Abstract

Premarital sex is still a concern for parents and it is not acceptable behaviour in the community. Besides, it can cause infectious diseases, death of young mothers, susceptible to abortion, and other health risks. The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the family sex education of children living far away from home. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with data collection techniques using open-ended polls and in-depth interviews. A total of 43 students ‘ population of non-formal education study semester II who lives in boarding or contact in the city of Bengkulu (far from parents). Results show that students seldom discuss love, sex, parenting and family planning in a family environment. Topics discussed in the home environment of sex education are only limited to planning education is not the plan of the family. Majority of parents using the story approach to introducing sex education with limited. The way parents monitor the sexual behaviour of children far apart by calling the child, asking the close relatives, friends and owners of the Boarding house and strengthening the religious enhancement. Next way special girls are visited at least once a month.

Abstract

Desa Pagar Dewa Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah merupakan desa yang pernah mengalami banjir akibat luapan Sungai Lemau ketika curah hujan tinggi, bahkan sampai membanjiri fasilitas umum seperti jalan, sekolah, kantor desa. Banjir yang sering kali terjadi khususnya di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang ada di Desa Pagar Dewa membuat khawatir kepada anak-anak yang ada di Sekolah dan di Desa Pagar Dewa. Anak-anak merupakan kelompok yang paling trauma dan minim pengetahuan akan kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir. Kami membuat kegiatan penyuluhan kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir agar anak-anak yang ada di Desa Pagar Dewa dapat lebih waspada dan antisipasi bila mengadapi cuaca dengan curah hujan tinggi yang berpotensi menyebabkan banjir. Adapun media yang digunakan berupa puzzle, poster dan video yang membuat anak-anak lebih tertarik dan tidak monoton untuk digunakan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan games interaktif. Sasaran penyuluhan adalah anak-anak Desa Pagar Dewa yang berusia 6-10 tahun yang berjumlah 15 orang. Untuk mengukur pengetahuan peserta dilakuakan pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir pada anak-anak usia 6-10 tahun di Desa Pagar Dewa. Penggunaan media puzzle, video dan poster efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan

Abstract

Based on the results of monitoring and evaluation of lectures in the Nonformal Education Study Programme, it is found that students experience learning difficulties which have an impact on learning outcomes that are not optimal in the student's creative work course, which is one of the core practical courses of the study programme. This research aims to improve learning in student creative work courses by using the eco-edutainment-based quantum teaching model to improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted on 3rd-semester students in the 2022/2023 academic year using quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design, pretest-posttest with Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study were 30 experimental class students (semester 3A) and 30 control class students (semester 3B). The research was conducted in the Nonformal Education Study Programme and Joint Lecture Building 3 FKIP Bengkulu University laboratory. The results showed that applying the eco-edutainment-based quantum teaching model could improve student learning outcomes by 79.83%, or the experimental class experienced an effective increase, while the control class was only 58.51% or experienced a sufficient increase. So, applying quantum teaching models based on eco-edutainment can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The concept of tourism villages is indeed a trend in Indonesia and various parts of the world, so it is not surprising that many tourists visit tourism villages. However, the development of the tourism sector is inseparable from the risk of crime, one of which is crime and sexual exploitation, whose targets are children. Crime and sexual exploitation of children have been rampant in tourist destinations in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. The crimes and exploitation of children in tourist attractions: 1) child marriage, 2) child prostitution, 3) child sex trafficking, 4) online child pornography, 5) child trafficking. This study aims to conduct an analysis to develop a child-friendly tourist village free of exploitation to Sirnajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Respondents in this study were 44 people with details of 40 tourists, one head of Sirnajaya Village, and three tourism managers in Sirnajaya Village. The results revealed that Sirnajaya Village is not yet feasible to become exploitation-free rural tourism. It still needs some improvements, especially those related to policies, facilities and infrastructure, quality of human resources, and community involvement. The suggested tactic is change tactics/strategy, meaning that the current management organization is advised to change its tourism development strategy if it wants to develop exploitation-free, child-friendly tourism.

Abstract

The results of the Learning Evaluation System (SIEPEL V.2) and monitoring of the Quality Control Group (GKM) of the Non-Formal Education Study Program show that the Youth Education (PNF-203) course in semester III of 2022-2023 still experiences difficulties in the implementation and the lowest satisfaction in semester III. This study aims to improve the quality of learning by implementing a facilitative learning model with the photovoice method. Classroom action research was carried out up to 3 cycles by researchers and lecturers in charge of the course collaboratively. The research respondents were 27-semester III-A students in the 2023-2024 academic year. The research results showed that the percentage of learning completion in cycle I was 62.96%, cycle II was 77.78%, and cycle III was 96.30%. The activity observation score for each cycle was 70.4 in cycle I, 81.1 in cycle II, and 85.4 in cycle III. The observation score of lecturer teaching skills was 72.5 in cycle I, 80.25 in cycle II, and 83.5 in cycle III. The facilitative learning model with the photovoice method can improve the quality of learning in youth education courses in the Non-formal Education Study Program.

Abstract

The results of the monitoring of the Non-formal Education Study Program coordinator for the student creative work course (PNF-202) semester III in the 2023-2024 academic year are practical courses that have minimal field practice. This course allows students to engage in activities in the community and see portraits of social and educational issues in the community. The results of SIEPEL v2.0 University of Bengkulu in 2023-2024 stated that this course had the lowest average satisfaction in semester III, especially in terms of pedagogical and social competence. Even 65% of students want to improve their learning, especially in practical activities in the community, using accurate models, methods, and approaches. This study aimed to analyze the application of the ASOKA model with street photography media based on local wisdom in improving students' creative thinking skills. This study uses a non-equivalent control group design experimental method with a sample of 26 students in semester III-A and 25 students in semester III-B as the control class. Data analysis was done using SPSS 22 software on pretest and posttest data, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The study results indicate that applying the ASOKA model with street photography media based on local wisdom improves students' creative thinking skills in fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The t-test or hypothesis test results show that t-count = 10.983> t-table = 2.010, which means that the model used significantly improves students' creative thinking skills more than conventionall.

Abstract

Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah menjadi salah satu kabupaten yang angka kekerasan seksual terhadap anak maningkat dengan pesat. Dari 34 kasus kekerasan pada anak, 27 kasus merupakan kekerasan seksual pada tahun 2023, padahal tahun 2021 hanya ada 13 kasus dan tahun 2022 sebanyak 16 kasus. Data ini hanyalah data yang tercatat dan melapor, sedangkan diyakini masih ada kejadian kekerasan yang tidak melapor. Sebagain besar kasus dilakukan oleh orang-orang terdekat dengan anak atau berada pada lingkungan terdekat anak. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua tentang pentingnya peran mereka dalam pendidikan seksualitas anak usia dini dan sebagai langkah pencegahan awal bagi orang tua yang memiliki anak akan bahaya kejahatan dan pelecehan seksual yang terjadi pada anak. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan dengan pendekatan dialogis dengan metode diskusi, simulasi, konseling individu dan kelompok, dan sharing konten di media sosial. Sasaran kegiatan adalah orang tua peserta didik PAUD di SPNF SKB Bengkulu Tengah. Kegaitan penyuluhan berjalan dengan baik, respon peserta terhadap materi penyuluhan dianggap sangat bermanfaat, dan materi yang disampaikan mudah untuk dipahami. Sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan, peserta membentuk kelompok layanan konseling terkait pendidikan seksualitas anak usia dini

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penggerakan (Motivating) Ekstrinsik Fisik Pengelola dalam melaksanakan Program Didikan Subuh di masjid At-Taqwa Dusun II Desa Talang Pito Kecamatan Bermani Ilir Kabupaten Kepahiang. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi dan pengambilan dokumentasi, teknik validasi data mengggunakan teknik triangulasi waktu, triangulasi subjek dan triangulasi teknik, subjek penelitian ini adalah pengelola Program Didikan Subuh, Pembina Didikan Subuh, dan Kepala KUA Kecamatan Bermani ilir. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa Penggerakan (Motivating) Ekstrinsik Fisik pengelola dalam melaksanakan Program Didikan Subuh berupa uang dan masjid, menjadi penggerak bagi pengelola dalam melaksanakan Program Didikan Subuh karena masjid yang tidak terpakai sebagai tempat pelaksanaan pembelajaran keagamaan menggerakkan pengelola untuk memanfaatkannya sebagai pusat pembelajaran keagamaan serta untuk menarik anak-anak mencintai masjid, selain adanya fasilitas berupa banguan masjid, Faktor Penggerakan Ektrinsik Fisik lainnya adalah adanya gaji sebagai Penyuluh Agama Islam yang diterima oleh pengelola setelah melaksanakan Program Didikan Subuh

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui evaluasi belajar program kecakapan hidup penanaman kecambah sawit bagi warga belajar paket C (studi kasus PKBM Wira Bhakti Kota Bengkulu). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu Tutor kecakapan hidup, Ketua PKBM Wira Bhakti dan warga belajar. Untuk teknik validitas menggunakan trianggulasi waktu, trianggulasi subjek dan trianggulasi teknik dan data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan adanya evaluasi belajar program kecakapan hidup penanaman kecambah sawit. Hal tersebut dibuktikan warga belajar memiliki pengetahuan cara menyemai bibit kecambah sawit sampai dengan memelihara bibit kecambah sawit, sikap warga belajar yang baik mengikuti semua arahan dari tutor tentang langah-langkah cara menyemai bibit kecambah sawit sampai dengan memelihara bibit kecambah sawit dan keterampilan yang didapatkan dari warga belajar sudah bisa menyemai bibit kecambah sawit sampai dengan memelihara bibit kecambah sawit walaupun masih dalam pengawasan bimbingan oleh tutor.
