Abstract

Observation data of analysis needs at SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung showed that the students of class X difficulty to understand the material of geometric optics if it is delivered with verbalization and only supported by textbooks, also students need learning media the form interactive multimedia. Considering these issues, the researcher developed a tutorial interactive multimedia. Development method used consists of several steps, namely analyzing needs, formulating goals, formulating material, collate assessment instrument, write a script media, expert validation and revision, testing and revision, final product. The results showed that multimedia assist students in understanding the material of geometric optics. Thus, it can be concluded that has produced a tutorial interactive multimedia in learning of material of geometric optics and has tested in accordance with the theory of attractive quality, very easy to use, and very usable and declared effective as multimedia in learning.Data hasil observasi analisis kebutuhan di SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa sulitnya siswa kelas X memahami materi optika geometri jika disampaikan dengan verbalisasi yang hanya didukung oleh buku paket dan membutuhkan media belajar berupa multimedia interaktif. Mempertimbangkan masalah-masalah tersebut, maka peneliti mengembangkan multimedia interaktif tutorial. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan terdiri dari beberapa langkah, yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan, merumuskan tujuan, merumuskan pokok materi, menyusun instrumen penilaian, menulis naskah media, validasi ahli dan revisi, uji coba dan revisi, produk akhir. Hasil uji menunjukkan multimedia yang dikembangkan membantu siswa dalam memahami materi optika geometri. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah dihasilkan multimedia interaktif tutorial materi optika geometri yang teruji sesuai teori dengan kualitas menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat serta dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai multimedia dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, multimedia interaktif, optika geometri

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to product the student book in science learning divinity and loving environment value contents and find out the effectiveness of product refers to the learning result of the students which in form of attitude, knowledge, and skill. The development model has 7 steps, those are: (1st) requirement analysis; (2nd) resource identification; (3rd) spesific identification of the product; (4th) developing the product; (5th) internal test; (6th) external test and (7th) production. The research has been done for the students grade VII.3 of SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung showed the product is effective as the source of learning process based on the result of assesment from knowledge, skill and attitude that have been proven that students can pass the study and commonly, the profile of the students have a good category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku siswa dalam pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan serta mengetahui efektivitas produk yang dilihat dari hasil belajar mencakup aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan terdiri dari tujuh tahapan, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan; (2) identifikasi sumber daya; (3) identifikasi spesifikasi produk; (4) pengembangan produk; (5) uji internal; (6) uji eksternal dan (7) produksi. Hasil uji coba produk yang ditujukan kepada siswa kelas VII.3 SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa produk efektif digunakan sebagai sumber belajar berdasarkan hasil penilaian pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap yang menyatakan bahwa siswa tuntas belajar dan secara umum profil siswa berada dalam kategori baik. Abstract

The objective of physic learning as a process is to improve student’s thinking ability. To achieve student’s thinking skill in learning, a method and learning source are needed to develop student’s thinking skill. The use of learning source based on science generic skill (or KGS) is very needed in Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s First Law materials, because in these materials students are able to conduct generic skills such as direct observation, indirect observation, awareness about scale, mathematic modeling, and logical inference. These skills are able to apply by conducting a practicum using student’s work sheet (or LKS) based on science generic skill (or KGS) that is able to develop student’s thinking skill in Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s First Law materials. This development research used development model adapted from Suyanto with the following stages: 1) need assessment, 2) resource identification, 3) product specification identification, 4) product development, 5) internal test, 6) external test, and 7) production. Based on the test field results conducted with one-shot case study design, the conclusions were that the Ohm’s Law student’s work sheet was not effective to be used as a learning source with the student’s passing percentage of 74.2% and the student’s work sheet of Kirchoff’s First Law was effective to be used as a learning source with the student accomplishment percentage of 83.3%. Achieved indicators of science generic skill (KGS) in Ohm’s Law student’s work sheet were direct observation (98.4%), indirect observation (75.8%), and awareness about scale (100%). Indicators of mathematic modeling and logical inference were not achieved in Ohm’s Law student’s work sheet with percentages of 68.5% and 64.54% respectively. Achieved indicators of science generic skill in student’s work sheet of Kircoff’s First Law were indirect observation (93.3%), awareness about scale (97.5%), and logical inference (76.6%). Mathematic modeling was not achieved in student’s work sheet of Kirchoff’s First Law with 71.6% percentage. Results of attraction and ease questionnaires were 3.07 and 3.26 respectively and they belonged to attracting and very easy criteria.Keywords: Development, LKS, KGS.

Abstract

The result of observation data in SMP 1 Mutiara Natar, showed that teachers were still difficult to explain abstract materials of Solar System subject, it is because unavailability of video learning media. This research used a modification method from Sadiman as the reference. Final product from this research was an interactive video media of physic learning package with remote control containing modified materials from Education TV broadcast, problems for exercise, problems for learning groups, and material for mastering test to find out students’ response. The results of media expert analysis showed that the media was in accordance with theories and proper to use for a learning package. One-on-one test results showed that students were able to learn the media properly. The field test (in small groups) showed that the media was very attractive, easy to use, useful, and effective as the solar system learning package.Berdasarkan data hasil observasi di SMP 1 Mutiara Natar, untuk materi tata surya guru masih merasa kesulitan menjelaskan materi yang abstrak karena belum tersedianya media pembelajaran berupa video. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memodifikasi dari Sadiman sebagai acuan. Produk akhir yang dihasilkan adalah paket pembelajaran fisika berupa video interaktif dengan pengendali jarak jauh, berisi materi yang dimodifikasi dari siaran TV Edukasi, soal latihan, soal kelompok serta uji penguasaan materi untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Dari hasil uji ahli media yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan sebagai paket pembelajaran. Hasil uji satu lawan satu memperlihatkan bahwa siswa dapat mempelajari media dengan baik. Hasil uji lapangan (kelompok kecil) menunjukkan kualitas media sangat menarik, mudah digunakan, dan bermanfaat, sebagai paket pembelajaran tata surya.Kata kunci: paket pembelajaran, penelitian dan pengembangan, sistem tata surya, video interaktif

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: to determine the increasing of cognitive learning outcomes of students, to build the students Science Process Skills, to create character of students, to build activity, to build the attitudes of students toward the use of ICT media as a supplement tutorial demonstration on measuring instruments . This research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014 at the Junior High School 1 Pesisir Selatan, West Lampung. The population of this research was every students of class VII and the sample was class VII A of 26 students. The research design used is a One-Shot Case Study. The results is that by using the tutorial ICT media as a supplement to demonstrate on measuring instruments learning there is an increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students, to build KPS students, to create the character of the students, to build the activities of the students, and to build a positive attitudes of the students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui pertambahan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, membangun KPS, menciptakan karakter, membangun aktivitas, membangun sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK Tutorial sebagai suplemen demonstrasi pada alat ukur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di semester ganjil pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Negeri 1 Pesisir Selatan, Lampung Barat. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII sedangkan sampel yaitu kelas VII A dengan jumlah 26 siswa. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan memilih 1 kelas secara random dari 4 kelas yang ada. Hasil penelitian menggunakan media TIK tutorial sebagai suplemen demonstrasi pada pembelajaran alat ukur terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa, dapat membangun KPS siswa, dapat menciptakan karakter siswa, dapat membangun aktivitas siswa, dan dapat membangun sikap positif siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, karakter, keterampilan proses sains, media, ranah kognitif, sikap

Abstract

In general, students still feel that physics is a subject that is considered difficult, indirectly it will hinder the development of students' metacognitive. Resulting in low motivation and learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effect of metacognitive skills on motivation and learning outcomes using the model of PBL. research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest. Results of this study indicate that there are significant metacognitive skills on motivation to learn by 22%. In addition the results showed there are significant metacognitive skills on learning outcomes by 27%.Pada umumnya siswa masih merasa bahwa pelajaran fisika merupakan mata pelajaran yang dianggap sulit, secara tidak langsung ini akan menghambat perkembangan metakognitif siswa. Sehingga mengakibatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan metakognitif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model PBL. desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognitif terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 22%. Selain itu hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognitif terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 27%.Kata kunci: keterampilan metakognitif, model problem based learning (PBL), hasil belajar, motivasi belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: to determine an increase in cognitive learning outcomes, to grow the students science process skills, to form students character, to improve students activities, and to grow positive attitudes of students after they use of simulation ICT media as a substitute experiments on learning measuring instruments. The research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014 in junior high school Muhammadiyah Pringsewu. The research used purposive sampling technique, select one class from all over the existing class VII. Sample of research was 25 students of class VII 1. The research design is used an One-Shot Case Study. Based on the results of a study using simulation ICT media as a substitute experiments on measuring instruments learning increased cognitive learning outcomes of students, can grow science process skill of students, form the character of students, to improve students activities, and to grow a positive attitude of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, menumbuhkan KPS, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas, dan menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa setelah pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai substitute eksperimen pada pembelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu, Kabupaten Pringsewu. Penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga dipilih satu kelas dari seluruh kelas VII yang ada. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa dari kelas VII 1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian memanfaatkan media TIK simulasi sebagai substitute eksperimen pada pembelajaran alat ukur diketahui terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa, dapat menumbuhkan KPS siswa, dapat membentuk karakter siswa, dapat mengembangkan aktivitas siswa, dan dapat menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, karakter, keterampilan proses sains, media TIK simulasi, substitute eksperimen

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the comparison of students’ natural science learning results in heat material using problem based learning and inquiry based learning, and to find out the highest learning results amongst problem based learning and inquiry based learning.This is a quasi experiment research with one-group pretest-post test design. Samples were 61 students in grade VII of classroom VIIA and VIIB in State Junior High School 22 in Bandar Lampung. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained from learning results of student’s post test. Data were analyzed using data normality test, estimating score N-gain, and dependent sample t-test.The results conclude that there is an improvement of average of students’ learning results by using problem based learning and inquiry based learning. The students learning results in problem based learning is higher than in inquiry based learning. The abilities of students having problem based learning are better than those who have inquiry based learning.Key words: Learning model problem based learning and guided inquiry

Abstract

Student learning outcomes can be improved applying a learning model ARIAS and Scientific Inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle. This study aims to: (1) know the difference between average yield learnng physics students taught using inquiry learning model ARIAS with Scientific Techniques Pictorial Riddle, (2) determine average physics student learning outcomes are higher among ARIAS learning model with Scientific inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle. This research has been carried out in second semester of school year 2012/2013 in SMAN 13 Bandarlampung and the sample class XI IPA2 and XI IPA1 totaling 80 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The design is One-Shot Case Study. Learning outcomes data obtained from average achievement test. Data were analyzed using independent sample t test. The results of analysis of data with an average value of learning outcomes in the classroom ARIAS at 64.39 while Pictorial Technique of Scientific Inquiry class Riddle of 74.91. Thus be concluded: (1) There is difference between average yield learning physics students taught using inquiry learning model ARIAS with Scientific Techniques Pictorial Riddle, (2) Average yield learning physics students taught using learning model ARIAS lower than average learning outcomes of students who were taught physics model Pictorial Riddle Engineering Scientific Inquiry.Key words: ARIAS, Scientific Inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to understand the increasing of cognitive learning outcomes of students, to build the science process skills of students, to form the character of students, to improve the activities of students and to build the positive attitudes of students that use tutorial ICT media as the experimental complement in measuriment learning.The research has been done in the first semester of academic year 2013/2014 in SMP negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya, Central Lampung. The population of the research was the students of the VII class and the sample of the research was VII C. This research used random sampling technique to choose the sample . The result was able to increase the cognitive learning outcome of students, built the science process skills of students, form the character of students, improve the activities of students and to built the positive attitudes of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, menumbuhkan KPS, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas, dan menumbuhkan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai komplemen eksperimen pada pembelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian berlangsung pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kelas VIIC. Pemilihan kelas secara random.
