Abstract

The relocation state capital of Indonesia raises various responses, especially from the Indonesian people. The discussion related to these issues is very interesting to study, how are the positive and negative sentiments of the Indonesian towards the government's decision. This study aims to analyze the sentiments of the Indonesian people regarding the relocation state capital of Indonesia, including the chosen name of Nusantara on Twitter. In this study, a comparison of 3 algorithms is used, namely the Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes, and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithms. From this study, the results obtained are 1,141 positive comments, while negative sentiments are 591 comments. This shows that the Indonesian people have a positive opinion towards the new capital city of Indonesia. In the classification and model testing phase, 10-fold cross validation is used. From these tests, the SVM algorithm obtained an accuracy value of 85.71%, the Naïve Bayes algorithm obtained an accuracy value of 76.70%, the KNN algorithm obtained an accuracy value of 52.74%. This study shows that the SVM algorithm can work better than the Naïve Bayes algorithm and KNN. The accuracy value for the KNN algorithm obtains a low value, this is because the KNN algorithm is sensitive to features that are less relevant.

Abstract

The digital transformation era provides an opportunity for the public to exercise their right to information, where public agency is required to provide documents and information through Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumen (PPID). This openness promises an important role for public participation through electronic access to information (E-Information), access to electronic consultations (E-Consultation), and participation in electronic decision-making (E-Decision Making). These three indicators are referred to as E-Participation. However, their implementation has encountered obstacles, leading to the need for research on E-Participation in the current community environment. This study employs a Soft System Methodology approach, specifically the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method. The objective is to identify the indicators and criteria used in E-Participation, and to determine the level of E-Participation usage in Central Java based on the indicators used. The criteria used in this study pertain to the willingness of both the government and society, as well as the availability of infrastructure and information. The ranking results of the level of E-Participation indicate that public E-Participation is at an average level, where E-Information is the highest strengthening indicator, followed by E-Consultation, and E-Decision Making is the lowest.

Abstract

The growth of digital media has been incredibly fast, which has made consuming information a challenging task. Social media processing aided by Machine Learning has been very helpful in the digital era. Sentiment analysis is a fundamental task in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Based on the increasing number of social media users, the amount of data stored in social media platforms is also growing rapidly. As a result, many researchers are conducting studies that utilize social media data. Opinion mining (OM) or Sentiment Analysis (SA) is one of the methods used to analyze information contained in text from social media. Until now, several other studies have attempted to predict Data Mining (DM) using remarkable data mining techniques. The objective of this research is to compare the accuracy values of BERT and DistilBERT. DistilBERT is a technique derived from BERT that provides speed and maximizes classification. The research findings indicate that the use of DistilBERT method resulted in an accuracy value of 97%, precision of 99%, recall of 99%, and f1-score of 99%, which is higher compared to BERT that yielded an accuracy value of 87%, precision of 91%, recall of 91%, and f1-score of 89%.

Abstract

Allo Bank is a digital banking service available in Indonesia. The Allo Bank application has received low reviews on the Google Play Store. Based on several comments, it is known that the application does not function well, frequently experiences errors, and users face difficulties when making payments. Additionally, the application often cannot be used due to problems whose causes are unknown. This study aims to determine the level of usability of the Allo Bank application and identify which principles are not met based on the Heuristics Evaluation principles. The Heuristic Evaluation method was used for this research, while data was collected using questionnaires, and the sampling technique employed was the Slovin technique. The results of this research indicate that the usability of the Allo Bank application falls into the "good" category as the severity rating calculation results did not exceed 1 (one). The highest problem was found in the Use control and freedom aspect and the Help users recognize dialogue, and recovers from errors aspect, with an average severity rating of 1.48 and 1.31, respectively. Meanwhile, there were low average values for H2 and H8. This suggests that both aspects, although they have problems in the system, can still be controlled and users do not consider these issues to be significant problems. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain these aspects.
