Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning behavior in learning geography with the type of cooperative learning teams-games-tournaments (TGT).This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Tumijajar Bone Western Onion collaborative and participatory. The subjects in this study were all students of class XI IPS 3 in SMAN 2 Tumijajar totaling 27 students. The object of this research is to improve students' learning behavior in learning geography with type TGT cooperative learning teams-games-tournaments, which consisted of the presentation of the class, group learning, games, tournament, and awards groups. Religious studies is a class XI IPS 3 SMAN 2 Tumijajar Margomulyo village, subdistrict Tumijajar Bone WesternOnion. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings.Results showed changes in students' learning behavior in learning geography by learning models kooperatis TGT type that has been pursued through the planning stages (planning),action (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting) and revision. Results showed that behavioral changes learned at each cycle. Changes in student learningbehavior, (1) attention, active learning, (2) independent in learning, (3) interacting in the classroom, (4) actively participate in learning activities, (5) a relevant answer to thequestion, (6) rapid response to environmental conditions.Keywords: cooperative learning type TGT, improving learning behavior, learning geography

Abstract

The aims of development research are to produce picture media product to social science learning at natural, artificial feature and dividing time in Indonesia. Other aim is to find out the effectiveness of result development product usage at social science learning. This approach is research and development. Test result shown that reality picture media get good scoring by learning expert, and good scoring by learning media expert. At small group test shown good response but media layout is still clear enough. At field test, media result scoring shown good response, and the effectiveness of media usage appear from correlation of between student response and media through study achievement significantly. The conclusion is that the result picture media development is suitable to be use in social science learning at fifth grade of elementary school and effectiveness tested using correlation test contingency, contingency coefficient C count is greater than the value of the product moment (0.6490.349). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa media gambar realita untuk pembelajaran IPS pada materi kenampakan alam, buatan serta pembagian waktu di Indonesia dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan produk hasil pengembangan media tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil uji coba memperoleh penilaian cukup baik oleh ahli pembelajaran dan ahli media. Sedang uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan respon yang baik dan uji coba lapangan menunjukkan respon lebih baik dan  efektif. Kesimpulanya adalah hasil penilaian ahli materi, ahli media dan siswa dinyatakan layak digunakan dan hasil uji coba produk dinyatakan efektif yang diuji dengan kolerasi kontingensi diperoleh koefisien kontingensi C hitung lebih besar dari nilai produk moment (0,6490,349).Kata kunci: gambar realita, media, pembelajaran ips, pengembangan

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the student activity and creativity at entrepreneurship subject, especially conflict management materials. This study is a classroom action research which is conducted into three cycles. The data obtained in this study is student learning and creativity. The results show that by using group discussion method, it is enable to increase activity and creativity of students in identifying the problems. This is indicated by the average percentage of activity and creativity of students in each cycle. Cycle I, the percentage of students’ activity is 60.50%, and student creativity is 61.15%. Cycle II, the percentage of students’ activity grows up to 67.00%, and student creativity gets 68.06%. And for cycle III, the percentage of students’ activity grows up to 76.75%, and student creativity gets 76.27%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan kreativitas pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan khususnya materi mengelola konflik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus tindakan. Dalam penelitian ini data yang diperoleh adalah berupa proses pembelajaran siswa dan kreativitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa dalam mengidentifikasi masalah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata persentase keaktifan dan kreativitas siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Siklus I persentase keaktifan siswa 60,50 % dan kreatifitas memperoleh persentase sebesar 61,15%. Pada siklus II persentase keaktifan siswa naik menjadi 67,00% dan kreatifitas memperoleh persentase sebesar 68,06%. Begitu pula dengan siklus III, persentase keaktifan siswa naik menjadi 76,75% dan kreatifitas memperoleh persentase sebesar 76,27%.Kata kunci : aktivitas, kreativitas, metode diskusi kelompok

Abstract

This research aims to improve the activity and results of student learning in Social Studies by using the process approach skills. The methods used in this research is the Classroom Action Research consisting of three cycles, each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The method of data collection using a written test and observation techniques. The result of this research shows that there is an increase in: (1) learning activities of students, the indicators are achieved at the second cycle as well as on the results of three cycles the better, (2) student learning outcomes, the second cycle the indicators also have reached the next three cycles of increasing and ≥ 75%.Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Tehnik pengumpulan Data menggunakan tehnik observasi dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada: (1) aktivitas belajar siswa, indikator tercapai pada siklus kedua begitupun pada siklus tiga hasilnya semakin baik,  (2) hasil belajar siswa, siklus kedua indikatornya juga sudah tercapai selanjutnya siklus tiga semakin meningkat dan ≥ 75%.     Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, pendekatan keterampilan proses

Abstract

The problem in this study was to determine the differences of STAD cooperative learning methods compared with PBI type of cooperative learning methods in the social studies achievement.  The method used is quasi experiment by giving all treatments on two different classes. Analysis of the data is using a variant of the two lines with factorial design and analysis of effectiveness. The results of the study showed that there is no difference in social studies outcome between the STAD cooperative learning methods with PBI-type method on students, and there is interaction between the learning methods used on the level of achievement motivation of students towards learning outcomes. There is interaction between learning method to the learning outcomes, when considered in the third line is not parallel but intersect the blue line and the green line or cut brown line which states that there is an interaction between the three can be said to be significant.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe PBI dalam pencapaian hasil belajar IPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah ekperimen semu dengan memberikan semua perlakuan pada dua kelas yang berbeda. Analisis data menggunakan varian dua jalur dengan desain factorial dan analisis keefektifan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan ada perbedaan hasil belajar IPS antara metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan  metode tipe PBI pada siswa, dan ada interaksi antara metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dari tingkat motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar. Terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar, bila diperhatikan ketiga garis tersebut tidak sejajar tetapi garis biru bersinggungan atau memotong garis hijau dan garis coklat yang  menyatakan bahwa memang ada interaksi antara ketiganya dapat dikatakan signifikan.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, kooperatif, motivasi, pbi, stad

Abstract

The method used in this research was comparative model with experimental approach and used 2x3 factorial design. The research result showed that: (1) the understanding of law content with the treatment of civic education  integrated  was better with the average 81,51% than civic education  conventional learning model with the average 78,06%, (2) there was the difference of understanding content of law between high discipline manner, average and low, (3) there was an interaction between civic education integrated with traffic education with conventional model and high discipline manner, medium and low toward the understanding of law content, and (4) civic education integrated with traffic education was more effective than conventional learning.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model komparatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen dan menggunakan desain faktorial 2x3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pemahaman isi undang-undang dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran PKn terintegrasi lebih baik dengan rerata 81,51% daripada model pembelajaran PKn konvesional dengan rerata 78,06%, (2) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman isi undang-undang antara sikap disiplin tinggi , sedang dan rendah, (3) ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran PKn terintegrasi pendidikan lalu lintas dengan model konvesional dan antara sikap disiplin tinggi, sedang dan rendah terhadap pemahaman isi undang-undang, dan (4) pembelajaran PKn terintegrasi pendidikan lalu lintas lebih efektif dari pembelajaran konvesional.Kata kunci: undang-undang lalu lintas, model pembelajaran PKn, sikap disiplin

Abstract

The focus of the research is to examine the difference between GI and TGT learning model towards students’ achievement. The problem analyzed in the research is to know the difference between, the learning models and students’ early ability towards their achievement, GI and TGT learning model towards the students’ early achievement with high scores in social studies, GI and TGT learning model towards the students’ early achievement with average scores in social studies, GI and TGT learning model towards the students’ early achievement with low scores in social studies, the interaction between the use of learning models and students’ early ability towards the achievement of social studies for Accounting students class XII. This research uses an experimental approach with a 2 x 3 factorial design. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a difference between using Group Investigations and Teams Games Tournament learning model towards students’ achievement by looking at the students’ early ability.Keyword :  GI learning model, TGT learning model, students early ability.

Abstract

This research aimed to increase the students motivation and learning activity in learning Social Science by using audio visual media. The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research. The research result showed that there was an increase on: students learning motivation, the indicator at reached the second cycle as well as the third cycles, the results are better, student learning activities, the indicator of the second cycle has been reached and increased at the third cycle to be 75%.Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media audio visual. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PTK. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada: motivasi belajar siswa, indikator tercapai pada siklus kedua begitupun pada siklus tiga hasilnya semakin baik, aktivitas belajar siswa, siklus kedua indikatornya juga sudah tercapai selanjutnya siklus tiga semakin meningkat ≥ 75%.Kata kunci: aktivitas, media audio visual, motivasi

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the dynamics of agrarian conflict in the social life of the community at Sendang Ayu and Surabaya village, district of Padang Ratu Lampung Tengah. This study used a qualitative approach with case study methods, the method of collecting data is using interviews. The results of this study indicate that the dynamics of agrarian conflict in the social life of the community at Sendang Ayu and Surabaya village: The dynamics of the conflict occurred since 1970, the conflict led to conflict of open and closed. The cause of the conflict is not in accordance with the land lease agreement early. The companies, commit violence againt the citizens to control the land. The companies, resident of three villages and local government have been several times to negotiate. As a result of the long time conflict that give birth to three effects of social, economic, and environmental impacts.Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika konflik agraria dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat desa Sendang Ayu dan Surabaya Kecamatan Padang Ratu Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dinamika konflik agraria dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat desa Sendang Ayu dan Surabaya yaitu: Dinamika konflik terjadi sejak tahun 1970, konflik melahirkan konflik terbuka dan tertutup. Penyebab konflik yaitu sewa tanah tidak sesuai perjanjian awal. Pemicu terjadinya konflik yaitu perusahaan melakukan cara-cara kekerasan terhadap warga untuk menguasai tanah. Penyelesaian konflik dilakukan antara perusahaan, warga tiga desa dan pemerintah daerah melalui perundingan. Dampak konflik yang berkepanjangan, melahirkan tiga dampak, yaitu dampak sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan.Kata kunci: dampak, dinamika, konflik

Abstract

The correlation of value orientations in the teaching of history to increase critical thinking skills and social sensitivity of students.This is a quantitative research, data collection technique used was a questionnaire scale 4 (four), to obtain data on critical thinking skills and social sensitivity, as well as in the form of essay questions to get the orientation of the value of teaching history. The results conclude that : (1) students’ critical thinking skills provide a positive and significant effect on the value orientation of teaching history at 0.957, (2) social sensitivity gives students a postive and significant effect on the value orientation of teaching history at 0,972, (3) The influence of students critical thinking skills of students’ social sensitivity are positive and significant at 0.965, (4) There is a positive and significant correlation between the orientation of history teaching values with increasing critical thinking skills and social sensitivity of 1,699.Keywords: critical thinking skills, social sensitivity, orientation value in learning history
