Abstract

This research has been done to make a supplement for physics learning about light electromagnetic wave as a particle using virtual laboratory. The population of this research was the second year science-students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. This development is begun by needs analysis, then identification of resource which is the background of this developmental research. The next step is, identifying the product specification then developing products which contained a tutorial book for teacher and a work sheet for student (LKS). The material and design expert test result is that those products were approved. The external test resulted by users show that the LKS was attractive, very easy to use, and useful. It also was effective to be used as a learning resource because 80% of students reached the passing grade.Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengembangkan suplemen pembelajaran fisika gelombang elektromagnetik cahaya sebagai partikel dengan memanfaatkan virtual laboratorium. Populasi penelitian pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. Pengembangan ini diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, kemudian identifikasi sumber daya yang melatar belakangi pengembangan. Langkah selanjutnya identifikasi spesifikasi produk yang dilanjutkan dengan mengembangkan produk berupa LKS untuk siswa dan buku panduan untuk guru. Hasil uji internal oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain menyatakan produk yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji eksternal oleh pengguna menunjukkan kualitas media pembelajaran menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, dan bermanfaat serta efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan presentase hasil belajar sebesar 80% siswa telah memenuhi KKM.Kata kunci: LKS efek fotolistrik, pengembangan suplemen LKS PBL, suplemen pembelajaran efek fotolistrik.

Abstract

Learning activity is a series of physical and mental activity. To obtain a good learning result the physical and mental activity must be coordinated. The better the activities undertaken by the students then students will understand and master the subject matter presented by the teacher, so that students will gain maximum learning results. The aim of this study was to determine the activity and higher student outcomes between classes using authentic assessment models with conventional assessment models. The population in this study were high school students of class VII in Utama 2 Bandar Lampung while the sample is class X1 and X4 semester Utama 2 Bandar Lampung school, sampling was take using Purposive Sampling technique. Variable was consist of two independent variables and two dependent variables, Authentic Assessment, Conventional Assessment, Activity, and Learning Outcomes. Different test using Independent Sample t-Test showed H0 is rejected. The results showed that learning activities for classroom use authentic assessment is higher than the class that uses conventional assessment, while learning outcomes did not show any difference.Aktivitas belajar adalah serangkaian kegiatan fisik dan mental. Untuk memperoleh hasil belajar yang baik maka aktivitas fisik dan mental harus terkoordinasi dengan baik. Semakin baik aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh siswa maka siswa akan semakin memahami dan meguasai materi pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru, sehingga siswa akan memperoleh hasil belajar yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Aktivitas dan hasil siswa yang lebih tinggi antara kelas yang menggunakan model penilaian otentik dengan model penilaian konvensional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di SMA Utama 2 Bandar Lampung sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X4 semester ganjil SMA Utama 2 Bandar Lampung, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Variabel terdiri dari dua variabel bebas dan dua variabel terikat. Uji beda menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test menunjukkan H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan aktivitas belajar untuk kelas yang menggunakan penilaian otentik lebih tinggi dari kelas yang menggunakan penilaian konvensional, sedangkan hasil belajar tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan.Kata kunci: Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar, Penilaian Konvensional, Penilaian Otentik.

Abstract

There is research conducted and development that aims to develop learning tools in the form of value-laden syllabus and lesson plans divinity and love for the environment. Development is done by adopting a model development that consists of a potter needs analysis, initial product development, validation specialists, product revision, and field tests. The study population includes all students of class VII at SMPN 1 Purbolinggo, sample classes VII B and VII C. Thus 59 field tests aimed at students who are divided into 2 classes the school year 2013/2014 field test results that demonstrating the value-laden learning divinity and love of learning environment is effective in 100% of students ,which have completed the test KKM with the overall learning outcomes criteria well.Telah dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa Silabus dan RPP bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan potter yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli, revisi produk, dan uji lapangan. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Purbolinggo, sampel penelitian siswa kelas VII B dan VII C. Uji lapangan ditujukan kepada 59 siswa yang dibagi dalam 2 kelas tahun ajaran 2013/2014 hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran 100 % siswa uji telah tuntas KKM dengan hasil belajar secara keseluruhan berkriteria baik.Kata kunci : nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran.

Abstract

Based on the results of interview done by researchers against the junior high school in Bandar Lampung, is known that many students do not have learning resources such as books for use outside of school hours. It is known that the stu-dent's reason do not have a source of learning is the limited cost and the difficulty in getting it. Taking into account these problems, the researcher developed an electronic books as a learning resource. Electronic books are developed based on multiple representations to matter physics junior high school class VIII. The pur-pose of this development is to make the students more interested in learning and can develop students' understanding of physics concepts. Development's model used in this study was adapted from the model of media development and learn-ing according Suyanto and Sartinem (2009). Development's model includes five procedures product development and product testing, namely: preliminary re-search, creation of script/ design materials, product development, product testing (internal testing and external testing), and the dissemination and implementa-tion. Internal test results indicate that the learning resource has been developed in accordance with the content standards and fit for use as a learning resource for students. External test results showed that the quality of learning resource are very attractive, reaching 96% for attractive level of product and effective used as a learning resource, reaching 82% of students are complete the KKM. So, we can conclude that generated the learning resource such as electronic books based multiple representations that have been tested and fit for use with very attractive qualities and declared effective as a learning resource.Key words : development, electronic books and multiple representations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the cognitive result mean of students who use realia media with students who use computer simulation media. Another purpose of this research is to determine the increasing of cognitive result mean from using each of those media. The results of this research showed that there was an increasing in cognitive result of students who used computer simulation media, the average of normalized gain was increasing 0.36 at medium categorized; There is an increasing in cognitive result of students who used realia media, the average of normalized gain was increasing 0.31 at medium categorized; There is a difference cognitive result mean of students in physics class who used computer simulations media with students who used realia media, 71.92 for the class that used the computer simulations media and 67.37 for the class that used realia media.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan media realia dengan siswa yang menggunakan media simulasi komputer. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari penggunaan masing-masing media. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan media simulasi komputer, dengan rata-rata kenaikan gain ternormalisasi 0,36 yang berkategori sedang; Ada peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan media realia, dengan rata-rata kenaikan gain ternormalisasi 0,31 yang berkategori sedang; Ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif fisika siswa yang menggunakan media simulasi komputer dengan media realia, yaitu 71,92 untuk kelas yang menggunakan media simulasi komputer dan 67,37 untuk kelas yang menggunakan media realia.Kata kunci: hasil belajar kognitif, media realia, simulasi komputer.

Abstract

Metacognition skills that is belonged to some students at SMPN1 Purbolinggo is weak, so there are students having difficulty to understand the lesson. The objectives of this research to know; The influence metacognition skills toward physics communication skills student of SMP in cooperative learning model TSTS type; The influence metacognition skills toward critical thinking skill students of SMP in cooperative learning model TSTS type. The population of this research are all student at the second semester of VIII class at SMPN 1 Purbolinggo. The sample of this research is VIIID class, it consist of 30 students. Sample class is selected by cluster random sampling. Design of this research is one-shot case study. The result is show that; There is positive influence between metacognition skills toward physics communication skills student of SMP in cooperative learning model TSTS type; There is positive influence between metacognition skills toward critical thinking skill students of SMP in cooperative learning model TSTS type. Abstract

This development research was aimed to develop performance assessment instrument in integrated science learning and describe appropriateness, easiness, and the benefit of using products of development result. The development included the potentials and problems, gathering the data, product design, validity design, revision design, product test, revision product, and the production. The final products had been proper used with the percentage 81,9% which means that it was very high. The instrument had been valid in appropriateness aspect with the percentage of 83,4% which means it was very high. Beside that, the instrument had been valid in easiness aspect with the percentage 80,5% which means it was very high. Instrument also had been valid in the benefit aspect with the percentage 84,9% which means that it was very high.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen performance assessment berbasis scientific approach pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu serta mendeskripsikan kesesuaian, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan penggunaan produk hasil pengembangan tersebut menurut pendapat guru. Pengembangan tersebut meliputi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produksi. Produk akhir sudah layak digunakan dengan persentase 81,9% yang berarti sangat tinggi. Instrumen sudah valid dalam aspek kesesuaian dengan persentase 83,4% yang berarti sangat tinggi. Selain itu, instrumen sudah valid dalam aspek kemudahan dengan persentase 80,5% yang berarti sangat tinggi. Instrumen juga sudah valid dalam aspek kemanfaatan dengan persentase 84,9% yang berarti sangat tinggi.Kata kunci: instrumen performance assessment, pembelajaran IPA Terpadu, scientific approach

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop metacognition assessment instrument skill that contain competencies, materials, job descriptions, guide use, the rubric (scoring guide) and metacognition scoring sheet skills. The method of development that is used in this reseach adapts the model of development metacognition assessment instrument that includes six steps of product development procedure and product experiment. The validation showed the metacognition assessment instruments skills that developed has been in line with theory and fit to be used as an assessment instrument. The results of the test on the field showed metacognition assessment instruments skills effective. The quality of metacognition assessment instrument skills: attractive, easy to use, and useful.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan metakognisi yang bermuatan kompetensi, materi, uraian tugas, panduan penggunaan, rubrik (panduan penskoran) dan lembar penilaian keterampilan metakognisi. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan instrument penilaian keterampilan metakognisi yang meliputi enam tahapan prosedur pengembangan produk dan uji produk. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan metakognisi yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukan instrumen penilaian keterampilan metakognisi efektif. Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop learning tools in science included syllabus and lesson plans consist of divinity and love the environment value, to know how the effectiveness, and teacher’s reaction about it. The research started by identifying problems, then collecting of data for designing the first product. After that, the product would be validated with masters, then continued with limited test and got some revisions again. Before it could be the last product, it has to be tested in field. The subject of the research has been done for science teacher of VIII3 grade at Junior High School 1 Bandar Lampung. The result of testing product showed that students have completed to reach the KKM 83,87% in knowledge, 100% and 83,87% in spiritual and social attitude, and then 80,65% in skilled, it means the development of learning tools appropriate and effective used for studying.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sains berupa silabus dan RPP bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, mengetahui keefektifannya, dan tanggapan guru mengenai produk tersebut. Penelitian diawali dengan identifikasi masalah, kemudian mengumpulkan data untuk mendesain produk awal. Setelah desain direvisi, produk divalidasi oleh ahli, dilanjutkan uji terbatas dan direvisi kembali. Sebelum dihasilkan produk akhir, terlebih dahulu produk diuji di lapangan. Subjek penelitian dilakukan kepada guru IPA SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung di kelas VII3. Hasil uji produk menunjukkan siswa yang telah mencapai KKM 83,87% pada aspek pengetahuan, 100% dan 83,87% pada sikap spiritual dan sosial, serta 80,65% pada aspek keterampilan, artinya perangkat yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, perangkat pembelajaran sains.

Abstract

Observations and interviews show that in Xaverius Pringsewu High School have the facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process, but its are not used optimally. Added with the problems that appear on the material electricity dynamic, the percentage of students who did not complete the material electricity dynamic at class X in 2011/2012 which is up to 91.6%. Based on the state of media researchers to develop interactive multimedia based tutorial material on high school physics electricity dynamic. This research uses research and development which refers to the procedure of learning instructional media development by Sadiman which includes seven procedures, namely: analysis of the needs and characteristics of students, formulate learning objectives, formulate particle of materials, prepare an evaluation instrument, prepare the manuscript or draft media, perform validation expert, trial or test and revision. Expert validation test results indicate that the media has been developed in accordance with theory and fit for use as a medium of learning. Field test results show that developed media tutorial is very interesting, very easy to use and useful, and effective use as a medium of learning electricity dynamic.Keywords: research development, media tutorials, and electricity dynamic.
