Abstract

The objectives of this development research were to create science lesson plan with divinity and loving environment value contents, and to describe the effectiveness of the developed product. The development procedure used research and development methods containing of the need of analysis, the initial product development, the expert test, revision, and field test. The result product of this research study is in the form of science lesson plan with divinity and loving environment value contents that had been validated. The product had been evidented as effective based on result of students’ learning that had fulfilled KKM at the VII.8 class of SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan serta mendeskripsikan efektivitas produk yang dikembangkan. Prosedur pengembangan menggunakan metode research and development, yang terdiri atas analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, uji ahli, revisi, dan uji lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk berupa RPP sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan yang telah divalidasi. Produk dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa yang memenuhi KKM pada kelas VII.8 SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine: (1) the influence of the metacognition skills of students are learning physics IPA by using discovery method; (2) the influence of the motivation learning of students are learning physics IPA by using discovery method; (3) the influence of the metacognition skills and motivation learning of students are learning physics IPA by using discovery method. The population is all of students in class VIII SMPN8 Bandar Lampung. The sample are students of class VIIIB amount 39 students. The sample class is selected by purposive sampling. Design of this research is one-shot case study. The results are: (1) there are influence of the metacognition skills of students are learning physics IPA by using discovery method and it contributed 15%; (2) there are influence of the motivation learning of students are learning physics IPA by using discovery method and it contributed 27%; (3) there are The influence of the metacognition skills and motivation learning of students are learning physics IPA by using discovery method and it contributed 32%.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, metakognisi, metode discovery, motivasi

Abstract

The aims of this research were to know the improvement of students cognitive result pre and post of the scientific approach implementation with School E-Book and to know the relation between sudents' attitudes towards students cognitive result in learning used scientific approach with School E-Book. This research was conducted at MTS Al-Mubarok Uman Agung, Bandar Mataram, Central Lampung. The samples of the research were students of class VII, which has taken by using saturated sampling technique. The cognitive result data in this research were obtained by the observation. The result of this research showed that the improvement of the significant cognitive result pre and post of the scientific approach with School E-Book implementation, is 29,46. Beside that, there are positive and significant relation both of students’ attitudes and students cognitive result in learning used scientific approach with School E-Book that is showed by pearson correlation value is 0,48 or in medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan scientific approach dengan bantuan BSE, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aktivitas terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan scientific approach dengan bantuan BSE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Mubarok Uman Agung, Bandar Mataram, Lampung Tengah. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang diambil dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data hasil belajar pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara memberikan pretest-posttest dan data aktivitas diperoleh dari pengamatan oleh observer. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan scientific approach dengan bantuan BSE, yaitu sebesar 29,46. Selain itu juga terdapat juga hubungan yang positif dan signifikan, antara aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran scientific approach dengan bantuan BSE, dengan diperoleh pearson correlation sebesar 0,48 atau kategori sedang.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, pembelajaran dengan BSE, scientific approach

Abstract

Module is very important to be in the school, where the module can appear many form material, it can be called a module-based multi representation. The purpose of this study is to produce a multi representation module with thermodynamic material intended for students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar. Module multi representation as a learning medium that can be used independently by students. After doing the trial test, was understood that multi representation can help the students to understand better about termodinamics. Multi representation has functions as establishment and supplement that match with the characteristic of module for students, such as user friendly and self instructional. As result for interest test it can be concluded that module multi representations of thermodynamics materials has interesting quality, easy, and rewarding. In addition, the effectiveness of the test results stated this module effectively used as a medium of learning.Sangat penting di sekolah tersedia modul yang menampilkan materi dalam banyak bentuk yang disebut modul berbasis multi representasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modul multi representasi dengan materi termodinamika yang ditujukan kepada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tumijajar. Modul multi representasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan secara mandiri oleh siswa. Setelah dilakukan uji coba diketahui multi representasi membantu siswa dalam memahami materi termodinamika. Multi representasi berfungsi sebagai pembangun dan pelengkap pemahaman yang sesuai dengan karakteristik modul yaitu: user friendly dan Self Instructional. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba kemenarikan dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul multi representasi materi termodinamika memiliki kualitas menarik, memudahkan, dan bermanfaat. Selain itu, dari hasil uji efektivitas menyatakan modul ini efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: modul, multi representasi, termodinamika

Abstract

The goals of this research were to describe the cognitive learning outcomes, the science process skills (SPS), the character, the activities, and students’ attitudes toward the use of media ICT tutorial as a subtitute experiment. The research has been done in the first semester of 2013/2014 in SMP Negeri 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. The sample of this research was 24 students class of VIIC in SMP Negeri 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. The researcher concludes by the use of media ICT tutorial as subtitute experiment that the differences in cognitive learning outcomes, can bring up SPS, to build character, to increase the activity of students, and to foster positive attitudes of students toward the use of ICT media tutorial as a subtitute experiment in the learning measuring instruments.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, keterampilan proses sains (KPS), karakter, aktivitas, dan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai subtitute eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Negeri 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa kelas VIIC SMPN 5 Tulang Bawang Tengah. Kesimpulan penelitian setelah pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai subtitute eksperimen terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah kognitif berdasarkan nilai pretest dan posttest, memunculkan KPS, membentuk karakter, meningkatkan aktivitas, siswa serta menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai subtitute eksperimen dalam pembelajaran alat ukur.Kata kunci: aktivitas siswa, karakter siswa, keterampilan proses sains, media tik tutorial, subtitute eksperimen.

Abstract

Science process skills are one of important factor in improving students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the average difference in learning outcomes of cognitive and psychomotor aspects of the students in learning physics on the use of approach with inquiry experimental method and verification experiment. The learning outcomes of cognitive aspects were measured by pretest and posttest results, while for the psychomotor aspects were measured by the achievement of the skill aspects. The technique used in data analysis was N-gain while the hypothesis testing used Independent Sample t-Test. Based on the average scores of N-gain average, cognitive aspects of student learning outcomes in the first experimental class was 0.52 and the second experimental class was 0.33. These results indicate that the science process skill approach with experimental inquiry method is more effective to be applied to improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of learning. In the psychomotor aspect, the average value of inquiry experimental class was 73.77 and 70.03 for verification experiment. Furthermore, there is no difference in the average results of the psychomotor aspects of student learning through inquiry and verification experimental method based on science process skill.Keywords: science process skills, experimental inquiry, experimentalverification, learning outcomes

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to find out: 1) the influence of science process skill (or KPS) to student’s physic learning results through experiment method with guided inquiry approach; 2) experiment method effectiveness with guided inquiry approach in training/developing student’s science process skill indicated by unimproved student’s learning results. This was a quasi experiment and conducted in State Senior High School 1 in Punduh Pidada in Pesawaran regency. Population was all students of grade X in State Senior High School 1 in Punduh Pidada. Samples were students in classroom X1 and were selected with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected with test method and non test method (observation) by using pretest and posttest learning results and observation sheets of science process skill. This research used simple linier regression test and t-test for analysis, where the requirement test used normality and linearity tests. The results showed that t-count was higher than t-table (4.169 2.035), so that Ho that stated that there was no any influence between science process skills to the student’s physic learning results through experiment method with guided inquiry approach was rejected. It meant that there was a significant influence of science process skill to student’s physic learning results through experiment method with guided inquiry approach. R Square analysis derived a very significant influence (36.7%). In addition, experiment method with guided inquiry approach was very effective in training/developing science process skill as well as improving student’s learning results (cognitive domain). The proof was 79% improvement percentage of average student’s learning results.Keywords: science process skill, experiment method, and guided inquiry

Abstract

Observation results showed that SMPTN 15 TKBM Bandar Lampung didn’t have the tool because of fund limit. On the other hand, the teacher and students really need the demonstrating tool for learning pressure lesson. Therefore, the aim of this developmental research is to produce demonstrating tool using tools and materials from surrounding environment, to know how the demonstrating tool that based on low cost technology for science learning on pressure material with student worksheet, and to know the effectiveness of demonstrating tool learning which was made. The development based on Borg's and Gall’s developmental model which procedures are consisting of ten steps. Expert tests result revealed that the product was appropriate with theory and suitable to be used. The result of main field test and operational field test indicated that demonstrating tool on pressure with guide of lab worksheet were effective to be used as learning media.Observasi menunjukkan bahwa SMPTN 15 TKBM Bandar Lampung belum memiliki alat peraga dikarenakan keterbatasan dana. Sedangkan guru dan siswa sangat memerlukan alat peraga pada pembelajaran materi tekanan. Sehingga, tujuan pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan alat peraga menggunakan alat dan bahan dari lingkungan sekitar, mengetahui bagaimana alat peraga berbasis teknologi murah untuk pembelajaran IPA materi tekanan disertai LKS, dan mengetahui efektivitas alat peraga pembelajaran yang dibuat. Pengembangan mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yang prosedurnya terdiri dari sepuluh langkah. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan produk telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan. Hasil uji lapangan utama dan uji lapangan operasional menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga tekanan beserta LKS panduan praktikum efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: alat peraga, pengembangan, tekanan, teknologi murah.

Abstract

Most of student are not able to relate of thinking to understand the physics. The purpose of this research was to know about the effect of critical thinking disposition toward the result of learning electromagnetic wave through integrated learning model of ARIAS map concept. The population of this research was all student in class X MAN 1 Bandar Lampung in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. The sampling is using cluster random sampling at class X3. This research design is one shot case study. The result of this research is that there is positive and significant effect on the disposition of critical thinking student through integrated learning model of ARIAS map concept. The average value of critical thinking disposition per indicator, namely 80,75 self-confidence, 71,00 inquisitiveness, 65,32 systematicity, 63,75 openmindness and 51,50 truth-seeking. While the average value of result learning students which is 3,23% very high, 51,61% high and 45,16% normal.Sebagian siswa belum mampu mengaitkan pemikiran yang dimiliki untuk memahami materi Fisika yang diberikan guru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh disposisi berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar Gelombang Elektromagnetik siswa melalui model pembelajaran ARIAS terpadu peta konsep. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 1 Bandar Lampung pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas X3. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disposisi berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran ARIAS terpadu peta konsep. Rata-rata nilai disposisi berpikir kritis per indikator, yaitu 80,75 self-confidence, 71,00 inquisitiveness, 65,32 systematicity, 63,75 open-mindedness, dan 51,50 truthseeking. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa, yaitu 3,23% sangat tinggi, 51,61% tinggi, dan 45,16% sedang.Kata kunci: disposisi berpikir kritis, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran ARIAS, peta konsep.

Abstract

Physics is one of the lessons which the students are less preferred because it has a high degree of difficulty, this factor causes the students reluctant to learn physics independently. This condition makes the students' physics learning activities becomes low, and it makes the learning achievement of physics becomes low too. This research was intended to investigate the influence of scaffolding in students' learning activities on their learning achievement by using guided discovery model. The research was conducted in X8 class of Al-Azhar 3 Senior High School Bandar Lampung, which consisted of 35 students. The sample class was chosen by using purposive sampling. This research design was one-shot case study. In this research, the data were obtained from the students’ learning activities and learning achievement. Furthermore, in order to test the influence, it was done by using correlation and simple linear regression. The results of research showed that there was influence of scaffolding in the students’ learning activities on their learning achievement by using guided discovery model which was 30%.Fisika merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang kurang disukai siswa karena dianggap memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang tinggi, faktor inilah yang menyebabkan siswa enggan belajar fisika secara mandiri. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya aktivitas belajar fisika siswa, dan menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa menjadi rendah juga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh scaffolding pada aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan model penemuan terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X8 SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Pemilihan kelas sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Pada penelitian ini, diperoleh data aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar. Selanjutnya untuk menguji pengaruh dilakukan dengan uji korelasi dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh scaffolding pada aktivitas siswa menggunakan model penemuan terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 30%.Kata kunci: scaffolding, aktivitas belajar, model penemuan terbimbing, hasil belajar.
