Abstract

In General, the plate of building will restrain the live load from various activities on it. Furthermore, this live load may produce structural vibrations which cause the inconvenient condition for the users.  The study aims to evaluate the vibrations of the plate based on testing on fieldand numerical analysis using SAP2000 Software. The analysis calcutionsaccording to ISO 2631-2 : 2003 and steel design guide 11th series floor vibrations due to human activity The measurement on field shows that the compression strength of reinforced concrete for the plate and beams are between K-350 and K-400 which means both of them are medium quality concrete in addition. Thefrequencies of plate are between 12,94 - 23,29 Hz with the acceleration rates of 0,235 - 1,13 m/s². The numerical analysis results that the frequences of plate in 8,05 Hz and 8,13 Hz frequences due to walking load with the accelerations under 0,5% g. Based on both of analysis is concluded that the plate E building is a rigid structure. Keywords: Beam, Plate, Vibrations and Acceleration .

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan transportasi yang pesat pasti selalu muncul permasalahan lalu lintas yang kompleks dalam sarana dan prasarana transportasi, terutama pada transportasi perkotaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis karakteristik jalan dan mengetahui hubungan antara volume, kecepatan dan kepadatan pada jalan perkotaan yang ada di Bandar Lampung jalan Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam.Penelitian ini menggunakan model Greenshield sebagai metodenya. Metode ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa hubungan antara kecepatan dan kepadatan bersifat linier sehinggadapat melihat bagaimana pola hubungan antara kecepatan, kepadatan dan volume.Hasil dari penelitian ini didapat volume arus lalu lintas puncak terjadi pada pagi dan sore hari sebesar 15528,75 smp/jam arah menuju unila dan 1313,06 smp/jam menuju kedaton pada pagi hari. Kecepatan lalu lintas tertinggi terjadi pada pagi dan sore hari sebesar 22,25 km/jam menuju arah unila dan 28,29 km/jam menuju arah kedaton dan kepadatan lalu lintas tertinggi terjadi pada pagi dan sore hari yaitu sebesar 617,09 smp/km menuju arah kedaton dan 752,91 smp/km menuju arah unila pada pagi hari. Kata kunci:Greenshield;JalanPerkotaan;Hubungan Volume

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan iklim tropis yang memiliki dua musim, musim kemarau dan musim hujan. Pengukuran curah hujan di Indonesia dilakukan oleh beberapa badan, salah satu diantaranya adalah Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) dan juga TRMM NASA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung nilai korelasi data curah hujan antara TRMM dan BMKG dengan mencari persamaan hubungan antar data dan menganalisis data curah hujannya. Data yang digunakan merupakan curah hujan harian dari tahun 1998-2012. Data dianalisis dalam bentuk data 7 harian, bulanan, dan tahunan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan jika data curah hujan yang diukur oleh TRMM memiliki kesamaan pola distribusi temporal curah hujan yang diukur oleh BMKG. Nilai korelasi antara data TRMM dan BMKG menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik jika menggunakan data bulanan, dimana nilai korelasi yang terbesar dari ketiga stasiun adalah,7281 di Stasiun Meteorologi H. Asan Hananjoedin dan yang terkecil adalah 0,5829 di Stasiun Meteorologi Depati Amir.

Abstract

The importance of soil as construction material needs to be considered carefully. With various soil conditions, a physical test is required to discover the characteristics of the soil and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test in a laboratory to determine the bearing capacity of the basic land (subgrade). This research was conducted to assess the suitability of the CBR test value with two different compaction tools. The results of this study showed that the soils were classified into A-6 clay soil type. On the modified proctor compaction test, the maximum weight volume (γdmaks) was 1,70 gr/cm3, while the compaction with modified press tool obtained 1,75 gr/cm3. Based on the results of the values obtained from CBR standard test is 11,5% and 1,32% for the soaked sample .While the CBR value without immersion with modified press tool are 7,7% for 3 MPa, 16,2% for 6 MPa, 19,5% for 9 MPa, 20,5% for 12 Mpa. For the soaked samples are 1,53% for 3 Mpa, 2,7% for 6 Mpa, 3,56% for 9 Mpa, and 4,33% for 12 Mpa. In conclusion, the CBR value escalation is higher when using the modified pressure tool compared with the CBR standard method.

Abstract

The flexural strength of rigid pavement is the dominant parameter that influences the concrete pavement performance. In general, concrete is weak against its flexural tensile strength. One alternative that can be used to increase its flexural tensile strength is by adding artificial fibers and/or natural fibers to the concrete mixture. The purpose of this research is to find the effect of adding gelam bark fibers towards compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength of concrete using PCC cement. In this study, the concrete mixture was added with various percentages of fiber content i.e. 0,2%; 0,3%; 0,4%; 0,6%. The concrete was tested and compared its value of compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength. The results of this study showed that the most influential use of fiber for concrete pavement was 0,4%. The addition of gelam bark fiber by 0,4% could increase the tensile strength of the concrete mixture aged 28 days and 56 days respectively by 6,95% and 23.72% toward the concrete without fibers. The testing of concrete at 28 days age results the split tensile strength value decreased by 4,2% and the compressive strength test decreased by 4,7%.Keywords: Gelam bark fiber, PCC cement, OPC cement, flexural tensile strength, split tensile strength and compressive strength

Abstract

With various soil conditions, a physical test is required to discover the characteristics of the soil and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test in a laboratory to determine the bearing capacity of the basic land (subgrade). This research was conducted to assess the suitability of the CBR test value with two different compaction tools.The results of the CBR test with the collision method without immersion resulted in the design CBR value of 7.7% and the CBR value of the immersion sample of 3.6%. Meanwhile, the CBR test using a pressure modification device, the CBR values obtained in the samples not immersed at a pressure of 3 MPa, 6 MPa, 9 MPa, and 12 MPa, were 4.2%, 6.8%, 9.8%, and 11.4%. The CBR valuesfor the immersion samples were 2.95%, 4.2%, 4.45%, and 4.56%. The results obtained from the design CBR value of the pressure method with a pressure of 6MPa which is closest to the collision CBR value with a difference of 0.9% for no immersion and 0.6% for immersion. The assumption that the difference between the two methods is due to the compaction energy of 6 MPa strength is not the same as the energy produced from the use of hammer energy according to ASTM D 698, Test Method for Laboratory Compaction Characteristics.

Abstract

The impact of the shadow terminal has caused the congestion and the unrest for road users. This is due to side obstructions caused by pedestrians, buses, cars, and other transportation waiting and picking up passengers around the road, resulting in buildup around the shadow terminal. As a result of the accumulation around the shadow terminal, it caused traffic jams on the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road. In connection with the above problems, it is necessary to study the impact of the shadow terminal on the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road section which can then be compared with the performance of the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road in the absence of a shadow terminal, in order to find out how much traffic performance changes on Soekarno Hatta road - Natar due to the shadow terminal. Thus, this study aims to determine the performance of the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road when there is a shadow terminal and when there is no shadow terminal. The results of this study indicate that there is a change in the value of the side friction in the condition of the shadow terminal on Monday with an event weight of 314 events with a side drag in the absence of a shadow terminal of 213 events. The difference in the value of the side friction will result in a decrease in the value of road capacity, degree of saturation and level of road services. Key words : Road Performance, Side Obstructions, Degree of Saturation, Capacity, Level of Service.

Abstract

Rainfall in Bandar Lampung has a different distribution value for each station which is calculated to carry out the annual maximum daily rain forecast required in road planning, water building and drainage. Getting rain distribution values requires a method that meets the requirements of Cs, Ck and Cv. But this study reviews methods that have a correlation value close to the value of one. In this study, a validation test was carried out in advance to normalize values> 500 mm which were then calculated through the Normal, Log Normal, Gumbel and Log Pearson III methods. Look at the correlation value of each method with a scatter diagram. Analysis of the calculation of the rain distribution method at the Sukarame rain station (PH-003) Log Normal method has a value of 0.96 which has a correlation coefficient value that is closest to the value of 1 (one) among the other methods in all rain stations. Log Normal method has the best average correlation value that is 0.85 then the Normal method has a mean correlation value of 0.74 followed by Log Pearson III method with an average correlation value of 0.35 and the mean correlation value of the Gumbel method -0.01. The correlation value obtained using the Log Normal method is seen both at Sumberejo, Sukarame and Pahoman stations. However, at the Sumur Putri station the value of the Log Pearson III correlation, with the normal log method, the data correlation value is the best because the data fluctuations are close to the value of 1 compared to other methods. Keywords: Correlation, Rainfall, Normal Method, Log Normal Method, Gumbel Method, Log Pearson III Method.

Abstract

Soil is the materials that has a very important role to support the construction on it. Soil permeability value for every construction is different. Such differences affect the strength of a civil construction to be built. The problem that is caused by settlement as seen in Palembapang, Umbul Ligoh, the soil is soft in the rainy season and its bearing capacity becomes low, so it makes a lot of construction problems. Therefore it is necessary to attempt to manipulate the soil permeability value by adding cement as an additive ingredients with the percentage of 0%, 4%, 8% and 12% to a soil permeability values obtained in order to meet the standard of civil construction to be built. Cement has very fine particles so that it can fill the soil pores and has a function as a strong binder. In testing physical properties, the soil includes the classification of A-7-6 soil or poorly categorized soil types.Due to cement addition into soft clay, compaction with the standard proctor experienced a decrease the optimum moisture content (OMC) and an increase in the weight of maximum dry volume, then in the permeability test, the permeability coefficient decreased 2,52%. The composition of the cement mixture affects the value of soil permeability. The lower permeability value follows the amount of cement mixture on the soil. The most change on permeability coefficient was recorded by the sample mixed with 12% of cement.

Abstract

Tanah memiliki peranan penting dalam pekerjaan Teknik Sipil maka dari itu sifat buruk padatanah harus diperhatikan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan akibat sifat buruk pada tanah makaperbaikan terhadap tanah dilakukan yaitu dengan metode stabilisasi tanah.Penelitian ini menggunakan tanah lempung yang diambil dari Desa Marga Kaya, LampungSelatan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara konsolidasi dan CBR Rendaman untukmencari perbandingan pengaruh penambahan Na2CO3 terhadap Swelling tanah lempung denganpenambahan kadar Na2CO3 yaitu 4%, 8% dan 12%.Tanah dari Desa Marga Kaya, Lampung Selatan berdasarkan klasifikasi AASHTO yaitu kelompokA-7-6 tanah lempung kategori tanah dasar jelek. Untuk kadar 4% Na2CO3 merupakan kelompokA-7-6, sedangkan kadar 8% dan 12% Na2CO3 merupakan kelompok A-6 dengan kategori tanahdasar biasa. Untuk nilai Swelling tanah yang dicampur dengan Na2CO3 mengalami penurunandari kedua metode yaitu menggunakan Konsolidasi dan CBR Rendaman.
