Abstract

Bureaucratic simplification in Indonesia is carried out to overcome the problem of a fat and hierarchical bureaucratic structure, which hampers the efficiency and effectiveness of public services. One of the strategic steps taken is to equalize echelon III and IV administrative positions into functional positions in accordance with Permenpan RB Number 17 of 2021. This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational changes after equalizing administrative positions into functional positions at the Directorate General of Regional Development using the Transformational Change approach. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing primary data through in-depth interviews and direct observation, as well as secondary data from policy documents and academic literature. The results showed that this policy succeeded in creating a leaner organizational structure and accelerating decision-making. However, the implementation of this policy also presents a number of challenges, such as the mismatch of tasks and functions of functional officials, organizational culture resistance, and limited human resource competencies. In addition, although the work process has shifted from a hierarchical system to collaboration-based work, this transition has not been fully optimized due to technical constraints and lack of training. In conclusion, the Transformational Change approach can be an effective framework to support bureaucratic reform, provided that training, competency development, and technological support and adaptive leadership are strengthened. With the right strategy, the Directorate General of Regional Development can become a model for successful bureaucratic reform at the national level.

Abstract

This research background is based on the decline of nationalism values among students due to the influence of modernization. The aim of this study is to analyze the biography and life of Paku Buwana X, to analyze Paku Buwana X's nationalism thought, and to identify the application of Paku Buwana X's nationalism as a learning resource in SMA Negeri 81 Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations. To test the validity of the data, source and method triangulation were employed. The subjects of this research are six eleventh-grade students. The results show that the values of nationalism taught and instilled by Paku Buwana X have positively shaped students' characters and patriotic spirit, especially through exemplification and real-life examples demonstrated by him. Furthermore, critical analysis reveals that stories and experiences of Paku Buwana X can serve as effective media to enhance patriotism and national awareness among students. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of nationalism-based learning models in high schools, as well as to strengthen the role of national figures as sources of inspiration and character education in schools. The study also recommends maximizing narrative approaches involving figures like Paku Buwana X as part of character and nationalism education strategies in the modern era.

Abstract

The success of the health program in Kampung Keluarga Berkualitas (KB) Jenawi is hampered by communication gaps and cultural resistance, making the vital role of community health worker as local figures who utilize social capital important in mobilizing community participation and optimizing the program. The purpose of this article is to identify the role of community health worker's social capital in optimizing the health program in Kampung KB Jenawi. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation and informant interview techniques with several criteria, namely community health worker, residents, village midwives, Health Field Officers (PLKB), and the head of the neighborhood association (RW). The data analysis technique used in this study is thematic data analysis. The results of this study show that: (1) the implementation of bonding social capital of community health worker is more evident in the BKB and BKL health programs in the form of collective homogeneity, internal traditions and solidarity, communication patterns, as well as social and psychological support; (2) the actualization of bridging social capital was aimed at the BKB and BKL programs in the form of internal actor collaboration and external community collaboration, (3) and the implementation of linking social capital was carried out in the BKB, BKR, and BKL programs in the form of government agency networks and government agency delegate actors. The conclusion is that the optimization of each health program in Kampung KB Jenawi is supported by the respective social capital of community health worker.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the tradition of marriage in Beroanging Village, Jeneponto Regency, the perception of Wahdah Islamiyah pilgrims towards the wedding tradition in Beroanging Village, Jeneponto Regency, and the dynamics of social conflicts that arise from the difference in views of Wahdah Islamiyah pilgrims and the community towards the wedding tradition in Beroanging Village, Jeneponto Regency. Using a qualitative approach in phenomenological research, the data collection techniques employed include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the wedding tradition in Beroanging Village has various special series on the day before simorong, including Ammuntuli Je'ne, Anggentung, Appassili, A’bu’bu, Ammuntuli Korongtigi, A’ratek, Anjama Leko', and Akkorongtigi. Each series of marriage traditions has a meaning and value. The Wahdah Islamiyah congregation interprets the marriage tradition as a custom carried out by the previous person, whether carried out or not, will not affect the validity of a marriage bond. The community and the Wahdah Islamiyah congregation in Beroanging Village, Jeneponto Regency have quite significant differences of opinion. The community considers that the tradition of marriage cannot be left alone, while the Wahdah Islamiyah congregation has the opposite opinion. These differences present social conflicts, even though the disputes that occur fall into the category of non-confrontational conflicts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of the symbolic message contained in the procession of the Mampuju Mamongo of the Pamona Tribe in Bungapati Village, North Luwu Regency,  Mampuju Mamongo procession in the tradition of the Pamona Tribe in Bungapati Village, North Luwu Regency, the position of Mampuju Mamongo in maintaining the sustainability of the Pamona Tribe proposal tradition in Bungapati Village, North Luwu Regency. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive research type with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the meaning of symbolic messages in the traditional elements of proposal packages such as areca nuts, betel leaves, betel lime, tobacco, rattan, coins, and areca nut fronds contain deep philosophical values symbolized by purity, honesty in relationships, responsibility, and unity and harmony between the two families united through customary bonds. The Mampuju Mamongo procession is carried out through structured stages, namely, metukana (asking), mantonge mamongo (wrapping), and mabulere mamongo (opening of packages). Each stage has its own function and meaning that gradually confirms the seriousness and responsibility of the male party in the customary proposal process, as well as providing space for the woman and her family to express their consent, and accept customary and social ties. The sustainability of this tradition is maintained through active value inheritance efforts and collaboration between traditional leaders, village governments, and the younger generation, through traditional documentation and strengthening village customary institutions to maintain the cultural identity of the Pamona Tribe in the midst of modernization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Perang Topat ritual as a form of local ecological practice and as an expression of the community’s belief system in environmental conservation. The research employs a qualitative approach using an ethnoecology-based case study design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews with customary leaders, religious figures, and local community members, as well as document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using an interpretative thematic approach through coding, categorization, and inductive identification of ecological values. The findings indicate that the Perang Topat ritual functions as both a religious and social practice while embodying ecological values, including respect for nature, sustainable resource management, and the strengthening of collective awareness regarding environmental preservation. The belief systems of the Sasak (Islam) and Balinese (Hindu) communities concerning the sacredness of nature foster ecological behaviors that are transmitted intergenerationally through ritual practices. Perang Topat can therefore be understood as a form of local ecological practice that contributes to environmental conservation grounded in local wisdom.

Abstract

Learning practices in primary schools continue to show limitations in implementing contextual and student-centered learning despite the adoption of the Merdeka Curriculum. Instructional practices remain dominated by conventional approaches and have not integrated local socio-cultural contexts as part of the learning process. This study aims to analyze the learning needs for Problem Based Learning incorporating the Budak Ngambek Timah tradition among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 8 Namang. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design was employed. The research participants included fourth-grade teachers, fourth-grade students, and the school principal. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which comprises data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that PBL has been recognized by teachers and included in instructional planning; however, its implementation has not been conducted systematically and remains focused on textbook-based instruction. Learning activities have not utilized local social and cultural contexts as learning resources. In addition, students demonstrate strong connections to tin mining activities as part of their families’ social and economic realities; however, these experiences have not been used as a foundation for learning. In terms of learning resources, instruction is still dominated by textual materials and is not supported by contextual resources based on local culture. Overall, the findings reveal a gap between the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum, student characteristics, and classroom learning practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning menggunakan meia audiovisual terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X MA NW Putra Rinjani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain One Grup Pretest Posstest. Sampel penelitian ini tediri dari 1 kelas , yaitu dengan 23 siswa 12 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi,wawancara .tes hasil belajar , dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan menggunakan instrument tes hasil belajar yang sudah diuji validitas, reliabilitas dan uji daya beda dan kesukaraan soal. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adala terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan model project based learningmenggunakan media audiovisual untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X di MA NW Putra Rinjani. Data analisis menggunakan teknik analisis dengan Paired Sampel T- test dengan batuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menujukan adanya peningkatan nilai rata- rata dari pretest sebesar 6.22 menjadi 8.22 pada post- test. Berdasarkan uji Paired Sampel T- test , diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.010<0.05 karena nilai p- value <0.05 maka H1 diterima yang berarti varibel X memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan pada variabel Y . Hal ini dapat menunjuikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan setelah diterapkanya model pembelajaran project based learning menggunakan media audiovisual , dan dapat dibuktikan penerapan model project based learning menggunakan media audiovisual terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah suatu bentuk penelitian yang menggunakan pengumpulan data numerik dan teknik analitik untuk menguji hipotesis, menarik kesimpulan, dan memahami hubungan antar variabel yang diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi Kampus Merdeka dan persepsi terhadap minat mengikuti program MBKM. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang aktif pada Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ekonomi semester 6. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 130 orang mahasiswa. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah dengan menggunakan angket ( kuesioner). Angket atau kuesioner merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara memberi seperangkat pertanyaan atau pernyataan tertulis kepada responden untuk dijawab. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dikarenakan memiliki dua variable bebas dan satu variable terikat. Adapun temuan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; pertama implementasi kampus merdeka berpengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti program MBKM, Kedua Persepsi mahasiswa berpengaruh terhadap minat mengikuti program MBKM dan ketiga Implementasi Kampus Merdeka dan Persepsi mahasiswa berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap minat mengikuti program MBKM dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,398 atau 39,8% minat mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh implementasi kampus merdeka dan persepsi mahasiswa tentang MBKM, sisanya sebesar 60,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam model dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis media Question Card terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di MA NW Bungtiang. Secara khusus, penelitian menelaah: (1) pengaruh penerapan PBL berbasis Question Card terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis, (2) efektivitas media Question Card dalam meningkatkan capaian belajar siswa, serta (3) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa antara pembelajaran berbasis PBL dengan metode konvensional.Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimen dengan desain One-Shot Case Study. Subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS berjumlah 21 orang, ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes dan angket, sementara cara pengumpulan data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear sederhana, serta uji hipotesis.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa PBL berbasis Question Card berpengaruh signifikan baik terhadap berpikir kritis maupun hasil belajar. Skor peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 0,900 poin (t-hitung 7,649 > t- tabel 1,990) dan hasil belajar meningkat 0,904 poin (t-hitung 4,572 > t-tabel 1,990). Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan kontribusi sebesar 75,5% pada keterampilan berpikir kritis dan 52,4% pada hasil belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PBL dengan Question Card efektif dalam melatih analisis, argumentasi, serta pemecahan masalah siswa
