Psikis: Jurnal Psikologi Islami is a scientific journal published by Faculty of Psychology of State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang. The papers to be published in Journal of Islamic Psychology is a kind of article of research (quantitative or qualitative research approach), literature study or original ideas that are considered to contribute to the development of general psychology and Islamic Psychology especially with the theme of integration of Psychology and Islamic either by individual or by groups. It is published twice a year, in June and in December.

Marriage satisfaction is caused by many factors. From various researches it was concluded that there are two main factors that cause marital satisfaction, namely communication and socio-economics. Among social factors, there are factors that encourage marital satisfaction, namely religiosity. In these two decades the practice of marriage without dating, which is often referred to as ta'aruf, is an expression of religious behavior. Although there are several studies linking the variables of intimate communication, religiosity and marital satisfaction, there is no research that explains the relationship of intimate communication and marital satisfaction with religiosity as mediator variables in the context of ta'aruf. The purpose of this research is to find evidence whether religiosity mediates the relationship between intimate communication and marital satisfaction. The sample of this study consisted of 150 women living in Tangerang who all underwent ta'aruf before marriage, with a marriage age of 1 to 25 years of marriage. Samples were obtained from study groups who practice ta'aruf as expressions of religious teachings, using a purposive method. Mediation analysis was performed by regression analysis of the PROCESS V3.0 procedure with SPSS version 2.5. The importance of religiosity in explaining the relationship between intimate communication and the satisfaction of Muslim marriages is discussed and discussed.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between tawadhu'and self adjustment to interpersonal communication among the students of University X in Yogyakarta. Respondents in this study are 166 students at University X of Yogyakarta. Analisys data used assumption test, hypothesis test and different test. Interpersonal communication was measured using the scale of Yulianto (2010) based on the theory of De Vito (1997), tawadhu 'was measured using the scale of Thalib's (1991) theory and self-adjustment was measured using the scale used by Wahyudi (2012) based on Fatimah (2010). The results of the study have shown that there is a significant positive relationship between tawadhu'and interpersonal communication on the new students at University X of Yogyakarta, and there is a positive relationship between self-adjustment and interpersonal communication to new students at Universitas X of Yogyakarta.

Muslim women who have feminine stereotypes: gentle, shy, preferring to stay at home with the phenomenon of Muslim climberswho are looking for challenges by climbing the mountain has now shifted to be more masculine. Mountain climbing is a masculine activity because it seeks challenges by climbing high-risk mountains. Mountain climbers experience flow experince which is a holistic sensation that is manifested when we take action with full involvement. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological method to understand the description of flow experince in Muslim women mountaineers. This research was conducted in the city of Yogyakarta with four participants. Data collected bysemi-structured interview techniques. This study found seven themes that emerged regarding flow experince in Muslim mountaineers, that is: 1) preparation was the main; 2) the purpose of climbing mountains is spirituality; 3) Muslim mountaineer women feel special; 4) Feeling at one with nature but staying focused; 5) get positive feedback 6) increase brotherhood 7) be able to evaluate yourself. The findings of this study are Muslim women climbers feel they can improve spirituality, self esteem, ukhuwah or brotherhood and feelings at one with nature but stay focused when they climb mountains.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal pada mahasiswa ditinjau dari tawadhu’ dan penyesuaian diri. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan 166 mahasiswa angkatan 2017 di Universitas X Yogyakarta. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi, uji hipotesis dan uji beda. Komunikasi interpersonal diukur menggunakan skala yang digunakan oleh Yulianto (2010) berdasarkan teori De Vito (1997), tawadhu’ diukur menggunakan skala berdasarkan teori Thalib (1991) dan penyesuaian diri diukur menggunakan skala yang digunakan oleh Wahyudi (2012) berdasarkan teori Fatimah (2010). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara tawadhu’ dan komunikasi interpersonal pada mahasiswa, serta terdapat hubungan positif antara penyesuaian diri dan komunikasi interpersonal pada mahasiswa.

This study was conducted at the branch subsidiary (PAC) IPNU (Nahdhatul Ulama Student Association) in Magelang Regency. The study population was the administrators of Magelang Regency IPNU PAC which consisted of 18 PACs. The sample in this study amounted to 157 people selected by cluster random sampling technique. The topic of research is the extent to which the organizational commitment of the board when linked to spiritual intelligence, because managing a non-profit organization is different when we are managing a profit organization. The scale of spiritual intelligence and the scale of organizational commitment become data collection tools in this study where the second scale was made by researchers. The data collected were analyzed with the product moment correlation technique resulting in a value of 0.556 with a significance level of 0,000 (p <0.01), indicating that spiritual intelligence and organizational commitment of PAC IPNU administrators in Magelang Regency were highly correlated. The effective contribution of the spiritual intelligence variable contributed 30.9% to the organizational commitment of the PAC IPNU Magelang District management, while 69.1% of the organizational commitment was influenced by other factors.

This study aims to measure someone’s obedience which is influenced by the Islamic morals and parenting. Parenting in this study refers to Authoritarian, Permissive and Democratic. While Islamic morals in this study are related to rules and conventions regarding what humans should do in their interactions with others. Respondent of this study was 120 people using accindental sampling. Aiken V validity and Alpha Cronbach reliability is used to measure Obedience Scale (0.764, 0.849), Islamic Moral scale (0.830, 0.804), Authoritarian scale (0.917, 0.611), Permissive Scale (0.833, 0.543) and Demokratic Scale (0.850, 0.891). There is a significant correlation between Obedience and Islamic morals (p= .521), obedience and democratic parenting (p = .380), Democratic parenting and Islamic morals (p= .636). Regression analysis was carried out to see the influence and contribution of Islamic morals and parenting authoritarian, permissive and democratic – towards obedience, where Islamic morals significantly affected compliance by 27.1% and democratic parenting by 14.4%.

This study aims to describe the continuous and memorable implementation of raḥmah based education in fostering the personality of students of IAIN Curup. A qualitative approach was used by adopting a descriptive method. Lecturers, academic related parties, and students from Islamic education department were engaged as the subjects of the present study. The data were garnered using interview and observation. This study revealed that the meanings of raḥmah in the implementation of learning at IAIN Curup, include: the contents of the learning curriculum, especially KKNI sourced from the Qur’an and integrated to modern theories with the content of the Qur’an so grounded in the lives of students; atmosphere, campus facilities and lecturers' behavior make students feel comfortable; every lecturer provides guidance and assistance sincerely; guiding students to be of good character; Academic services at IAIN Curup provide discretion and justice to students; Providing information to students in accordance with their psychological readiness; Keeping students away from things that endanger themselves and others; and the lecturers realized that their main duty is watering students with knowledge, wisdom, and faith with compassion and tenderness.

Studies on the concept of religiosity in Indonesia is already popular. However, no study has been conducted to see the direction and trends of this subjectrecently and how the subject of this study able to give a bigger impact in the future. The aim of this study was to assess the trends on the theme of religiosity studies in Indonesia in the last ten years. The method used was literature review using the data obtained from Google Scholar by two keywords in Indonesian i.e "religiusitas" and "keberagamaan" which both have same meaning that is religiosity. The result shows religiosity studies in Indonesia mostly related to morality and wellbeing. Recommendation for future studies given.

The objective of this study was to explore and find out the Islamic education learning (PAI) method which is suitable with the dynamics of the students to make them easier in understanding the subject and improve their achievement using multiple intelligences. This study was Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research involved the teacher’s attempt (the researcher) in the form of the learning process. Validity concept and instrument reliability used in the data collection. In this research also known as practical validity/reliability, which means that as long as the members of the action research group decide that the instrument is valid and reliable, it can be used. Islamic education learning strategies need to use intelligence by solving the problems faced by the students, developed new problems to be solved, and make something useful in their life. Therefore, multiple intelligences in Islamic education learning is part of an effective strategy to facilitate the subject and improve student achievement.

Happiness is the ultimate goal of all activities. The desire for happiness makes humans look for the source of happiness that its existence is worthy of several elements of life. Education as one of the crucial elements of life has varied learning models that can increase the willingness of students to learn. The conscious effort to learn becomes more optimal in a happy psychological condition. This research discusses the ultimate happiness in the Koran described with scientific theories of happiness and explains the Quantum theory of happiness in the learning model. The research method used was literature study and content analysis as the data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that first, happiness in the Koran was not caused by wealth but our faith as a believer. Second, there are endorphins in humans that emit happiness and calmness. Third, someone who is happy will have a change in thoughts, words, actions, facial expressions, and positive muscle activity. Fourth, the learning model that can create happy learning begins with creating happy emotions, giving both material and non-material rewards, and good habituation. Fifth, the understanding about happiness from various perspectives can provide a variety of positive developments in all aspects of life and will lead into a better life.
