Internet is a great tool to be introduced to SMME (Small Micro Medium Enterprises) as an alternative to promote their products. This program is done to introduce and create an opportunity for several choosen SMMEs to advertise their products through the internet. There are three SMMEs that are selected based on HWPRI reccomendation to be utilized with e-commerce. They are Niwa Crafting, Gazatri Art, and Preman Super. E-commerce and pheripherals to access internet are provided for them. In the end of the program, after receiving software and hardware, the three SMMEs are enthusiasm to receive the programs. However, further investigation is needed to understand the nature of the SMME in using the internet.

Alih teknologi mekanis produksi olahan labu kuning dan stik labu kuning telah dilakukan dan berhasil meningkatan kapasitas produksi dan efisiensi proses dari 1 resep/30 menit menjadi 20 resep/30 menit. Alat mekanis yang diberikan berupa alat mixer, pemipih adonan (noodle maker), kompor industri, dan oven pemanggang kapasitas lima rak. Alat lain yang diberikan berupa freezer untuk penyimpanan beku bahan berupa pasta labu. Alih teknologi mekanis produksi tidak hanya dapat digunakan untuk produk nastar dan stik labu kuning tersebut tetapi juga dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan produk lain yang diproduksi mitra seperti mie sehat aneka sayuran, samiler, dan kerupuk. Mitra KWT Sridedono VI telah berusaha mengimplementasikan GMP walaupun banyak kendala yang dihadapi dalam implementasi tersebut.

Implemented Mocaf flour processing on SMEs still has a weakness in the process of drying cassava chips.The drying process is using natural sun drying. In hot conditions in full sun drying takes 2 to 3 days while in the rainy season between November and April the SMEs unproductive because of the delay time of drying, the chip mocaf grow mushrooms with the consequences of the whole production must be discarded. Thus most of the cluster chose not to produce in the rainy season.Application of forced convectionmechanical dryer is an alternative of drying technology in the fermented cassava chips drying process due have a good quality and a longer storability. Forced convectionmechanical dryer is designed with indirect heating system consisting of a heat exchanger unit, the drying chamber, shelves, blower and frames. Cassava chips drying machine capacity is 40-80 kg/batch is divided into 80 shelves. Fuel is LPG. The results of machine performance test showed an effective drying cassava chips is 3.5 hours by the end of the temperature distribution between 31.9 to 47.6 ° C and a water content of 12.1 to 12.9%, with the desired optimum water content of the cassava chips for further processing into flour mocaf is 12-13%.

Batu is an Agrowisata city, major producer of fruits and vegetables with the development of refined products based on local raw materials is Carang Mas Telo main raw materials used honey sweet potato.In Batu City, there is UKM “Novita”one that has developed innovations honey sweet potato into a carang mas telo, Production system problems faced by SMEs Cluster Carang Mas Telo include low production efficiency due to limited branch Telo mas production technology that is still manual (draining process) so that productivity can not be maximized. The new packaging can be done at least 24 hours to drain the oil conventionally using rice paper. The method of implementation of these activities is the integration of qualitative and quantitative descriptive form of mechanical technology transfer (Spinner Inverter .. The results demonstrate the transfer of technology implementation in the form of mechanical Spinner machine inverter can improve efficiency in working hours (work load becomes lighter 50%) and production costs ( the cost of labor usage reduced by 30%).

African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is widely cultured freshwater species in Indonesia as well as in Jemirahan, Sidoarjo. Two major problems of catfish culture in this area is low survival rate and low margin due to high cost in feed utilization. The purpose of this activity was to evaluate the application of probiotic and alternative feed in catfish culture. Fish fry of 7-9 cm in size was cultivated for 90 days in rearing activity. All tanks were treated by probiotic during one cycle of culture. Probiotic was directly given to the water and administered by feed. The results showed that survival rates obtained during cultured periods was 92%. Meanwhile, feed conversion ratio value was 1.5. It can be concluded that probiotic application was able to improve the survival rate and the use of alternative feed was able to replace commercial feed.

Lobster Air Tawar (LAT) merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang bernilai ekonomis dan sudah banyak dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat. Masyarakat banyak memperdagangkan lobster ini untuk keperluan konsumsi maupun hiasan akuarium. Semakin tingginya permintaan akan Lobster air tawar ini ternyata tidak diimbangi dengan jumlah ketersediaan benih yang ada, bahkan sering terjadi kelangkaan benih dipasaran. Hal ini sebenarnya merupakan sebuah peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi para pembudidaya untuk bisa lebih mengembangkan usaha budidaya terutama komoditas Lobster air tawar ini dan menjaga keberlanjutan produksinya. Akan tetapi kurangnya pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan informasi terkait teknik pembenihan lobster oleh para pembudidaya membuat produksi benih masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu kegiatan aplikasi teknologi pembenihan lobster air tawar menjadi salah satu usaha untuk dapat meningkatkan produksi benih dan mengatasi kelangkaan benih serta menigkatkan profitabilitas pembudidaya lobster.Aplikasi teknologi yang diterapkan pada kegiatan pembenihan lobster air tawar diantaranya yaitu pembuatan akuarium dan shelter, pemijahan lobster menggunakan rasio indukan, dan pemijahan lobster serta pemeliharaan larva di akuarium. Kegiatan ini ternyata meingkatkan produksi benih dan profitabilitas pembudidaya lobster. Produksi benih meningkat 4 kali lipat dibandingkan dengan metode pembenihan konvensional, dengan nilai survival rate (SR) sebesar 75% yang berarti meningkat 35%.Sedangkan tingkat keuntungan atau profitabilitas per tahun dapat dilihat dari nilai pendapatan; keuntungan; R/C ratio; Pay back Period (PP); Break Event Point (BEP)sales; dan BEP unit; serta Rentabilitas berturut-turut yaitu Rp 13.500.000,00; Rp 6.892.000,00; 2.04; 0.96; Rp 949.999,00; dan 948 ekor; serta 104,3%.

The main problem in catfish culture is high mortality and high feed conversion ratio (FCR). The aim of this study was to know the application of probiotic in catfish culture. For nursery, catfish juveniles with size of 2-3 cm was cultivated for 40 days while fish with size of 7-9 cm was cultured for 85 days in grow-out tank. All tanks were administered by probiotic during one culture cycle. Probiotic was directly given to the water and administered by feed. The results showed that survival rates of nursery and grow-out tanks were 95% and 95,8%, respectively. The FCR in the grow-out was 0.76. It can concluded that probiotic application was able to improve the survival rate and the feed conversion ratio in catfish culture.

UMKM SAE merupakan usaha kecil yang menjalankan kegiatan pengolahan limbah sampah plastik, berlokasi di Desa Polorejo, Kecamatan Babadan, Kota Ponorogo. Sebagai usaha penggilingan/pencacahan limbah sampah plastik, pengelola UMKM Sae mempunyai keinginan untuk meningkatkan harga jual limbah plastic. Dalam rangka mendukung keinginan yang positif tersebut, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan adalah: 1). Mengatasi limbah sampah perkotaan melalui proses daur ulang sehingga menjadi produk yang “lebih bermanfaat”. 2). Meningkatkan harga limbah sampah plastic melalui pembuatan produk menjadi plastik cetakan. 3). Usaha padat karya yang akan melibatkan banyak masyarakat sebagai pemilah, pencacah dan pencetak dengan tujuan meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga dan membuka lapangan pekerjaan. Target khusus yang dicapai dari aspek teknis adalah: 1.) Pengenalan teknologi proses dan perlengkapan peralatan pengelolaan limbah sampah plastik yang bermanfaat untuk diversifikasi usaha melalui rancang bangun mesin pengering. 2.) Diversifikasi usaha tersebut diharapkan meningkatkan pendapatan 25%-35% pada usaha pengelolaan limbah sampah plastik UMKM Sae. Target khusus yang ingin di capai dari aspek manajemen usaha adalah 1.) Memperluas jaringan pemasaran dari produk plastik jadi dengan persyaratan produk yang bermutu dan marketable. 2.) Terjalinannya kerja sama dan penggalangan komitmen bersama sehingga semakin mempermudah pembinaan yang berkelanjutan pada usaha ini. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah metode partisipatif yang mencakup: rancang-bangun alat, penyuluhan dan diklat, demonstrasi pemakaian alat serta kegiatan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala sejak dilakukannya kegiatan rancang bangun mesin/alat, penyuluhan, pendidikan dan pelatihan, demonstrasi pemakaian alat, sampai dengan berakhirnya program (pada kegiatan pendampingan). Ditempuh empat tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan, yaitu: 1). Pembinaan manajemen dan administrasi sumber daya. 2). Pengenalan teknologi proses dan perlengkapan peralatan pengelolaan dan pengolahan limbah sampah plastik. 3). Pengembangan dan kerja sama sehingga keberlanjutan usaha tetap terjaga.

Some essential oils have been shown to have activity as a natural pesticide that is effective and safe for humans and the environment. This activity aims to enhance the skills of adolescent Al Kaaf’s orphanage through diversification of citronella oil into products biopesticides. Diversification citronella oil into a biopesticide made through three main activities, namely (1) briefing on biopesticides and knowledge-based biopesticide formulations ways citronella oil, (2) packaging and labeling of products biopesticides and (3) test the activity against H. armigera insect. The results of these activities have improved insight on biopesticides, inspire and enhance creativity and life skills for adolescents are cared for Al Kaaf’s orphanage. Formula of biopesticide that is composed of citronella oil and clove oil (ratio 1: 1) has the power to kill insect pests of H. armigera faster than formula biopesticide consisting of citronella oil and basil oil (ratio 1: 1). The test results also show formula-based biopesticides this essential oil is a contact poison against H. armigera insect pests.

Climate change has affected to all ecosystem around the world, include to marine ecosystem. The effect of climate change is increasing of the sea level temperature, and affected to coral reef on generally. Coral animal are very sensitive to the temperature change,and will influence their skeleton growth. Skeleton at corals can tell us how climate change affected from century ago, trough the reconstruction process. Chemical substances in corals, which strontium (Sr) and calcium (Ca), can show us the variation of that substances inversely with sea level temperature. Porites coral usually used for this reconstruction. To analys the substances, researcher use a tool called ICP-EOS, a tool that measures the intensity of energy/radiation on a substances that changes atom. The activities carried out in Center of Isotop Aplication and Radiation, National Nuclear Energy Agency (PAIR-BATAN). The aim of this study was to find out the method for sample preparation before analys the substances of Sr and Ca.
