Abstract

At present, the development of technology becomes intense among notebook manufacturers. They compete to create advantages in product markets. When people buy a product, consumers do not just look at the advantages it offers, but they also see its brand. Country of origin, brand image, and perceived quality influence people to make decision to buy a product. This study aims to determine the effect of country of origin, brand image, perceived quality on the purchase intentions of the Lenovo notebook. The study involved 150 respondents and the data was tested using structural equation modeling with Lisrel 8.7 software. The result findings showed that country of origin affect brand image, perceived quality and purchase intentions. In addition, this study showed that brand image has an effect on perseived quality. In the future, PT. Lenovo Indonesia as a subsidiary of Lenovo Group Limited needs to build a force to strengthen the Lenovo brand in marketing its product in the Indonesian market.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to know the effect of ownership structure and company size on the performance of manufacturing corporations listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method of analysis used was linear multiple regression analysis model. This research used secondary data, annual reports of the manufacturing corporations during 2011-2012 with 321 units of corporation as population and 80 units taken as sample by using purposive sampling method. The result of the research indicated that: the managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and company size have positive and significant effects on the performance of the corporation.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of the need for achievement, and readiness instrumentation in influencing entrepreneurial intentions of students. The research employed quantitative approach. The population of the research was students of the management study program, the Economics Faculty, Tarumanagara University that were registered in the odd semester 2013/2014 and had taken entrepreneurship course. Samples involved in the research used purposive sampling. The data collection was conducted using the inquiry method, while multiple linear regression analysis was employed to analyze the data. The finding of the research indicates that (1) the need for achievement positively affects the entrepreneurial intention of students (2) the result of readiness instrumentation affects significantly the entrepreneurial intention of students, (3) the need for achievement and readiness instrumentation jointly influence the entrepreneurial intentions of students. The finding of the research implies that what has been indicated by a theory that predicts the result of the need for achievement, and readiness instrumentation that is assumed to affect the interest to make business through entrepreneurial intention prevail completely for the students of the entrepreneurship course of the management study program at the Economics Faculty, Tarumanagara University. Based on the finding of the research, it is suggested that efforts to improve the entrepreneurial intention of students can be conducted by improving their need for achievement, and readiness instrumentation. This will need a curriculum design of entrepreneurship course that can create or improve the students’ need for achievement since it will have effect on the improvement of entrepreneurial intention in making business.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the effects of career development, perception of organizational justice and job satisfaction on teacher’s organizational citizenship behavior of The Public Senior High School in Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research used the quantitative approach with the survey method. The samples of this research were 178 employees selected randomly. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires and analyzed by using the descriptive statistics and path analysis in inferential statistics. The results of the research can be concluded that: career development had a direct effect on teacher’s organizational citizenship behavior, perception of organizational justice had a direct effect on teacher’s organizational citizenship behavior, job satisfaction had a direct effect on teacher’s organizational citizenship behavior, career development had a direct effect on teacher’s job satisfaction, perception of organizational justice had a direct effect on teacher’s job satisfaction. Therefore to improve teacher’s organizational citizenship behavior, career development, perception of organizational justice, and job satisfaction should be improved.

Abstract

The ever-growing world of photography led to a large number of owners of DSLR cameras. The photographic community is formed. Technological progress in terms of the internet and social network Facebook gives impact on the development of photography community. The Internet empowered consumers share information easily. Consumers share their experiences through the internet, so that it affects others by using the electronic word of mouth. It is againsts buying decision on a product. This study aimed to know the influence of the electronic word of mouth on Komunitas Kamera Apa Saja (KOKAS) in Facebook groups to the decision purchase of DSLR cameras.30 respondents were done with judgement sampling techniques. The simple linear regression was used to analyze the data. The result showed that the electronic word of mouth did not affect significantly the purchase decisions of DSLR cameras. The hypothesis test results (test t) value reaches the significance of 0.063 & gt; with the R square value of 0.005 and 11.8%.

Abstract

This study examines factors which is affecting online shopping customer behavior. Based on Javadi et.al. (2012), there are two model analysis in this research. First, measure affect of financial risk, product risk, incovenience risk, non-delivery risk, return policy, service and infrastructural on online shopping attitude. Second, to measure affect of domain specific innovativeness, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on online shopping behavior. Sample selected from customers of five online shops in Palembang surveyed was selected by snowball sampling. Analysis using multiple linier regression. The results on first model analysis showed that almost of all risks negatively affect online shopping attitude. Only incovenience risk which have positive affect. Return policy and service and infrastructural positively affect online shopping behavior. On second model, analysis shows that all independent variables positively affect on online shopping behavior. This research support empirical research about subjective norms and attitude positively support behavior. In the other side, based on the result, affect of domain specific innovativeness and perceived behavior control need a more concern on future research.

Abstract

These results indicate that: 1) Increased labor productivity through compensation on PT. BNI Life Insurance Gorontalo simultaneously significant effect on the productivity of employees working koofiensi shown derterminasi r2 = 0.512, or by 51.2% and the remaining 48.8% is influenced by other factors; 2) Increased productivity of employees through compensation have a significant effect on the productivity of the employees indicated by (t = 6.061). This is indicated by the regression results where the value of β 0.578 These results indicate that with the right policies and the compensation received by the employee, the employee will improve the performance of PT. BNI (Persero) Gorontalo.

Abstract

This research explores the strategy of change management to increase competitiveness of BUMN Perkebunan, especially in Tobacco business. The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyse internal factors of BUMN Perkebunan needed for increasing competitiveness in tobacco business, (2) to analyse policies needed for increasing competitiveness of BUMN Perkebunan in tobacco business, (3) to formulate strategy by PT ABC to increase competitiveness of BUMN Perkebunan in tobacco business. The data were taken from relevant literatures, indepth interviews, and expert panels. The research has shown that in the future, BUMN Perkebunan has to prioritize its role and function on the business aspect, enhanced by strong commitment from the government. On the other hand, resources and demand conditions are two aspects to be prioritized to increase PT ABC competitiveness. The alternative strategy to that end lies in the product development.

Abstract

This study tries to combine research conducted by Wang and Yang (2008), Eid (2011) and Campbell (2013). Formulation of research problems are: (1) whether the e-customer loyalty is influenced by the e-customer satisfaction, customere-trust, and compulsive buying, and (2) whether the e-customer satisfaction and customer trusteinfluenced user interface quality, information quality, perceived security, perceived privacy, and competent behavior. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to the people of Yogyakarta purposive lyaged 15 years to 30 year sand never done an online transaction at least oncein thelast 6 months. Hypothesis testing using analytical tools. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study states that all proposed hypothesis can be supported, so itcanbe concluded that (1) e-customer loyalty is influenced by the ecustomer satisfaction, customere-trust, and compulsive buying, and (2) the e-customer satisfaction ande-customer trustis influencedbythe user interfacequality, information quality, perceived security, perceived privacy, andcompetentbehavior.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of intrapreneurship on theperformance of manufacturing companies in Tangerang. The population was managerof a manufacturing company in the province of Banten. This study developed andtested a theoretical model where the variable intrapreneurship shaped by factors ofinnovation, risk / uncertainty, risks / challenges, competitive energy, proactive andautonomy, and performance on financial performance variables, variables and variableproductivity growth and repair. Based on the questionnaire, which is selected usingpurposive sampling method of data obtained from a sample of 25 medium-sizedcompanies manufacturing in Tangerang. This study uses confirmatory analysis basedon structural equation modeling (SEM). This research model using AMOS 21.0. Theresults of this study revealed that intrapreneurship has a multidimensional structure.Innovation factors, risks / challenges, competitive and proactive energy can explainwell intrapreneurship. This model proved its effect on the growth and repair.Intrapreneurship affect the growth and repair. This study contributes to theoryhighlights the importance of intrapreneurship-forming factors and their effects in themodel. This is helpful for researchers looking for appropriate performance measuresand intrapreneurs aims to support their decisions and evaluate their performance.
