Abstract

The purpose of this research is Described: (1) management of TBM Pondok Maos Guyub, and (2) the impact of the TBM Pondok Maos Guyub Progress Towards Literacy community. This research uses qualitative approach method. The subject is the founder of TBM, TBM visitor Manager and several surrounding communities TBM. Engineering data collection done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include the collection of data, data presentation, data reduction and withdrawal of the conclusion. An examination of the validity of the data using triangulation of sources. The research results showed that: (1) process management of TBM Pondok Maos Guyub includes the planning, organizing, implementasion, coaching, assessment and development. (2) the impact of the management of TBM against perceived community literacy progress impact on academic skills, personal skills, and competence of the Polytechnic.

Abstract

Premarital sex is still a concern for parents and it is not acceptable behaviour in the community. Besides, it can cause infectious diseases, death of young mothers, susceptible to abortion, and other health risks. The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the family sex education of children living far away from home. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with data collection techniques using open-ended polls and in-depth interviews. A total of 43 students ‘ population of non-formal education study semester II who lives in boarding or contact in the city of Bengkulu (far from parents). Results show that students seldom discuss love, sex, parenting and family planning in a family environment. Topics discussed in the home environment of sex education are only limited to planning education is not the plan of the family. Majority of parents using the story approach to introducing sex education with limited. The way parents monitor the sexual behaviour of children far apart by calling the child, asking the close relatives, friends and owners of the Boarding house and strengthening the religious enhancement. Next way special girls are visited at least once a month.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dampak metode pembelajaran berbasis pemecahan masalah (Problem Posing). Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan pra eksperimen dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah telah bermanfaat meningkatkan partisipasi warga belajar di dalam pembelajaran, nilai akademik warga belajar meningkat melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), dan kemampuan soft skill yang  sangat  menonjol. Dampak yang ada diharapkan dapat memicu semangat warga belajar untuk memotivasi belajar anak-anaknya secara berkelanjutan. Kendala meliputi pengetahuan dan wawasan warga belajar terbatas, diskusinya lama karena perbedaan pendapat; adanya warga belajar yang mendominasi diskusi, tutor harus mengendalikan diskusi, agar warga belajar lain aktif juga mengemukakan pendapat; warga belajar tidak mengetahui jadwal tutorial yang lengkap dengan nama mata pelajaran. Adanya faktor pendukung membuat pembelajaran berlangsung kondusif. Alternatif pengembangannya adalah warga belajar ditugaskan mencari solusi dan tutor mengevaluasi daya serap warga belajar terhadap materi dan tingkat kesadaran sosial dan keterampilan sosial warga belajar; tutor bermitra dengan lembaga terkait. Tutor mengarahkan kegiatan dan tugas warga belajar di lokasi dan cara penyusunan laporan. Tutor juga memonitor dan mengevaluasi.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on mental health conditions of humans in general and students in particular. To be able to cope with stressful conditions and other negative emotions during a pandemic, the ability to survive and rise is needed. The ability to adapt positively to stress, crisis, and adversity while remaining healthy is definition of resilience. Therefore, this study aimed to determine whether online positive attitude training in identifying, integrating and actualizing self-potential can increase the level of students’ resilience during this pandemic. The subjects of this study were 50 students from various Universities, 25 students participated as the experimental group and 25 others participated as the control group. Mann Whitney U statistical test was used to compare the resilience of the experimental and control groups during the pre-test and post-test. The results of the Man Whitney U statistical test showed a significance value of p = 0.006 (p 0.05) which indicates that there was a significant difference between resilience scores of the experimental group (mean rank = 31.10) and the control group (mean rank = 19.90). It was concluded that online positive attitude training was able to increase the level of student resilience amidst pandemic. This study shows that online training can actually be an effective method of educating or improving certain skills.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of peer group learning method in improving the college students’ achievement. This research uses one group pretest and posttest design. The population is non-formal education students of State University of Padang who take Education Statistics Subject in January-June 2017, consists of two classes each of which is control group and experimental group. There are 30 students in the control group and 41 students in the experimental group. The data obtained from the students’ learning result during January-June 2017 and analyzed using t-test statistical technique. The purposes of the research are (1) peer tutor is a strategy to help fulfilling the students’ need; (2) peer tutors will be proud of their role and they will learn from their experiences as tutor; and (3) peer tutor’s help can eliminate the students’ clumsiness. The research findings indicate that the students’ learning result with conventional learning method is unsatisfactory, the peer group learning method can improve the students’ learning result, and there is a significant difference between the students’ achievement learned with the conventional method and learned with the peer group method.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of adolescents in matrilineal care in Minangkabau which is described in seven aspects, namely, religious, disciplined and responsible, independent, creative, respectful and polite, cooperative, and communicative. The population in this study were mothers who have adolescent children, live in Padang city, and have brothers (mamak). The present study used a survey method. A multistage random sampling technique was used for sampling. A sample of 296 respondents was asked to answer a questionnaire. The questionnaire was tested and validated by experts. A descriptive statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. The results showed that the character of respect and manners obtained the highest index score, while the character of cooperation obtained the lowest index score. To improve the character of cooperation, it is necessary to increase the involvement of adolescents in completing a job with their friends and solve their friends' problems.

Abstract

Pendidikan moral religius penting dilakukan sejak usia dini secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan, mengingat  banyak penyimpangan moral di masyarakat dikarenakan lemahnya sitem pendidikan moral di sekolah. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu pola penanaman nilai – nilai moral religius  yang tepat untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah tersebut di atas.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pola pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penanaman nilai-nilai moral religius di TKIT Arofah 3 Bade. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan populasi anak kelompok B TKIT Arofah 3 Bade usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 20 anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Perencanaan penanaman nilai moral religius di TKIT Arofah 3 Bade dilakukan secara terpadu, dimulai dari rapat kerja guru yang kemudian dituangkan dalam Rencana Kerja Sekolah (RKS) dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Harian (RPPH) yang bermuatan religius, kemudian disosialisasikan melalui rapat wali murid sebagai perencanaan berkelanjutan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral religius di lingkungan rumah; 2) Pola penanaman nilai-nilai moral religius di TKIT Arofah 3 bade menggunakan pola pengkondisian yang terstruktur dalam bentuk siklus, mulai dari bekal pengetahuan religius yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran, keteladanan, praktek pembiasaan, pengalaman kunjungan atau kegiatan intrakurikuler dan dikuatkan dengan reward and punishment.; 3) Evaluasi penanaman nilai –nilai moral religius dilakukan secara terprogram dan berkesinambungan melalui dua tahap, yaitu evaluasi proses dan evaluasi hasil.Moral education is very important thing to be done early in a consistent and sustainable because now a lot of deviations moral occurring in the community because of the lack of  moral  education system in the school. So, it is required a learning pattern of religious moral values that are appropriate to solve the problems mentioned above. The focus of this study focused on three things, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. This research uses qualitative descriptive research approach with a population of children in group B TKIT Arofah 3 ages 5-6 years whose number 20 children. Results from the study showed that : 1) Planning of the pattern of the religious moral values in TKIT Arofah 3 Bade carried out in an integrated manner, starting from the teacher meeting then stated on the work plan of the school and the daily lesson plan that contains religious then socialized  at meeting of caregivers as sustainable planning in instilling religious moral values in the home environment.  2) The process of  the  pattern of the religious moral values in TKIT Arofah 3 Bade using the conditioning pattern wich is structured in the form of a cycle. Start from provinsi in religious knowledge which integrates in learning, modeling, habituation practice, experience excursions or intracuricular activities and reinforced with reward and punishment;  3) Evaluation of  the pattern of the religious moral value is already done programmatically and continually through two-step evaluations, that are process evaluation and outcome evaluation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan ciri-ciri pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran dan pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis kualitas di Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan Magistra Utama Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain etnografi pendidikan. penelitian ini dilakukan di Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan Magistra Utama Kota Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber, metode dan teori. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan memiliki ciri kualitas, mendesain kurikulum pembelajaran dengan cara bekerja sama dengan dunia usaha dan dunia industri. Proses belajar mengajar berkualitas, mendatangkan pakar dalam pembelajaran. Pengembangan pembelajaran, kerjasama dengan dunia usaha dan dunia industri dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran dan penyetaraan capaian belajar dengan membentuk kompetensi peserta didik sesuai level dalam Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve: (1) the learning process of early childhood education (ECE) teachers  in making lesson plans, (2) the ability of ECE teachers in making lesson plans. This study is action research that adopted the model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consisting of planning, implementation of the action, observation, and reflection. The data collection was done through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis used was the qualitative analysis and descriptive descriptive analysis. The result of the study showed that there was improvement in:  (1) the training participants; learning activities (students’ cooperation, discipline, participation, commitment, bravery in expressing opinions, ability to execute learning process, and learning independence), (2) the ability of ECE teachers in making lesson plans

Abstract

Education at home is preparing a child for the future even though parents educate their child without a specific goal. But the child gets the knowledge, value, skills, and habits of parental education with love and compassion. The purpose of this research is to know the entrepreneurial education conducted by parents to children in Indonesia and the Philippines. The study was conducted in Indonesia and the Philippines. The population of this research comes from university students in Indonesia and the Philippines. The research respondent is the first semester student to become a respondent, as it is still heavily influenced by family education, the spread of questionnaires using Google forms, where the intended student is 2019 class students to fill the form provided. The maximum sample amount is determined, 216 respondents were acquired for each country. Data analysis techniques use percentages, data is outlined based on the educational aspect given to students by parents in the family. Shows that parents in Indonesia and the Philippines have done their job well. Indonesia acquires higher average value than the Philippines for all components, namely: knowledge, values, habits, and entrepreneurial skills. Overall, it looks how much the average acquisition shows the difference in the results of Indonesia and the Philippines in educating future entrepreneurs by parents. Habituation in children through assignments to do something at home or homework. The value of skills educated by parents in the form of leadership values and the ability to network, communicate, and make decisions quickly. Entrepreneurship education can provide an intensive investment value as long as the child is still in the educational process of his parents at home.
