Abstract

Physics is impressed as the one of difficult subject by the students. This wrong Impression makes the students do not like physics and makes them get low scores in result of learning. Research aimed, to see the effects of scaffolding in Multirepresentative problem solving on Physics Toward The Students’ Result of Learning Physics in Senior High School. The sample of this research is all of the students in first grade of IPA1 at Senior High School Number 1 Adiluwih Kab. Pringsewu in odd semester which consists of 24 students in year 2013/2014. The percentage of the mean in students’ scaffolding is 64,11% with high category. Meanwhile, the mean of the students’scores is 66,56 with high category. So, big influence of scaffolding in multirepresentative problem solving on physics is 29,1%, high scaffolding can influence high results of learning physics too.Fisika merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang dianggap siswa sebagai pelajaran yang cukup sulit. Anggapan inilah yang membuat siswa kurang menyukai fisika sehingga hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian, untuk mengetahui pengaruh scaffolding dalam pemecahan masalah fisika berbasis multirepresentasi terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Adiluwih Kab. Pringsewu pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 24 orang. Persentase rata-rata scaffolding siswa adalah sebesar 64,11% dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai belajar siswa adalah sebesar 66,56 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, besar pengaruh scaffolding dalam pemecahan masalah fisika berbasis multirepresentasi sebesar 29,1%, scaffolding yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa yang tinggi pula.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, multirepresentasi, pemecahan masalah, scaffolding.

Abstract

The success in the teaching learning process is influenced by the effectiveness of learning method which is able improve the student’s achievement. The objectives of this research were to find out the improvement of physic achievement between the students who are taught through learning cycle 5E and those who are taught through problem based learning, and to find out the different on the average score in learning physic between the students who are taught through learning cycle 5E and those who are taught through problem based learning. The research design was Non-Equivalent pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students in the class X6 and X9. The samples were selected by using purposive sampling technique. Finally, based on the result, it can be concluded that,(1) There is an improvement of students achievement on the learning cycle 5E method, (2) There is an improvement of students achievement on the problem based learning, (3) There is a difference on the score in learning physic between the students who are thought trough learning cycle 5E and those who are taught through problem based learning.Keyword: Achievement, learning cycle 5E, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Data observations of necessity analysis at SMPN 12 and SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung showed that eighth grade student was difficult to understand material of Light. Teacher needs innovation to explain the material so that student can receptive easier the lesson. Considering these issues, the researchers developed the Student Worksheet. Development method in this research is the necessity analysis, resource identification, identification of product specifications, product development, internal testing, external testing, and production. The results showed that developed media fit for use as a medium of learning. Thus, it can be concluded that has produced a Student Worksheet in learning of material of Light and has tested in accordance with the theory of attractive quality, easy to use, and benefecial, and declared effective use as media in learning.Data hasil observasi analisis kebutuhan di SMPN 12 dan SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa sulitnya siswa kelas VIII memahami materi cahaya. Guru membutuhkan inovasi untuk menjelaskan materi agar siswa lebih mudah menerima pelajaran. Mempertimbangkan masalah-masalah tersebut, maka peneliti mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumberdaya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji internal, uji eksternal, dan produksi. Hasil uji menunjukkan media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah dihasilkan lembar kerja siswa materi cahaya yang teruji sesuai teori dengan kualitas menarik, mudah digunakan, dan bermanfaat serta dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, lembar kerja siswa, cahaya

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out whether there was any difference of students’ average behavior with character in EXCLUSIVE learning models based on inquiry and verification, and to find out which one resulted the highest behavior with character. Population was 192 students of grade VII in SMP Negeri 1 Sekampung of East Lampung sub district. Samples were 64 respondents and taken using purposive sampling. The research design was one-shot case study. The average values of students’ behavior with character in classrooms with EXCLUSIVE learning models based on inquiry and verification were 67.16 and 56.22 respectively, It was concluded that the students’ behavior with character in EXCLUSIVE learning model based on inquiry was higher than based on verification.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah ada perbedaan rata-rata perilaku berkarakter siswa pada model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri dengan verifikasi dan manakah yang lebih tinggi perilaku berkarakternya. Populasinya yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sekampung dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 192 siswa. Sampel berjumlah 64 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan tekhnik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah tipe One-Shot Case Study. Rata-rata hasil perilaku berkarakter siswa pada kelas EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri dan berbasis verifikasi yaitu 67.16 dan 56.22, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku berkarakter pada kelas EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri yang lebih tinggi daripada kelas EXCLUSIVE berbasis verifikasi.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE, metode inkuiri, metode verifikasi, perilaku berkarakter.

Abstract

Physic teachers have used cooperative learning in the learning groups to teach the material. However, student mastery of physic is still relatively low. The cooperative learning is not maximized. It makes the mastering concept of the material becomes low. This study purposes to investigate the influence toward the critical thinking skills of the students' mastery through STAD cooperative learning. This study was conducted in class IXb SMP 5 Bandar Lampung which consists of 35 students in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013 and the material is about Magnetism. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The analysis showed that both data were distributed normal and linear. Furthermore, to examine the effect, the researcher did the correlation test and simple linear regression. The results of this study indicated that there was an influence of critical thinking skills to students' mastery of concepts by STAD cooperative learning. The determination coefficient’s value with the correlation coefficient is 0, 49 which was included in the medium category with the regression equation positif where a and b constants are significant coefficients. Abstract

Some of students did not have performance yet to comprehend physics problem that had been given by the teacher. The research's objective is to recognize the influence of learning performance toward student's learning result through instructional model of creative problem solving (cps) . The population of the research was all of the first grade students in MAN 1 Bandar Lampung, second semester of academic year 2012/2013. The sample was class X 5, which was taken by random sampling method. The design of this research was one group pretest-posttest. The result of research showed that there was positive and significant effect of study performance toward student's learning result through instructional model of creative problem solving (cps).Sebagian siswa belum memiliki kinerja yang dimiliki untuk memahami masalah Fisika yang diberikan guru. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar pada model pembelajaran creative problem solving. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 1 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling, kelas X 5. Penelitian menggunakan desain one group pretest-postest. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kinerja belajar terhadap hasil belajar melalui model pembelajaran crative problem solving.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, kinerja belajar, model pembelajaran CPS.

Abstract

This research is a case study experiment using the class as a sample. Research carried out directly in the learning activities in class VIIIA SMPN 5 Way Kanan. The study were consist of a free variable or metacognition skills, two dependent variables, namely learning outcomes and student interest and the moderator variable is the method of discovery, the design that used in this study is the One-Shot Case Study. The results of the data analysis are the influence of metacognition skills on learning interest significance value 0.357 is greater than 0.05, whereas the effect of metacognition skills against the results obtained 0.012 significance value less than 0.05. The conclusion of this study are (1) there is no influence of metacognitive skills on students' interest in learning physics through discovery learning, (2) there are significant infivence of metacognitive skills on students’ learning achievement in learning physics through discovery.Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus eksperimen dengan menggunakan satu kelas sebagai sampel. Penelitian dilakukan secara langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMPN 5 Negeri Agung Way Kanan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari satu variabel bebas yaitu keterampilan metakognisi, dua variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar dan minat siswa dan satu variabel moderator yaitu metode discovery, desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One-Shot Case Study. Hasil analisis data pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap minat belajar diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,357 lebih besar dari 0,05, sedangkan pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap hasil belajar diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,012 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) tidak terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap minat belajar fisika siswa melalui pembelajaran discovery, (2) terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui pembelajaran discovery.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, keterampilan metakognisi, metode pembelajaran discovery, minat belajar

Abstract

Based on observations and interviews with teachers of science physics, it was known that teachers are less familiarize students to discuss a variety of phenomena in daily life related to the subject matter. The workable solution is to apply the model of problem based learning (PBL). This study aims to determine the effect of metacognition skills toward motivation and the influence of metacognition skill toward the mastery of students learning concept trough PBL model. The research was conducted at SMP N 1 Way Jepara , using one class that is VIIIB class with the sample of 32 students and using one-shot case study design. On this research could be concluded that there are the influence of metacognition skills toward students learning motivation using PBL model by 41 % and there are the influence of metacognition skills towards the mastery of student learning concept using PBL models by 19 %.Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran IPA Fisika, diketahui guru kurang membiasakan siswanya untuk mendiskusikan berbagai fenomena dalam keseharian yang berkaitan dengan materi pelajaran. Adapun solusi yang dapat dilaksanakan yaitu dengan menerapkan model problem based learning (PBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap motivasi dan penguasaan konsep belajar siswa melalui model PBL. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 1 Way Jepara, menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VIIIB dengan jumlah sampel 32 siswa dan menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan model PBLsebesar 41% dan terdapat pengaruh keterampilan metakognisi terhadap penguasaan konsep belajar siswa menggunakan model PBL sebesar 19%.Kata kunci: keterampilan metakognisi, model PBL, motivasi belajar, penguasaan konsep belajar

Abstract

This research has a purpose to (1) identify the influence of hands on activity representation skill towards the Vibration and Wave concept mastery among junior high school students and (2) the improvement of Vibration and Wave concept mastery among junior high school students by using hands on activity representation skill. Based on the research, data gathered in hands on activity representation skill and concept mastery and after that they have been analyzed by using SPSS 17.0 Program. The analysis results showed that the data distributed normally and linearly. The research hypotheses testing used correlation method, simple regression linear and paired t-test sample. The results of the research showed that :(1) there was a positively and linearly significant influence towards concept mastery amounted to 45,70% which was a determination coefficient value. It was gained from correlation coefficient value amounted to 0,676 in strong category and regressive equation where coefficient values a and B were significant coefficients. (2)There is an significantly average improvement in junior high school students’ concept mastery caused by the influence of hands on activity representation skill amounted to 36,37 with N-gain average concept mastery amounted to 0,64 in moderate category.Keywords : hands on activity representation skill and mastery of concept

Abstract

In general, the process of learning physics class who do not teach physics applications and use learning strategies monotonous. causing learning outcomes and low interest in learning physics. when teachers give assignments that force students to repeat the lessons that have been submitted. based on that researchers try to do a study to determine the relationship giving structured tasks on learning outcomes and student interest in learning in class. purpose of this study was to identify the relationship structured task-based learning on learning outcomes of physics, and identify relationships structured task-based learning on student interest. the results of this study are positive and significant relationship between the provision of structured tasks with learning outcomes and student interest.Pada umumnya proses pembelajaran fisika yang dilakukan dikelas tidak mengajarkan aplikasi fisika dan menggunakan strategi belajar yang monoton. Sehingga menyebabkan hasil belajar dan minat belajar fisika rendah. Padahal guru memberikan tugas yang memaksa siswa mengulang kembali pelajaran yang telah disampaikan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti mencoba melakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian tugas terstruktur terhadap hasil belajar dan minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran dikelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifkasi hubungan pembelajaran berbasis tugas tertruktur terhadap hasil belajar dan menidentifikasi hubungan tugas terstruktur terhadap minat belajar sisa. Hasil dari pene;itian ini adalah ada hubungan yang posotif dan signifikan antara pemberian tugas terstruktur dengan hasil belajar dan minat belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, minat belajar, tugas terstruktur
