Abstract

Background: One dimension of health care is characterized by patient waiting time. Waiting Time is a component that has the potential to cause satisfaction. Based on the results of preliminary studies that have been conducted at William Booth Hospital in Semarang related to patient waiting time and patient satisfaction is still not optimal.Methods: This research is a survey study using quantitative cross-sectional nature, on the participation of BPJS outpatients in the Eye Clinic. Sampling using a random sampling technique with a total sample of 95 people. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and mutivariate analyzes.Results: The results showed the level of satisfaction of BPJS patients was 72.6%, cognitive aspects (p-value 0.001) with an OR value = 9.605, and affection aspects (p-value 0.002) with an OR value = 8.038.Conclusion: There is a significant difference between cognitive aspects and affection aspects with patient satisfaction. Cognitive aspects became the most dominant variable affecting patient satisfaction.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease. A global pandemic or epidemic indicates a COVID-19 infection that is so fast that almost no country or region in the world is absent from this dangerous virus. COVID-19 prevention practices need to be carried out to prevent the spread of the virus from becoming more widespread, especially for students as the nation's next generation who are expected to provide a good example for the surrounding environment. This study aims to describe the description of COVID-19 prevention practices in students at three universities in the city of Semarang. This research is a descriptive study using a cross sectional approach with a population of active undergraduate students from three universities in the city of Semarang. The sample size in this study were 390 respondents. The sampling technique used is quota sampling. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed online via social media. The results showed that the proportion of students with good COVID-19 prevention practices were female students (66.6%), students with health field of study (78.4%), and students with a good level of knowledge (69.5%). Respondents' prevention practices are good, but there are still many respondents who don’t understand about the  importance  of  COVID-19 prevention practices.  Therefore,  it  is  necessary  to  increase  the  respondent's knowledge regarding the COVID-19 prevention practices.

Abstract

In 2017 the number of complete basic immunization coverage in Indonesia had not yet reached the national standard coverage and for complete basic immunization coverage of infants in high-risk areas also tends to below. This study aimed to analyze the complete basic immunization coverage of infants in high-risk areas in Brebes Regency in 2019 by analyzing secondary data from research on infants' basic immunization coverage in high-risk areas of Brebes Regency. The research design used was cross-sectional. The population was mothers who have children aged < 2 years who lived in a high-risk area in Brebes Regency in 2019. The results were analyzed using a chi-square test. The study results showed that there were still many infants who did not get complete basic immunization, and the accuracy of basic immunization for infants was still low. Factors that affect the completeness of the complete basic immunization of infants are knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, and beliefs of the mother.

Abstract

In the last few years, work accidents in the construction sector have increased. Work accidents can hinder and cause harm to the company and related parties. The aim of this paper is to identify variables related to work accidents in the construction sector based on previous studies. The method used in this research was a literature review study. The literatures were conducted online through several websites or internet sites such as Scopus, Sciencedirect, ProQuest, EBSCOhost, Google Scholar, and SINTA. This research was conducted on 20 articles consisting of 6 national articles and 14 international articles. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of workers which consist of age, education level, and years of service have a significant relationship with work accidents. From all research, articles obtained related to work shift variables, sleep quality, and work fatigue have a significant relationship with work accidents.

Abstract

Coal operations can produce dust. Coal dust that can be solved by breathing in workers. The results of observations of loading and unloading activities, coal transport trucks causing dust to fly. Dusty work areas can be seen from the surrounding plants blackened, as well as the worker’s limbs due to coal dust attached. The results of measurement of air quality in the work environment are known to be below the NAV in accordance with Permenakertrans No. 5 of 2018. The purpose of this study was to discuss the relationship of coal dust exposure with subjective complaints of respiratory disorders at coal stockpile workers. This study was an observational study with a cross sectional design with a total sample of 36 workers. Data collection by measuring PM 2.5 in ambient  with EPAM 5000 Haz-Dust, measurement of respirable dust levels with Personal Dust Sampler (PDS), Knowing nutritional status through body mass index (BMI) and worker data and subjective complaint respiratory disorders with the questionnaire. Univariate data analysis and bivariate with the chi-square test. The results showed that 83.3% of workers with respirable coal dust exposure were higher than the threshold value (NAV) and 63.9% of workers who discussed subjectively breathing problems. The conclusion from this study there is relationship between the use of PPE (mask) obtained p-value = 0.006 and smoking habits (p = 0.005) with subjective complaint of respiratory disorders on workers in the coal stockpile.

Abstract

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a lifelong autoimmune disease with varied manifestations. Patients with SLE can have a certain impact because of the theraphy and the disease itself, both physically and psychologically, one of the psychologically impact is stress. The study aims to determine the description of stress levels in SLE patients who came to examine themselves at Central General Hospital in Semarang City. This study used a cross sectional study design. The sample size in this study were 136 respondents. The measuring tool used is a questionnaire of Depression Anxiety Stress Scale consisting of 14 questions. The results of the research that have been conducted show that most of the patient experience stress with normal level. Researchers provide suggestions for further researchers to use questionnaire of Depression Anxiety Stress Scale that have been modified in each questions.

Abstract

Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei. In the world, the prevalence of scabies is estimated to be more than 200 million people every year. In Indonesia, scabies ranks 3 of the 12 most common skin diseases. Islamic boarding school students are at risk of contracting scabies. Personal hygiene generally gets less attention from the students. Low personal hygiene is a factor in the development of scabies. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between personal hygiene and scabies incident. This study conducted using quantitative observational study methods with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 107 Islamic boarding school students. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. This study uses a questionnaire to determine the variables studied. Data would be analyzed using a chi-square test. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between the cleanliness of clothes (p-value= 0.001). There was no relationship between Cleanliness of skin (p-value=0,857), cleanliness of hand and nail (p-value=0,498), cleanliness of towel (p-value=0,699), cleanliness of bedding (p-value (p-value= 0,966).
