Abstract

This developmental research was intended to make an interactive instructional media of magnetism based on information and communication technology (ICT) that has an interesting quality, easy to use, very useful and effective. Media contains learning materials, animation, simulation, sound, video, exercises and competency tests. Development procedures are used to modify the design of instructional media development by Sadiman, et al. With the stages of work procedure that comprise needs analysis, setting objectives, subject materials, making a synopsis, script initial, prototype production, evaluation by material expert test dan the design expert test, revision, final script, product trials, and the final program. The result of one on one test and field test have proved media has an very interesting quality, very easy to use, and very useful for students. Field test data shows the students achievement of minimum completeness criteria for post-test results as much as 91.30% of the total students so that the product is effective to be used as an instructional media. Keywords: research and development, interactive instructional media, magnetism

Abstract

Based on observations, teachers still emphasized only on the provision of subject matter, yet the manner in which equip the students with the Science Process Skills (SPS). This was thought to be the cause of low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the effect of SPS on student learning outcomes in Inquiry Training Model (ITM) learning.This study was a quasi-experimental study. Data collection was conducted by using tests and non-test (observation) which used a booklet achievement test (post-test) and SPS observation sheet. The analysis used is the Simple Linear Regression Test.The results showed that t count (6.375) is greater than ttable (2.042). That means there is an effect of SPS on studentslearning outcomes in ITM learning. Based on the calculation, R Square is 57.5%, that is categorized very significant.Berdasarkan observasi, guru masih menekankan pemberian materi pelajaran saja, belum memperhatikan cara membekali siswa dengan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS). Hal ini diduga menjadi penyebab hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh KPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Model Latihan Inkuiri (MLI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan non tes (observasi), yakni menggunakan lembar soal tes hasil belajar (post-test) dan lembar observasi KPS. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa t hitung (6,375) lebih besar dari t tabel (2,042). Itu artinya ada pengaruh KPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Pembelajaran MLI. Berdasarkan perhitungan, R Square diperoleh 57.5%, pengaruhnya sangat signifikan.Kata kunci:hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains,model latihan inkuiri

Abstract

This research development aimed to produce a Free Fall Motion device and LKS that can be used as an media of physics learning.The model was adapted from Sadiman which included phases need analysis, formulate learning objective, materials, develop evaluation instruments, prepare draft of media, validation from expert, experiments, and final product. Results of this study produced the Free Fall Motion device which able to measure the time of falling object automatically, vary the height of falling objects, release the falling objects automatically, and investigate influence of mass toward the time of falling object use sound sensor.The product which was developed had been tested expertly testing design and materials. Results from experiments showed that device used very attractive, easy to use, and very useful. The learning outcomes of students after using the device showed that 100% had reached KKM so that the developed product was highly effective and acceptable to be used as a learning media.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan alat Gerak Jatuh Bebas beserta LKS yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Model pengembangan diadaptasi dari Sadiman yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, butir-butir materi, menyusun instrumen evaluasi, menyusun draft media, validasi ahli, uji coba, dan produk akhir. Hasil penelitian berupa alat Gerak Jatuh Bebas yang mampu mengukur waktu jatuh benda secara otomatis, memvariasikan ketinggian jatuh benda, pelepasan benda jatuh secara otomatis, dan dapat menyelidiki pengaruh massa benda terhadap waktu jatuh dengan memanfaatkan sensor suara. Produk yang dikembangkan telah diuji desain dan materi. Hasil uji coba menyatakan bahwa alat yang digunakan sangat menarik, mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan alat ini 100% mencapai batas KKM sehingga produk yang dikembangkan sangat efektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: alat eksperimen, gerak jatuh bebas, lembar kerja siswa, sensor suara

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the average difference of students’ learning result of EXCLUSIVE model between based on inquiry and verification. The population was 150 Grade VII students of SMPN 3 in Tegineneng in odd semester of academic year 2013/2014. There are 60 samples taken from classroom VIIA and VIIB using purposive sampling. This was research with One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Hypothesis was tested using Independent Sample T-Test. Independent sample t-test result showed that the average value of students’ learning result in classroom using EXCLUSIVE learning model based on inquiry and verification were 86.5 and 8.15 respectively. Value of tcount ttable (3,415 2,042). It suggested that H0 was rejected and the conclusion that there was an average difference of students’ learning result using EXCLUSIVE learning model between inquiry based and verification based.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar menggunakan model EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri dan verifikasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Tegineneng semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014 sebanyak 150 siswa, sampel yang diambil kelas VIIA dan VIIB sebanyak 60 siswa. Pemilihan kelas sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample T Test. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independent Sample T Test didapatkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri adalah 86,5 lebih tinggi dari kelas verifikasi yaitu 81,5. Nilai thitung ttabel (3,415 2,042) maka H0 ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE antara metode inkuiri dengan verifikasi.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE, inkuiri, verifikasi, hasil belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this research to make convertion energy props and LKS. The method of this research was the research and development. The model of development was needed include: the students, the analysis and the characteristic of formularization the purpose of learning, the formularization drafting instrument evaluation, the grain of the matter write the specifications product development, the media in the form of initial products, the validation an expert, the trial of a fieldwork, and the final product in the form of props energy conversion equipped with LKS. The test results showed masterful props in accordance with theory and used as props are worth learning. The field test results had shown the props and LKS effectively had used as media of instruction either independently or in groups. Testing stage one by one and small group, indicates the quality of the props energy conversion: very interesting, very easy to use, and very helpful.Tujuan dari penelitian ini meghasilkan alat konversi energi beserta LKSnya. Metodenya research and development atau penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengembangan alat peraga ini meliputi: analisis kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa, perumusan tujuan pembelajaran, perumusan butir-butir materi, penyusunan instrumen evaluasi, penulisan naskah media berupa spesifikasi pengembangan produk, produk awal, validasi ahli, uji coba lapangan, dan produk akhir berupa alat peraga konversi energi dilengkapi dengan LKS. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan alat peraga sesuai teori dan layak digunakan sebagai alat peraga. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukan alat peraga dan LKS efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran baik secara mandiri atau berkelompok. Uji satu lawan satu dan kelompok kecil menunjukkan kualitas alat peraga konversi energi: sangat menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat.Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, alat peraga dan LKS perubahan energi.

Abstract

Instructional media in particular can serve as a means to provide a visual experience to encourage and motivate students to learn, clarify and simplify the concept and enhance absorption student learning . The purpose of this study is to develop a KIT (sciences box) on the material of simple plane and worksheets that can be used as a single unit by applying experimental and demonstration methods for eighth grade students of SMP Satu Atap 1 Kedondong. Development is done by adapting the model of media development from Suyanto and Sartinem (2009 ) which includes the seven stages of development. After testing the product is obtained that the KIT and worksheets are proper and interesting to use as a medium of learning. This research obtain product in the form of KIT and worksheets by applying the demonstration and experimental mothods.Media pembelajaran secara khusus dapat berfungsi sebagai sarana yang dapat memberikan pengalaman visual kepada siswa untuk mendorong motivasi belajar, mempermudah konsep serta mempertinggi daya serap belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan KIT (Kotak Instrumen Terpadu) pada materi pesawat sederhana beserta LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) yang digunakan sebagai satu kesatuan dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi maupun eksperimen untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Satu Atap 1 Kedondong. Pengembangan ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan media Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan. Setelah dilakukan uji coba produk diperoleh bahwa KIT dan LKS menarik dan bermanfaat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memperoleh produk berupa KIT dan LKS dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi maupun eksperimen.Kata kunci: KIT, LKS , pesawat sederhana

Abstract

The purposes of this study to find out: (1) the influence of the student’s scientific attitude to the learning achievement of students through scaffolding-cooperative strategy; (2) the influence of the student’s scientific attitude to the learning independence of students through scaffolding-cooperative strategy. The population and the sample of this study are all students of XI IPA classroom of Tunas Harapan Bandar Lampung Senior High School in the second semester, and there are 20 students. Sample class is selected by purposive sampling. Design of this study is one-shot case study design. The results of this study are: (1) there is influence of the student’s scientific attitude to the learning achievement of students through scaffolding-cooperative strategy; (2) there is influence of the student’s scientific attitude to the learning independence of students through scaffolding-cooperative strategy. The average percentage of the student’s scientific attitude is 67% with the high category. The average value of the student learning is 66 with the high category. While, the average percentage of the student’s independence is 66% with the high category. Thus, the high of scientific attitude can affect the student’s learning achievement and student’s learning independence.Keyword: scientific attitude, learning achievement, learning independence, scaffolding-cooperative strategy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce multimedia learning for Newton's law of gravity with scientific approach developed in accordance with the criteria of scientific approach in an attractive and effective manner as a learning resource. This research was conducted in SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. This study uses research and development method. Test subjects of this research consist of content experts/ learning materials, design experts, one for one test and small group test. The conclusion of this research is a product in a form of Development of multimedia learning for Newton's laws of gravity with scientific approach that is in accordance with the criteria of scientific approach that are attractive and effective as a learning resource. Multimedia is claimed to be effective used as a learning medium based on the acquisition of learning outcomes of the students in which 78.94 % of the students completed the minimal passing grade criterion.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran Hukum Newton tentang gravitasi dengan pendekatan saintifik yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan criteria pendekatan saintifik secara menarik dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development atau penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek uji coba produk penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri atas uji ahli isi/materi, uji ahli desain pembelajaran, uji satu lawan satu (one for one) dan uji kelompok kecil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dihasilkan produk multimedia pembelajaran Hukum Newton tentang gravitasi dengan pendekatan saintifik sesuai dengan kriteria pendekatan saintifik yang menarik dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar. Multimedia dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai persentase 78,94 % siswa tuntas KKM.Kata kunci: gravitasi, multimedia pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik, pengembangan.

Abstract

This study has a purpose to know: 1) The differences in physics learning outcomes of students’ through cooperative learning GI (Group Investigation) and STAD (Student Teams Achievement of Division) with experimental method. 2) The higher average study result between cooperative learning GI and STAD with experimental method. This study used a quasi experimental design. The instrument to collect data was a test, which consists of 10 questions for 70 students. The results showed: a) There are differences in the study result of students through cooperative learning GI and STAD with experimental method, b)The average study result, which uses cooperative learning GI is more higher than STAD.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) perbedaan hasil belajar fisika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI (Group Investigation) dan STAD (Students Teams Achievement Of Division) dengan metode eksperimen. 2) rata-rata hasil belajar yang lebih baik melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dan STAD dengan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi eksperimental design. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes soal sebanyak 10 soal kepada 70 siswa. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop students book for science learning that contains the value of divinity and environment devotion for junior high school students. The subjects of this research were design and material experts and students of class VII-1 Global Madani Junior High School. Development method was adapted from the development model of learning media by Suyanto and Sartinem (2009) which contains of seven stages of development. The results of feasibility tests by design expert and material expert showed that the design quality of the book was excellent (89%), and the material quality of the book was good enough (56%). Furthermore, from the results of the trial test showed that for the appealing aspect of the students book with very attractive category (3,51), for the easeness aspect with very easy to use category (3,36), and for the usefullness aspect with very usefull category (3,35). The results of the effectiveness test showed that the book was effective for science learning.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku siswa pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan lingkungan bagi siswa SMP. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu ahli desain dan ahli materi serta siswa kelas VII-1 SMP Global Madani. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan media pembelajaran oleh Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli desain dan ahli materi didapatkan bahwa kualitas design buku sangat baik (89%), dan kualitas materi buku cukup baik (56%). Selanjutnya, dari hasil uji coba pemakaian diperoleh bahwa untuk aspek kemenarikan buku siswa dengan kategori sangat menarik (3,51), untuk aspek kemudahan dengan kategori sangat mudah digunakan (3,36) dan untuk aspek kemanfaatan dengan kategori sangat bermanfaat (3,35). Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa buku efektif untuk pembelajaran sains.Kata kunci: buku siswa, nilai kecintaan lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pengembangan.
