Abstract

The increasing use of social media in Indonesia opens up opportunities for entrepreneurs especially in the health sector on COVID-19 pandemic era. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for online health services has soared. According to data from the Global Web Index (GWI) social media users in Indonesia in 2022 increased by 12.6% in the past year. The number of rivalries between health facilities is getting tougher, so a specific strategy is needed in marketing techniques in the field of health services in Indonesia. Market price competition is also one of the problems in the business sector. In this study, 163 samples collected had purchased health care products on the MySiloam application belonging to Siloam Hospital Group. The sample was obtained by purposive sampling method and then the data was processed using the PLS-SEM analysis method with the SmartPLS ver 3.2.9 application. The results obtained from data processing, there are several hypotheses that do not show a relationship between research variables, but social media marketing activities (SMMA) have the strongest influence on epistemic value which then increases healthcare apps purchase intention. Suggestions for further research should be done with a wider number of samples and tighten the criteria for respondents so that the data obtained is more significant and accurate.

Abstract

Utilization of health services by pregnant and postpartum women can save women from the incidence of maternal death and severe complications during pregnancy and postpartum. Several factors that directly contribute to the utilization of health services are decision making and sources of information obtained by pregnant and postpartum women regarding the utilization of health services. This study aims to analyze gender equality in decision making on the use of health services in urban and rural areas of Indonesia. This study used a mixed-method approach from primary data and a literature review. The target in this article was pregnant women and postpartum mothers who were spread out in several health centers in Surabaya City and Bojonegoro Regency with a total of 175 respondents who were calculated using the proportion estimation formula. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the wife in terms of the number of frequencies dominated in making decisions on the use of health services (92.5%). In addition, when the decision maker is the husband, all postpartum mothers (100%) will take advantage of health services. Related to the source of information that many respondents chose in providing information related to pregnancy health for the use of health services, it was health workers (86.3%) compared to other media. The wife's decision is a determinant in making decisions about the use of health services. On the other hand, husband’s support as a decision maker can also influence his wife to take advantage of health services.

Based on a survey by the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2012, 48 out of 1,000 pregnancies occurred in adolescents aged 15-19 years. The occurrence of pregnancy at a young age & sexually transmitted diseases are the impact of having sex before marriage in adolescents. This study aims to determine the relationship between several factors with the practice of having sex for the first time and the age at first having sexual intercourse in young women in North Sumatra. The type of research used is explanatory research with a cross sectional study design. Research sampling is based on the research population, which means that all populations are samples. The sample obtained is 643 young women aged 15-24 years. The data used in this study is secondary data from the 2017 IDHS. Abstract

According to the 2018 Riskesdas data, hypertension is a non-communicable disease with a significant increase in trend. Considering this case, hypertension has an urgency to be treated because it is a risk factor for the highest cause of death and disability according to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation 2019. In this case Prolanis can be used as an alternative treatment for hypertension because it meets the criteria for the benefits of non-pharmacological therapy. We chose Puskesmas Playen II in Gunungkidul Regency as our research site because the coverage of providing hypertension services through Prolanis is still low, considering from the secondary data from the Gunungkidul Regency Health Office in 2020 where the percentage of hypertension services at the Puskesmas Playen II was only 0.3%, far below the 29 other puskesmas in Gunungkidul Regency. Hence, the study aimed to evaluate Prolanis' achievements in hypertension in Puskesmas Playen II using the Chain of Events evaluation theory. This research is qualitative with an evaluation study design. There were 15 informants as research subjects selected by purposive sampling. Prolanis' achievements in hypertension at Puskesmas Playen II have not reached the minimum target of 5% based on BPJS Kesehatan Regulation Number 7 of 2019, because the number of Prolanis-registered hypertensive patients is increasing but not matched with the increasing number of controlled hypertension sufferers. The Prolanis component also influences its unattainable achievement in follow-up treatment, so it is necessary to conduct routine monitoring of Prolanis participants’ lifestyles.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the structure and working methods of nurses to become more complex, dynamic and challenging. Nurses as the frontline are required to more quickly adapt to changes in the work environment. Proactive work behavior by giving assignments, relationships and work perceptions of nurses is the implementation of Job Crafting (JC). This study aims to compare how JC nurses are between 3 types of hospital ownership that provide Covid-19 services. This study involved 250 nurses in teaching hospitals, private hospitals and government hospitals in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Compare Means and Linearity Test of Anova. The results showed that the highest scores were for Task Crafting (17.47), Cognitive Crafting (21.73) and Relational Crafting (18.44) in Government Hospitals. The lowest scores were for Task Crafting (17.16) at private hospitals, Cognitive Crafting (20.57) at teaching hospitals, and Relational Crafting (17.57) at private hospitals. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that job crafting is more dominantly felt by nurses in government hospitals. In addition, of the three variables that have been tested, cognitive crafting has a stronger relationship effect than the other variables.  Keywords: Job crafting, Nurse, Pandemic, Hospital
