Abstract

Kampus adalah satu tempat penting untuk berlangsungnya pendidikan. Kampus dianggap sebagai tempat belajar yang cukup kompeten karena mahasiswa bisa menggantungkan impian, cita-cita dan masa depan. Mahasiswa yang tengah mengenyam pendidikan tinggi tidak sekedar masuk kuliah atau mengikuti ujian sebagai syarat kelulusan. Mereka yang akan segera terjun ke masyarakat untuk menerapkan ilmu yang dimiliki, tentu diharapkan juga bisa mengembangkan diri agar bisa menjadi sarjana yang berkualitas, kreatif, kritis dan bertanggung jawab. Seiring dengan laju globalisasi yang begitu pesat, berbagai permasalahan muncul dalam dunia Pendidikan Indonesia. Kasus kriminal seperti peredaran narkoba, pergaulan bebas, pola hidup hedonis dan keberadaan ayam kampus menjadi kehidupan yang identik dengan dunia kampus.Fenomena kehidupan “Ayam Kampus” di sejumlah perguruan tinggi ini menunjukkan penyimpangan perilaku seks yang terjadi dikalangan mahasiswa semakin berkembang, hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa adanya kebebasan mahasiswa dalam bergaul dan kurangnya kontrol dari orang tua. Sehingga memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk terjerumus dan menjerumuskan diri pada perilaku seks bebas menjadi lebih besar. Kehadiran mereka pun disebabkan oleh banyak faktor yang perlu diketahui. Keadaan ini menyebabkan pendidikan dan moral mengalami degradasi. Keberadaan mereka pun disadari butuh perjuangan untuk tetap berada di tengah – tengah masyarakat. Untuk itu mereka menjalani peran yang rumit, yaitu berperan sebagai anak yang baik di depan keluarga dan berperan sebagai mahasiswi yang normal seperti kebanyakan mahasiswi  lainnya.Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi “ayam kampus” salah satu PTN di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatitif. Dalam hal ini, data dikumpulkan dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di beberapa tempat, yaitu salah satu kampus PTN di Surabaya, tempat tinggal subjek, dan tempat yang biasa digunakan untuk bertransaksi dengan pelanggannya. Dari hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa mahasiswi “ayam kampus” memaknai fenomena kehidupannya sebagai hak asasi manusia. Artinya subjek merasa kehidupan yang dipilihnya merupakan hak bagi dirinya sendiri dan tentunya tanggung jawab dan resiko merupakan hal yang telah dipertimbangkan olehnya.

Abstract

The Equivalence Education Program is non-formal education that applies learning with the e-learning system to substitute conventional learning in formal education school. This study aims to identify and analyze (1) e-learning conducted by students, (2) students #39;interest in learning, and (3) the effect of e-learning on students#39; learning interest in the Package C Equivalence Program at PKBM Pioneer Karanganyar. The method used is a quantitative approach focusing on the ex post facto approach. The research sample was 45 students of Package C at PKBM Pioneer Karanganyar, out of a total population of 141 Package C students. The data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. The analysis technique used is statistical and inferential analysis techniques focusing on simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) Package C students at PKBM Pioneer Karanganyar appreciated that the e-learning was equivalent to online learning (2) Package C students at PKBM Pioneer Karanganyar had high learning interest, (3) there was a positive influence and e-learning was significant for students#39; interest in learning in the Package C Program at PKBM Pioneer Karanganyar. The benefit of this research is to provide an overview of online learning that is fun to students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter pada Homeschooling ANSA, nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan, faktor pendukung dan penghambat serta hasil dari pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Tutor, Orang Tua Warga Belajar, dan Warga Belajar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam memeriksa keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, baik sumber maupun metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles Huberman dengan siklus mulai pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verfikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pendidikan karakter telah termuat baik dalam rencana aktivitas tutorial (RAT) maupun satuan aktivitas tutorial (SAT) yang disusun oleh semua tutor. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pembiasaan dan pemberian contoh oleh tutor dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan observasi dan memberikan penilaian pada buku rapot. Nilai karakter  yang ditanamkan terutama adalah tanggung jawab dan kemandirian. Faktor pendukungnya adalah orang tua, tutor, teman sebaya, dan sarana prasarana. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah orang tua, teman sebaya, dan teknologi seperti gadget. Hasil pendidikan karakter menunjukkan hasil yang baik meskipun belum optimal. Warga belajar yang memiliki karakter yang kuat juga berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik di sekolah.

Abstract

The development of urban community needs for increasing self-competence is a great opportunity for Non-Formal Education (NFE), but the NFE program organized by Community Learning Centre (CLC) has not been able to answer. It needs the right strategy to develop NFE programs that are in accordance with the needs of urban communities, namely entrepreneurship. The research objective was to reveal the urban area entrepreneurship based NFE program development strategy carried out by CLC. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with the following research results. Entrepreneurship-based NFE program development strategy through stages; (1) strategy formulation which includes activities to identify potentials, formulate the vision, mission and objectives of the CLC institution, identify internal and external conditions of the CLC institution, select strategies, formulate strategies. (2) Implementation of culinary entrepreneurship strategies with attention to urban problems, effective organizational structures, marketing programs, budgets, developing management information systems, and linking with performance. (3) Evaluation of culinary entrepreneurship strategies; the effectiveness of the process and the achievement of results, namely the learning community has skills as a provision for entrepreneurship. This NFE program management strategy can solve the problem of unemployment, and for CLC institutions to develop and become independent. The conclusion is that the strategy of developing the NFE program based on entrepreneurial skills can create graduates who are ready to become entrepreneurs. So that graduates can provide benefits for their own life and social environment.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the role of principal in improving the competitive advantage of Early Childhood Education  institution. The research approach used is qualitative research with multicase study design. The study was conducted at two ECE institution in Malang, namely Restu 2 and As Salam. Data collection was done by in-depth interview, observation, and documentation study, then analyzed by inductive analysis method, which includes two stages: individual site data analysis and cross-site data analysis. Key research informant is principal. Data validity checking is done through credibility test, transferability test, and confirmability test. The results of this study indicate that the role of principal in improving the competitive advantage of ECE institution is categorized in 3 roles, namely (1) as a drafter that plays a role in developing creative ideas and drafting innovative program concepts to make the institution known to the public; (2) as a liaison, which plays a role in conveying the vision of the mission to the members of the institution and establish cooperation with other parties or parents; and (3) as a controller, that is to play a role in maintaining the quality of service institutions through the activities of dividing educator tasks according to their respective expertise, building a family atmosphere, and monitoring the implementation of educator's duties.

Abstract

Uncoordinated collaborations make the stability of management of tourist destinations not good. Therefore, the process of tourism development has not been stable. Meanwhile, collaboration is widely regarded as one of the skills for academic and career success in the 21st century, especially on a large and challenging scale in the work team process. This collaboration tends to be able to adapt to the conditions and changes that occur. But although not limited, collaboration is a means to improve work relationships. The goal of the research on how to set up challenge-based learning to improve travel management collaboration Skills. Researchers use Challenge Based Learning (CBL) in the form of outbound games to improve the management of tourism destinations with social action research methods. The results showed that the collaboration used in the game could increase confidence, and communicate. Challenge-based learning and collaboration skills make the collaboration process between managers happen through communication in learning. The perceived change is like the use of language, the citizens learn already has the competence of Indonesian language and able to adjust to the circumstances and environment.

Abstract

The use of learning multimedia has numerous advantages, including accommodating variances in student learning styles, allowing students to choose the content to be studied, and allowing students to change their learning speed by selecting particular buttons given in multimedia learning. This study aims to investigate the development of multimedia-based teaching materials in the mastery of linguistic aspects of the understanding of listening to Mandarin. This research method in the form of literature review was conducted based on issues, methodologies, equations and further research proposals. The findings revealed that the understanding of listening to their language after the application of materials that indicate multimedia had an influence on the development of mandarin teaching material materials.So it can be concluded that, multimedia is one of the important tools in teaching understanding listening to mandarin. With the right elements and the right storyboard can help motivate students and improve listening skills.

Abstract

Learning in the Semarang Nonformal Education Unit Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) equality education especially the package C program focuses more on students or learning citizens, namely the occurrence of the learning process. The diversity of the backgrounds of the learning community makes participation in the learning process and the learning outcomes of each learning citizen more varied. In the learning process the learning climate created by tutors is more centered on learning centers. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze Package C learning. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Check the validity of the data using source triangulation and methods. The results of the study show that the learning plan of the Package C Program includes: formulating learning objectives, teaching materials, methods, learning resources and establishing assessment of learning outcomes. Implementation involves three steps, namely introduction, core and closing. The learning evaluation that is apllied is summative and formative evaluation.

Abstract

The era of 4.0, following the advancement of technology especially digital media, has challenged the existed learning activity of kindergarten students. Due to the pandemic situation, learning activity must be conducted from home. Hence, this research aims to observe the teachers’ strategies in preparing digital media to develop children’s literacy skills during online learning. This research used a quantitative approach using the survey method. Findings showed that 90.48% of teachers have planned their strategies properly to develop children’s literacy skills using digital media. Meanwhile from the implementation, 45.24% was not conducted optimally, and from the evaluation, only 53.28% of the children have developed their literacy skills using digital media in online learning. The benefit of this research is to provide an explanation that education in the pandemic era must prioritize coordination between teachers, parents and their children.

Abstract

This research based on the fact that there still be poor community in urban area, DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this research is giving a view of government role in giving environmental, social, ecomical, as well as educational help for the community. The result of the research shows that community empowerment program is coordinated by national team of poverty alleviation acceleration (TNP2K). Government institution such as social ministry, public work ministry, empowerment and family welfare movement, community and women empowerment institution and family planning, and DKI Jakarta community empowerment have environmental guidance, social, and economical empowerment program. The result of this research also shows that nonformal education guidance is needed to help poor society who have no chance to have education. The results of this research indeed conclude that the government has already had a role in the guidance of empowering urban poor commmunity in environmental, socal, and economical sectors but educational guidance to help empowerment process in the society is needed.
