Journal Lisanuna: The present this journal is a place for lecturers in the Departement of Arabic Language Education Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers and Lecturers of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh to general channel their ideas the study of Arabic and learning, as well as observers forum and Arabic educational practitioners to distribute writing, ideas study and insights, both from within the UIN Ar-Raniry campus environment and from outside UIN Ar-Raniry campus, including Arabic teachers at Madrasah and Public School. Currently, there is still minimal media to facilitate Arabic scientific articles studying Arabic and learning. The Journal Lisanuna Departement Arabic Language Education Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher UIN Ar-Raniry wishes contribute to study of Arabic studies and learning too.

Bloom’s Taxonomy has become one of the most widely used frameworks in developing learning objectives, indicators, and educational assessments across various subjects. In the context of Arabic language learning, however, the application of Bloom’s Taxonomy often raises conceptual and pedagogical challenges because language learning does not merely involve cognitive processes, but also communicative, performative, and sociolinguistic competencies. This article aims to analyze the relevance of Bloom’s Taxonomy in Arabic language learning, examine the problems arising from its implementation in formulating learning objectives and indicators, and propose an integrative approach that combines cognitive demands with communicative competence. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods by reviewing educational theories, language learning theories, and recent studies related to Bloom’s Taxonomy and communicative language teaching. The findings indicate that Bloom’s Taxonomy remains relevant, especially in analytical and text-comprehension aspects of Arabic learning. Nevertheless, its application should be adapted to the communicative nature of language learning. Therefore, Arabic learning objectives should not merely focus on cognitive processes but should also integrate social language functions, contextual communication, and language performance. This article also proposes an integrative conceptual model that connects Bloom’s cognitive domain with communicative competence in Arabic language learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Flipa Clip animated video media in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery among students of MTsS Darul Hikmah Kaju Aceh. The researcher used an experimental design, specifically the pretest-posttest model, which was conducted in one class. The sample of this study consisted of 22 first-grade students, while the population of this study was all students totaling 123 students. The data collection instrument used pretest, posttest, and questionnaire questions by testing the validity of the data through a T-test. The results showed an increase in the average value from 16.80 in the pretest to 19.80 in the posttest. The data were analyzed using a t-test with a t-table value at the 0.05% level of 2.080 and a t-count value of 3.42, which showed a significant difference between the two. This indicates that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, thus categorizing this study as successful. Furthermore, the results of the student questionnaire revealed a high level of interest and participation, as well as ease in understanding and mastering vocabulary, and facilitated their learning using the Flipa Clip animated video tool. Arabic has occupied a central position in Islamic civilization since the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, yet academic studies on the practice of language skills (maharah lughawiyah) during the prophetic period remain very limited; most previous research has focused on the context of modern Arabic learning, while its historical roots during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW have not been extensively examined through a historical-linguistic approach. This study aims to describe and analyze the practice of maharah lughawiyah, encompassing istima' (listening), kalam (speaking), qira'ah (reading), and kitabah (writing), during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as well as to examine its relevance to contemporary Arabic learning. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, using primary data sourced from the Qur'an, hadith, and books of Sirah Nabawiyah, as well as secondary data from relevant academic literature, which were then analyzed through a historical approach to understand the social context of seventh-century Arab society and a linguistic approach to identify forms of language skill practices. The findings show that the four maharah were applied in an integrated manner in early Islamic education: maharah al-istima’ developed through the tradition of musyafahah and Qur'anic memorization, maharah al-kalam was evident in preaching and dialogue activities, maharah al-qira’ah developed through Qur'anic learning and the Prophet's literacy policies, while maharah al-kitabah developed through the recording of revelation and diplomatic correspondence. This study concludes that the language learning model during the Prophet's era was characterized as integrative, communicative, and contextual, and holds strong relevance for strengthening the language environment (bi’ah lughawiyah) in contemporary Arabic learning, particularly in Islamic higher education institutions.
