Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between a firm's financial and environmental performance and the quality of the resulting corporate sustainability report. The analysis is conducted on 36 Indonesian listed firms in three sectors: primary industry and chemicals, mining, and consumer goods. Pooled Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model is used to identify the strength of the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The results show that, with firm age and size serving as the control variables, Return on Equity, Stock Performance, and Environmental Risk Management considerably positively affect a firm's Corporate Sustainability Performance (CSP). According to the findings, the independent variables ROE, environmental risk management, and stock performance impact the firm's corporate sustainability performance quality, which is significant over the long run. Therefore, businesses should consider improving CSP quality as a strategic investment and maintain a solid rapport with stakeholders. By examining how a firm's financial performance and environmental risk management affect the quality of CSP, this study contributes to the CSP field. Abstract

One of the factors that cause environmental performance articles is debated because many researchers generate different results. This study aims to map research topics, identify keyword definitions, theory, methodology, and research settings, and give the agenda for further research. This research is a bibliometric analysis design. A total of 55 articles use from 1996-2020. The fifth stage of bibliometric analysis is defining keywords, initial search results, refining search results, compiling initial data, and analysing data. It raised 3 clusters VOSviewer, the red, green, and blue clusters. The results show that the main point on the VOSviewer map is environmental performance (research topic) in the red zone cluster one. Define environmental performance as the results of the organization in managing its environmental impact. The theoretical point of view, the theory of legitimacy and stakeholder, has been used to explain this phenomenon. This study identifies the predominance of quantitative approaches to environmental performance and finds the most typical subjects are the United States and developed countries. The articles reviewed were mainly carried out in developed countries (60%) and to a lesser extent in developing countries (40%), mainly Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. Keywords: Bibliometric analysis, decision-making, environmental performance, mapping, VOSviewer

Abstract

Fintech is an innovation in financial services with the application of modern technology to introduce practicality, convenience, ease of access, and affordable costs. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control in the theory of planned behavior on interest in utilizing fintech, using religiosity as a moderation variable. This research is a quantitative study with explanatory research method to prove the research hypotheses. Data were gathered through the distribution of questionnaires to 570 respondents who had or were utilizing fintech, and analyzed using partial least squares (PLS). The findings revealed that attitudes, subjective standards, and behavioral control had a substantial impact on interest in utilizing fintech, while religiosity does not moderate the relationship between variables. As a result, fintech service providers are advised to increase positive assessments of the use of fintech services, to make use of social media, and to collaborate with influencers to hype up Indonesians' interest in using fintech. The research findings could be useful for increasing interest in utilizing fintech by engaging in tangible consumer financial and technology education that supports wider adoption of fintech. Abstract

This research examined the influence of good corporate governance (GCG) mechanisms and their relation to Integrated Reporting (IR) on company value in the BUMN sub-sector, consisting of banking and non-banking. The data used in this study were secondary in the form of time series sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period of 2017-2021. The number of companies analyzed in this study was 23 companies. The GCG components analyzed consisted of managerial ownership (KM), institutional ownership (KINS), and independent commissioners (KIND), as well as integrating reporting (IR) as moderating variables. Data processing in this study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The findings show that non-bank and accumulative firms, institutional ownership variables, and independent commissioners all have a significant impact on firm value. Meanwhile, in banking firms, the variable of managerial ownership has a significant impact on firm value. The impact of GCG on company value has shifted significantly after being moderated by IR. In banking firms, one variable (KM) has a significant effect on firm value, whereas KINS and KIND have no significant effect, and even KINS has a negative interaction. KINS and KIND have a significant effect in non-bank companies, but only KINS has a positive effect. In absolute terms, the influence of IR is positive for KM and KIND, but has no significant implications for KINS. Abstract

This study examines herding behavior in Indonesian capital market during COVID-19 pandemic. We assume, COVID-19 announcement has a black swan effect on the Indonesian capital market, which results in behavioral anomalies such as herding behavior. Herding can cause high volatility and market destabilization. This research used Cross-Sectional Absolute Deviation (CSAD) method to determine herding behavior in nine sectors (225 companies) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) caused by black swan effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. The samples were stocks in nine sectors in IDX, consisting of 225 companies. The observation period is from February 01, 2018, to March 31, 2022. The study found that JKBIND (basic industry and chemicals) is the only sector that tends to herd. Meanwhile, there was no tendency for herding to occur in the other eight sectors. This study found that Indonesian capital market is quite rational because it is stable during the COVID-19 period (only one sector has a herding behavior trend). Herding behavior is an interesting topic during crisis periods, when investors share their fears and are vulnerable to large-scale financial panics. This research can increase the understanding of the capital market and the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic for investors and regulators. Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the business actors in Indonesia that have considerable potential in supporting the national economy. Business incubators are one of the parties that can play a role in assisting the growth and development of micro, small and medium enterprises, but in practice business incubators face various limitations related to human resources, capital, facilities, coaching, technology, market potential and regulations. The influence of these limitations has an impact on the performance of mentoring or coaching, so it is necessary for business incubators to develop their mentoring programmes to be able to provide assistance in accordance with the needs needed by the current fostered tenants, so as to improve the business performance. This research aims to formulate an appropriate development strategy for the IPB Business Incubator by analysing the internal and external environment of the incubator. The method in this research uses the analysis of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), SWOT analysis (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats), and using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed that three strategies were recommended for the development of IPB's Business Incubator, namely developing an online marketing platform that can help market tenant products online, developing incubation programmes that can improve tenant competitiveness, and building cooperation with many parties both nationally and internationally.
