Abstract

The advent of instant messaging apps like WhatsApp has changed the way parents communicate digitally. One of the more popular features is the use of stickers in messages. This study aims to determine the use of WhatsApp stickers in digital communication among parents in Baladewa Rt 08, Bandung city, and measure its impact on the effectiveness of their communication. This research uses quantitative methods, the data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire to a group of parents who actively use WhatsApp stickers in daily communication. The results showed that the use of WhatsApp stickers can increase emotional expression and creativity in parents' digital communication and how the use of these stickers affects their communication effectiveness in facing the challenges of modern digital communication. However, there is also the constraint that the use of WhatsApp stickers may compromise communication effectiveness in some contexts. Therefore, this study provides an in-depth insight into how the use of WhatsApp stickers affects digital communication among parents, with diverse impacts for the development of communication and interaction technologies. The conclusions of this study can help in developing an understanding of how parents interact with digital communication technologies.

Abstract

The emergence of new media, one of which is the social media TikTok, in mass communication has had a significant impact, especially on the dissemination of news information on this new media, so that many news media have taken part in using TikTok as an alternative forum for spreading their news, such as the Inspira TV news media. This research aims to show the role of TikTok as an alternative forum for disseminating news information for Inspira TV. This research uses a qualitative approach method and the study used is a case study with a constructivist research paradigm and is assisted by new media theory. Research data was collected using in-depth interviews and online observations. The results of this research are that the strategy used by Inspira TV is in the information processing process which is made straightforward and clear, as well as in the implementation process using several elements contained in the new TikTok media. The comments on the Inspira TV news account are varied, including positive, negative and zero feedback. The difference felt by the Inspira TV news media in disseminating its news is its affordability, the dissemination process, and the content of the news. So Inspira TV as a news media considers that the role of social media TikTok in disseminating the latest news. Inspira TV is still not effective enough, because it still has limitations and shortcomings in processing news..

Abstract

Internal communication can be understood as the foundation and building blocks of an organizational culture. The existence of an organizational culture that is firmly adhered to by employees will greatly support the process of achieving the company's main goals (Agustini & Purnaningsih, 2018). This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, which is descriptive in nature and Human Relations Theory. The data collection method was carried out using in-depth interviews and observation methods. (Isniyunisyafna, & Isfiantie S, 2020). For employees, the role of effective internal communication in improving good and sustainable relationships is very important. Because good internal communication can strengthen social relationships, increase collaboration, solve problems, develop leadership skills.This research explores the urgency of internal communication in building a strong organizational culture, strengthening social relationships, and improving company performance. Carried out using a qualitative approach and Human Relations Theory, with in-depth interview and observation methods.The importance of internal communication in building a strong organizational culture and supporting the achievement of company goals. Abstract

Indonesia's local cultural diversity plays an important role in the country's identity as the world's largest archipelago. The Ministry of Education and Culture records more than 67,273 cultural heritages, including immovable objects, movable objects, and intangible heritages. This diversity requires attention and preservation, especially from the younger generation as cultural successors. Public awareness, especially the younger generation, is very important in preventing the extinction of local culture in the midst of globalization. Mass media, especially documentary films, are considered an effective means to raise this awareness. This study examines the influence of the documentary film "Nada Nusantara" on the awareness of students of SMK Negeri 10 Bandung in preserving local culture. Using a quantitative descriptive method, this study questions the influence of frequency, attention, and quality of the documentary film on students' awareness. The results showed that the movie had a positive influence on students' awareness, contributing to their understanding and appreciation of local culture. The implications of this study can be used as a guideline in utilizing documentary films as an educational tool to enrich students' knowledge and awareness of Indonesia's local cultural heritage

Abstract

Social media plays an important role as a means for carrying out various communication activities, including marketing communications, where this platform provides the ability for brands to interact directly with their audience. Tiktok is a platform that plays a role in facilitating digital marketing. TikTok has recently received a lot of attention from social media users and has had a significant impact on the entrepreneurship industry. Tiktok has become an application that is popular with many individuals, which has given rise to various new business ideas. The Originote is one of the imported skincare brands that will enter the Indonesian market in 2022. This brand became very popular on TikTok social media when it first appeared in Indonesia, to be able to beat competitors who have survived longer. In conducting this research the author used a qualitative description method with data collection techniques through literature study. This method was chosen because of its ability to explore deep meaning and understanding of complex phenomena through diverse perspectives. The results of the research show that TikTok social media has an important role in the marketing communications process, by utilizing the features on TikTok and the role of influencers who can help influence consumer buying interest. This shows that the use of TikTok social media is an effective tool in carrying out marketing communications.

Abstract

Personal branding is the process of forming perceptions through one's personality, character and uniqueness to then be wrapped into an identity that has more strength compared to others by creating a positive image of its followers which is made into a marketing tool, Instagram is used as a place for self-branding, there is Instagram creating a new phenomenon among the public which is commonly referred to as Instagram celebrity or celebrity, celebrity is someone who has a fairly high popularity on Instagram, namely by having a large number of followers (followers) in large numbers of hundreds or even millions. This study uses the SMCR communication method, namely Source, Massage, Channel, Receiver. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that a celebrity needs to personalize their own branding in order to get a positive image of their followers and the personal branding that is built can be an opportunity to work with brands or products and the influence of personal branding is very important on the engagement of a celebrity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze (1) the accuracy of the coastal community economic empowerment program in Sekunyit village, south Kaur district, Kaur district and (2) to analyze the inhibiting factors of the coastal community economic empowerment program in Sekunyit village, south Kaur district, Kaur district. This research is a qualitative case study research. The data sources in this study were the chairman of the maritime mina cooperative, the secretary of the maritime mina cooperative, and the treasurer of the maritime mina cooperative. The data collection method used in this research is the method of interview, observation, and documentation. Data processing is carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are (1) the results of research regarding the evaluation of the economic empowerment program of coastal communities in order to improve the welfare of fishermen, (2) the achievement of the coastal community economic empowerment program (PEMP) in Sekunyit Village, (3) the accuracy of the achievement of the objectives of the coastal community economic empowerment program (PEMP). ) in Sekunyit Village, and (4) Inhibiting factors in Achieving the Objectives of the Economic Empowerment Program for Coastal Community (PEMP) in Sekunyit Village. Abstract

A family exists because of a marriage consisting of a father, mother and other members. Every individual has a dream of a harmonious family. But in reality, not every family has a harmonious family. The cause of family disharmony occurs due to separation, whether due to divorce or the death of one of the parents. Separation due to divorce or death can have an impact on family communication patterns, especially with children in their teens. The family plays an important role in forming self-confidence in adolescents. Self-confidence in teenagers who come from disharmonious families tend to have low self-confidence (selfesteem). This research aims to find out how much influence parents' communication patterns have on teenagers' self-confidence. The method in this research uses a quantitative descriptive method by collecting data obtained from distributing questionnaires to teenagers aged 18-21 years who have single parents in Cipadung Village, Cibiru District with a sample size of 240. Using the Slovin formula with Likert scale measurements. The results of this research show that the communication pattern developed by single parents is an authoritative (democratic) communication pattern. The relationship between communication patterns and adolescent self-confidence has a significant and positive relationship so that single parent communication patterns influence adolescent self-confidence.

Abstract

KIP-K merupakan program beasiswa dari pemerintah kepada siswa dengan keterbatasan ekonomi tetapi berprestasi untuk melanjutkan studi di perguruan tinggi. Kemenristekdikti mendelegasikan program ini ke Perguruan Tinggi baik negeri maupun swasta untuk melaksanakan dan mendukung Program tersebut. Pada pelaksanaannya setiap perguruan tinggi mengacu pada Persesjen no. 10. tahun 2022 sebagai dasar. Namun kenyataanya masih ditemukan mahasiswa KIP-K yang kurang tepat menerima program sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi program. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengukuran tingkat pencapaian tujuan dalam evaluasi penelitian menggunakan enam indikator William Dunn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Efektivitas dalam melakukan survei secara langsung untuk meminimalisir penipuan data. Efisiensi berupa pemanfataan SDM (pengelola) dalam mewujudkan pelayanan yang baik. Pemerataan terhadap masyarakat yang membutuhkan untuk menerima program KIP-K. Kecukupan pelaksanaan program yang membantu masyarakat memperoleh hak pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi. Responsivitas dengan melakukan evaluasi rutin per semester dan jika ditemui masalah terkait program sesuai persesjen no. 10 tahun 2022. Ketepatan penerimaan dana pendidikan dan biaya hidup KIP-K is a scholarship program from the government for students with economic limitations but good achievements to continue their studies at university. The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education delegates this program to universities, both public and private, to implement and support the program. In its implementation, each university refers to Persesjen no. 10. 2022 as a basis. However, in reality, it is still found that KIP-K students do not accept the program appropriately, so it is necessary to evaluate the program. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Measuring the level of goal achievement in research evaluation uses William Dunn's six indicators. The research results show that the effectiveness of conducting surveys directly is to minimize data fraud. Efficiency in the form of utilizing human resources (managers) in realizing good service. Equal distribution of communities in need to receive the KIP-K program. Adequate implementation of programs that help people obtain the right to education at higher education. Responsiveness by carrying out routine evaluations per semester and if problems are encountered related to the program according to Peresjen no. 10 of 2022. Accuracy of receiving education funds and living costs.

Abstract

Village development based on community empowerment is the desired objective of the P3MD programme, in which the state participates by providing human resources for assistance, known as Technical Assistance Personnel (TPP). TPP, as a transformation of village facilitation, carry out community empowerment activities by assisting, organising, guiding and facilitating villages to develop community self-reliance and welfare by improving knowledge, attitudes and skills. This study aims to describe the performance of local village facilitators in achieving the objectives of the P3MD programme in Lebong Regency. This research is descriptive, combining quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection. The data analysis method used involves organising and sorting the collected data by dividing the research variables into several frequencies and percentages, then analysing and interpreting the obtained data by explaining it in easily understandable sentences. The results show that the majority of local village facilitators have performed their duties well, actively participating in various stages of village development and successfully mobilising community participation. However, some local village facilitators still face challenges such as the lack of clear work plans and inconsistencies in the execution of tasks. It was found that most local village facilitators have a high frequency of visits according to their work plans, but there are still some who are not yet providing optimal support.
