Abstract

Core Value is the soul of an organization or institution. The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises has established AKHLAK as a core value in working well and correctly to build the nation. AKHLAK is an acronym for Amanah, Kompeten, Harmoni, Loyal, Adaptif, and Kolaboratif. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the core value of AKHLAK and the business strategy implemented by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using the library research method. The main data sources for this research were obtained from books and articles published in the last 10 (ten) years in journals that are accredited both nationally and internationally. The results of the research show that the core value of AKHLAK is related to the business strategy of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, keeping promises and telling the truth about the products (Amanah), learning to do business from the age of 12 (twelve) years (Kompeten), without badmouthing other people's businesses who are competitors and paying employee wages before the sweat dries (Harmoni), obeying the leadership's orders as long as they do not conflict with the Shari'a (Loyal), understanding market needs (Adaptif), building strong relationships with various tribes (Kolaboratif).

Abstract

This research is a study of the determination of Muslim consumer behaviour in purchasing halal products through the development of TPB by developing halal literacy variables. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The location of this research was at Muhammadiyah Bone University with 120 student samples. The results of this study indicate that halal literacy and attitudes have a significant influence on the purchasing behaviour of Muhammadiyah Bone University students in buying halal products. Halal literacy, as measured by understanding and knowledge of halal concepts, as well as positive attitudes towards halal products, strongly influence purchasing decisions. In contrast, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control did not show a significant influence on purchasing behaviour. Buying intention also has a significant effect on purchasing behaviour and acts as a strong predictor of actual behaviour. However, buying intention does not significantly mediate the relationship between halal literacy and purchasing behaviour, as well as between subjective norms and perceived behavioural control and purchasing behaviour. The mediation of buying intention between attitude and purchase behaviour was close to significance, but not strong enough to be considered significant.

Abstract

The integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in Islamic finance is methodically examined in this paper, with a focus on how Sharia rules connect with sustainability objectives. Examining the benefits and difficulties of implementing ESG principles in Islamic financial institutions is the primary goal. This study identifies important findings from recent research and examines their implications for Islamic finance using a systematic literature review (SLR) based on the PRISMA approach. According to the analysis, there are still a lot of obstacles to overcome, especially when it comes to standardized reporting and regulatory guidelines, even though ESG closely resembles Maqasid al-sharia in that it promotes social welfare and ethical governance. The findings demonstrate how increasing ESG practice transparency can boost market competitiveness, draw in socially conscious investors, and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results of this study provide a conceptual framework for Islamic financial institutions looking to implement Sharia-compliant ESG practices, laying the groundwork for future empirical studies and policy creation.

Abstract

This study examines the Analysis of Community Economic Growth through the Agricultural Sector in North Padang Lawas Regency. This study applies a descriptive qualitative research approach. This step is taken because the researcher will analyze various information in qualitative methods and then provide an interpretation of the data that has been collected. The information collected in the study is divided into two categories, namely: primary data and additional data. Primary data was obtained through direct observation in the field and interviews with sources from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) Padang Lawas Utara. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from journals and articles relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that the community in North Padang Lawas has abundant natural resource potential, such as fertile soil and a climate that is conducive to agricultural activities. This provides significant opportunities for the development of various types of food crops and horticulture. In addition, the presence of the agricultural sector has a significant impact on the economic growth of the PALUTA community, considering that most of the population in the area works as farmers. Thus, in general the agricultural sector in North Padang Lawas has significant opportunities to develop, but requires special attention regarding sustainability, policy support, and increasing the ability of farmers in order to achieve maximum results.

Abstract

In an era where corporate ethics are increasingly scrutinized, the question arises: can social responsibility truly enhance a company's competitive edge? This study aims to analyze the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the competitiveness of Sharia companies in the international market. Using a quantitative approach and secondary data from 30 Sharia companies listed on the stock exchange during the period of 2015-2023, this research found a significant positive relationship between CSR and the competitiveness of companies. The regression analysis results indicate that each one-unit increase in CSR value is associated with a 0.45 unit increase in company competitiveness. These findings suggest that Sharia companies actively engaged in CSR not only enhance their reputation but also strengthen their position in the international market. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of the role of CSR in the business strategies of Sharia companies.

Abstract

Humanitarian crises, whether caused by war or natural disasters, often result in victims losing their wealth and becoming poor. Zakat, infak, and sedekah can assist them, but the legal aspects of their utilization must be considered. Zakat can only be given to the eight specified categories. This article aims to explore the use of ZIS for victims of humanitarian crises from the perspective of ijma’. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with library research, which involves collecting data from various sources, followed by data reduction, presentation, conclusion, and data verification. The results of the study show that the use of ZIS for humanitarian purposes is permitted based on the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) No. 23 of 2020, No. 66 of 2022, and No. 83 of 2023. These fatwas state that zakat distribution directly to disaster victims must meet the criteria of the eight asnaf. Meanwhile, for public welfare needs, it falls under the asnaf sabilillah. The MUI fatwa can be considered as an ijma’ of Indonesian scholars because its methodology is based on ijma’. However, if the MUI fatwa is not classified as ijma’, it can be considered ijtihad jama’i (collective ijtihad), which represents a consensus of Islamic law experts and other relevant specialists, and its results can be held accountable.

Abstract

The significant increase in investor participation in the sharia capital market, especially among the younger generation, requires an understanding of the factors that influence investment decisions. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, risk perception, and herding behavior on sharia stock investment decisions, with interest as a mediating variable and financial behavior as a moderating variable. The method used is a quantitative approach with primary data from 391 active investors of PT FAC Sekuritas Indonesia Jambi Branch. Sampling using purposive sampling, and analysis was carried out through SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy, risk perception, and herding behavior have a significant positive effect on investment interest. Interest fully mediates the relationship between financial literacy and risk perception on investment decisions. Conversely, the direct influence of both is not significant. Herding behavior also has a significant direct effect on investment decisions, but is partially mediated by interest. Financial behavior does not significantly moderate the tested relationship. These findings indicate that interest and social influence are more decisive in determining sharia investment decisions than rationality alone, so that the investor education approach needs to combine psychological and social aspects.
