Abstract

The purposes of this research were to produce the Connected Model in social studies that can be used as an alternative to improve the learning outcomes of students in junior high, connected model to analyze the effectiveness of testing in social studies. This research method uses Research and Development (RD). Results showed that connected model product development in social studies learning was developed by using the research design development adopted the steps from Dick and Carey instructional design model, and then tested with the results of the development steps by Borg and Gall development research, conducted through 6 stages, namely: making needs analysis, planning or product development, or expert review of the expert validation, product revision, the test is limited, and, so models and reporting. Connected Model in the IPS learning effectively used in teaching social studies.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan Model Connected pada mata pelajaran IPS yang dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP, menganalisis pengujian efektifitas Model Connected pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (RD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan produk model Connected dalam pembelajaran IPS dikembangkan menggunakan model rancangan penelitian pengembangan mengadopsi langkah-langkah Dick and Carey sebagai model desain pembelajaran, kemudian hasil pengembangan diuji cobakan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall, yang dilaksanakan melalui 6 tahap, yaitu: membuat analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan atau pengembangan produk,  validasi ahli atau reviu ahli,  revisi produk, uji terbatas, dan, model jadi dan pelaporan. Model Connected dalam pembelajaran IPS efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS.Kata kunci:  ips, model pembelajaran connected, pendidikan karakter

Abstract

The research purpose to forward any argument increase courage and attitude express towards human Rights in the Case of Citizenship Education Subject matter of human rights especially in the first semester of Grade 7 students at SMP Negeri 2 Banjar Margo Regency Tulang Bawang Academic Year 2011/2012 used the Model Moral Reasoning. This research Classroom Action Research carried out in 3 cycles of action. In this reseach, the data obtained are in the form of students 'learning and students' attitudes courage to express opinions. The instruments used are observation sheets and sheets of observations performance educator, attitude observation, field notes and documentation. The results showing that using Moral Reasoning Model to Increase Courage To put Opinions and Attitudes Toward Taking a human rights case. This indicated by the average percentage of the activity and courage to express opinions and cared students' rights cases in the cycle. The first cycle the percentage of student activity and percentage 55.18% 52.50% student achievement. In the second cycle the percentage of student activity increased to 64.51%. The third cycle, the percentage of student activity increased to 83.33%. Based on the discussion of the research that learning to model Moral Reasoning to improve Courage Opinions and Attitudes toward Taking Case subject Civic Education Human Rights on human rights in particular material on the seventh grade students in semester 1 SMP Negeri 2 Banjar Margo Regency Tulang Bawang Academic Year 2011/2012. Abstract

The aim of research is to describe interest and student result study in civic education through audio-visual media. The type of research is classroom action research which was done at the tenth grade totally 30 students, this research was done in three cycles and each of cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subject of research is teacher as a researcher and all of student tenth grade. In collecting the data it used observation, documentation, and test. After the civics learning had been implemented civics learning through audio-visual media, there is improvement on student’s interest which was shown by improvement of average indicators student study interest (attention, wants, needs, enjoy, curiosity, student active) at good criteria in third cycles and improvement of student result study was shown by score which was gotten by student when they were test which achieved standard minimal criteria at third cycles.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan minat dan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran PKn melalui media audio-visual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada kelas X dengan jumlah 30 siswa, penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sebagai peneliti dan seluruh siswa kelas X. Untuk mengambil data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Setelah diterapkan pembelajaran PKn dengan memanfaatkan media audio-visual terjadi peningkatan minat belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rata-rata persentase pada indikator minat belajar siswa (perhatian, kemauan, kebutuhan, perasaan senang, rasa ingin tahu, dan keaktifan siswa) pada kriteria baik di siklus ketiga dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada saat tes keseluruhan siswa mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum pada siklus ketiga.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media audio-visual, minat belajar, pkn

Abstract

The objective of this research is to fine a media of instructional such as puzzle map Lampung Province to be applied in social studies learning. Approach the used is Researchand and Development (RD). Result so fresearch and development are: Instructional media named puzzlemap Lampung provincein 2013th, Puzzle shapes are applied is jigsaw puzzle, Consists of a mappuzzle piecesdistricts/cities throughout theprovince ofLampung. Map Lampung provincein 2013 can be presented vertically andhorizontally. Mappuzzle according to Jean Piaget's theory of development, materialin the form of map elements and the conditions that existin the map with the coordinates of point accuracy and proper scale. Mappuzzle to be used primarily in the Basic Competency, “Readmapslocal neighborhood (district/city, province) using asimplescale". Instructional mediapuzzle map efefktif over the process and the learning outcomes of usingnormal maps.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa peta puzzle provinsi Lampung untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPS. Hasil dari penelitan pengembangan ini adalah: Media pembelajaran diberi nama media pembelajaran peta puzzle provinsi Lampung tahun 2013. Bentuk puzzle yang diterapkan adalah jigsaw puzzle.Potongan puzzle terdiri atas peta kabupaten/kota yang tersebar di provinsi Lampung dan syarat dan ketentuan yang ada pada peta.  Peta provinsi Lampung tahun 2013 dapat disajikan secara vertikal dan horizontal. Peta puzzle sesuai dengan teori perkembangan Jean Piaget, materi peta berupa unsur-unsur dan syarat-syarat yang ada dalam peta dengan akurasi titik koordinat dan skala yang tepat. Peta puzzle dapat digunakan pada Kompetensi Dasar “Membaca peta lingkungan setempat (kabupaten/kota, provinsi) dengan menggunakan skala sederhana“. Media pembelajaran peta puzzle lebih efefktif terhadap proses dan hasil belajar peserta didik daripada menggunakan peta biasa.Kata kunci: peta puzzle, efektif terhadap proses, hasil belajar

Socio-cultural resilience in the post-reform has not yet revealed the expected positive changes. This is due to the concept of nationalism which is owned by the citizens are experiencing decline and his figure is not clear. Concept of nationalism that is inclusive and departing from the need felt by citizens will be an important basis for progress of the nation into the coming century is the century globalist.The purpose of this study was to describe the effect is material Understanding the Struggle of Indonesian Independence Defend Against Religious Nationalism, Patriotism and Preservation of Cultural Values Nation On High School Students YP Unila Bandar Lampung in Academic Year 2011/2012. Abstract

This research aimed to produce of media pictured chart of Social Studies and to know the extent of effectiveness of media pictured chart in Social Studies learning. The research method used was Research and Development (RD). The design of media development used instructional design steps of Dick and Carey. The result of the development research concluded that, (1) media expert, content expert, teaching-learning expert and students toward the product developed had good criteria, relevant, appropriate, attractive, clear, interesting enough and help the learning process of Social Studies and was stated fit for use; (2) the result of product trial of media pictured chart developed got the conclusion that the average of experimental class learning result used media chart was higher than control class which used conventional media. The result analysis of try out got coefficient score of t count was higher than t table so that media pictured chart learning was stated effective.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa media chart bergambar IPS dan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas media chart bergambar dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD). Desain pengembangan media menggunakan langkah-langkah desain instruksional Dick and Carey. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menyimpukan bahwa, (1) penilaian ahli media, ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran dan peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria baik, relevan, sesuai, menarik, jelas, cukup menarik dan membantu proses pemebalajran IPS dan dinyatakan layak digunakan; (2) hasil uji coba produk media chart bergambar yang dikembangkan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media chart bergambar lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media konvensional. Hasil analisis uji coba diperoleh nilai koefisien t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel sehingga pembelajaran dengan media chart dinyatakan efektif.Kata kunci : media chart bergambar, pembelajaran ips, pengembangan

Abstract

Around the early 19th century, Muslims in Yogyakarta have not really understood what Islam was. This underlying KH. Ahmad Dahlan to do updates in social and educational fields. This research is qualitative research. Data analysis technique is using the Critical Discourse Analysis. The results of research: KH. Ahmad Dahlans thought in the social field is inseparable from one of factors that affect the intellect in the region of the Middle East. Real motion made Ahmad Dahlan, namely: establishing a social organization Muhammadiyah, always invites Muslims perform prayers at the Eidmusalla, changing the direction of the Qibla, as well as care for orphans. KH. Ahmad Dahlans thought in the field of education is inseparable from all outside influence, moved to build Islamic school. Collaboration educational system between the secular education system and education teach religion only. So formed religious school and common knowledge taught and the method of education the pupils asked.Sekitar awal abad ke 19 muslim di Yogyakarta belum benar-benar memahami apa itu Islam. Hal inilah yang mendasari KH. Ahmad Dahlan untuk melakukan pembaruan dalam bidang sosial dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Critical Analysis Discourse. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Pemikiran KH. Ahmad Dahlan dalam bidang sosial dipengaruhi oleh kaum intelek di wilayah Timur Tengah. Gerak nyata yang dilakukan KH. Ahmad Dahlan yaitu: mendirikan organisasi sosial Muhammadiyah, senantiasa mengajak umat muslim melakukan sholat ied di tanah lapang, mengubah arah kiblat, serta menyayangi anak yatim. Pemikiran KH. Ahmad Dahlan dalam bidang pendidikan tidak terlepas pula dari pengaruh luar, Ahmad Dahlan tergerak untuk membangun sekolah Islam. Sistem pendidikan mengkolaborasikan antara sistem pendidikan sekuler dan pendidikan yang hanya mengajarkan agama saja. Sehingga terbentuklah sekolah agama dan pengetahuan umum pun tetap diajarkan menggunakan metode murid bertanya.Kata kunci: kh ahmad dahlan, pemikiran bidang pendidikan, pemikiran bidang sosial

Abstract

Research and development is motivated by text books is difficult to understand its content, and the need for students' social skills. Research for Development aims to produce IPS module-based social skills and to analyze the effectiveness of social skills-based IPS module. This study is a research development (R D) with a modified Borg and Gall withthe development of Dick and Carey module design. The effectiveness of the product obtained using experimental test of pre-test and post-test. Pre-test and post-test were analyzed using test and comparison of normalized gain. The results of this research is the creation of a social skills-based module products. IPS module - based social skill. Obtaining response sappropriate and good for development. The module  effectively demonstrated through test effectiveness by comparing normalized gain value indicatesa higher efficacy with the acquisition value gain of 0.700Keywords: module, IPS, social skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the dimensions of the students character is formed in scouting activaties. This study used a qualitative approach, the case study method. Methods of data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the dimentions of character in the scout can form the attitudes of students: (1) the scouts form the students devotion, (2) the scouts will form the students discipline, (3) the scouts form the students honesty, (4) the scouts will form the students independence, (5) the scouts form the students responsible, (6) the scouts form the courtesy and etiqutte and manners of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui bagaimana dimensi karakter siswa terbentuk dalam kegiatan kepramukaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dimensi karakter dalam kegiatan pramuka dapat membentuk sikap siswa yaitu: (1) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk ketaqwaan siswa, (2) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk kedisiplinan siswa, (3) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk kejujuran siswa, (4) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk kemandirian siswa, (5) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk tanggung jawab siswa, (6) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk sopan santun dan tata krama serta budi pekerti siswa.Kata kunci: karakter, kualitatif, pendidikan kepramukaan

Abstract

Abstract. This was a classroom action research, conducted  to develop students’ self-concept and creativity, strength and weaknesses of teachers and students in learning process. The research result showed that (1)  portfolio learning model can develop students’ self-concept (2) portfolio learning model can develop  students’ creativity. In cycle I, 9 or 27%  of students have high self-concept category and the average score was 68%.  In cycle II showed an increase in which 12 students or 35% of students  have high self-concept category and average score was 74% and the students’ development of self-concept  increased  in cycle III with 27 students or 79%, with average score 77%. The development of  students’ creativity in cycle I was 20 students or 59% with medium category with average score 64%, cycle II showed the growth, that was 24 students or 71% had already got medium  category of creativity and  average score was 67% and cycle III students that got development of creativity were 29 students or 85%, with high  category from entire students in which 34 students with average score 75%. Thus, it can be concluded  that portfolio learning model can develop students self-concept and creativity.Keywords: portfolio learning model, self-concept, creativity
