Abstract

Globalization has resulted in changes of social life, its include education and employment sectors. It also affects the dynamic of Higher Education in the needs and demands of life and work. To face the challenges and global competition, Indonesia has been preparing with the issuance of Presidential Decree No. 8 of 2012 on the National Qualifications Framework of Indonesia (KKNI). It also supported by Permendikbud No. 73 Year 2013 on the application of KKNI in the field of Higher Education which expected to provide an opportunity for the college to obtain equality recognition of graduates in the working world nationally. KKNI is a statement of the quality of Indonesian human resources, where the benchmark qualifications set by the achievements of learning (learning outcomes). Level of qualification is national consensus, particularly for higher education. The department of Islamic Education (PAI) in Tarbiyah and Teaching Training Faculty (FITK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has graduated hundreds of students. It is urgent to assess how far the achievement of learning has been possessed by graduates of PAI and how they adapt within development of life. This study will discuss (1). What are the indicators that can measure the profile of graduates through tracer studies of graduates PAI toward development of curriculum KKNI? (2) How is the result of tracer study of graduates PAI influence toward development of curriculum KKNI? (3) How the department prepares graduates PAI to have proper qualification based on curriculum KKNI? Results of research and analysis shows that (1) Graduate profile indicators that is used as a reference in the tracer study based on KKNI include: suitability of graduate’s work with scientific competence acquired; graduate waiting period and they first income/salary. (2) The results of tracer studies indicate that the job of respondents sampled in this study tracer is in accordance with scientific competence. As for the waiting period of working respondents most prior six months, while the respondents opinion about the completeness of campus facilities, especially in the majors PAI quite varied, including: multiply the training and development activities, improving the quality of lecturers, multiply the course of practice, additional facilities, expand more information and career opportunities sharing and others such as comparative studies, discussion room, expansion of parking area, networking, graduate network, tightened admission, lowered tuition fee, cost for free training and more. (3) The efforts of PAI in preparing the graduate in accordance with the curriculum KKNI, conceptually classified in three things: responsive, preventive and solution efforts. These three things are intertwined, so that some of the efforts made at the same time cover three concepts at once. The efforts that have been made include efforts in academics, human resources, media, technology, finance and its cooperation with stakeholders.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is rooted in the terma of pluralism, in the sense that Islam looks at the diversity of the tribe, nation, language, culture and religion as reality, even as the media to know each other, respect, and appreciate so that created a life that is peaceful, tolerant, and peace in accordance with the terminology of Islam as a religion of peace. Islamic concept of multiculturalism is explicitly stated in the verses of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet, which outline include: attitude to appreciate yourself, menghargaioranglain attitude, the attitude of valuing natural environments and culturally, attitudes appreciate the beauty, attitude, and appreciate the beauty of the attitude of valuing integrity.

Abstract

This paper seeks to photograph the thinking of moral education of children today in the perspective of Islam, the term children nowadays in Indonesian  better known as Kids Zaman Now. Kids Zaman Now is actually a joke as well as satire refers to the "weird" or unnatural behavior of children today. moral education is a set of basic moral principles and virtues of attitudes and temperaments that must be owned and made habit by the child from the beginner until he became a mukallaf, ready to wade through the sea of life. In the modern era, the problems that arise are physical and psychological problems. Physical problems lead to human conditioning as the object of all science and technology products.This research is library research. This research collects text data. In this case the author held the collection of books, articles, internet data and journals that have relevance to the subject of the study author.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the interaction of learning style and learning strategies towards the result of learning Al Qur’an among freshmen of Ma’had al-Jami’ah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. A quantitative method with 2x2 factorial design was used in this study. The samples of this study were 40 students of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang who were selected by using random purposive technique sampling. They were classified into two groups; experimental and control groups. In the process of analysis, the students’ score of learning Quran in terms of tajwid were correlated with the grouped students based on their learning style and learning strategies. The result of this study showed that there was a different result of learning Quran between the students with field independent learning style and field dependent learning style. Besides, there was also a different result of learning Quran between the students with musical and conventional learning strategy. However, there was no interaction between learning style and learning strategies towards the students’ result of learning Qur’an.Keywords: learning styles, learning strategies, and the results of the Study

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School is a unique Islamic educational institution, not only because of its existence which has been very long, but also because the culture, methods and networks applied by religious institutions are different from other Islamic educational institutions. The magnitude of the role of boarding school in community empowerment certainly can not be separated from the role of kiai as the owner as well as the leader of pesantren in moving the pesantren community. In leading a boarding school, Kiai has leadership characteristics that vary from one to another, it is also adapted to the characteristics of the boarding school he leads. Today it is true that the leadership of pesantren does not apply single leadership, and pesantren organization has been included in the form of foundation. With this new phenomenon, the pesantren organization leads impersonally, without reducing the kiais role as the supreme leader, then leadership leads to a collective pattern, in accordance with the hierarchy of leadership of a foundation organization.Keyword: Collective Leadership, Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

Abstract: The needs of Islamic education in universities is very high, meaning that students are very important for religious education is provided mainly in the field of belief and morals. The Lecturer of Islamic religion in LP3I-Business College e Unfortunate problem encountered is a lot to know about the science of business science and the world of work to mengkolaborasi with Islamic religious education courses (PAI). Lecturer of Islam that teaches Islamic education (PAI) in LP3I-Business College to take steps in teaching PAI, namely: 1. Choose the mosque as a place of teaching and learning from on set in the classroom as the other courses. 2. Require the student to establish the prayer dhuha and recite the Qur'an (verses) before the course begins. 3. Divide the group class discussion in accordance with the material PAI (Islamic education) in LP3I Business College syllabus hapless then presented by the method of discussion in order to make students more easily understand the religious values of Islam especially problem beliefs and morals. 4. Hold the oral exam (reading Quran) and the practice of the prayer at the end of the meeting, in addition there are middle test and final test, the goal to be more intensive.Key Words: Islamic Education, LP3I, Business College

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at understanding the Islamic perspective of jihad derived from The Holy Quran and hadits of The Prophet Muhammad  peace be upon to him. It is a library research that is classified as expanded qualitative-descriptive research. The research found that Jihad term in the Holy Quran  that means “hard work  “ found in 33 verses. These verses have a broad meaning namely a totally hard work in all aspect of life. Despite it is undeniable that there is a verse using Jihad term that means a physical fighting or hold weapon to combat the enemy. But many other verses using Jihad term that means a hard work in universal meaning. Jihad in the Holy Quran has three meanings, namely: (1) carrying on a battle or combat an enemy,(2) fighting for conquering the devil (syaitan), and (3) trying hard to conquer  our ego. Islamic religion teaches to maintain a peaceful life and prohibit all kind of destruction. So, term of terrorism is not found in Islamic teaching. Jihad is not synonym to terrorism because jihad is not an anarchy action but fully devoted  to gain the bounty of Allah.

Abstract

The legislation System of national education No. 20 Year 2003 about education standards consist of standard content, processes, the competence of graduates, educational personnel, infrastructure, management, financing and assessment of education.Standards of competence and standard of graduates, Graduates in Vocational secondary schools are expected to have the ability to build Standard and competence of graduates of the creative, and innovatively in decision making. The reality of the situation of vocational high school graduates do not meet the standard of competence of Graduates, because the existence of limited practical tools so that the experiment also rarely do. The purpose of the study is to describe the practicality, and the effectiveness of the implementation of the model of learning ability-oriented design and conduct experiments to practice critical thinking skills of students of SMK.As for the approach of this study is a descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the implementation of the developed learning the real device, it can be concluded that the ability of the design-oriented learning and experimentation to train creative and critical thinking skills a valid, practical, effective, and can enhance critical thinking skills and creative as well as achieving perfection results of student learning. Abstract

Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang unik, tidak saja karena keberadaannya yang sudah sangat lama, tetapi juga karena kultur, metode dan jaringan yang diterapkan oleh lembaga agama tersebut berbeda dengan lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya. Besarnya peranan pondok pesantren dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat tentunya tidak bisa lepas dari peranan kiai sebagai pemilik sekaligus sebagai pemimpin pesantren dalam menggerakkan komunitas pesantren. Dalam memimpin sebuah pondok pesantren, Kiai memiliki karakteristik kepemimpinan yang berbeda-beda antara satu dengan yang lain, hal tersebut disesuaikan pula dengan karakteristik pondok pesantren yang dipimpinnya. Dewasa ini memang kepemimpinan pesantren yang terjadi tidak lagi menerapkan kepemimpinan tunggal, dan organisasi pesantren pun telah dimasukkan dalam bentuk yayasan. Dengan gejala baru ini, maka organisasi pesantren menjurus kearah impersonal, tanpa mengurangi peranan kiai sebagai pemimpin tertinggi, maka kepemimpinan mengarah pada pola kolektif, sesuai dengan hierarkhi kepemimpinan sebuah organisasi yayasan.

Abstract

This article describes the process of implementing the Overlapping Yasindo Islamic SDLB, using a qualitative approach and type of case study research. Sources of data come from informants and documentation tailored to the focus of research. For data collection techniques using interviews, observation and literature studies. The data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting/displaying data and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources and methods, as well as discussions.The results of the study show that: 1). PAI extracurricular activities carried out at Yasindo Islamic Elementary School Malang include daily programs including 4S (Smiles, greetings, and greetings), praying together, reciting the shahada and daily prayers before starting the lesson and after the experience is finished, the Dhuha prayer in congregation, mauidah hasanah, religious knowledge quiz, reciting the Qur'an, memorizing short letters, PHBI (Mawlid Prophet and Muharram 1 st Warning) PHBN (Commemoration of independence and other national holidays). 2) The moral development activities in the Yasindo Islamic SDLB Malang are conducted in 3 stages, the stage of strengthening the concept of morality (knowing), the application stage (doing) The step of being (being) and the creation of a religious atmosphere. 3). Supporting factors in the extracurricular implementation of PAI at Yasindo Malang Islamic SDLB include; active participation and enthusiasm of students, Collaboration with all teachers, support of student guardians, funding from schools, support from all parties. The inhibiting factor includes; The diverse needs of students so that the teacher must pay attention to each, facilities and infrastructure specifically for children with special needs that are less supportive.
