Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis motivasi yang paling berpengaruh mendorong Guru Bahasa Inggris Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan untuk berpartisipasi dalam Pelatihan Implementasi Kurikulum 2013, serta untuk mengetahui persepsi mereka mengenai efektifitas Pelatihan Implementasi Kurikulum 2013 tersebut. Dengan menggunakan desain kualitatif, penelitian ini menggambarkan temuan penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi, berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari kuesioner, observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen, terhadap tiga puluh dua guru Bahasa Inggris SMK, satu Instruktur Pelatihan, dan satu Penanggungjawab Pelatihan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi intrinsik responden adalah 141/sangat tinggi, motivasi ekstrinsik 127/tinggi, dan amotivitasi 47/rendah. Selain itu, responden berpendapat bahwa aktifitas, instruktur dan modul pelatihan, efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, kemampuan dan motivasi mereka untuk  menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 sesuai dengan substansi Kurikulum 2013. Sebagai kesimpulan, motivasi yang paling berpengaruh mendorong mereka untuk berpartisipasi dalam Pelatihan Implementasi Kurikulum 2013 adalah motivasi intrinsik, dan menurut mereka pelatihan tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, kemampuan dan motivasi mereka untuk menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 sesuai dengan substansinya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki pemahaman siswa terhadap bacaan teks jenis naratif. Sebelumnya, peneliti menemukan masalah pada sikap siswa dalam membaca teks jenis naratif; nilai sebagian siswa masih rendah pada teks jenis ini. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berinisiatif menggunakan video dengan teks sebagai media untuk memperbaiki pemahaman membaca siswa kelas XI MA Muhammadiyah Palu pada teks naratif. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah ketika 80% dari siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal ≥ 75. Pada siklus pertama terdapat 68.18% siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal ≥75. Pada siklus kedua, terjadi peningkatan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran dan hasil tes menunjukkan persentase siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal adalah 86.36%, artinya hasil pembelajaran telah melewati kriteria sukses penelitian. Kesimpulannya, menggunakan video dengan teks dalam mengajar meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap teks naratif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan keterampilan menulis paragraph deskriptif siswa kelas VII A pada SMP Negeri 15 Palu melalui Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 15 Palu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, obeseravsi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Untuk setiap pertemuan dalam  proses belajar mengajar terdiri dari tiga tahapan yakni: kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan akhir. Pertemuan pertama dan kedua difokuskan pada penjelasan materi paragraf deskriptif dan pertemuan ketiga difokuskan pada evaluasi. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil lembar observasi, lembar catatan dan test. Pembelajaran begitu menyenangkan karena siswa dapat menjelaskan benda yang ada disekitar mereka. Hasil test indidvidu pada siklus 1 adalah sebanyak  19 siswa  mencapai kriteria ketuntasan atau presentasi ketuntasan sebesar 54,28%. Pada siklus 2 sebanyak 27 siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan. Persentasi ketuntasan mencapai 77,14%. Nilai rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 75,42. hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dan pengajaran kontekstual efektif untuk mengembangkan menulis paragraf deskriptif siswa. Abstract

The idea XA grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli Utara can be improved. It was revealed from a study of the problem: (1) how the application of the method of discussion to improve the students express ideas in class XA SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli Utara? And (2) whether the application of the results of the discussion method can improve the students express ideas in class XA SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli Utara?. This study aims to (1) describe the application of the method of discussion to improve the students express ideas in class XA SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli Utara and (2) describe the results of applying the method of discussion to improve the students express ideas in class XA SMA Negeri 1 Tolitoli Utara. Methods of data collection using the oral tests, observation and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative techniques. The results showed that (1) the application of the method of discussion in several stages, The first researcher to prepare articles that will be distributed to students; two researchers set up research pieces express the idea of learning implementation skills; The third researcher prepares a camera to document the activities of teachers and students during the learning process; After that process, the skills students express ideas increased. The percentage of skill express the idea of students has increased at every meeting of the first cycle and the second cycle. Improved skills of students express the idea in the first cycle of 65.75 from 41.33 the initial conditions. In the second cycle increased by 74.67.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan mendengar siswa kelas XI Agama 2 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Palu melalui monolog. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah monolog. Sampel penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, Dimana peneliti sengaja memilih kelas XI Agama 2 siswa Madrasah Aliyah negeri 2 Model Palu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Tes dibagi menjadi 2; pre-test dan post-test, Berdasarkan hasilpre-test dan post-test peneliti menemukan bahwa t-hitung adalah 7,98. Dengan menerapkan 0,05 signifikansi dan 28 derajat kebebasan (df), peneliti menemukan bahwa t-table adalah 1.701. ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung lebih tinggi dari t-table. Ini berarti bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima. Dengan kata lain, Keterampilan mendengarkan siswa kelas XI Agama 2 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Palu dapat ditingkatkan melalui monolog.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is “how is the application of explicit instruction learning model on fast reading learning at grade VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Sigi?, How to improve students’ fast reading skill by applying explicit instruction model”?. The research results show that the application of explicit instruction model in fast reading were done in a phase, namely the orientation phase, percentage, guided training, and self-training. The research results in cycle i which has been done, the average reading speed of students 256.6, unterstanding the content of 57.2 percent with percentage of classical learning mastery was 40,9 percent. Refer to Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) which apply in Indonesian languange learning at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi, the average value is 70 and classical learning achievenmt is 80 percent, The results of this research appears to have not reached the standard of mastery. The action of cycle II, students’ skill was improved. 22 students have shown the speed of reading of reading of 274.9 speed per minute (KPM) with understanding of the average content of 80.6. Refer to Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) which apply in Indonesian languange learning at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi, the result has reached the standar of completeness. Therefore, based on the research results, it can be conclude thet with the application of explicit instruction learning model can improve fast reading skill at grade VII studebts of SMP Negeri 20 Sigi.

Abstract

The title of this research “The Interference  of Buginese to the using Indonesian Language In the Sioyong Traditioal Market Donggala Regency”, the problem of this reearch is (1). How is the Buginese Interference form to the using indonesian language in the sioyong traditional market of Donggala regency, (2). What are the cause interference of buginese factors to the using indonesian language in the sioyong traditional market donggala regency happen. The purpose of this research are : (1) To describe the cause interference of buginese factors to the using indonesian language in the Sioyong traditional market donggala regency happen. The data accumulation was done by some of the techniques. There are: (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation, and (4) Fieldwork notes. There are two sources data. They are primary and secondary data. The method that used in this analysis data is descriptive qualitative method and the data analysis technique was done by (1) Data Accumulation, (2) Data reduction, (3) Data presentation steps (4) concluding step. According of this research could take the some of concludes: the interference happening at : (1). Phonology Interference is the changes of phonem /o/ to be /u/, Phonemes /e/ be /i/, the missing of Phoneme /e/, /h/ and /k/ (2). Morphology interference, (a) affixation interference; is the prefix {pem-} be {pen-}, {pe-} be {pa-}, {ter-} be {ta-}, the using of enclitic {-pi}and {-kik}, and (b) lexical Interference are verb interference, noun interference, adjective interference, question word interference, and numeral word interference. (3) Syntactic interference is the changes of the structure sentence pattern of indonesian language which interferenced by buginese. There are (a) Phrase interference, and (b) Clause Interference.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah teknik Jigsaw II secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI jurusan IPA MAN 2 Model Palu yang terdiri dari enam kelompok paralel. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dan memiliki 50 siswa sebagai sampel yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. XI IPA2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 28 siswa dan XI IPA3 sebagai kelompok kontrol  sebanyak 22 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes yang terdiri dari tes awal dan tes akhir. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik uji-t. Ditemukan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari pemahaman membaca kelompok eksperimen adalah 75.1 lebih besar dari kelompok kontrol, 67.6. Hasil analisis uji-t menggambarkan bahwa dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) 48 (28+22-2) dan level signifikan 0.05, nilai t-hitung, 3.134 lebih tinggi daripada nilai t-table, 2.012. Sehingga, Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulankan bahwa teknik Jigsaw II dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca pada kelas XI siswa MAN 2 Model Palu secara signifikan.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the use of diction and style of language in Tengku Hanan Attaki religious lecture? This study aims to describe the use of diction and style of language in religious lectures Tengku Hanan Attaki. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research and the method used in this research is descriptive method. Sources of data in this study comes from a video lecture Tengku Hanan Attaki religious residing in social media Youtube. Techniques used in data collection is a technique refer and note. Instruments in this study is a laptop to listen to religious lectures and stationery to record. Data analysis techniques in this study follow three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. In this study found the use of diction and style of language in religious lectures Tengku Hanan Attaki. The use of diction in the religious lecture of Tengku hanan Attaki is divided into two, namely the type of meaning and meaning relation. This type of meaning is divided into thirteen, meaning lexical, grammatical, contextual, referential, nonreferential, denotative, connotative, proverbial, colocative, thematic, common and special word, and progem language. The relation of meaning is divided into two, namely synonym and antonym. The use of language style in the Tengku Hanan Attaki religious lecture is divided into three, namely the style of language comparison, linkage, and repetition. Comparative language style is metaphorical and metaphorical, intermediate language style is antonomia, and the style of repetition language is epizeukis.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the characteristics of directive speech act usage cover (1) form, (2) function and (3) strategy of instructional at Madrasah Aliyah Putri Aisyiyah Palu. The data source was obtained from teacher and students’ speech act when learning process occurred. Approach used was pragmatic approach. Method employed was descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through two techniques, was namely (1) recording and (2) observation. The subjects were teacher and students of Madrasah Aliyah Putri Aisyiyah Palu.  Technique of data analysis was interactive model. Analysis of this research covered four stages, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display and (4) verification/drawing conclusion. The research results reveal that learning process at Madrasah Aliyah Putri Aisyiyah Palu consists of (1) command form, (2) inviting form, (3) asking for form, (4) pleasing form, (5) prohibition form, (6) refusing form, (7) question form and (8) statement form. The function of directive speech act of the research consists of: (1) command function, (2) inviting function, (3) asking for function, (4) pleasing function, (5) prohibition function and (6) refusing function. Command function is for commanding, recommending, increasing concentration of the students, testing students’ understanding, (2) inviting function is for invitation, recommendation, increasing students’ concentration, (3) request function is for requesting, offering, conducive a situation, testing students’ understanding, (4) pleasing function is for pleasing, allowing, increasing students’ understanding, (5) prohibition function is for prohibition, prevention, conducive a situation and (6) refusing function is for refusing, limiting explanation, avoiding. Strategies used in directive speech act were direct and indirect strategy. The direct strategy comprised (1) direct command, (2) direct inviting, (3) direct requesting, (4) direct pleasing, (5) direct prohibition and (6) direct refusing. Meanwhile, indirect strategy comprised (1) indirect question and (2) indirect statement with various functions that referred behind the speech depend on the context.
