Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a mobile learning application using Android-based Adobe Flash Professional CS6 on mechanical wave characteristics material for class -characteristics of mechanical waves for class XI high school. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. This model involves the stages of analysis, design, develop, implementation and evaluation. The instruments used were a material and media expert validation questionnaire conducted by a team of experts as well as a student perception questionnaire which was tested in one of the XI high school classes. The data analysis technique in the form of suggestions by the validator is carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. Meanwhile, validation questionnaire scores and student perception questionnaires were carried out using descriptive statistics. The mobile learning application developed has .apk and .swf formats which can be run on Android smartphones and PC/laptops. The score resulting from students' perceptions of mobile learning applications is 50.35 and is categorized as very good.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the final product of a professional 3D Pageflip-based electronic module on radioactivity and nuclear reactions in the Atomic and Nuclear Physics course. This research is research and development research with a 4D development model. The stages in the 4D model development model are define, design, development, and disseminate. The research instruments used were observation, document review, student needs questionnaire, media expert validation questionnaire, and material expert validation questionnaire. Then the resulting data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The resulting product has specifications including the final format of the program is exe, the program is equipped with colors, images, animation and video using Times New Romans font type, the module consists of an introductory, learning and closing section which includes material namely radioactivity and nuclear reactions and the level of media users, namely universities. The advantages of the electronic module include the language used which is easy to understand, the videos displayed are in 3D format, there is a separate answer sheet for answering practice questions and conclusions. Can be used remotely, students can see the scores obtained from the final test and can be used directly without having to have the application.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce science worksheets based on multiple intelligences on temperature and its changes, then to find out students' responses to science worksheets based on multiple intelligences. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method and uses the Borg and Gall development model. The test subjects in this research were students at SMPN 1 Jambi City. The instruments used in this research were an expert team validation questionnaire and a student perception questionnaire. The data analysis technique for the expert team's validation questionnaire carried out a structured assessment, while for validator suggestions used qualitative descriptions. The data analysis technique for student questionnaires is carried out using a rating scale which is then interpreted in a qualitative sense. From the research results, the results of the student perception questionnaire regarding the worksheets that had been tested were an average of 82% which could be categorized as "very good". Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Science Worksheet Based on Multiple Intelligences on temperature and its changes in class VII is very good to use as supporting teaching material for teachers and students in the integrated science learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a worksheet based on science process skills on wave material and determine student perceptions of the worksheet developed. This type of research is development research with a 4D development model including define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The test subjects for this research were physics education students who took basic physics II courses. The instruments used were expert validation questionnaires and student perception questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in the form of validation questionnaire scores and student perception questionnaires were carried out using descriptive statistics. Meanwhile, data analysis resulting from document review during initial observations and validator suggestions was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The result of this research is a worksheet based on science process skills on wave material. The specifications contained in this worksheet are that the worksheet is designed with an attractive cover appearance and is equipped with appropriate images. The reliability of the student perception questionnaire is in the good category. Results of analysis of student perceptions on aspects of worksheet cover design, worksheet content design, presentation components, Science Process Skills aspects and linguistic components. From these four aspects, it was found that the results of students' perceptions of the Worksheet Based on Science Process Skills in Wave Material were very good.

Abstract

Media in the teaching and learning process tends to be defined as graphic, photographic or electronic tools for capturing, processing and reconstructing visual or verbal information. This research aims to (1) develop physics learning videos using Camtasia studio8 vector material software for class X Senior high school. This research is motivated by the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the world of education to assist the teaching and learning process. One of the uses of ICT is the development of learning videos using Camtasia studio8 software. The steps in this research and development using the ADDIE model include: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) and Development. But the implementation stage was not carried out because it was only a product trial. Learning video materials as physics learning media that have been completed are then validated by a team of media experts and a team of material experts. The result of this development is in the form of vector material physics learning video media. This media was declared suitable for use after being validated twice by media expert validators and material experts.

Abstract

This type of research is (research and development) with the ADDIE development model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this research were 2016 PGMIPA-U Physics Education students at Jambi University. The research instruments used were media expert validation questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires and student perception questionnaires. The qualitative data analysis technique is carried out using descriptive analysis, while quantitative data is carried out using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the questionnaire trial showed that there were 16 valid statements and one invalid statement. The reliability value obtained was 0.898 in the very high category. Furthermore, the results of student perception research obtained data covering 3 aspects, namely the object aspect 19.49 in the good category, for the sensory aspect it was 19.21 in the good category, while for the attention aspect it was 13.7 in the very good category. The average score for all student perception indicators is 52.61 in the very good category. Based on the results obtained in the research, it can be concluded that the development of the Basic Physics I e-module on particle dynamics based on Kvisoft flipbook maker is very suitable for use as a teaching material in the Basic Physics I particle dynamics course at Jambi University.

Abstract

This research aims to develop scientific-based interactive science learning media with Lectora Inspire material on pressure of substances and its application and determine the perceptions of class VIII students at SMPN 11 Muaro Jambi towards the learning media developed. The test subjects in this research were class VIII students at SMPN 11 Muaro Jambi. The qualitative data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the research are in the form of scientific-based interactive science learning media with Lectora Inspire material on pressure of substances and its application for junior high school students. The final media product is in audio visual form in .exe format. This media contains material with text displays, images, animations, simulations and videos. This learning media is scientific-based so that every time the material is delivered it uses scientific learning steps. The advantage of this media is that how to operate this media is quite easy and simple. This media is classified as interactive because there is a reciprocal relationship between the user and the media and can be used offline. Obtaining expert assessments and student perceptions shows that this product is worthy of development.

Abstract

The availability of adequate teaching materials can make it easier for students to study independently and overcome problems that often occur in classroom learning. This research aims to determine students' perceptions of Electronic Modules based on a Scientific Approach using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Software on Static Electricity Material for the Basic Physics 1 course which has been developed. The research design used is Research and Development (R & D). This research is only limited to the research and development stage. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Study Program, FKIP, Jambi University in March 2018. This research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to the 2015 Physics Education students of the PGMIPAU class. The research results show that the Electronic Module based on a scientific approach that has been developed has met the feasibility criteria very well in terms of 3 aspects, namely the module appearance aspect, the module presentation aspect, and the module benefits aspect with an average score of 5.68 respectively; 4.87 and 13.45. The average score for all student perception indicators is 49.95 in the very good category.

This research aims to produce a Basic Physics I e-module on particle dynamics and to determine student perceptions of the Basic Physics I e-module on particle dynamics that was developed. Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the implementation of the Catholic Marriage Preparation Course at St. Teresia Jambi. With a focus on in-depth understanding, the research aims to identify and resolve the fundamental problems faced by course organizers. The research subjects consisted of a group of companions and participants in the Catholic marriage preparation course at St.Teresia Jambi. Data was collected through direct interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research show that there is an urgent need for increased understanding and deepening of the teachings of the Catholic Church related to marriage preparation and formation at St. Mary's Parish. Teresia Jambi. Apart from that, the research results also reveal that the application of Catholic marriage principles which are in line with Church teachings can strengthen family ties and improve the spiritual well-being of the people. The novelty of this research lies in the qualitative approach used to gain an in-depth understanding of the problems of Catholic marriage preparation courses. It is hoped that the implications of this research will provide valuable input for course organizers in improving the quality and effectiveness of Catholic marriage preparation courses at St. Mary's Parish. Mary. Teresia Jambi.
