Abstract

This study explores the leadership type most impacting organizational climate, creativity, and innovation in game studios. This study also addresses a gap in previous studies: organizational creativity's role in producing innovative products. This quantitative study of 68 respondents consisting of managers/owners and employees of game studios in Indonesia analyzes the type of leadership that affects organizational climate, creativity, and, ultimately, corporate innovation using an electronic survey during the COVID-19 pandemic. The respondents were acquired by invitations dispersed with the help of managing members of Asosiasi Game Indonesia and game developer social networks. The survey results were analyzed using the structural equation modeling partial least squares technique (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3 software. This study shows that transformational leadership is the dominant leadership type and positively impacts a supportive organizational climate; such a climate also impacts organizational creativity. Transformational leadership also affects the kind of innovation in game studios. Understanding the factors of producing creative and innovative products in creative teams should improve the growth of video game producers. Abstract

nformation spreads rapidly through social media, with a steady increase in social media users in Indonesia each year. This presents an important concern for marketers, particularly in the automotive industry, which has experienced growth in car sales in 2021. Information disseminated between social media users, known as electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), is believed to have an impact on consumers' purchase intentions. Therefore, this research aims to examine the influence of e-WOM on social media affects the purchase intention of a car in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative research approach with the application of Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. Data collection is conducted with the purposive sampling technique, targeting Generation X respondents in Indonesia who actively use social media and feels interested to buy a car. The questionnaire is distributed via Google Forms, and data analysis is conducted by SPSS 24 and SmartPLS 3. From 119 respondents, trust and brand awareness emerge as the key factors that increase purchase intention for a car in Generation X. Additionally, trust and brand awareness act as mediators between e-WOM and purchase intention, because e-WOM does not directly impact purchase intention. In addition, this study does not provide evidence supporting the moderating role of price. In conclusion, car marketers in Indonesia should effectively manage the spread of e-WOM information on social media platform.s This information has the potential to enhance consumer brand trust and awareness, influencing the emergence of their purchase intentions. Keywords: brand awareness, e-wom, generation x, purchase intention, social media

Abstract

To cope with unprecedented change, remote work provides organizations with an option for a flexible work arrangement (FWA) environment to maintain performance during turbulent situations; recent research has reported that the practice has gained popularity among employees. It is essential to deepen our knowledge about the performance of employees in the context of FWA because the results of previous studies need to be more consistent. This study examines the mediating role of work engagement and supervisor support on the relationship between FWA and team member performance. The data were collected from 316 employees working in digital startup companies in Indonesia. The research is analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that work engagement and supervisor support as mediating roles affect the relationship between FWA and employee performance. The results found work engagement as a mediating relationship between supervisor support and employee performance. Supervisory support in the form of support for employees makes them feel more valued, and it affects job performance. High work involvement improves employee performance while practicing flexible work arrangements. Abstract

The large number of residential properties makes market competition increase. Many factors can influence consumer behavior before deciding to buy a product. The level of knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes can be factors that can influence consumer intentions to buy housing with the urban farming concept. This study aims to analyze the effect of knowledge, perceptions and attitudes on the intention to buy a house with the concept of urban farming. The scope of discussion in this study is limited to the influence of demographic characteristics, knowledge, perceptions, and attitude variables regarding the models and benefits of urban farming and the interest in buying residential real estate in the city of Makassar. The data analysis method used is a quantitative method. The collected data is processed using SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis tools with the PLS (Partial Least Squares) approach. The results obtained were 202 respondents and showed that the knowledge variable did not have a significant effect on consumer interest in buying a house with the urban farming concept. However, if it is mediated by attitude and perception variables, the result is that knowledge variables indirectly affect consumer interest. Perception and attitude variables have a significant direct effect on consumer buying interest. The results of the study also show that high prices will affect consumer buying interest. The managerial implication of this research is that developers can use the results of this research to develop their marketing strategies to attract consumers to buy houses. Keywords: intention to buy, knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, urban farming

Abstract

Based on urban homes' typical features and socioeconomic characteristics, this experimental research examined consumer behavior patterns regarding energy efficiency and the factors influencing energy saving. This research investigated the idea of "nudge" with power conservation. This research used the word "Nudge" in the chosen architectural scheme to reduce residential power use to prevent the rebound effect. We found that 'nudged' households could lower their power usage costs by utilizing societal norms. The "Nudge" criteria we included discussed general knowledge of energy saving and the usage of societal norms that encourage replacing conventional lighting with energy-efficient ones. In this research, sixty-two homes were chosen and given a "nudge" over three months. The homes' sizes must range from 40 to 200 square meters and have had current electrical accounts for at least a year. This research in Bantul was intended to investigate the impact of "home energy reporting" and how social norms, curtailment, and energy conservation practices differ depending on shared traits like the home's features and the owner's socioeconomic status. According to this research, "social norms and curtailments" can lower home power usage, resulting in electricity cost savings of up to 16.305 percent for three months compared to typical consumption. On the savings that were realized, there was no rebound impact. Keywords: rebound effect, household energy efficiency, social norms, nudge, saving behavior

Abstract

With the rising popularity of food vlogger in Indonesia, extant studies have not examined the effect of watching their content on viewers’ intention to mimic vloggers’ behaviors and to buy food products that they recommend. Therefore, in this study, we aim to examine the role of mimicry desire as the mediating variable that explains the relationship between food vlogger's credibility and similarity (homophily) on viewer's purchase intention. By using convenience sampling method, this study uses data obtained from an online survey to the viewers of well-known Indonesian food vlogger on Youtube. Further, by using PLS-SEM in the data analysis, our results indicate the positive role of credibility, homophily, and mimicry desire in explaining viewers’ purchase intention. In addition, our result show the role of mimicry desire as a full mediating variable in explaining the relationship between similarity (homophily) on purchase intention. Keywords: food vlogger, mimicry desire, purchase intention, Youtube, homophily

Abstract

Nurses are human resources with the most significant number of all human resources in hospitals and a component that influences the quality of hospital services. Health services can be adequately provided if human resources such as nurses are met in quality and quantity. Currently, a private hospital in Bogor district still needs help completing the number of nurses requirement. Highly turnover rate of nurses occurred in the period 2020 to 2022. This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on nurses' turnover intentions. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and interviews. This study uses the census method, the nurses who will be respondents are all nurses with a minimum working period of six months totaling 119 nurses. The analytical method used in this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction has a positive and nonsignificant influence on turnover intentions; it means that job satisfaction is relatively high but cannot reduce the desire of nurses to leave. At the same time, organizational commitment negatively and significantly influences turnover intentions. Simultaneous test results greatly influence job satisfaction and corporate loyalty on turnover intentions. To keep the work situation conducive, hospital management can maintain and even improve the policies that have been implemented so far, namely policies that are increasingly profitable for nurses, one of which is performance appraisal for nurse members. Keywords: hospital, job satisfaction, nurses, organizational commitment, turnover intentions
