Abstract

Resource Based View (RBV) is used to identify problems faced by SMEs. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, it can be seen that SMEs have six problems. These problems include: limited human resources, lack of advanced technology, not having enough knowledge about the target market, not having a good enough SMES management systems, competitor competition, and price from suppliers that fluctuate. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Entrepreneurial Marketing on Innovative Performance. This study uses questionnaire as a research instrument for 35 respondents, SMEs who sell snacks in Surabaya city. The results of this study indicated that Entrepreneurial Marketing, consisting of Market Orientation and Entrepreneurial Orientation, has a positive and significant influence on Innovative Performance of SMEs. This shows that the SMES business unit that implements Entrepreneurial Marketing will experience an increase in the performance of the business unit

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of rare resources oncompetitive advantage and business performance. This research was conducted onTenun Ikat SMEs Lamongan. The research sample was 35 business units selected usingsaturated sampling method, that is all the members of the population sampled. The unitof analysis in this study is SMEs and put the owners/managers as respondents. Datawere analyzed by Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The resultsshowed that rare resources are related to competitive advantage and businessperformance, that competitive advantage is related to business performance, and thatcompetitive advantage mediates the rare resources – performance relationship.  Keywords: rare resources, competitive advantage, business performance

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of product quality and promotional mix on customer’s loyalty. The population in this study were all BlackBerry customers from student level in five university in Jakarta. The concept of product quality and promotion mix were adopted from various sources, both primary and secondary data is obtained. Determination of the sample in this research is non propability stratified sampling method. Validity and reliability are used to measure each variable item of research. Furthermore, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test, and then correlation analysis used the SPSS program. Based on the result of the regression analysis, it was found that the product quality variable and promotion mix variable influence significantly partially on customer’s loyalty. Similarly product quality variable and promotional mix variable simultaneously gives significant effect on customer’s loyalty.Keywords: product quality, promotional mix, customer’s loyalty

Abstract

This study aimed to see whether intention of applying for microcredit was influenced by factors of demographic and online business characteristics. The selection of respondents used convenience sampling method by collecting qualitative and descriptive information through online survey to 235 online seller who were members of the Indonesian Online Business Association (APOI).  The results of the study using logistic regression analysis proved that only the type of online business that was significantly related to the intention of applying for micro credit.  Financial institutions should offer credit products that are suitable for the type of online business to increase intention. Further research based on the type of business and online products will provide better overview of online MSME intnetion models.

Abstract

Abstract. Various studies revealed that ISO 14001 is an integrated environmentalmanagement system which are considered to be capable for improving firms‟environmental and financial performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of ISO14001 Environmental Management System certification on firm‟s environmental andfinancial performance. The samples of the research were ISO 14001 certified firmswhich listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Yearly data were collected for the period of2007-2015. The research employed multivariate data panel regression as the mainmethod. The results showed there is no impact from ISO 14001 certification towardsenvironmental performace and no solid evidence that ISO 14001 has an effect on thefinancial performance. In addition, there is an indication that older firms (over 30 yearsold) tend to pursue ISO 14001 certification based on firm‟s characteristics in thesamples.

Abstract: The research aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence andachievement motivation to achievement in learning ofstudents in Akparnas UnasJakarta.The Research is descriptive research with used regression analysis andcorrelation with data of questionnaire collected from the all students at Akparnas UnasJakarta.The result of research showed that Emotional intelligence and achievementmotivation have a positive and significant effect to achievement in learning. Abstract

Abstract. Bata shoes was the first top brand Indonesia in 2015-2017,  however, Bata’s selling rate come through decreased. The purpose of this study was to analyze brand equity ten influence towards purchase intention and purchase decision. Technique of sampling method in this research was quota purposive sampling. Total sample size was 200 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and Structural Equation Model (SEM) version 3.2.1 SMART PLS. This study shows that purchase intention of hedonistic consumers is influenced by brand awareness, brand associations, and brand loyalty. Purchase intention has influence on current purchase and future purchase. Current purchases of hedonistic consumers has influence on future purchases. Purchase intention of utilitarian consumers is influenced by perceived quality and brand loyalty. Meanwhile, purchase intention affects current purchase. In addition, future purchases of utilitarian consumers is influenced by current purchases. Thus, the results of this research would benefit to PT Bata, Tbk as considerating on formulating strategy of strong brand building in increasing sale and facing market competition

Abstract

Abstract. This research is intended to know how big the influences of fundamental ratio,market ratio, business performance and macro-economic to the systematic risk and theirImpacts to the performance on shares at the Consumer goods industry which listed atIndonesia stock exchange. The sampling method used was purposive sampling technique.From population of 37 companies, 16 companies met the criteria to the sample. Data in thisresearch are collected by using the method of documentation study and documents ofcompanies in the Consumer goods industry sector with the sources deriving from FinancialStatements of companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2010-2014. Datais analyzed by using partial least square modeling processed through the Smart PLS softwareof 3.0 versions.Output of this study indicates that the fundamental ratio and market ratio havesignificant influence, but business performance, macro-economic do not have significantinfluence to the systematic risks, Further, fundamental ratio, market ratio and businessperformance do not have significant influence as well to the performance on shares, but on thecontrary the macro-economic has significant to performance on shares. Abstract

Abstrack: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of job satisfaction, work environment and work motivation and its impact on the employee performance. The independent variable are job satisfaction, work environment and work motivation with employee performance as dependent variable. Primary data were collected by using questioner .Using total sampling, total 114 samples were obtained from employees inIndustrial and Energy Division PT Haskoning Indonesia. From the results of the data processing, the job satisfaction variables had no affect to the employee performance variable, work environment variable also had no affect to the employee performance variable, but work motivation affected to the employee performance variable. While job satisfaction, work environment and work motivation are simultaneously affect the performance of employees. The conclusionof this study, in order to affect employee performance, the company must increase employee motivation to obtain maximum results and meet the targets set.Keywords: job satisfaction, work environment, employee motivation, employee performance

Abstract

Innovation is needed for every business organization, especially in the turbulence environments, as it is believed as a driver of business performance. This research aims to investigate the antecedents of innovation in Small and Medium Entreprises (SMEs) in Malang City. One hundred and eighty-seven questionnaires were collected by using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using partial least square. The hypothesis testing showed that all hypotheses are supported. Internal environment proven to be an antecedent of flexibility strategy and innovation. Furthermore, strategic flexibility is also proven as a driver of innovation. In addition, strategic flexibility also plays a mediating role in the relationship between internal environment and innovation. This research implies that in order to enhance SME’s innovativeness, the manager should ensure that the firm has a strong internal environment. A condusive internal environment will lead to the more flexible strategy and at the end it will enhance SME’S innovativeness. This research is projected to contribute to the body of knowledge, especially in the domain of strategic flexibility and innovation in SMEs in Indonesia. In addition, this research also gives guideline for SME manager about how to strengthen the innovation activities in their business organization
