Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence andoccupational health either partially or simultaneously on the employee's performance.This type of research is correlational. The population of this study are employees CV.Fajar Offset Mojokerto, with a population of about 80 employees. Data was collectedby using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The dataanalysis used regression analysis with SPSS version 23. Based on the results of theregression analysis, it was found that emotional intelligence and occupational healthsimultaneously affect the performance of employees and also it was found thatoccupational health and emotional intelligence partial effect on employee performance.In this regard then, the company needs to provide additional training, especially for theself-development of emotional intelligence and maintain employees' health in order toimprove employee performance and build productivityKeywords: Emotional Intelligence, Occupational Health, Employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of product quality and service quality savings on interest savings back partially and simultaneously. The population in this study is that customers save at CIMB Niaga branch Bintaro, while the sample is 100 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Type of data used is primary data correlation and multiple regression analysis.The results showed that the quality of the product has a positive effect on savings interest savingsback. Dominant factor affecting the interest saving back customers is the quality of the product.Keywords: Savings Product Quality, Service Quality, Savings Interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze technical efficiency and evaluate the effect of some sources of inefficiency in the Indonesian fishery canned firms during the period of 1990-2015. We calculate technical efficiency using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) method with Time Varying Decay. The average of technical efficiency in this industry during the period of 1990-2015 was only 57%. It indicates that firms in this industry still encounter a problem in allocating the resources in efficient manner.  However, during the period of 1994-2015, the efficiency in the Indonesian fishery canned industry has declined. We also employed the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method to evaluate the sources of inefficiency. The results showed that eight variables affected to the efficiency in this industry, thereby it will reduce fishery product competitiveness in the future

Abstract

Abstract. AIMI (Association of Indonesian Breastfeeding Mothers) is one of the nonprofitentities in Indonesia that relies on its social media account to facilitate itsmembers to help and support each other in issues related with breastfeeding activities.This research investigates whether social identity, member’s trust to the group andother members, and group norms are the antecedents of online helping behavior inAIMI Facebook Group. Data was collected using online questionnaire posted on theAIMI online forum in Facebook. Respondents were AIMI members recruited usingjudgment sampling; which allowed only member who had posted their ideas orthoughts or comments in the AIMI online forum in Facebook. Findings suggest that thestronger the social identity shared among members of the community, the greater thetrust and group norms developed among the members. Responden adalah anggota AIMIdirekrut melalui judgment sampling; dengan kriteria yang membatasi hanya anggotaAIMI yang pernah melakukan posting di forum tersebut yang direkrut sebagairesponden..Temuan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa online helping behavior dapattercipta dari identitas sosial yang kuat, kepercayaan besar, dan norma kelompok diantara anggotanya.Kata Kunci: identitas sosial, online helping behavior, trust, community, media sosial

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the role of reference groups and integrated marketing communications with the intention of college selection through the mediation of attitudes and subjective norms of consumers. The analysis is done from the perspective of high school students in Indonesia as a developing country. The survey was conducted on 432 students with 91.90 percent of respondent's data that can be analyzed. Data analysis and model testing are proposed using Structural Equation Modeling - Lisrel. The result of the analysis shows that there is an influence of the reference group, integrated marketing communications, attitude and subjective norm toward the intention of college selection. These results provide an overview to the college managerial to develop an integrated marketing communication strategy aimed not only at the consumers of high school students, but also those who play a role in influencing the electoral process such as schools, friends and families, especially parents. Empirically, the results of this study indicate that college consumers in Indonesia in this study are high school students assess that integrated reference groups and marketing communications have an important role in influencing their electoral intention. Subsequently found, the reference group and integrated marketing communications affect the intention of college selection with the mediation of attitude and subjective norms.

Abstract: The research aims to determine the influence of teacher’s competency andMotivation to the teacher’s performance in Yadika 3 Senior High School.The variables’research are Competency And Motivation to analyze the influence of Teacher’sPerformance as the samples through questioner by using ordinal scale with saturationtechnique for the total amount of Yadika 3 Senior High School’ teachers are 63 people.Using Multiple Linier Regression analysis to analyze data. Abstract

High concentration of family ownership in East Asia has led to agency conflicts between the majority and minority shareholders potentially affecting the company's dividend policy. This study aims to examine the effect of family ownership on dividend policy. This study also examined the role of board of independence as a moderator in strengthening the influence of family ownership on dividend policy. The result proves that family ownership negatively affects dividend policy but with the existence of board of independence, family ownership has positive effect on dividend policy. This study contributes to the theory of agency type II which discusses conflicts between majority shareholders by family and minority that can be eliminated by good corporate governance mechanisms

Abstract

Abstract. Entrepreneurial intentions among undergraduates students need deeper studyin order to reveal entrepreneurial intention formation model, intention determinantvariables, and how those variables interact each other that affect intention formationprocess and intention strength level. Personal attitudes and social norms are the mostimportant variable influencing entrepreneurial intentions, besidesperceived behavioralcontrol. These three variables are the most important entrepreneurial intentionsdeterminant variable that direcly are influenced by personal beliefs about these factors.Entrepreneurship educations are aimed to change all personal beliefs to be morepositive to entrepreneurial activity so we could find strong entrepreneurial intentionsamong undergraduate students. Niat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa memerlukan studi yang dapatmengungkap model pembentukan niat, variabel-variabel yang menjadi determinan niatserta bagaimana interaksi antar variabel tersebut menentukan proses pembentukan niatdan kekuatan niat yang dihasilkannya. Sikap personal dan norma sosial terhadapaktivitas entrepreneurial menjadi dua faktor yang sangat menentukan pembentukan niatberwirausaha selain kepercayaan terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri yang menjadi faktorketiga yang secara bersamaan menentukan niat wirausaha. Ketiga faktor penentu niattersebut pada gilirannya sendiri dipengaruhi oleh beliefs yang dimiliki seorang individuterhadap masing-masing faktor itu. Pengaruh dari edukasi kewirausahaan yang ada dikampus diduga dan dimaksudkan memang untuk dapat mengubah dan mengarahkanseluruh beliefs menjadi lebih positif terhadap aktivitas entrepreneurial sehingga niatberwirausaha dapat terbentuk lebih kuat di kalangan mahasiswa. Abstract

Abstract: Currently, PT. Indonesia Nan Ya Indah Plastics Corporation (PT. INNAN) have not implemented the performance appraisal system to evaluate their employee‘s performance. In this time, PT. INNAN only use the level of attendance and subjective views of each section head to evaluate the performance of each employee. This condition causes the PT INNAN experiencing difficulties when PT. INNAN doing an annual evaluation in order to provide wage increases for competent‘s employees. To overcome these problems, this research aims to design a performance appraisal in accordance with the conditions of the company. The method used for the design of the performance appraisal are analytic hierarchy process (AHP), rating scale, dan fuzzy logic. There are 5 criteria and 16 sub-criteria are used as a criterion in the design of performance appraisal in the PT. INNAN. The five criteria are weighted by using AHP. Results calculated by AHP shows that the criteria which have the greatest weight is the personality, followed by discipline, skills, interpersonal, and knowledge. Furthermore, the results of the performance appraisal design tested to 10 operators in the Department of Production (Machine Calender A002) and the assessor is Division Head of Sheet. Result of assessment show us that there were two operators who have the same high value and there were one operator who have the lowest value.Keywords: Performance Appraisal of Employee, Fuzzy Logic, Rating Scale,Analytical Hierarchy Process

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the push and pull factors of the motivation of senior tourists from Asia and non-Asia in choosing Bali as their destination, as well as examining any differences in the push and pull factors of both groups of nationality. Exploratory factor analysis that was continued with differences analysis were completed to analyse the data. Results revealed six factors that pushed seniors to travel to Bali: 1) exploring and increasing knowledge about the local culture, 2) quality time and visiting nostalgic places with close accompanies, 3) relaxation and having fun, 4) spending time with family members, 5) rejuvenation and health, 6) sharing about destination experience. In addition, there were four pull factors namely: 1) hospitality services and tourist attractions, 2) local culture, 3) natural scenery and climate, 4) quite rest area. While significant differences shown between Asian and non-Asian in factors that intrinsically pushed them totravel to Bali, no significant differences appeared between senior tourists from two groups of nationaliy in considering Bali’s destination attributes that pulled them to visit the island.
