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan baru mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran yang inovatif sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar serta membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan efesien.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and develop e-book teaching materials using kvisoft flipbook maker on the theme of 9 objects around us subtheme 1 single and mixed objects in class V of SDN Loji 2 Bogor City. The method used by Research and Development (R&D) is the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, implementation, Evaluation) model, but this research is only up to implementation. They are producing e-book teaching materials using kvisoft flipbook maker with 19 student respondents. To test the feasibility, validation sheets of media experts, linguists, and material experts were used with results obtained in the suitable category for use in learning. The results of the research from the validator instruments of media experts, linguists, and material experts obtained an average of 92.45% and the results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 90.63%. Based on the results of research and development of e-book teaching materials using kvisoft flipbook maker, it can be categorized as suitable for use by students in the learning process.
