Abstract

The high mortality and morbidity rate of Covid-19 in Indonesia is still a major health problem that must be resolved immediately. Health workers are officers who are at the forefront of handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia where the role of health workers is needed to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 events. However, based on data on the number of health workers confirmed for Covid-19, the number is quite high. As of July 1, 2020, health workers at one of the Hospital in Central Java who were confirmed positive for Covid-19 reached 142 people, by the end of year 2021 there were 1617 of health worker infected Covid-19. The purpose of this study was to find out what factors influence the incidence of Covid-19 in health workers in one of the hospital in Central Java.This research is a correlational quantitative study with a case control approach. Research respondents amounted to 70 people in the case group and 70 people in the control group according to the specified criteria which were selected by simple random sampling method. Data was collected by means of questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was performed using chi square and qualitative analysis.The results showed that knowledge (p=0,230), attitude (p=0,237), work environment behavior (1.00), living environment behavior (0.306), policy (1.00), work pattern (p=0.237), PPE (0.443), Sanitation (p=0.375), physical condition of the work environment (p=0.277) and physical condition of the living environment (p=1.00) were not related to the incidence of Covid-19 in health workers at this Hospital. Based on the qualitative analysis, information was obtained that health workers were exposed to Covid-19 at Hospital because of the living environment such as exposure from household assistants and drivers. Abstrak :Tingginya angka mortalitas dan morbiditas Covid-19 di Indonesia masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan besar yang harus segera diselesaikan. Tenaga kesehatan merupakan petugas yang berada pada garda terdepan dalam penanganan kejadian pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia dimana peran tenaga kesehatan sangat dibutuhkan untuk memutus rantai penularan kejadian Covid-19. Namun, berdasarkan data jumlah tenaga kesehatan yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19 menunjukkan angka yang cukup tinggi sampai dengan 1 Juli 2020 tenaga kesehatan di salah satu rumah sakit di Jawa Tengah yang terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 mencapai 142 orang, sedangkan pada akhir tahun 2021 jumlah tenaga kesehatan yang terinfeksi Covid-19 sebanyak 1617. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah megetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kejadian Covid-19 pada tenaga kesehatan di salah satu rumah sakit di Jawa Tengah.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan case control. Responden penelitian berjumlah 70 orang pada kelompok kasus dan 70 orang pada kelompok kontrol sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan yang dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan chi square dan analisis kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel pengetahuan (p=0,230), sikap (p=0,237), perilaku lingkungan kerja (1,00), perilaku lingkungan tempat tinggal (0,306), Kebijakan (1,00), Pola kerja (p=0,237), APD (0,443), Sanitasi(p=0,375), Kondisi fisik lingkungan kerja (p=0,277) dan kondisi fisik lingkungan tempat tinggal (p=1,00) tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian Covid-19 pada tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit ini. Berdasarkan analisis kualitatif didapatkan informasi bahwa tenaga kesehatan yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19 di rumah sakit karena lingkungan tempat tinggal seperti paparan dari asisten rumah tangga dan supir.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe form of excellent service quality is often discussed in previous studies, including through indicators; tangibles, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and reliability. In this study, the service quality variable used is different from previous studies, namely using the Kennedy & Young theory, which uses indicators; availability, responsiveness, convenience and on time. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of patient perceptions of service quality on outpatient satisfaction of the nuclear medicine unit at the radiology installation of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang. This type of research is observational with a quantitative approach, namely research that intends to test hypotheses. The research analysis unit is an outpatient who comes to get services from the nuclear medicine unit at the radiology installation of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang in February 2022, as many as 314 patients, a sample size of 86 respondents was taken through simple random sampling.The results show that: the service quality variable affects the overall satisfaction variable, with an R2 value of 0.389. The service quality variable has an effect on the expectation variable with an R2 value of 0.456. The service quality variable affects the experience variable with an R2 value of 0.454. The conclusion of this study is that the service quality variable has a positive effect on patient satisfaction in the Outpatient Nuclear Medicine Unit, Radiology Installation, Dr. Kariadi Semarang.

Abstract

Discharge planning is an important and crucial process in patient’s service transition. Well planned discharge planning will increase patient’s flow. At Dr Kariadi Central General Hospital, according to the evaluation of the patient's discharge in September 2021, it was found that only 13% of patients had planned discharges. A qualitative study was conducted from January to March 2022. This study aims to know the implementation of the day before discharge program at Dr. Kariadi Central General Hospital. The subject was patient from 1st and 2nd class inpatient installation and 3rd class inpatient unit - stroke unit of Dr. Kariadi Central General Hospital Semarang. Data were obtained from in-depth interviews with all elements involved in planning the day before discharge, observation, and document review. Based on the result of our study, implementation of one day before discharge plan at Dr. Kariadi Central General Hospital Semarang has been unconsistantly increased (to 77,73% on February 2022, 76,45% on march 2022, and 77,69% on April 2022), even though it has not achieved the expected goal yet (more or equal to 80%), several factors influenced the implementation of patient discharge process, such as regulations, doctors and assistants (regarding doctor’s visite schedule), patient and family, and communication between doctor, nurse, other medical staff, and patient. Our study concluded that one day before discharge plan at Dr. Kariadi Central General Hospital Semarang  can be improved.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The implementation of the new normal is of course with the implementation of strict health protocols, including in the area of educational institutions.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and compliance in the implementation of health protocols, especially in the education area.This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 283 respondents consisting of teachers, staff, and students.The results of the chi-square test with a level of significance = 0.05 obtained p-value (α) = 0.026 < from value = 0.05 so that it shows that there is a relationship between knowledge and the level of compliance of students and teachers in implementing the covid 19 health protocol.Students and teachers SMA in Noemuti Sub-district have a good perception of behavior and attitudes in carrying out the implementation of the covid 19 health protocol. Compliance with the covid 19 health protocol is carried out well because they know the benefits and risks obtained and are supported by adequate knowledge.

Abstract

Work-Family-Conflict is a conflict that usually occurs in the female nursing profession, especially for those who are married, this is caused by a mismatch between role pressures from work and family so that it can affect their performance and organizational commitment. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of work-family conflict on the performance and organizational commitment of female nurses in Soedirman General Hospital at Kebumen City.The sample of this research is female nurses with married status who work in Soedirman General Hospital at Kebumen City with a total of 41 people. This study uses primary and secondary data sources as well as a quantitative research approach with the technique of determining the sample using purposive sampling and collecting sample data using a questionnaire. The method of analysis used descriptive analysis and associative analysis. Based on this study, it was found that work-family conflict had a negative and significant effect on the performance of female nurses and work-family conflict had an insignificant effect on the organizational commitment of female nurses in Soedirman General Hospital at Kebumen City.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan anggaran masih memerlukan penjabaran lebih lanjut. Pengelolaan keuangan BLU memerlukan pengelolaan anggaran yang efektif dan efisien, sehingga melahirkan good governance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam perencanaan penganggaran terhadap kinerja keuangan di RSUP Dr. Kariadi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi kualitatif studi kasus di RSUP Dr. Kariadi, memotret dan menganalisis pelaksanaan anggaran dengan prinsip ekonomi pada efektivitas dan efisiensi terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan informan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari data keuangan, anggaran dan penelitian kepustakaan. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari lima informan yaitu Direktur Utama, Direktur Keuangan dan Barang Milik Negara, Koordinator Penyusunan dan Evaluasi Anggaran, Koordinator Perencanaan dan Evaluasi, dan Kepala Satuan Pemeriksaan Internal. Data penelitian merupakan hasil pengamatan di lapangan, melalui wawancara dan penyajian data secara ilmiah yaitu berupa laporan realisasi anggaran  dan laporan keuangan RSUP Dr. Kariadi. Perencanaan penganggaran BLU sudah terlaksana cukup optimal, transparansi cukup terbuka dan akuntabilitas program kegiatan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Pelaksanaan anggaran dengan prinsip efektivitas dan efisiensi di RSUP Dr. Kariadi telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, namun dari sisi fleksibilitas pengelolaan keuangan masih belum optimal. Kinerja keuangan berdasarkan efektivitas dan efisiensi perencanaan anggaran BLU berdampak pada pendapatan operasional dan biaya operasional rumah sakit. Efektivitas dan efisiensi memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap kinerja keuangan di RSUP Dr. Kariadi, baik pengaruh positif maupun negatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperlukan sosialisasi kepada semua unit kerja untuk penerapan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam menyusun program kegiatan operasional rumah sakit.

Abstract

Hospitals are complex, expert and capital intensive health care institutions. During the Covid-19 pandemic, many cases of health workers infected with Covid-19 were described by data on the death rates of health workers in various countries. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for nurses is very influential because it can prevent exposure to infectious diseases. the risk of contracting the disease in nurses will increase.The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to compliance with the use of PPE for dental workers in hospitals during the pandemic.This is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The target population in this study were all 65 medical personnel at RSIGM Sultan Agung Semarang. The sampling technique used in the study was the total population.The results showed that the information provided, leadership and perceived benefits will have a positive effect on dentist compliance in the use of PPE, while imbalance, and the environment have no positive effect on dentist compliance in the use of  PPE. Information provided, imbalance, leadership, environment and perceived benefits together have a relationship with dentist compliance in using personal protective equipment.Doctors and dental nurses need to maintain their mindset that they will feel happy if the patient and himself are protected from the Covid-19 virus. It is necessary to know that the use of PPE does not hamper the services provided because PPE is only an additional tool for personal and patient protection against the Covid-19 virus.

Abstract

On March 12, 2020, WHO (World Health Organization) officially declared the COVID-19 as a pandemic with the spread of SARS-CoV-2 globally and caused thousands of deaths. The wide and very fast spread of COVID-19 and reports of its spread to health workers, dental professionals are at high risk of nosocomial infections and can be potential carriers of the disease. This study aims to analyze dental management carried out in various countries in the COVID-19 era. This study uses a simplified approach systematic review method. A total of 101 articles were found in the initial search. Based on the selection of article searches resulted in 11 articles consisting articles from international journals. The study resulted in the management of dentistry in the COVID-19 era being divided into four parts, namely online patient triage, in-office patient triage and clinics preparation, treatment management, and post-treatment management. This management had not been carried out before COVID-19, but with COVID-19 still going, having a safe dental management can be a useful lesson for dental professionals or hospital managers for future epidemics or pandemics.

Abstract

Telemedicine users have increased during the Covid-19 pandemic. Telemedicine can provide alternative solutions to improving quality, and access, and reducing disparities in health services, especially in urban and remote areas. However, in the era of national health insurance, not all telemedicine is covered by Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan). This study aims to determine user expectations of telemedicine financing in the national health insurance era. This research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach which was conducted in February-April 2022. The respondents were 102 people who had used telemedicine services in Indonesia that were selected through the quota sampling method. The results showed that 95.1% of respondents agreed that telemedicine services were covered by the National Health Insurance (NHI), either fully or by sharing costs. As many as 31.95% of respondents expect 25% of cost-sharing with NHI, 35.05% of respondents expect 50% of cost-sharing with NHI, 12.37% of respondents expect 80% of cost-sharing with NHI, and 20.63 % hope 100% will be covered by NHI. Further and specific regulation related to telemedicine is needed. The type of telemedicine service covered communication with the telemedicine service provider, and the amount of the service fee covered needs to be communicated between the relevant parties

Abstract

The government in providing public services to the community is required to be effective and efficient, therefore it is continuously expected to be able to innovate services in a better direction to improve quality. Service quality is an important thing that determines public trust in public services to be able to realize community participation by increasing knowledge, trust and developing community habits regarding the concept of healthy behavior in adopting new habits and closer government relations with the community. This study aims to determine the description of public service innovations in Denpasar City in increasing public confidence to behave healthily in adapting to new habits, especially in the community in Denpasar City. Data analysis in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) with a sample of 200 respondents who accessed the measured SIK-KBS. The results of the SIK-KBS public service innovation assessment show that the Bali Provincial Government has a positive assessment with a score of 75.3 and is in the BB (innovative) public service innovation qualification level. Based on this value, it is known that the SIK-KBS public service innovation that has been carried out in Denpasar City in improving information access services has been innovative and able to increase public confidence in healthy behavior which has a significant positive effect as seen from the t-statistic value > 1.96.
