Abstract

The observation results showed that there were many students who did not possess scientific attitude in learning physics. This was caused by a fact that students used conventional learning model. The objective of this research was to find out the influence of student’s scientific attitude to concept mastery by using guided inquiry learning model. Population was all Grade X students in State Senior High School 12 in Bandar Lampung in odd semester of academic year 2013 – 2014. Samples were 34 students in classroom X4.3samples were taken using simple random sampling technique. This research used one-shot case study design. Hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression. The result showed, the conclusion was that the student’s scientific attitude influenced positively and significantly the students’ physics mastery concept by using guided inquiry learning model with contribution of 31% which was the determination coefficient value (R square).Berdasarkan hasil observasi masih banyak siswa yang kurang memiliki sikap ilmiah dalam mempelajari fisika. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang diterima siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh sikap ilmiah siswa terhadapa penguasaan konsep fisika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014, sedangkan sampel yang diambil yaitu Kelas X4 dengan jumlah 34 siswa. Pemilihan kelas sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil uji tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap ilmiah siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan kontribusi sebesar 31% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square).Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, penguasaan konsep, dan sikap ilmiah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a scientific attitude assessment instrument in learning physics. Subjects research and development is class XI IA students of SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. This development of research uses the development of research methods adapted from Borg and Gall modification models are synthesized with an instrument standardization procedures in preparation of technical guidelines affective assessment tool by the Directorate of High School. This model has five stages of development that consists of requirements analysis, initial product development, validation and revision experts, product testing and revision, and then production. Based on the results of the operational test product that has been done then the product in the form of student assessment instruments scientific attitude has reached its suitability as an instrument for the assessment of affective domain of physics subjects in high school.Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk membuat instrumen penilaian sikap ilmiah pada pembelajaran fisika. Subjek penelitian pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas XI IA SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari modifikasi model Borg dan Gall yang disintesiskan dengan prosedur pembakuan instrumen dalam Juknis Penyusunan Perangkat Penilaian Afektif oleh Direktorat Pembinaan SMA. Model ini memiliki lima tahap pengembangan yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli dan revisi, uji coba produk dan revisi, dan kemudian produksi. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba keoperasionalan produk yang telah dilakukan maka produk berupa instrumen penilaian sikap ilmiah siswa telah tercapai kesesuaiannya sebagai salah satu instrumen penilaian ranah afektif untuk mata pelajaran fisika di sekolah menengah atas.Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian, sikap ilmiah, pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

The research has been done to compare the average differences of physic learning results between students who used oral argumentation ability and who used written argumentation ability approach in State Senior High School 1 Labuhan Maringgai in academic year 2013/2014. This research was a treatment to a learning (free variable) to show measurement and scientific value (dependent variable) by using one-shot case study. The results showed that there were significant difference between students using oral and written argumentation ability in average.Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk membandingkan perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan kemampuan argumentasi oral dengan pendekatan kemampuan argumentasi tertulis, di SMA Negeri 1 Labuhan Maringgai tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah perlakuan terhadap suatu pembelajaran (variabel bebas) untuk menunjukkan pengukuran dan nilai ilmiah (variabel terikat), dengan desain penelitian One-Shot Case Study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan kemampuan argumentasi oral dengan pendekatan kemampuan argumentasi tertulis dengan perbedaan yang signifikan, terlihat bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas kemampuan argumentasi oral lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas kemampuan argumentasi tertulis.Kata kunci: kemampuan argumentasi, kemampuan argumentasi oral, kemampuan argumentasi tertulis

Abstract

Every student has the different of critical thinking skill, there are more quick to crtiticize the subject matter and there are difficulties. As well as learning styles, every student has the different of learning styles. Different of critical thinking skill and learning styles result some of the students felt can’t to problems solve on learning process.This research aims to know about (1)influence of the critical thinking skill on learning outcomes of inquiry role approach learning (2)influence of learning styles on learning outcmoes of inquiry role approach learning. Learning outcomes in this research is cognitive aspect.This research was implemented at Senior High School State 1 Pesisir Selatan West Lampung District, using the experimental class (XI IPA 2) with sample are 37 students. Learning process using inquiry role approach learning. Learning outcomes obtained from test results Based on the analysis of the data concluded that:(1) Has an influence critical thinking skill for learning outcomes with inquiry role approach learning.(2)Has an influence learning styles for learning outcomes with inquiry role approach learning.Keyword: critical thinking skill, learning styles, inquiry role approach, and leraning outcomes.

Abstract

The previous study at State Junior High School 8 in Bandar Lampung showed that many students perceived physics as a difficult subject because it employed many mathematical formulas and developing concept. Therefore, the objective of this research was to find out the influence of ability to generate representation mode to physics problem solving by applying guided inquiry with multiple representations learning approach. Data of ability in generating representation mode were collected with 5 problems given to students and data of problem solving were collected by giving 7 problems to students in the end of learning process. The results showed that there was a positive, linear and significant influence between generating representation mode ability and problem solving in physics subject, with contribution of 85.3% as the value of determination coefficient (R Square).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan di SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung, masih banyak siswa yang menganggap fisika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sulit karena banyak menggunakan rumus matematis dan banyak pengembangan konsepnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan membangun mode representasi terhadap pemecahan masalah fisika melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi. Data kemampuan membangun mode representasi diperoleh dengan 5 butir soal yang diberikan kepada siswa dan data pemecahan masalah diperoleh melalui 7 butir soal yang diberikan pada akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan membangun mode representasi terhadap pemecahan masalah fisika, dengan kontribusi sebesar 85,3% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square). Kata kunci: gerak, inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan membangun mode representasi, pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Learning results of physics at SMPN 1st Natar is not maximum because of the conventional teaching method of the teachers. This research compared the learning results of Exclusive model with direct instruction (DI) model, the purpose was to find out the differences between learning results of Exclusive model with DI model and to investigate which models that has higher average. The population was all students of VIII class at SMPN 1 Natar and the samples were students of VIII E and VIII F with Purposive Sampling method. The research design was Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The hypothesis was analized by using normalize test and Independent Sample t-test, the results of Independent Sample t-test indicated that t-value cognitive result was 3.35, affective was 4.26, and psychomotor was 9.47 higher than t-table (2.04), it means that there were differences of average learning result of Exclusive model with DI model, and the average of Exclusive model was higher than DI model.Hasil belajar Fisika siswa di SMPN 1 Natar belum maksimal disebabkan cara mengajar guru yang konvensional. Penelitian ini membandingkan hasil belajar model Exclusive dengan model Direct instruction (DI), bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar model Exclusive dengan model DI dan manakah yang rata-rata hasil belajarnya lebih tinggi. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII dan sampelnya yaitu siswa kelas VIII E dan VIII F dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Disain penelitian berupa Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji Independent Sample t-test, diperoleh nilai t-hitung kognitif (3.35), afektif (4.26), dan psikomotor (9.47) lebih besar dari t-tabel (2.04), artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar model Exclusive dengan model DI serta rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas Exclusive lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas DI.Kata kunci: model exclusive, model direct instruction, hasil belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this researched was to development the students’s work sheet of science learning with divinity and environmentally loving value contents. The development was conducted by adopting Borg and Gall development model in Sugiyono; including potential and problem, data collection, product design, design validity, design refinement, product testing, product revision, and application testing. The field testing was applied to students in classroom VIIA in Darul Ulum Islamic Junior High School in academic year 2013/2014. The results showed that the student’s work sheet was effective 60% in cognitive assessment with good criteria, 90% in affective assessment with good criteria, 80% and 63% respectively in psychometric assessment practicum 1 and 2, 3.38 and 2.81 respectively for teachers’ and students’ responses with good criteria.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan. Pengembangan dilakukan mengadopsi model pengembangan Borg and Gall dalam Sugiyono, yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, dan uji coba pemakaian. Uji lapangan pada siswa kelas VIIA MTs Darul Ulum tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan LKS efektif dengan penilaian kognitif 60% berktiteria baik, penilaian afektif 90% berkriteria baik, penilaian psikomotorik pada praktikum ke-1 dan ke-2 masing-masing 80% dan 63% berkriteria baik, tanggapan guru dan siswa masing-masing dengan 3,38 berkriteria sangat baik dan 2,81 berkriteria baik.Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa, nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, penelitian pengembangan.

Abstract

The aims of study is to enhance learning achievement. The experimental design of this research is Pre-Experimental Design type of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research was conducted in SMK 2 Mei Bandar Lampung that exerting 2 experimental class. The studying’s result measured by pretest and posttest evaluation score that use N-gain score and the hypothesis testing that use Independent Sample t Test. The objectives of this research are to find out : (1) the differences of the average of student’s studying result of cognitive aspect in physics learning that the learning process used PBL which the learning process used Cooperative Learning type of GI, (2) to find out the highest of physivs’s studying result between PBL model and cooperative learning model type of GI based on the capability of student’s cognitive. The result indicated that there was an average differences of studying’s result in every experimental class and on the average of N-gain score. The increasement of Problem Based Learning average score is higher than Group Investigation, therefore Problem Based Learning is more effective applicated as an effort to increase the student’s studying result in learning.Keyword : Problem Based Learning, Cooperative Type of GI, Studying’s Result.

Abstract

The material of particle dynamics, notably Newton second law, highly demands students’ ability to analyze and describe the directions of the certain force at one particular system as a mean to assist them in comprehending a concept. The teachers, who involve in the process of teaching the materials, need to choose a visual representation that is supported by other representation formats. Through this technique, students are demnded to comprehend the concept and solve the problems easier. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of free-body diagram representation skill towards the comprehension of the concept in particle dynamics material. In line with the purpose, the researcher decided One-Shot Case Study as the research design. Then, Sample class was selected by purposive sampling.The results of this research showed that there was a linear and significant influence of the free body diagram representation skill towards students’ concept comprehension. It was about 43,6%. The degree of relation between free-body diagram representation skill and concept comprehension had a strong relationship and its influence contributed positively.Keywords: Free Body Diagram Representation Skill, Inquiry Learning Model Multiple Representation Based, Concept Comprehension.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : (1) to develop the learning video in science that consist of devinity and love of the environment for senior high school, (2) to show the effectiveness of the product, and (3) to find the student’s responses for the product. The methods that is used were research and development method. The test of the product were consist of material test and used test. The result of this development is produce the learning video in science that consist of devinity and love of the environment in material of soil, fluid, and gas. The result of this development show that the product’s interesting, easy to used, and so helpful. The product effective as learnin media to used from three aspect, are 80% of students in knowledge aspect, 80% of students in attitude aspect, and 83,4% of students in aspect skills that passed KKM.Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah: (1) menghasilkan video pembelajaran sains bermuatan ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan bagi siswa SMP/Mts, (2) melihat efektivitas produk, dan (3) mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development. Uji coba terdiri dari uji coba produk dan uji coba pemakaian. Dalam pengembangan ini, dihasilkan video pembelajaran sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, yang mencakup materi wujud zat padat, cair, dan gas. Hasil pengembangan menunjukan bahwa produk ini menarik, mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat. Produk dinyatakan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan tiga aspek hasil uji coba, yaitu aspek pengetahuan 80%, aspek sikap 80%, dan aspek keterampilan 83,4% siswa yang mencapai KKM.Kata kunci: multimedia, nilai cinta lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, pembelajaran sains, pengembangan.
