Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of the implementation of the 'Ali Method in improving the quality of learning tahsin Al-Qur'an at SDITQ Al Kautsar Sepatan Timur, Tangerang Regency. The background of this research is based on the low ability of students to read the Qur'an and the importance of systematic learning management from the perspective of Islamic education management. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with triangulation techniques to maintain data validity. The results of the study show that the implementation of the 'Ali Method has been quite effective through the application of education management functions which include planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision. Learning is carried out in a structured manner through the 3T approach (Talqin, Tarkiz, Tahqiq) and a leveling system that is able to improve the quality of students' reading of the Qur'an. This method has the advantage of using code, movement, and hands-on learning that makes it easier for students to understand. However, there are still several obstacles, such as not optimal learning differentiation, variations in teacher competencies, and evaluation and supervision systems that are not fully data-based. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of Islamic education management studies, especially on tahsin learning management, as well as practical implications for educational institutions in managing Qur'an learning more effectively, systematically, and sustainably.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze archival management in realizing administrative order at the Hayatuddiyar Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru. Archives have a strategic role as a center of authentic information and evidence that supports decision-making, planning, and evaluation of institutional performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with an evaluative descriptive design. The informants consist of school principals, administrative staff, and teachers who are selected purposively. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses an interactive model that includes reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation of sources, techniques, and member checks. The results of the study show that archive management has been run based on four management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. In the planning stage, inventory, classification, and digitization of cloud-based archives have been carried out, but they have not been supported by formal standard operating procedures (SOPs). The organizing stage shows that there is a division of tasks between physical and digital archive managers, although it does not yet have a clear organizational structure and task description. At the implementation stage, the archival system has run in a hybrid manner and is integrated in administrative activities, but it has not been optimal in terms of archive shrinkage. Meanwhile, the supervision stage is actively carried out by the leadership through document checks and periodic evaluations, but it has not been systematically documented. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen a more structured, formal, and sustainable archival system to increase the effectiveness of administrative order in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

Rapid social transformation in the modern era poses new challenges for Islamic educational organizations. Islamic education is required to preserve its religious identity while simultaneously adapting to contemporary developments. The need to integrate tradition, modernity, and spirituality renders the study of organizational behavior in Islamic education both conceptually and practically significant. This study aims to critically examine the characteristics, the roles of tradition, modernity, and spirituality, as well as the ideal model of organizational behavior in Islamic educational institutions. The research employs a qualitative method using a library research approach to analyze relevant theoretical frameworks and empirical findings. The results indicate that: (1) the characteristics of organizational behavior in Islamic education include work motivation as an act of worship, the implementation of an Islamic organizational culture, adherence to the principle of maslahah (public benefit), and the perception of leadership as a trust (amanah); (2) tradition plays a crucial role in shaping organizational identity and maintaining value stability, modernity drives transformation and innovation, while spirituality provides meaning and direction for organizational practices; and (3) consequently, the ideal model of organizational behavior in Islamic education is one that is rooted in traditional values, adaptive to contemporary changes, and oriented toward spiritual principles. his study is expected to contribute to the advancement of scholarly discourse on organizational behavior in Islamic education, particularly in integrating tradition, modernity, and spirituality as a foundational framework for developing adaptive and value-based Islamic organizational cultures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of word of mouth and brand image on students' decisions in choosing a university at the Imam Syafii Islamic Religious Institute (IMSYA) Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of causal associative research. The population in this study is all students in the first semester of the 2025/2026 batch which totals 456 students, with a sample of 213 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used prerequisite tests, F tests, and determination coefficients with the help of SPSS. The results of the study show that word of mouth and brand image partially or simultaneously have a significant effect on students' decisions in choosing higher education. Brand image has a more dominant influence than word of mouth. Overall, both variables make a considerable contribution in explaining student decisions. These findings show that positive social communication and a strong institutional image, especially based on religious values, are important factors in increasing student interest, even in relatively newly developed universities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital transformation in administrative and learning management at MTs. Muallimin UNIVA Medan in the Society 5.0 era. The research is motivated by the limited study of digital transformation that integrates aspects of administration, learning, human resource readiness, and Islamic education values comprehensively in the madrasah environment. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consist of madrasah heads, deputy madrasah heads, teachers, administrative staff, and students who are directly involved in the implementation of education digitalization. The results of the study show that digital transformation at MTs. Muallimin UNIVA Medan has had a positive impact on the quality of education, especially in improving learning effectiveness, administrative efficiency, and digital literacy of students and teachers. The use of digital media, online learning platforms, and the use of EMIS and Madrasah Digital Report Cards help accelerate data management and create more interactive learning. However, the implementation of digital transformation still faces several obstacles, such as limited technology infrastructure, a gap in teachers' digital competencies, and the lack of a comprehensive administrative system. This study concludes that the success of digital transformation requires policy support, readiness of human resources, technological infrastructure, collaborative culture, and integration of Islamic education values so that digitalization can run optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational communication on employee performance within the Librarian Development Center of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Pusbinawan Perpusnas RI) Salemba, Jakarta. This research is motivated by the limited empirical study of the relationship between the two variables in service-based public organizations and the development of national librarians. In addition, previous research has placed organizational communication more as a mediating variable, rather than as an independent variable analyzed with transformational leadership in influencing employee performance. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population amounted to 42 employees and all of them were made respondents through total sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The research instrument consisted of 36 statement items measured using a five-level Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out through validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t-test, F test, and determination coefficient (R²). The results of the study show that transformational leadership and organizational communication have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Organizational communication is the variable that has the most dominant influence on improving employee performance. A determination coefficient value of 0.814 indicates that 81.4% of employee performance variations can be explained by transformational leadership and organizational communication. This research confirms that the effectiveness of leadership and internal communication is a strategic factor in improving employee performance in modern public organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the academic supervision planning of madrasah heads and its impact on improving teacher performance at MTs Mathla'ul Anwar Tempel Rejo, Kedondong District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. The research is motivated by the limited study of academic supervision in rural private madrassas based on Islamic community organizations, especially in the aspect of supervision planning. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study type. The research informants consisted of the head of the madrasah and six teachers who were selected through the purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses the interactive model Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that academic supervision is carried out in a flexible, humanistic, and collaborative manner through supervision planning, class visits, examination of learning tools, post-supervision dialogue, and follow-up of teacher coaching. Academic supervision has a positive impact on improving work discipline, learning quality, completeness of learning administration, and variations in teachers' teaching methods. However, the implementation of supervision still faces obstacles in the form of limited time for madrasah heads, the lack of standard supervision instruments, and the low technological competence of some teachers. This research produced a relevant contextual academic supervision model based on teacher needs applied to rural private madrasas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in designing and implementing educational marketing strategies at Tafaqquh Fiddin Kindergarten during the New Student Admission (PPDB) period. The research is motivated by the high competition of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions in the Cisauk area, Tangerang Regency, so schools are required to have innovative and adaptive marketing strategies. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research informants consisted of the principal, three teachers, two parents of students, and one foundation administrator who were selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that the principal implemented a marketing strategy based on segmentation, targeting, and positioning by highlighting the identity of the sunnah school based on tahfidz and salafiyah. The marketing strategy is carried out through strengthening the tahfidz flagship program, implementing all-in fees, using Instagram and WhatsApp social media, and strengthening relationship marketing through intensive communication with parents. The novelty of this research lies in the existence of a free screening program for prospective students as a psychological approach in the marketing of Islamic-based early childhood education. In addition, marketing success is also supported by the quality of human resources, school facilities, and a fun play-based learning process. This study concludes that the marketing of modern education in Islamic PAUD institutions is not only oriented towards promotion, but also on the development of image, service quality, and emotional relationships with the community in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ease of information retrieval through the shelving system on visitor satisfaction at the Library of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. The research employed a quantitative approach, using observation, questionnaires, and documentation as data collection techniques. The sample consisted of 67 active library visitors selected as respondents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS version 27. The findings reveal that the shelving system has been implemented effectively, particularly in supporting the ease of retrieving collections. This is reflected in the systematic arrangement of materials based on the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC), as well as the use of clear labels and classification codes that help users locate library resources more quickly and accurately. The level of visitor satisfaction is categorized as high, as indicated by the mean score, which demonstrates positive user perceptions regarding the ease of access, speed in finding materials, and efficiency in the information search process. Furthermore, the results of the regression analysis indicate that ease of information retrieval through the shelving system has a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.009 (< 0.05), a t-value of 2.706, and a regression coefficient of 0.349. These results suggest that improvements in the ease of retrieving collections will lead to higher levels of visitor satisfaction. Therefore, optimizing the shelving system is essential in enhancing the overall quality of library services.
