Abstract

This research was conducted at the Regional Development PlanningBoard of Riau Province. With the aim to know and analyze the influence ofcompetence and work discipline on the performance of employees who mediatejob satisfaction of employees at the Regional Development Planning Board ofRiau Province. Where the population is all employees of the RegionalDevelopment Planning Board of Riau Province which amounted to 115 people.The sample used in this research is 115 people taken with census method and dataprocessing using path analysis method with SPSS program.Based on the results ofthe test if the data by using the path analysis can be taken several conclusions,namely: Competence has a significant effect on employee performance at theRegional Development Planning Board of Riau Province, Work discipline has asignificant influence on employee performance at the Regional DevelopmentPlanning Board Riau Province, Satisfaction work has a significant influence onthe performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Board ofRiau Province, Job Satisfaction can strengthen the influence of competence onemployee performance at the Regional Development Planning Board of RiauProvince, Job satisfaction can strengthen the influence of work discipline onemployee performance at the Regional Development Planning Agency of Riau.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality factors in theGraduate Program of Universitas Riau on student satisfaction and tendency ofwords of mouth among students of Graduate Program of Universitas Riau.Analysis of data influence between research variables using structural equationmodeling (SEM) approach. SEM is a multivariate analysis used to analyzerelationships among variables. One of the software that can be used is IBM SPSSAmos Version 21. Amos was chosen because of the ease in using graphic interface(Amos Graphic) to describe the structural model. Data were obtained from 139respondents by filling out questionnaires. SEM model after experiencing severalstages and modifications have met the criteria of goodness of fit with the value ofeach index are: (a) chi-square= 34,852; (b) cmin/df= 1,452; (c) probabilitas=0,071; (d) GFI= 0,957; (e) AGFI= 0,905; (f) CFI= 0,977; (g) TLI= 0,956; dan(h) RMSEA= 0,057. By looking at the value of iritical, ratio regression weightmore than 1.65 and p-value <0,05, it can be concluded that the service qualityfactor has a significant effect on the student satisfaction and on the factor ofwords of mouth, and also the student satisfaction factor also influence the factorof words of mouth. Furthermore Effect total influence of variable Quality ofservice to student satisfaction variable = 0,808 (80,8%) and to variable of Wordsof mouth = 0,403 (40,3%). While the total effect of Student Satisfaction variableto variable Words of mouth = 0,396 (39,6%). Then the direct influence of variableQuality of service to variable Words of mouth = 0,083 (8,3%) and indirectinfluence of variable Quality of service to variable of Words of mouth = 0,320(32%).

Abstract

Competition in the detergent powder industry for families isincreasingly increasing, this is indicated by the presence of various brands andproduct variants. Like Rinso, Daia, Attack and others. So the company must havevarious strategies to be able to survive in the competition. One product that isfacing this competition is the Daia 900 detergent. To deal with this competition,the company must be able to understand the factors that influence consumerpurchasing decisions. Among those that will be examined are the issues ofAdvertising, Sales Promotion, Wom, and Brand image.The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of advertising, salespromotion, and WOM on brand image and the decision to buy 900 detergent inhousewives in the city of Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on Housewivesin the City of Pekanbaru with the sample used as many as 200 respondents whoused the 900 Detergent Daia. Data collection techniques used werequestionnaires with a Likert scale. SEM analysis is a hypothesis testing tool usingAMOS 21 and SPSS 17.00 for Windows.Based on the results of the study, there are the Effects of Advertisements,Sales Promotions, and WOMs on Brand images and the 900 Detergent PurchaseDecision on Housewives in Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of these studies,the company must always select the advertising and sales promotion media that are used effectively, and establish positive WOM communication.

Abstract

Generally, the national economy is facing a tough challenge, globaleconomic conditions are less favorable lead to higher competition led in thedevelopment of banking sectors. To be a winner in business competition, bankmust have a innovation.This research aimed to analyze the effect of perceivedusefulness and easy of use on intention and adoptionof internet banking towardcustomers in PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Pangkalan KerinciBranch. The research was conducted quantitatively with causal and descriptiveresearch design. The amounts of sample are 100 customers by using proportionalstratified random sampling method. Data collection techniques used in thisresearch is a survey and observation. Measurement scale used is the Likert scale.The data analysis technique used is the analysis of Partial Least Square (PLS)with SmartPLS 3.2.3 applications.The results showed that perceived usefulnes andeasy of use affect significantly positive toward intention but not to adoption. Whilecustomer’s intention of usage has a significant and positive affect toward adoption of internet banking

Abstract

This study aims to measure the influence of lifestyle and technology onattitudes and decisions on the use of credit cards at the Pekanbaru state bankpekanbaru. The population in this study is the customer of the Pekanbaru branchof the Negara Indonesia bank by determining the number of samples using theSlovin formula, and obtained a sample of 100 people from a total population of243,770 people, using sample probability using the cluster random samplingmethod. Data analysis using Partial Keast Square with the help of SmartPLSversion 3.0.The results of calculations that have been done that the magnitude of thecoefficient of influence of variable X1 (Lifestyle) on the Y2 variable (use decision)is 0.362 with a t-statistic value of 2.959 greater than the t-table value of 1.290.While the magnitude of the effect coefficient of variable X2 (Technology) on thevariable Y2 (Use Decision) obtained is 0.793 with a t-statistic value of 5.514greater than the t-table value of 1.290. The magnitude of the coefficient ofinfluence of variable Y1 (attitude) on the variable Y2 (Use Decision) obtained is0.304 with a t-statistic value of 1.587 greater than the t-table value of 1.290.The results of the study that lifestyle is very influential on the use decisionsin the statement of interest in using a credit card and adding to the pride of pridein using credit cards and the development of technology is very influential on theuse decision to help pay more effective and efficient and safe in making payments.

Abstract

This research was conducted aimed at knowing the effect of the workenvironment, work stress, and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT. EkaDura Indonesia in Rokan Hulu Regency. The benefits of research are expected tobe able to contribute to the benefits of the company and scientific facilities.The population in this study were all employees of PT. Eka Dura Indonesiain Rokan Hulu Regency. The research sample was all employees of PT. Eka DuraIndonesia, Rokan Hulu Regency, part of production. The method of datacollection is by using interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniquesusing multiple linear regression analysis.The results showed partially, work environment, work stress, and jobsatisfaction had a significant influence on turnover intention. Simultaneously, theindependent variables in this study were able to provide a significant influence on the turnover intention variable

Abstract

As the current monopoly traffic accident insurance, nowadays JasaRaharja has faced with the discourse of losing its monopoly privilege. Therefore,Jasa Raharja has to make sure that their customers would be highly satisfied. Thisstudy aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of brand activation and brandexperience toward satisfaction mediated by brand awareness. Population arecustomers who have claimed insurance coverage to Jasa Raharja. The number of96 samples taken by using Slovin and purposive sampling approach. Descriptiveand SEM-PLS employed to analyze the data. The study reveals that brandactivation has significant effect towards brand experience but not significanttowards customer satisfaction. On the other hand, brand experience directlysignificant effect towards customer satisfaction. The mediating role brandawareness is significant on the effect of brand experience towards customersatisfaction, but not significant on the effect of brand activation towards customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of Product Quality, Brand Imageand Lifestyle on Purchasing Decisions and Brand Loyalty in Apple BrandSmartphone Users in Pekanbaru City. This study uses primary data, namely dataobtained from interviews and questionnaires to consumers who have purchasedApple Brand Smartphones. Secondary data obtained relates to the literaturerelating to researchers. The sample in this study was 270 consumers, taken bypurposive sampling method. The analytical method used in this study is to use theStructural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with the help of the AMOS program.The results of the study show that 1) Product quality has a positive andsignificant effect on purchasing decisions. 2) Brand image has a positive andsignificant effect on purchasing decisions. 3) Lifestyle has a positive andsignificant effect on purchasing decisions, and 4) Purchasing decisions have a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty

Abstract

This research is purposed for knowing the influence of E-Marketing Mixand Word of Mouth towards Buying Decision. While the benefits of this research is toanalyze the influence of E-Marketing Mix and Word of Mouth towards BuyingDecision on online shop users at Pekanbaru City. Data for the research are collectedwith questionaire which measured with Likert scale so te respondents has options tochoose which answers that suits each of them. Population on this research are onlineshop users who use among Lazada.co.id, Bukalapak.com, and Tokopedia.com andlive at Pekanbaru City where the population itself can not be estimated. As for thesample collection technique the researcher use the maximum likelihood techniquewith AMOS as an analysis for the structural equation and measurement model. Theresult of the research shows us that 1) E-Marketing Mix has a significantly positiveinfluence towards Buying Decision, 2) E-Marketing Mix has a significantly positiveinfluece towards Word of Mouth, 3) Word of Mouth has a significantly positive influece towards Buying Decision

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of empowerment, self-efficacyand organizational commitment on job satisfaction and organizational citizenshipbehavior (OCB) of Civil Servants of the Research and Development Agency ofRiau Province.The population of the study was the Civil Servants of the Research andDevelopment Agency of Riau Province as many as 86 employees. Sampling in thisstudy using the census method, which according to this method all employees canbe examined. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. The analyticalmethod used path analysis with the help of the SPSS program.The results of this study indicate that there was a positive and significantinfluence between empowerment, self-efficacy and commitment organizational tojob satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. However, in this studythe results showed that job satisfaction did not mediate intervening empowermenteffects, self-efficacy and organizational commitment to Organizational CitizenshipBehavior.
