Abstract

This research aims to enhance creativity and critical thinking of students in the learning of Social Sciences (IPS) using social inquiry learning model. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. With Social Inquiry models applied in the learning process IPS that emphasizes the process of searching for and finding their own answers to the problems in question in an attempt to understand the subject matter as well as enhancing creativity and critical thinking. Data collection technique is using questionnaires and observation techniques. The results showed an increase in: (1) creativity of student learning, the indicator reached the second cycle as well as the third cycles, which the result is better, (2) How critical thinking of students in the second cycle of the indicator has been reached in the third cycles of increasing and 75%.Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kreatifitas dan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri sosial.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Dengan model Inkuiri Sosial yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran IPS yang menekankan pada proses mencari dan menemukan sendiri jawaban atas suatu masalah yang dipertanyakan sebagai upaya memahami materi pelajaran serta meningkatkan kreativitas dan berpikir kritis.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada : (1) kreatifitas belajar siswa, indikator tercapai pada siklus kedua begitupun pada siklus tiga hasilnya semakin baik, (2) Cara berfikir kritis peserta didik pada siklus kedua indikatornya juga sudah tercapai selanjutnya siklus tiga semakin meningkat dan 75 %.Kata kunci : berpikir kritis, inkuiri sosial, kreativitas, model pembelajaran

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to construct and implement life skill in entrepreneurship learning in Swadhipa 1 Senior Vocational School in Natar of South Lampung. This was a qualitative research with constructionist approach. The results were that (1) life skill construction in entrepreneurship learning was an integration process of life skill through entrepreneurship learning with a purpose to give learners life ability skills. The life skill constructionistic in entrepreneurship learning was that there were differences of concept understandings with the real applications or the differences between life skill integration process and learning result; (2) the life skill implementation in entrepreneurship learning included: (a) entrepreneurship lesson plans made by teachers did not yet include explicit life skill  into learning aids. However, implicitly all teachers had applied it properly into learning indicators, even though developed activities were still partial and not continuous; (b) learning conduct were still dominated by teachers using lecturing method. Trends in learning processes were stockpiling concepts, not to develop learners’ life skill; and (c) assessments conducted by teacher were merely in cognitive domains, and there were no evaluation instrument developments based on life skill.Keywords: life skill, entrepreneurship, constructionistic

Abstract

The research has the aims to describe the correlation of attitude, motivation and media for learning toward students’ achievement in Economics learning: (1) the correlation of attitude and students’ achievement in learning Economics; (2) the correlation of motivation with students’ achievement in learning Economics; (3) the correlation of media for learning and students’ achievement in learning Economics; (4) the correlation of attitude and motivation with students’ achievement in learning Economics. Research method used in the research is correlation technique. The number of population is 162 students with 117 students as samples. Research data had taken by giving questionaires and tests to the students. Some techniques of data analysis used in the research are linear correlation and partial correlation. The conclusions of the research are: (1) attitude has a correlation with students’ achievement in learning Economics with linear correlation coefficient is 0.328 and partial correlation coefficient is 0.243; (2) motivation has a correlation with students’ achievement in learning Economics with linear correlation coefficient is 0.316 and partial correlation coefficient is 0.246; (3) media for learning has a correlation with students’ achievement in learning Economics with linear correlation coefficient is 0.303 and partial correlation coefficient is 0.226; (4) attitude and motivation have a correlation with students’ achievement in learning Economics with linear correlation coefficient is 0.324 and partial correlation coefficient is 0.238.Keywords: attitudes, motivation, media for learning

Abstract

Development of learning media in drama video audio visual based was done by producing drama video product which can improve student result study, and analyzing study effectiveness has used it. Research approach which was done is Research and Development (R D). Result of research shown that: (1) drama video in learning media which is developed on need assessment result. This product can improve student result study, because students do not fell boring in teaching learning process. (2) Result of social science study at experiment class is better than control class, output ANAVA was gotten score F count (12,403) F table (4,04) by probability score was 0.001 0.05, so the effectiveness of product usage is better than do not use drama video in learning media.Pengembangan media pembelajaran video drama berbasis audio visual dilakukan dengan tujuan menghasilkan produk berupa video drama yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, serta menganalisis keefektifan belajar setelah penggunaan produk tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Research and Development (RD). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Media pembelajaran berupa video drama dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis need assesment. Produk ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, karena siswa tidak merasa bosan dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. (2) Hasil pembelajaran IPS Terpadu pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, output ANAVA diperoleh nilai F hitung (12,403) Ftabel (4,04) dengan nilai probabilitas 0.001 0.05, maka efektifitas penggunaan produk lebih baik daripada tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran video drama.Kata Kunci : Audio visual, IPS Terpadu, Media video drama

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning model of Searching Information Skill (SIS), to know the effectivitiveness of Searching Information Skill (SIS) model.  This developing research used Borg and Gall model with five steps or phases. The result of this research showed that; In developing learning model of Searching Information Skill, by adding learning steps in the beginning activity by performing learning video or printed and electronic media as a source of learning besides sources appeared in Learning Implementation Planning (RPP), through material expertise validation, the design expert of Social Studies teacher scoring learning as the user and the students. The model of Searching Information Skill was effectively used in Social Studies learning, and also highest score increase from 82 to 92. Besides, there was also an increase on pretest score from the highest 44 to 92 or an increase of 85%  of  students  who completed on Basic Competency of Understanding Social Institutions.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model pembelajaran Searching Information Skill (SIS), mengetahui efektifitas model Searching Information Skill (SIS). Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall dengan lima langkah atau tahapan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Dalam mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran Searching Information Skill, dengan menambahkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran pada kegiatan awal yaitu dengan penayangan video pembelajaran atau media cetak dan elektronik sebagai sumber belajar selain nara sumber yang tertuang dalam RPP, dengan melalui validasi ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran penilaian guru IPS sebagai pengguna dan siswa. Model pembelajaran Searching Information Skill efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS, serta peningkatan nilai tertinggi dari 82 menjadi 92. Selain itu juga ada peningkatan nilai pretes dari tertinggi 44 menjadi 92 atau peningkatan sebesar 85% siswa yang tuntas pada KD Memahami Pranata Sosial.Kata kunci: pembelajaran IPS, pengembangan model, searching information skill

Abstract

The method used in the research is experiment with design of treatment by level. The sampling technique of the research is cluster random sampling. The hipothesis testing is using the formula of varians analysis in two way test of two independent sample in 0,05 significant rate. The result of the analysis can be concluded there is morality difference between students who are treated with VCT and STAD learning model in social subject, the student with positive attitude to the subject, the students morality who are treated with VCT learning model is better than those are treated with STAD learning model, to the students with negative attitude to the social subject students morality who are treated with STAD learning model is better than those are treated with VCT and there is an interaction between the using of learning model and students attitude in social subject to students morality. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian treatment by level. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis varians dua jalan dan t-test dua sampel independen dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil analisis disimpulkan ada perbedaan moralitas antara siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran VCT dan STAD pada mata pelajaran IPS, pada siswa yang memiliki sikap positif terhadap mata pelajaran IPS, moralitas siswa yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran VCT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD, pada siswa yang memiliki sikap negatif terhadap mata pelajaran IPS, moralitas siswa yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran VCT dan ada interaksi antara pengguaan model pembelajaran dan sikap siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS terhadap moralitas siswa.Kata kunci: moralitas, sikap, stad, vct

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of students 'perceptions about the use of cooperative learning models NHT and students' motivation to learn IPS student creativity. This research method is a correlational descriptive. The results of the study indicate that students 'perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT has a positive influence and significant impact on the formation of students' learning creativity that is equal to 0216 0.211 at the significance level α = 0.05 level. Students' perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT has a positive influence and significant impact on the formation of student motivation is equal to 0.285 0.211 at the significance level α = 0.05 level. Students' perceptions about cooperative learning model NHT and student motivation has a positive influence and significant impact on student learning creativity that is equal to 0.196 0.115 at the significance level α = 0.05 level.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaraan kooperatif tipe NHT dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap kreativitas belajar IPS siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT mempunyai pengaruh positif, erat dan signifikan terhadap pembentukan kreativitas belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 0.216 0.211 atau t-hit t-tabel pada taraf nyata α = 0.05. Persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT mempunyai pengaruh positif, erat dan signifikan terhadap pembentukan motivasi belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 0,285 0.211 atau t-hit t-tabel pada taraf nyata α = 0.05. Persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan motivasi belajar siswa mempunyai pengaruh positif, erat dan signifikan terhadap  kreativitas belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 0.196 0.115 atau f-hit f-tabel pada taraf nyata α = 0.05. Kata kunci : kreativitas, motivasi, nht, pembelajaran kooperatif, persepsi

Abstract

Character education aims to improve quality of implementation and educational result in school which aim on achievement character building and good attitude to student completely, integritevely and equally. The result of research shown: (1) Stakeholder sight ,the character value has not been seen (BT) nationalism, democration, (MT) creative, (MB) curiousity, patriotism, (2) teacher sight, the character value has not been seen (BT) nationalism, democration, (MT) work hard, (MB) honest, social care, (MK) curiousity, patriotism, (3) students sight, the character value has not been seen (BT) nationalism, democration, (MT) creative, (MB) social care, (MK) curiousity, discilpine and (4) student s’parent sight  has not been seen (BT) nationalism, democration (MT), creative, work hard, (MB) honest, social care and (MK) patriotism.Pendidikan karakter bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu penyelenggaraan dan hasil pendidikan di sekolah yang mengarah pada pencapaian pembentukan karakter dan akhlak mulia peserta didik secara utuh, terpadu, dan seimbang. Abstract

The goal of this research is to know using learning with Critical Literacy Perspective model that can form students’ character and can revitalize Pancasila value. This was a classroom action research, that was a study toward classroom learning action which was being upgraded continuously to reach the goal, by using Kemmis and Taggard cycles that contained the plan of observation and  reflection action. The instrument of data collecting used observation toward learning process. The result form of character in Cycle I with score 70, 714, second Cycle reach ed an increase 85,476 and increased became with score 90, 475 in Cycle III; and the revitalization of Pancasila value in cycle I with score 72, 143, in second cycle increased to be 85,714 and in Cycle III increased with score 91,190.Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning model which has critical literacy perspective can form students’ character and can  revitalize Pancasila value.Keywords: PTK,  critical literacy, character, revitalization of pancasila value.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe learning application with customized method that could increase optimize characterized value education. This education was done by using PTK. The research result could be seen from the average score of the class before using customized method whereas the accomplishment were only 15 of 46 students. The increase of average scores of the class arrived to the criteria as 80%. The characterized education by using customized method could the increase of average scores of the class arrived to the criteria expected as 80%. (2) the application of learning by using customized method could cycle 1 until cycle 3, students character like honest, hard work, tolerant, friendly, creative, and communicative, independent, curious and eager to read became increased.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode pembiasaan dapat mengoptimalkan pendidikan nilai karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan PTK. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai kelas sebelum menggunakan metode pembiasaan yang tuntas hanya 15 siswa dari 46 orang. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas telah memenuhi kriteria sebesar 80%. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode pembiasaan dari siklus 1 sampai siklus 3, karakter siswa seperti kejujuran, kerja keras, toleransi, bersahabat, kreatif, toleransi dan kominkatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu dan gemar membaca selalu mengalami peningkatan.Kata kunci : metode pembiasaan, pendidikan geografi, pendidikan karakter
