Abstract

E-matter that is structured science area information set for study that is presented in the form of electronic that make easy student to accessing matter that taught by teacher, so that easier student to study matter that given. Courselab ingredient composer’s soft apparatus teaches multimedia to e-learning powerful and easy used. Courselab this be alternative that can be used teacher to learning e-matter for student especially Class V. This research aims to detect feasibility e-matter study that developed based on validation result to be used in social science study at Class V elementary school. Research method that used R & D. R & D method that used to produce certain product, and test product effectiveness. This method is used to produce and test e-matter based on Courselab. Study media based on Courselab social science that developed proper used to support study social science main criticism appreciates service and struggle figure part in prepare Indonesia independence, because tested the feasibility by media expert and study matter expert with proper result. Keywords: E-matter, Courselab

Abstract

Kajian tentang sejarah asal mula Kota Balikpapan melalui perayaan Erau Balik Delapan, karena adanya fenomena budaya di sepanjang Pantai Melawai. Fenomena budaya yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya itu menjadi perhatian masyarakat yang mayoritas pendatang. Hal tersebut karena selama ini Kota Balikpapan dikenal tidak memiliki budaya asli, yang ada ialah budaya pendatang. Sedangkan Erau sendiri merupakan salah satu kebudayaan Kalimantan Timur yang sering dirayakan di tempat tertentu lainnya di Kalimantan Timur dan bukan di Balikpapan. Selain itu perayaan tersebut juga disakralkan dengan hadirnya Sultan Kutai, Ratu Kutai, dan Penasihat Sultan, sehingga sangat menarik untuk mengetahui keterkaitan Kesultanan Kutai dengan perayaan Erau di Balikpapan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, berupa deskripsi mendalam terhadap fenomena sejarah asal mula Kota Balikpapan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan participant observation, indepth interview, dan dokumentasi. Guna mencapai kredibilitas data, dilakukan cara pengamatan secara terus-menerus dan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan asal mula Balikpapan melalui Erau Balik Delapan merupakan perpaduan antara sejarah, budaya, dan legenda yang masih mengakar di masyarakat Kutai khususnya. Abstract

Based on the observations of pre research made in class V MI NW Pancor Kopong, it found the problem that the Indonesian teachers have difficulty in teaching of poem writing. The problems of low ability to write poetry on students are always a constraint among learners and teachers, especially in V MI NW Pancor Kopong in 2013/2014 academic year. Based on this reality, the researcher conducted a study with the aim to improve students writing poetry at class V MI NW Pancor Kopomg in 2013/2014 academic year through the implementation of constructivism strategies in learning the Indonesian language. Data collection techniques of this study are test and observation. The collected data were analyzed to find the average value, ideal capabilities and look for the ability of group. Based on the result of analysis, it obtains the outcome of student learning with an average 49.86. Classically, it just reaches 17:24%. It means that of 29 students, there are 6 students who have completed or received value above 65 and an increase in cycle II. At the second cycle, 9 of 29 students have fulfilled the criteria of minimum completeness. Based on the percentage calculation obtained, the classical learning completeness is 31.03%. The result of the second cycle has not yet reached the target set. Target can be reached at the third cycle in which 27 students of 29 or 93.10% have been completed. Result of the third cycle has exceeded the target of 90%. Based on the analysis, the application of constructivism learning strategy models to improve the ability to write poetry in grade V MI NW Pancor Kopong at the academic year 2013/2014 in the field of the Indonesian language is successful.Keywords: Ability to write poetry, constructivism learning strategies.

Abstract

Karakter positif harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru terutama guru SD yang menjadi ujung tombak pendidikan dasar. Pembentukan karakter positif pada calon guru SD seharusnya dimulai dari proses perkuliahan. Gejala yang ditunjukkan oleh mahasiswa semester 2 Prodi PGSD IKIP PGRI Madiun adalah kurangnya karakter positif yang terbukti dengan banyaknya mahasiswa yang terlambat dalam mengikuti proses perkuliahan, mengumpulka tugas, dan kurang proaktifnya mahasiswa terhadap perkembangan yang terjadi dalam dunia kampus. Untuk itu diperlukan penyelesaian masalah melalui penelitian tindakan yang secara umum bertujuan untuk mengembangkan karakter. Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM) sebagai salah satu sarana perkuliahan dipilih sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah. LKM yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah LKM terbimbing berbasis inquiry sehingga dalam proses perkuliahan mahasiswa dapat menemukan konsep secara mandiri kemudian proses pembimbingan dilakukan untuk meluruskan konsep yang salah serta melakukan praktik secara langsung untuk memupuk keterampilan berbahasa mahasiswa. Karena penelitian yang digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, maka dalam penelitian ini diambil kelas yang paling bermasalah dalam hal karakter. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal, kelas yang paling bermasalah dalam hal ini adalah kelas 2G. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah proses perkuliahan dengan LKM ini berlangsung, mahasiswa yang semula diindikasikan bermasalah dalam hal disiplin dan keaktifan menunjukkan perkembangan disiplin dan keaktifan yang baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKM terbimbing berbasis inquiry memang efektif untuk mengembangkan karakter. Kata Kunci: Karakter, LKM

Abstract

This Study aims to produce a model learning device discovery learning with scientific approach to improve the character charged valid creative thinking, practical and effective. The model refers to a model of learning development includes activities Plomp initial investigation, design, realization/contruction, testing, evaluation and revision. The results showed that (1) learning tools developed valid; syllabus ehit an average of 3,3 (very good); RPP with an average of 3,2 (good); LKS with an average of 3,2 (good); textbook student with an average of 3,3 (very good); and TKBK with an average of 3,5 (good).; (2) the stated learning practical , namely: 1) the activity of student on both criteria, an average score 74,1%; 2) the activity of the teacher are very good on the criterion, the average score of 98,25; 3) positive teacher response, a score of 97,14; 4) positive students response, average 89,73.; (3) the learning of mathematics is declared effective the indicator 1) traffic to think creatively achieve mastery with the average value of 71,55 and a classical completeness reaches 90%; 2) the average grade of creative thinking ability model of discovery learning with scientific approachis better than ekspositori class; 3) the character of the curiosity and skills to communicate a positive influence on the ability to think creatively; and 4) an increase in the ability to think creatively in class models discovery learning with scientific approach.Keywords: discovery learning, scientific approach, creative thinking ability.

Abstract

This  research  is  attempted  to:   (1)   describe   the   steps   of   the development of  local-wisdom-based integrated teaching media; (2) describe the quality of the local-wisdom-based teaching media; (3) describe the implementation of local-wisdom-based teaching media; and (4) describe the impacts of the implementation of local-wisdom- based  teaching  media.  The  method  of  the  research  is  Dick  and Carey’s model of Research and Development, which frames the development of teaching instruments. The objects of the research are the developed teaching instruments, and the subjects are 10 students of Balerejo II and 30 students of Balerejo IV. The data are analyzed descriptively by using observation record for the teaching events, and appraisal technique for the teaching instruments. The results of the analysis  show  that:  (1)  the  teaching  instruments  can  be  well- developed being measured by the Dick and Carey’s model, which are scored as: 4.22 for Lesson Plan, 4.5 for Media, 4.14 for Teacher’s Guide, 4.26 for Book, and 3.96 Student Work Sheets; (2) the quality of the local-wisdom media is good; (3) the implementation of the model is  good,  by  89.75% of  the  application  of  lesson  plan  in  the fisrt meeting and 91.01% in the second meeting. Students’  response is good, by 40.6 (agree) and 41.2 (very much agree). Teacher’s activities are good in response to the suggested activities of the lesson plan. Students’ activities are good with 99.41% of the activities are relevant to lesson plan, and the average achievement raise significantly. (4) Supporting factors cope with students’ experience in learning amusingly without disturbing contact to their mates. Some disadvantagous factors can be resolved by teacher’s improvisations. Abstract

Dongkrek attraction is a stage which is composed of music, dance and dramatic story arranged in a single set of show. The structure of the stage is seen in the unique type of music instrument. Masks have become the reflection of the characterization of the characters in stage. The music intsruments of Dongkrek attraction are: kenthongan, kenong, bedug, beri, korek and gong pamungkas. The masks are typified as topeng buta/gendruwo; topeng roro perot, topeng roro ayu and topeng eyang palang. Cultural values reflected in Dongkrek attraction consist of those of education, moral, leadership, heroism and aesthetics. Dongkrek attraction can also serve functions of fulfiling psychological needs, expressing self-esttem, releasing tension and ammusement. The masks in Dongkrek represent some characters; topeng buta/gendruwo for evil, eyang palang for wisdom.Key words: Values, Functions, Dongkrek Attraction

Abstract

Learning through the media of information and communication technology is expected for children to be intelligent, critical, and creative, and able to solve problems relating to everyday life. Awareness of teachers to improve the quality of education through the medium of ICT is the integration in the achievement of life skills as the main orientation of educational purposes. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique, with 28 research subjects of certified educators in elementary school Singosari. The result showed that teachers already know about the media ICT learning through workshops conducted by the Ministry of Education, Books, Training and seminars as well as through training when taking part the teacher certification.Keywords: Teachers with Certified Educators, Media ICT, Learning SD

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran cooperative learning type make a-match terhadap hasil belajar IPA, dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 01 Manisrejo Kota Madiun tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) siswa yang diberi pembelajaran model cooperative learning type make a-match lebih baik dari siswa yang diberi pembelajaran model konvensional; (2) jika dilihat dari model pembelajaran yang digunakan ini, maka hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan kedua pembelajaran tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran make a-match lebih tertarik dan mereka merasa gembira. Karena dalam pembelajaran ini, siswa tidak hanya belajar saja akan tetapi siswa belajar sambil bermain dan ini lebih membuat siswa aktif dalam belajar. Sehingga akan menghasilkan nilai yang lebih baik dari siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional, sedangkan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional cenderung pasif dan ini akan mengakibatkan hasil nilai yang rendah.
