Abstract

This research was held to construct IPS learning with life skill of portofolio method at class IX of SMPN 22 in 2012-2013.  This learning research was planned and drawn up based on IXA and IXB SMPN 22 student’s  life skills in 2012-2013.  The type of this research is qualitative descriptive, based on SMPN 22 student’s  life skills in class IX, through stages of exploration, colaboration, documentation and presentation.  There are two kind of life skills were used in this reserach, they are common life skill and special life skill.  Common life skill consist of individual skill, information quarry skill, social skill and group skill.  As for special skill consist of documentation skill and appearance skill.  The construction stages of IPS learning with life skill of portofolio method starts from mapping standard competetion and basic competetion, planning the IPS learning with life skill of portofolio method, planning of IPS learning, the erly stage of learning and IPS learning with life skill of portofolio method grouping, and last but not least is the stages of documentation.  Thereform, IPS learning with life skill of portofolio method at class ix of SMPN 22 in 2012-2013 can increase the level of cognitive, affective, psycomotor and social skill.Keywords : Learning life skill of portofolio method and life skills

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know: the difference of students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model, numbered head together learning model, and conventional learning model. This research  uses quasi experiment method by descriptive and quantitative approached. The design of quasi eksperiment uses post test only non equivalent control group design. The results of this research show that: (1) there are the difference of students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model, numbered head together learning model, and conventional learning model, (2) The students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model is better than  numbered head together learning model, (3) The  students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model is better than conventional learning model, (4) The students social skills average in numbered head together learning model is better than conventional learning model.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan sosial pada model pembelajaran Think Pair Square, model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together, dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Post Test Only, Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa  pada model pembelajaran Think Pair Square, model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together, dan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) Rata-rata Keterampilan Sosial Siswa pada Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Square lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together, (3) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada model pembelajaran Think Pair Square lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional, (4) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: keterampilan  sosial, numbered head together, pembelajaran konvensional, think pair square

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine: differences in learning outcomes between teaching history using TAI and TGT models. The method used is the quasi-experimental design. The results showed: (1) there are differences in learning outcomes interoperability and between models early history, (2) there are differences in learning outcomes between teaching history using TAI and TGT models, (3) there are differences in learning outcomes between the ability of the early history of the high and low; (4) no interaction between models learning with prior knowledge of the student learning outcomes, (5) no difference in the average outcomes study history using the TGT model of TAI and capable students who start high, (6) there was no difference in average learning outcomes history by using a model of TAI and TGT on initial low-capable students.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model TAI dan TGT. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan desain eksperimental semu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antarmodel dan antarkemampuan awal; (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model TAI dan TGT; (3) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah; (4) ada interaksi antarmodel pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal terhadap hasil belajar siswa; (5) ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah dengan menggunakan model TAI dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal tinggi; (6) tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah dengan menggunakan model TAI dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal rendah.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, kemampuan awal, hasil belajar

Abstract

The research aimed to increase students’ motivation and learning activity by using CTL approach that oriented to Life Skill in Geography learning. This research was Classroom Action Research. The data analysis technique was descriptive analysis. The result showed that there was an increase on students’ motivation and learning activities in each cycles. In cycle I the percentage of students’ motivation and learning had not yet reached the expected criteria. In cycle II the percentage of students’ motivation and learning had increased compared to the preceding cycle but had not yet reached the expected criteria. In cycle III the percentage of students’ motivation and learning had increased compared to the preceding cycle and that increase had reached the expected criteria. Based on the research discussion, that the learning by using CTL approach that oriented to Life Skill could Increase Students’ Motivation and Learning Activity in Geography.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL yang berorientasi pada Life Skill dalam pembelajaran Geografi. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I persentase motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa belum mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan. Pada siklus II persentase motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan siklus I tetapi belum mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan. Pada siklus III persentase motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan siklus II dan peningkatannya sudah mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, bahwa penerapan pendekatan CTL berorientasi pada Life Skill dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, ctl, motivasi belajar

Abstract

This research was aimed to know that using of audio visual media could increase motivation and learning outcome of history by using Inquiry learning model. Method which used in this research was PTK it was consist of three cycles, each cycles has planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Result of this research showed that there was an increasing on: (1) students motivation to learn, which 56,25% on 1st cycle, 74,19% on 2nd , and 90% on 3rd cycle; (2) students learning outcomes in cognitive aspect increased from average value 69,53 on 1st cycle, 73,71 on 2nd cycle, 80,66 on 3rd cycle, in affective aspect was 56,25% on 1st cycle,74,19% on 2nd cycle, 90% on 3rd cycle, in psychomotor aspect increased from average value 70,08 on 1st cycle, 75,18 on 2nd cycle,and 80,59 on 3rd cycle. Implication, based on research was audio visual media could increase learning motivation and the increasing of learning motivation could increase leraning outcome.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar dengan model pembelajaran inquiry. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PTK yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada: (1) motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu sebesar 56,25% pada siklus I, 74,19% siklus II, dan 90% siklus 3; (2) hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 69,53 siklus I, 73,71 siklus II, dan 80,66 siklus III, ranah afektif, meningkat dari 56,25% siklus I, 74,19 siklus II, dan 90% siklus III, ranah psikomotor meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 70,08 siklus I, 75,18 siklus II, dan 80,59 siklus III. Implikasi, berdasarkan hasil temuan adalah penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan peningkatan motivasi belajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media audio visual, motivasi belajar

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activity and the learning achievement of students in the geography subjects by using geospatial media. This action research conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Metro in the second semester of academic year 2011-2012, Grade 12 IPS 1 with of 17 learners. The data was collected through observation by collaborators, with observation instruments. The instrument that used are observation and assessment for observing the activity of the learner. Meanwhile the instruments aim to observing the teacher’s ability in making plan and implementing in the teaching and learning processs. Activities and achievements of learners from cycle 1 to cycle 3 showed good progress. Learners activities were indicated from observations on the learning process, that leads to positive change in cycle 3, where there is no more passive learners. All learners did activities that support the learning process, and could utilize geospatial media by using netbooks and mobile phones. For the achievement of learners showed by good improvement. The researchers stop the action research, and can be concluded that the use of geospatial media can enhance the activity and the learning achievement of students geographic subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Metro.Keywords: geospatial media, activities, achievements

Abstract

The aim of this developmental study is to produce an entrepreneurship textbook for students which is attractive and fit for use in learning, and to determine the effectiveness of textbooks in improving learning outcomes. Design and development of procedures to follow step of development by Dick and Carey. The results of developmental research can be concluded that the average learning outcomes in the experimental class taught using the textbook development results higher than the average classroom learning outcomes learning control by not using products of development. Completeness results of an experimental class classical study 65%, while the control class mastery learning classical 65%.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan buku ajar kewirausahaan untuk siswa yang menarik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas buku ajar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Desain dan prosedur pengembangan mengikuti langkah-langkah pengembangan Dick dan Carey. Hasil penelitian pengembangan dapat disimpulkan rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen yang belajar dengan menggunakan buku ajar hasil pengembangan lebih tinggi dari rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol yang belajar dengan tidak menggunakan produk hasil pengembangan. Ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal kelas eksperimen 65%, sedangkan kelas kontrol ketuntasan belajar klasikal 65%.Kata kunci: buku ajar, kewirausahaan, pengembangan

Abstract

Relies on the standard set forth in PP number 19 year 2005 chapter 1 verse 6, teaching social studies in SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa be qualified national standards relating to the implementation of learning in the educational unit to achieve competency standards. IPS Learning at SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa District Pringsewu still learning to implement a single method ekspository the cycle; explain, give examples, ask questions and provide in the classical task. With this method, the teacher trouble to serve various needs and demands of students in learning and difficulty pushing underachieving students to improve achievement learning. The purpose of this study was carried out to find out who has been teaching social studies carried out in the SMP 2 Ambarawa and find the ideal form of learning IPS itself. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were teachers, students, vice principal of curriculum and IPS SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa Pringsewu District. Instrument data collectors using your observation, interview and documentation. Analysis of data using the Interactive Analysis Model of Milles and Huberman, through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.Results showed teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Ambarawa have analyzed a variety of learning materials to be integrated by topic / theme. Learning model that becomes a mainstay in learning IPS in SMP 2 Ambarawa is a think pair share (TPS), as in the approach the topic / theme for this model students will not only understand the material given, but also provides the opportunity for students to analyze reality in daily life think-day stage, and the most important is learning students to cooperation and solidarity to share the stage in the learning model. IPS learning model that must be implemented by the social studies teacher at SMPN 2 Ambarawa are learning model that promotes the achievement of learning objectives and establish IPS is instilling social skills in students. IPS learning objectives can be achieved with various models of cooperative learning, cooperative learning, but most importantly in the IPS should be oriented learning materials, instilling the values of teamwork, an evaluation (test / quiz), and a group award. Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain how to guide nationalism feeling by using VCT learning method. The technique of this research is classroom action research. There are four steps in classroom action research, they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. Technique of collecting the data is using observation and test. Observation contains of guiding nationalism feeling and PKG and test as a measurement tools for the materials. The result of this research shows that guiding nationalism feeling using value clarification technique (VCT) learning method can improve mastering lesson for student in teaching and learning process. Based on the result of this research it can be concluded that guiding nationalism feeling by value clarification technique (VCT) learning method for student in teaching and learning process can improve the mastering lesson for student in learning PKn subject.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pembinaan rasa nasionalisme dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran value clarification technique (VCT). Jenis penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan.Langkah-langkah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian terdiri dari pembinaan rasa nasionalisme dan kinerja guru dan tes sebagai alat pengukur penguasaan materi pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan rasa nasionalisme dengan menggunakan  model pembelajaran value clarification technique (VCT) pada siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembinaan rasa nasionalisme dengan menggunakan  model pembelajaran value clarification technique (VCT) pada siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan penguasaan materi siswa terhadap pembelajaran PKn.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model pembelajaran value clarification technique, pembinaan rasa nasionalisme

Abstract

The purposes from this research are 1) For analysis  gross domestic regional product (GDRP) with work opportunity in South Sumatera Province, 2) For analysis the influence from output ratio in agriculture sector with earning distribution in South Sumatera Province. The method in this research is history study. The data are collected in a kind of secondary data that are collected in the time series  type in 21 years, since from 1985 until 2005. The influence from GRDP in crop of food and horticulture, plantation, forestry, fishery sub-sector have really significant with work opportunity in agriculture sector in South Sumatera Province. The value of Gini Ratio are about 0,25 – 0,30 which is means earning Iameness still in safe boundary. The capital ratio value influences are significant in level test 30 percent with earning distribution.Keywords : GDRP, learning distribution, work opportunity
