Abstract

AbstractThe Makassar Plantation Products Industry Center (BBIHP) has established work safety programs for research employees, such as providing work safety tools for research employees including safety shoes, helmets, masks, glasses and gloves. But there is only one thing that causes work accidents that occur in the workplace, resulting in disruptions and decrease the spirit of employee performance. The population of this study is employees of the Makassar Plantation Products Industry Center which amounts to 122 employees with 83 civil servants and 39 non-civil servants. Samples in this study were taken based on parts per division, namely certain functional parts of the Center for Plantation Products Industry as many as 45 employees. The analysis used to find out if there is a positive and significant influence of independent variables (x_(1)and x_2) on dependent variables (Y) is multiple regression. Based on spss output statistical 22.0 for windows, the multiple linear regression equation can be formulated as follows: Y= 7,647 + 0.419 X_1+ 0.365 X_(2 ). The effect of occupational health and safety variables simultaneously positively affects employee performance is 30,698 with a significance value of 0.000. The effect of work health variables positively affect employee performance is 3,448 with a significant value of 0.001. The effect of work safety variables has a positive effect on employee performance is 3,046 with a significant value of 0.004. Keywords: Health and Work Slowness, Employee Performance.

Abstract

In the new paradigm will be reflected the new work culture, strategy and role of human resources from within the typology of the new organization. The industrial world is growing. The development of the industry can not be separated from the advancement in the field of technology. Technology almost sets aside the human workforce, however labor is always needed. PT Beton Perkasa Wijaksana Makassar Branch is one of the companies engaged in producing concrete. Although the duties of each employee are very different from each other, but inter depending on each other, must work together and also have to fill each other in order to achieve the individual goals of employees as well as the goals of groups or organizations. To support the ease of achieving these goals, employees both individually and required to continuously make improvements or improve the quality of themselves or their groups.The study aims to identify how influential employees' occupational health and safety is so that it affects their productivity. Sampling in this study was used by 102 respondents, the data collection technique is by questionnaire, research variables are Health (X1), Safety (X2), Productivity (Y). The data was tested for validity using Pearson Product Moment correlation and to test its reliability level using Cronbach Alpha and then the data was processed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Abstract

This research aims to find out the role and function of extension institutions on agricultural development (plantations) in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province and what obstacles in the extension and contribution of extension workers to agricultural development. This research was carried out in Bulukumba Regency using qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with farmers, agricultural extension workers and counseling in the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation in Bulukumba Regency.The results of the study showed the role and fugsi of plantation agricultural counseling institutions towards agricultural development which includes as a service, central communication, central institutional development and central development of partnerships and functions of counseling institutions as planning and depreciation of programs, provision and dissemination of information, human resources development, administrative arrangement and evaluation functions have not been maximal. The lack of quantity and quality of agricultural extension workers (plantations), the lack of trainings attended by plantation extension workers, the policy of transitioning from extension workers to extension workers of food crops. Agricultural development (plantation) is also seen from economic growth, community welfare, and increasing plantation production. The decline in production in several commodities, namely cloves, rubber, cocoa and coffee based on data from the central statistics agency from bulukumba district year 2014 to 2017.    Keywords: Role and Function of Counseling Institutions, on Agricultural Development.

Abstract

To know and analyze the influence of organization, leadership, ability and skills as well as appreciation and recognition of the quality of public services in the Hingk District Office of Arfak Mountain District, West Papua Province. This research uses the form of survey research. In this study, the population is a community that takes care of a type of service at the Hingk District Office of Arfak Mountain District of West Papua Province and government employees as service providers at the Hingk District Office of Arfak Mountain District of West Papua Province. Samples are determined by saturated sampling techniques (census), i.e. all populations are sampled at the Hingk District Office of Arfak Mountain District of West Papua Province. So that the total sample as many as 48 people. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis.The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence between the organization, leadership, ability and skills as well as appreciation and recognition of the quality of public services in the Hingk District Office of Arfak Mountain District of West Papua Province. Keywords: Organization, leadership, ability, skills, appreciation, recognition, quality of service

Abstract

Makassar City Ministry of Religious Affairs is one of the government agencies that has a vision as a pioneer of national ethics, inspiration, and motivator for the creation of tolerance among religious people. Based on the observations, researchers found that most ASNs are less active in carrying out their work due to lack of motivation and adequate intellectual capital ability, causing obstacles, especially jobs that use technology media such as computers. This study aims to analyze the system of training needs assessment in the development of ASN human resources at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection process is done by observation method, interview, documentation study, and website access. The research informant is the Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City, Kasubag Staffing, and ASN who have attended training. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) From the aspect of asn quality in the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City with indicators of education jejang shows that the quality of ASN is still low, as well as from the non-formal education aspect. This means that the level of ASN participation in following training is still low, 2) From the institutional aspects in the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City internally or independently there is no ASN human resources development program in the form of training that has been designed in the Strategic Plan and work program, and 3) The system of information networking training needs assessment (training needs assessment) in the development of ASN human resources at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City has not been effective and efficient in supporting asn performance.Keywords: Training Needs Assessment, Human Capital Development. Abstract

The open selection system is a system for filling out the position of Primary High Leadership (JPT) at regional agencies which is carried out openly and competitively among Civil Servants (PNS) by taking into account the requirements of competence, qualifications, rank, education and training, track record of positions and integrity as well as other requirements needed in accordance with the provisions of the statutory regulations between regencies and cities in 1 (one) province. This study used a qualitative research method by trying to describe the phenomenon of the implementation of open selection in the Sinjai District Government. Data was collected through interviews with several informants, direct observation in the field and literature study. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data exposure to drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings was carried out through data triagulation, namely by conducting crossinterviews with several informants. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of the open selection system in the Sinjai District Government has produced clean, KKN-free, accountable and wellperforming officials. Some of the obstacles that arise in the implementation of the selection include: there are still indications of KKN practice in the selection process, loss of competition in a position and there are still indications that officials who have a bad trade record pass the selection process  Keywords: Open Selection  ABSTRAK Sistem seleksi terbuka adalah suatu sistem pengisian Jabatan Pimpinan Tinggi Pratama (JPT) pada instansi daerah yang dilakukan secara terbuka dan kompetitif di kalangan Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) dengan memperhatikan syarat kompetensi, kualifikasi, kepangkatan, pendidikan dan latihan, rekam jejak jabatan dan integritas serta persyaratan lain yang di butuhkan sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan antar kabupaten kota dalam 1 (satu) provinsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan berusaha mendeskripsikan fenomena pelaksanaan seleksi terbuka pada Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Sinjai. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan beberapa informan, melakukan observasi langsung ke lapangan serta study pustaka. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, paparan data hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan melalui triagulasi data yaitu melalukan wawancara silang dengan beberapa informan.Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan sistem seleksi terbuka pada Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Sinjai telah melahirkan pejabat yang bersih, bebas KKN, akuntabel dan berkinerja. Beberapa kendala yang muncul dalam pelaksanaan seleksi antara lain: masih adanya indikasi praktek KKN dalam pelaksanaan seleksi, hilangnya kompetisi dalam suatu jabatan serta masih adanya indikasi pejabat yang memiliki trade record yang tidak baik lolos dalam proses seleksi, namun semua kendala tersebut dapat diselesaikan melalui penunjukan Panitia Seleksi (PANSEL) yang professional dan berintegritas, membuka ruang bagi pejabat eselon III.b untuk ikut dalam proses seleksi serta melakukan penelusuran rekam jejak jabatan calon pejabat  Kata Kunci: Seleksi Terbuka

Abstract

Problems that occur in PT. Baruga Asrinusa Development is a matter of leadership style, this can be seen from the conflict between the company and employees. This conflict occurs due to misunderstanding between superiors and employees. This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of leadership style, discipline, and incentives on employee performance, as well as to know and analyze variables that have a dominant effect on employee performance in PT. Baruga Asrinusa Development. The research was conducted for 3 months from September to November 2018 with a population of 227 people and sampling techniques that are random samples from a population of 50 people who were sampled. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method, with double regression testing preceded by performing validity and reliability test of question items of each variable as well as assumption test. The results of this study showed that the coefficient of leadership style influence on employee performance which shows that it has a significant positive effect on employee performance, coefficient of disciplinary influence on employee performance that shows that discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance, coefficient of effect of incentives on employee performance which indicates that the provision of incentives has a significant positive effect on employee performance. This can be interpreted that the leadership style, discipline, and incentives for employee performance at PT. Baruga Asrinusa Development will increase. And the highest value is the incentive variable so that the variable that has the most influence is the incentive variable. Keywords: leadership style, discipline, incentives, and performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACK                 This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of competence, work environment on motivation and performance of employees of the Gowa Agricultural Extension College (STPP) in Gowa, South Sulawesi Province as well as to identify and analyze variables that have direct and indirect influence on employee performance.                This research was conducted at the College of Agricultural Extension (STPP) Gowadi Gowa, South Sulawesi Province with a sample of 98 people. The method of analysis used in this research is quantitative method, through path analysis testing.                The results show that competence has a significant effect on motivation; The work environment has a significant positive effect on motivation; Competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance; The work environment has a positive and insignificant effect on performance; Motivation has a significant effect on performance; Competence has a significant influence on employee performance through motivation, this shows that the more appropriate the competence of employees with their work will increase work motivation and ultimately have an impact on employee performance that is getting better; The work environment has a significant influence on employee performance through motivation, this shows that the conditions of the work environment can increase employee motivation so that it has an impact on improving employee performance. Keywords: Competence, work environment, motivation and performance

Abstract

This study aims to find out the picture of Leadership Style, Competence, Motivation, and Organizational Culture, to the Performance of State Civil Apparatus at the Makassar Search and Rescue Office of South Sulawesi This type of research is quantitative and located at the Makassar Search and Rescue Office of South Sulawesi. The population of this study, the entire ASN of 108 people. A sample of 52 people were drawn with simple random sampling techniques, data collected using surveys, questionnaire questionnaires, documentation.Data from the results of the study was analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis techniques and infrensial statistical analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study showed that, (1) Leadership style has a significant positive effect on performance with P value = 0.0280.05 with a coefficient value of 0.268 shows the more effective the leadership style is felt then the performance of employees in the Makassar Search and Rescue Office will increase. (2) Competency has a significant positive effect on performance with P value = 0.011 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.390 indicates that the better or more appropriate competencies that employees have with their work, thus encouraging the improvement of employee performance (3) Motivation has a significant positive influence on performance with P value=0.004 0.0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.413, indicating that the better the employee's work motivation, the better the performance (4) The organizational culture has a significant positive influence on performance with P= 0.0040.05 and a coefficient value of 0.458 which indicates that the better the organizational culture is felt then the employee performance will also increase. (5) Motivation has a dominant attitude towards ASN performance, because motivation variables are measured by four indicators, namely, basic needs, responsibilities, work environment, spiritual motivation. Keywords: Leadership Style, Competence, Motivation, Organizational Culture, and Performance.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe and prove how the teacher's ability, students' understanding, and To describe how the evaluation of students' learning outcomes in implementing integrated learning tahfidz Qur'an. This research is included in qualitative research with phenomenological approach through observation of integration between the general curriculum and islamic religious reasoning through the implementation of Tahfidz Al-Quran. The location of this research is in the area of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Makassar. The research population was 24 people consisting of 12 students and 12 teachers from 236 students and 12 teachers. The results showed that there is increased understanding, there is strengthening of character, improving the ability to read short surah memorization, in general students can appreciate time, appreciate science, have a culture of hard work, and have a forward orientation, as well as high self-esteem. There are efforts to always carry out an Islamic attitude in learning, follow the activities of prayer well. The ability of teachers in implementing integrated learning tahfidz Qur'an gradually and carried out continuously. After showing the changes, students are able to develop memorization of the Quran that has been determined and able to motivate themselves according to their abilities. The results of the evaluation explain the meaning of the integration of the Qur'an in students, showing indicators that have shown improvement, although further efforts need to be made improvements, and can improve low-grade passing skills in students.  Keywords: Integrated Tahfidz Qur'an, Teacher Ability, Student Understanding, Evaluation of Learning Outcomes  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan membuktikan bagaimana kemampuan guru, pemahaman siswa, dan Untuk menggambarkan bagaimana evaluasi hasil belajar siswa dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran terintegrasi tahfidz Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi melalui pengamatan atas integrasi antara kurikulum umum dengan penalaran agama islam melalui implementasi Tahfidz Al-Quran. Lokasi penelitian ini berada dalam wilayah SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Makassar. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 24 orang  yang terdiri dari 12 orang siswa/siwi dan 12 orang guru dari 236 siswa/siwi dan 12 orang guru.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman, ada penguatan karakter, meningkatkan kemampuan membaca hafalan surah pendek, pada umumnya siswa dapat menghargai waktu, menghargai ilmu pengetahuan, memiliki budaya kerja keras, dan memiliki orientasi ke depan, serta harga diri tinggi. Ada upaya untuk selalu menjalankan sikap yang islami dalam pembelajaran, mengikuti kegiatan shalat dengan baik. Kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran terintegrasi tahfidz Al-Qur’an secara bertahap dan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Setelah menunjukkan perubahannya mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan hafalan-hafalan Al-Quran yang telah ditentukan dan mampu memotivasi dirinya sesuai dengan kemampuannya yang dia miliki. Hasil dari evaluasi menjelaskan tentang makna integrasi Al-Qur’an pada siswa, menunjukkan indikator yang sudah menunjukkan perbaikan, walaupun selanjutnya perlu melakukan upaya perbaikan, dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan passing grade rendah pada siswa.  Kata Kunci: Terintegrasi Tahfidz Al-Qur’an, Kemampuan Guru, Pemahaman Siswa, Evaluasi Hasil Belajar
