Abstract

Recently,2013 curriculum is the best curriculum that have ever had for school in Indonesia. Based on the design, this curriculum comprehend in building human (students) and anticipate for the future. 2013 curriculum is the first curriculum that contain behavior or character explicitly as a competence that must be achieved and organize balancing act between students’ soft skills and hard skill. In addition, Scoring of students’ achievement in learning done comprehensively and continuity use many kinds of strategies that related with competence indicator that will be measured. The success of curriculum in reaching the mission is not only determined by the design, but the important thing is the implementation in the field; realizing the 2013 curriculum in schools. Special for learning science in elementary school must instruct to develop thinking skills and creativity.The teaching learning process focuses on scientific approachs and integrated 4 component result study in 2013 curriculum, they are:spritual attitude, social attitude, creativity, and knowledge.Special for attitude is not only taught verbally, but also by giving good example .Keywords: Science Learning, 2013 Curriculum

Abstract

This research aims at: (1) identifying the effecteiveness of multi media-based learning on Social Science; (2) describing the attractiveness of multi media-based learning on Social Science; which is carried out at SD Percobaan II Caturtunggal Depok Sleman Yogyakarta, term 2007/2008. The research design is pretest-posttest control group design. The data are drwan through tests which are analized quantitatively; and questionaire to measure the attractiveness of multimedia-based learning model, which will be analized qualitatavely. The treatment is carried out out by using storyboard, which is approved by experts of multimedia and teaching method. The result of the analysis shows that multi media-based learning model significantly influence the students’ achievement in Social Science. While the attractivemess of multi media-based learning relatively high, which is shown by 4.2 of average (in 1-5 scale measure). Keywords: Learning Effectiveness, Multi Media-Based Learning

Abstract

The Cognitive domain of Bloom’s taxonomy often serves as a framework for categorizing objectives of education, designing tests, and designing curricula. The taxonomy in order covers: (1) knowledge, (2) comprehension, (3) application, (4) analysis, (5) synthesis, and (6) evaluation. The order has been made use more than fifty years as the basis for education objectives, designing tests and curricula. Revision on the taxonomy is done by changing noun in the taxonomy into verb in the revised taxonomy. This is in order to meet education objectives. Such objectives indicate that students will be able to do something (verb) by using something (noun). Revision by Kratwohl and Anderson resulting the taxonomy: (1) remember, (2) understand,( 3) apply, (4) analyze, (5) evaluate, and (6) create.Key words: Revized Bloom’s Taxonomy, Cognitive Domain

Abstract

Education is a systematic process to improve human dignity in a holistic manner that allows self potentials (affective, cognitive, and psychomotor) develop optimally. Curriculum 2013 adheres to the basic view that knowledge cannot be moved away from the teacher to the learner. For learners, learning should be shifted from "notified" to "actively seek out". One of methods that can be applied is a game “Whats in here?”, that is learning with the game questions that make students happy to learn but it is also able to educate students to be more creative thinking and develop knowledge. The game “Whats In Here?” can be used as an alternative method of teach for training elementary school students to have questioning skills.Keywords: questioning skills, game “Whats in Here?” elementary school students

Abstract

Sebagai makhluk sosial, sifat egosentrisme yang menjadi karakteristrik anak usia TK perlu mendapatkan rangsangan dan bimbingan agar tidak menghambat proses sosialisasi anak di masyarakat pada masa yang akan datang. Dalam kaitannya dengan usaha tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjajagi penggunaan kegiatan outbound sebagai sarana untuk pembentukan perilaku sosial-emosional pada anak usia dini. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku sosial dan emosional anak usia dini di TK pada Sekolah Alam Bandung relatif telah berkembang dengan baik. Kondisi emosional anak juga menunjukkan kemampuan untuk mengenali dan memahami perasaan yang dialami, tetapi belum mampu untuk mengontrol emosinya tersebut. Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan telah tepat meskipun masih perlu adanya beberapa perbaikan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi berkaitan dengan keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melakukan fungsinya sebagai pendidik anak usia dini dan fasilitator outbound. Tampak adanya pengaruh kegiatan outbound terhadap upaya pembentukan perilaku sosial dan emosional anak usia dini meskipun kurang signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut maka direkomendasikan mengenai pentingnya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan outbound dalam upaya pembentukan perilaku sosial dan emosional pada anak usia dini di masa mendatang.Kata kunci : Kegiatan Outbound, Pembentukan Perilaku Sosial dan Emosional, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Multimedia is media that combine two or more elements are composed of text, graphics, images, photographs, audio, video, and animation are integrated. In multimedia-assisted learning, students are given the opportunity to learn not only of learning resources such as teachers, but give the opportunity to students to develop better cognitive, creative, and innovative. Cognitive Load Theory is a theory that was introduced as a teaching theory based on the knowledge of human cognitive architecture that we have. The main principle of Cognitive Load Theory is the quality of learning is enhanced if attention is concentrated on the role and limitations of working memory. Abstract

Konsepsi-konsepsi yang paling menonjol mengenai kurikulum bisa diklasifikasikan menjadi empat golongan, yaitu: humanistik, rekonstruksionalis sosial, teknologis, dan akademik. Perumus dari tiap-tiap jenis kurikulum tersebut masing-masing memiliki pertanyaan yang berbeda mengenai kurikulum: apa yang harus diajarkan? Kepada siapa? Kapan? Dan bagaimana? Para penganut kurikulum humanis menyarankan bahwa sebuah kurikulum seharusnya memberikan wadah bagi pengalaman pribadi yang memuaskan bagi setiap siswa. Para humanis baru merupakan pelaku aktualisasi diri yang melihat kurikulum sebagai sebuah proses liberasi yang memenuhi kebutuhan akan pertumbuhan dan integritas pribadi. Namun demikian para humanis tersebut jangan diartikan sebagai pendidik dalam tradisi seni liberal yang menganggap humaniora sebagai disiplin ilmu yang terpisah, seperti: seni, musik, dan sastra, dan mereka yang berusaha untuk berhubungan dengan manusia hanya melalui karya kultural. Para rekonstruksionis sosial menekankan kebutuhan sosial yang terdapat pada kepentingan individual. Mereka menyatakan bahwa tanggung jawab sebuah kurikulum adalah untuk melakukan reformasi sosial dan menurunkan masa depan yang lebih baik bagi masyarakat. Mereka menekankan perkembangan nilai-nilai sosial dan penerapannya di dalam proses berpikir kritis. Teknologis melihat penyusunan kurikulum merupakan sebuah proses teknologis untuk meraih apa yang dikehendaki oleh pembuat kebijakan. Mereka menganggap dirinya bertanggung jawab untuk menciptakan realita yang menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum yang mereka susun sesuai dengan tujuan yang dikehendaki. Efisiensi dan akuntabilitas merupakan nilai akhir bagi seorang teknolog. Orientasi mereka tidaklah netral karena teknolog memiliki komitmen terhadap suatu metode yang akhirnya akan berpengaruh terhadap tujuan dan isi kurikulum. Orang yang memiliki orientasi akademik memandang kurikulum sebagai kendaraan yang bisa digunakan oleh pembelajar untuk mengenali disiplin ilmu dan mengenali bidang-bidang ilmu yang terorganisir. Mereka melihat isi yang terorganisir dari disiplin ilmu tersebut lebih sebagai sebuah kurikulum yang harus dicapai daripada sebuah sumber informasi untuk mendalami masalah personal dan lokal. Orang yang termasuk dalam kategori ini menganggap bahwa kurikulum akademik merupakan cara terbaik untuk mengembangkan pemikiran – bahwa penguasaan sejenis pengetahuan yang biasa ditemukan pada kurikulum semacam itu akan membentuk cara berpikir rasional.

Abstract

Parents are obliged to take care of their children’s future, especially by  rendering  sufficient  education.  Children  are  believed  to  bring about happiness every now and then, who generate family’s pride up to the almighty judication. Some people are save and some are not in that court, where children will give sigificant contribution in it. That’s why the children’s well being has become the parents obligation. To bring about  children’s well  being, parents should also render the good treatments during the life cycle of their children. The main duties of parents for their children are giving them the good names, sending them to the good schools where they can learn religion, and marry them to their good spouses. Psychologically, when children are sent to school for the first time, they will feel that they are put apart from parents’  care,  so  that  may  of  them  have  to  go  difficult  phase of adjustment. The adjustment includes that of education so as to run as naturally  as  possible.   To  get   the   naturality   of   the   education delegation, teachers and educators are obliged to be able to nurture any value to students as naturally as possible. Parenting model of teaching serves the requirements of teaching children just the way the parrents do, so that it is assumptively effective in teaching elementary students  by  taking  consideration  on  the  psychologial  aspect  of children. Key words:  Parenting   Model   of   teaching,   children   education optimalization

Abstract

Character education has been termed as a process of nurturing values to students to have self-reliance against God, themselves, others, environment and national awareness, which are implemented on their thought, attitude, sense, speech and action based on the norms of religion, law, ethics, culture and custom. Character education at school must involve the stakeholders. The implementation of character education is carried out through launching learning experience which is rooted from building character on students. Character education is integrated classroom practice of all subjects, which can adopt some approaches, one of which is contextual approach bringing real practice in classroom. Abstract

Guna bertahan untuk hidup atau mempertahankan kehidupan demi kelangsungan kelompok bangsa (warga masyarakatnya), diperlukan seperangkat pendidikan yang biasa disebut kompetensi (kompetensi dasar) agar bangsa Indonesia bisa menjadi sekelompok bangsa yang profesional, kompetitif, dan unggul. Kompetensi dasar adalah ruh dari kesuksesan dalam berkarya. Terpuruknya suatu bangsa baik dari aspek ekonomi, budaya, pendidikan, dan moneter bukan karena ketidakmampuan pemerintah, tetapi justru kompetensi dasar yang dimiliki penyelenggara negara itu sendiri dipertanyakan. Sangat disayangkan keluasan bumi pertiwi dari sabang sampai merauke, kekayaan alam yang berlimpah, kesuburan tanah yang bisa menghasilkan apapun tanaman yang disemai pasti berbuah, itu tidak bisa membawa bangsa Indonesia menjadi tuan rumah di negeri sendiri, tetapi justru sebaliknya menjadi kuli di negeri sendiri yang akibatnya melahirkan kemiskinan, kebodohan, dan bangsa yang selalu hidup dibawah telunjuk bangsa lain, karena itu semua tidak adanya kompetensi dasar yang dimiliki bangsa kita untuk mengelola, menjaga, mengambil manfaat yang besar dari kekayaan alam yang ada, serta ketidakmampuannya menjaga kelestarian peninggalan ibu pertiwi.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Kompetensi, Professional
