Abstract

In UU No 20/2 003 (regulation number 2 0/2003) about national education system, it has been mentioned that national education is aimed to improve potentials of learner to be faithful person and to be democratic, responsible civilian. In the context of Islamic education, it needs to be run maximally by emphasizing religious value. Vision and mission need to be determined and religious lesson is used as a base in determining vision and mission of the institution. The use of principle of fastabiqul khairat becomes a value needed to create vision and mission determined, institution manager in must give an example to the staff by having good characteristic such as: sincere, honest, fair, responsible, dynamic, practical and flexible. Effective and responsible head master is a person who can lead the education institution.

Abstract

Efforts to promote education should ideally be realized jointly between the government, community, business world in improving education institutions to set up a more skilled labor force, and so forth. Such efforts must be done comprehensively started the primary level up to tertiary education. One of them the government should do is to make improvements in the areas of curriculum. Government in order to homogenize step in revamping the education issue has redefined the concept of the curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content and learning materials, as well as the means used to guide the implementation of learning activities to achieve specific educational objectives.

Abstract

This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to boost students’ motivation and learning achievements on the subjects of Islamic Education at Class XI MIA 3 SMAN 2 Sungguminasa through the implementation of inquiry method. The subjects of this study were all students of Class XI MIA 3 SMAN 2 Sungguminasa. This study was conducted from September to October 2015 by two cycles. The data collecting techniques were in the forms of observation, written test, and documentation. The findings showed that the implementation of inquiry method could improve the motivation and learning achievements of class XI MIA students at 2 SMAN 2 Sungguminasa in academic year 2015/2016. It was supported by the evidence that the students’ motivation increased from the first to the second cycle. Likewise, the students’ learning achievements also increased significantly. In the first cycle, students who had completed were only 58% and the second cycle had reached 82%.

Abstract

In order to keep the hadith authenticity, Ulum al-Hadith should be positioned as a future of foothold patron. In fact, the rules embodied in Ulum al-Hadith must be built and reorganized in accordance with the needs of the times. In the study of hadith for example, the presence of the computer and its practical programs in doing Takhrij in hadith should be used as a tool. For the development and the future prospects of the hadith, then in addition to computerized systems it should also think about the need for other devices as a complimentary tool. By realizing these efforts, the hadiths as a source of law and way of life (hopefully) should still exist for the future of human beings. The innovation of hadith studies cannot be separated from the realignment of the hadith assessment methodology that should be adjusted with the times without amending the essence of the hadith itself although the methodology is inherited from Western scholars.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to: (1) know the strategy of the teacher of Akidah Akhlak in instilling the Islamic character of the students of MTs Guppi Samata Gowa (2) to know the supporting factor of Akidah Akhlak teacher in instilling the Islamic character of MTs Guppi Samata Gowa students, (3) knowing the inhibiting factor teacher of morality in instilling the character of Islmi learners MTs Guppi Samat Gowa.This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. Research location at MTs Guppi Samata Gowa. The sources of data in this study are primary data sources that include: Subject Guru Akidah Akhlak, principal MTs Guppi, teachers BK, and representatives of students MTs Guppi Samata Gowa. While the secondary data source is the documents associated with the object under study. Data collection methods used are observation, interview and documentation. The research approach used is paedagogic approach and psychological approach. Data processing techniques and data analysis used are (1) Data Reduction (Data Reduction) (2) Data Presentation (Data Display) (3) Withdrawal of Conclusions (Verivication / Conclusion Drawing).The results of this study are: (1) Teachers' Strategy Akidah Akhlak in inculcating Islamic character of MTs Guppi Samata Gowa students: giving advice and motivation, exemplary, habituation, delivery of learning by lecture method, assignment and punishment for learners who violate regulation or school order. (2) Factors supporting morality character in instilling Islamic character of students MTs Guppi samata Gowa consists of two factors, namely internal and external, internal factor is the cooperation between teachers in school and the extracurricular in MTs Guppi Samata Gowa, while the external factor positive response from government, cooperate with other institution and support parent. (3) Inhibiting factor of teachers of Akidah Akhlak in instilling Islamic character of MTs students. Gata Samata Gowa consists of internal factors and external factors, internal factors such as school security, facilities and infrastructure. And external factors that is cooperation with parents of learners, social environment of society and peers.While the implication in this research is strategy of Akidah Akhlak teacher in instilling Islamic character of MTs Guppi Samata Gowa students, it is considered effective and worthy to be maintained. And my advice needs to be done continuously in the learning process, but the teacher must always make innovation in setting the right strategy, in accordance with the title of material aqidah morals are taught, for the cultivation of Akhlak al-karimah learners able to develop optimally.

Abstract

Abstract: To create a superior learning process / quality, it is necessary to develop a special strategy that makes students motivated to learn and always feel the pleasure in learning. In developing such learning strategies, students become the center of attention. criteria that must be met in the learning model or the development of learning are: 1) have a purpose; 2) harmony with purpose; 3) systematic; 4) having evaluation activities; and 5) fun. Therefore, the learning system can be likened to a production process consisting of an input-process-output part, which is mutually integrated. All professionals must have professional skills in their fields, among others, to make designs about things to do. So the problem is that the work works well. Ability to develop techniques in learning because all teachers want the results of education work well. Moreover, he is not dealing with inanimate objects, but a growing human child and developing.

Abstract

Sejak abad pertengahan sejarah Islam sampai saat ini muncul pengelompokan disiplin ilmu agama dan ilmu umum yang secara implicit me­nunjukkan adanya dikotomi ilmu pengetahuan. Ilmu pengetahuan yang dikaji dari al Qur’an dan hadis dipahami sebagai ilmu pengetahuan Islam, di sisi lain ilmu yang dikaji/bersumber dari alam dipahami sebagai ilmu pe­ngetahuan umum. Jika dikotomi ini dibiarkan berlangsung terus-menerus bias berdampak negative, ilmu pengetahuan umum menjadi sekuler(bebas nilai). Kondisi seperti inilah memotivasi para cendekiawan muslim berusaha meng­integrasi­kan antara keduanya. Langkah-langkah integrasi yang ditawarkan antara lain adalah: Islamisasi ilmu, Ilmuisasi Islam (menjadikan al Qur’an dan Sunnah sebagai grand teeory), dan integratif-konektif.

Abstract

This paper describes the initial view of the concept of Islamic education and the role of Islamic Higher Education on Human Resources. Further mentioned also what has been expressed by Prof. Quraish Shihab at al-Markaz al-Islamiy, Makassar in the 1900s on our concept and understanding of human resources. With this understanding is expected to facilitate the retrieval of a conclusion of what are the main ideas that must exist in a concept of education ideally. Furthermore, the search for the ideal concept of ideal Islamic education preceded by the exposure of the widely disseminated Islamization of knowledge throughout the world-though it does not escape the pros and cons. With this discussion concluded there will be hope for Islamic religious college to reveal its function and role.

Abstract

In the process of mastery learning, there are many things that should be considered in order the designed activities can be run successfully. They are; 1) the specific teaching objectives and the selecting materials that are relevant and appropriate to the learning activity; 2) the teaching and learning approach that allows each individual can learn; 3) giving and the use of feedback and remedial; 4) setting standards for students’ mastery before proceeding to the next learning process; and 5) assessing learning achievement based on Benchmark Reference Assessment and not on Norm Reference Assessment.

Abstract

This research was positivistic aiming to answer the research problem, namely: 1) how is the realization of the teachers’ role in the learning process; 2) how are the learning activities of students; and 3) can the optimization of the teachers’ role improve students’ learning activities that have been implemented in MTs. Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa. Then, the samples of this study were 20 teachers and 20 students chosen proportionately 15% of 284 students as the population with stratified random sampling technique. The data were collected by using questionnaires, observation sheets, and format documents. Then, they were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Further, hypothesis testing concluded that; 1) the average score of optimization of the teachers’ role was about 62.6: 20 = 3:13 categorized frequently - so, the teachers often optimize their role as a source of learning, facilitator, manager, demonstrator, mentor, motivator, and evaluator in the learning process at MTs Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa; 2) the average score of students’ learning activities was about 56 467: 20 = 2.82 categorized often – so the learners often do learning activities in the form of observing, asking, gathering information, associating/processing information, and communicating in the learning process at MTs. Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa; and 3) the score improvement in the students’ activities into 42.1524 if the score of optimizing the teachers’ role increased being 56. It means that in order to increase the students’ learning activities increased 1 then the mean score of optimization the teachers’ role in teaching should be increased into 56: 42.1524 = 1.33. In accordance with the conclusions and hypothesis testing, it was found that: 1) the teachers’ role in MTs. Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa can be implemented in the learning process because the results are positive; 2) the students’ learning activities in MTs. Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa can be improved in the learning process because the results are also positive; and 3) the learners’ activities can be increased through optimizing the teachers’ role in the learning process in MTs. Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa because the results were influencing.
