Abstract

This study aims to produce an Integrated Type of Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on a scientific approach that is feasible to use, practically implemented, and effective to improve social learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students with 10 steps, namely (1) Identifying learning objectives (2 ) Conduct learning analysis (3) Analyze student character and learning context (4) Formulate specific learning objectives (5) Develop assessment instruments (6) Develop teaching strategies (7) Develop and select teaching materials (8) Design and develop formative evaluations (9 ) Revising learning (10) Designing and developing summative evaluations. To reveal the feasibility of LKPD, a validation sheet instrument was used on two validators and individual student trials and small groups. To express practicality, the observation sheet of the implementation of learning and student activation is used in field trials. As well as to reveal the effectiveness of the learning assessment sheet instrument used in field trials.

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe effectiveness of student worksheets based-on scientific approach on factors affecting reaction rate and collision theory to increase science process skills based-on cognitive ability. Samples in this study are students of class XI IPA 4 and students of class XI IPA 1. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with The Matching Only Pretest and Postest Control Group Design. Instruments used were student worksheets based-on scientific approach and conventional, pretest and postest questions. Data analysis techniques used were two path anova test and t-test. The results of this study indicate that student worsksheets based on scientific approach are effective to increase science process skills of high cognitive ability students and low cognitive ability students; the application of student worksheets based-on scientific approach is not affected by students cognitive ability, increased of science process skill high cognitive ability students is not different as significant with low cognitive ability students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas LKS berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi dan teori tumbukan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) ditinjau dari kemampuan kognitif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 4 dan siswa kelas XI IPA 1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experimental dengan The Matching Only Pretest and Postest Control Group Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah LKS berbasis pendekatan saintifik dan konvensional, soal pretes dan postes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji anova dua jalur dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis pendekatan saintifik efektif dalam meningkatkan KPS siswa kemampuan kognitif tinggi dan kognitif rendah; pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis pendekatan saintifik tidak terpengaruh oleh kemampuan kognitif siswa; peningkatan KPS siswa kemampuan kognitif tinggi tidak berbeda secara signifikan dengan siswa kemampuan kognitif rendah.Kata kunci: kemampuan kognitif, KPS, LKS berbasis pendekatan saintifik

Abstract

This research was aimed to develop animation based on molecular simulation on distillation method. This research used Research and Development(RD) methode. The result of this research was animation on mixture separation by distillation method that displaying molecule visualization of mixture separation by distillation methode. Based on preliminary field test result, the response of teachers to the content suitability, attractiveness and aesynees aspects were 88% and 86% respectively, and categorized as very hight. The response of students in attractiveness and easyness aspects was categorized as very hight with percentage of 84%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan animasi berbasis simulasi molekul pada metode destilasi. Metode dari penelitian ini yaitu metode Research and Development (RD). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa animasi pada materi pemisahan campuran dengan metode destilasi yang menampilkan visualisasi molekul pemisahan campuran dengan metode destilasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan awal, guru memberikan tanggapan pada aspek kesesuaian isi, kemenarikan dan kemudahan penggunaan denganmasing-masing persentase sebesar 88% dan 86% yang dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Tanggapan siswa terhadap aspek kemenarikan dan kemudahan penggunaan memilikikategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 84%.Kata kunci : animasi, destilasi, pemisahan campuran, simulasi molekul

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of guided inquiry to improve chemical literacy ability in electrolyte and non electrolyte solution topic. This research used quasi experiment with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The sample was obtained by cluster random sampling technique, and it was obtained sample was students of  X MIA 5 as experiment class and X MIA 4 as control class. The effectiveness of guided inquiry was showed by the significant difference for average n-Gain of chemical literacy ability between the experiment and control class. The results showed that students chemical literacy ability were higher  in the experimental calss compared to the control class. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that effective guided inquiry and has a high effect size to improve the ability of chemical literacy in electrolyte and non electrolyte solution topic.Keywords: guided inquiry, chemical literacy, electrolyte and non electrolyte solutionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi kimia siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas X MIA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Efektivitas inkuiri terbimbing ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan rata-rata n-Gain kemampuan literasi kimia yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan literasi kimia siswa tinggi pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa inkuiri terbimbing efektif dan mempunyai ukuran pengaruh yang besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi kimia siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit.Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, literasi kimia, larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit

Abstract

The research and the development of the acid-base student worksheet based on scientific approach and response of the teachers and students about had been developed. After need analysis and planning, the preliminary study of student worksheet was developed. Then the preliminary field testing was done. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The results showed that suitability aspects of the content, construction, readability, and attractiveness have very high criteria and it was concluded that the student worksheet is very good product.Telah dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) pada materi asam basa berbasis pendekatan ilmiah dan tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan. Setelah tahap analisis kebutuhan dan perencanaan, dilakukan uji coba terbatas terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan. Kemudian melakukan uji coba terbatas. Analisis data menggunakan statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada aspek kesesuaian isi, konstruksi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi dan dapat disimpulkan produk LKS yang dikembangkan sangat baik. Abstract

This research was aimed to develop the experimental tool to determine heat of reaction on the constant volume by using research and development design. Functionality test of tool was done to students in Chemical Education University of Lampung and it was obtaind that all aspect of tool in very high criteria. In other hands, limited test of tool was done in SMAN 1 Sumberejo and it was obtaind that teachers and students responses to experimental tool which has been developed in very high criteria. Based on it, the tool in determing a reaction heat on constant volume was said can be used in learning process properly.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat praktikum yang digunakan dalam penentuan kalor reaksi pada volume tetap dengan menggunakan desain penelitian research and development. Uji keberfungsian alat dilakukan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia Unila dan uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Sumberejo. Hasil uji pada keberfungsian alat, tanggapan guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa alat yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat penentuan kalor reaksi volume tetap layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: alat praktikum, kalor reaksi, volume tetap

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe fluency thinking skill in acid base  matter by using guided inquiry model learning for high, intermediate and low groups of student.  The subject were students of class XI IPA SMA Swadhipa Natar.  This research used the pre-experimental method, a one-shot case studydesign, and data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of analysis learning acid-base matter by using guided inquiry model learning showed that fluency thinking skill in the high level group 42,86% were excellent, and 57,14% were good; intermediate level group, 12,5% were excellent, 68,75% were good, 12,5% were enough, and 6,25% were less; low level group, 44,44% were good, 40% were enough, and 11,11% were less. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir lancar pada materi asam-basa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah.  Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA  SMA Swadhipa Natar.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen, desain one shot case study, dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian analisis pembelajaran materi asam-basa dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir lancar pada kelompok tinggi 42,86% berkriteria sangat baik, dan 57,14% berkriteria baik; kelompok sedang, 12,5% berkriteria sangat baik, 68,75% berkrikeria baik, 12,5% berkriteria cukup, dan 6,25% berkriteria kurang; kelompok rendah, 44,44% berkriteria sangat baik, 44,44% berkriteria baik, dan 11,11% berkriteria cukup. Kata kunci: asam-basa, inkuiri terbimbing, kelompok kognitif, kemampuan berpikir lancar.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an e-book basedon multiple representations in classification of matter topic; to describe thecharacteristics of it, the teachers and students responses, the supporting factorsand constraints that encountered during the research. This research used RD method that was done until limited testing. Teachers responses to the contentssuitability and graphically aspect of the product were very good which thepercentage were 92.00% and 92.50%, respectively. Students reponses to the readibility aspects of the product were very good which the percentage was 85.00%. Constraints faced during the development of e-book were the lack oflaptop or computer during limited testing, so students only read the e-book on projector screen.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkane-book berbasis multipel representasi pada bahasan klasifikasi materi dan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik e-book berbasis multipel representasi pada bahasanklasifikasi materi, tanggapan guru dan siswa, faktor-faktor pendukung, dankendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode RD yang dilakukan sampai pada tahap revisi uji coba terbatas. Tanggapan guru pada aspek kesesuaian isi dan aspek grafika sangat baik dengan persentase masing-masing 92,00% dan 92,50% secara berurutan. Tanggapansiswa pada aspek keterbacaan juga sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 85,00%.Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan e-book ini adalah kurangnya laptopatau komputer saat uji coba terbatas, sehingga siswa hanya membaca e-book padalayar proyektor.Kata kunci: e-book, klasifikasi materi, multipel representasi

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the learning model of problem solving in reaction rate concept to improving asking and answering question skill which includes the answering question and cite the example skill.  The effectiveness of the learning model of problem solving in this research indicated the presence of n-Gain difference significant between the control and a experiment class.  The population this research is all students of class XI Science SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2012-2013 which amounts to 200 students and scattered in five classe.  The research sample that is class XI IPA1 dan XI IPA3 which has almost the same characteristics.  This research use quasi-experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design.  The results showed the average value of n-Gain of asking and answering question skill 0.54 and 0.63.  Based on the data analysis, it is known that learning the problem solving is effective in improving asking and answering question skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving pada materi laju reaksi dalam meningkatkan  keterampilan bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan yang meliputi keterampilan menjawab pertanyaan dan menyebutkan contoh.  Efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving pada penelitian ini ditunjukan adanya perbedaan n-gain yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012-2013 yang berjumlah  200 siswa dan tersebar dalam lima kelas.  Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA3 yang memiliki karakteristik hampir sama.  Pene­litian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata n-Gain keterampilan bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan yaitu 0,54 dan 0,63. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, diketahui bahwa pembelajaran problem solving efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan.Kata kunci:  keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan menjawab pertanyaan, pembelajaran problem solving.
