Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding variations in substrate concentration and the effect of variations in the surface area of the electrodes (anode and cathode) on the power density, resulting in a maximum power density value for a period of 13 days. measurement. The first step is measuring voltage and current with substrate concentration without dilution process, then variation of concentration is carried out with 10 times, 8 times, 5 times, 4 times, and 2 times dilutions on ceramics with a diameter of 8 cm. . The second step is to measure the voltage and current by varying the surface area of the electrodes (cathode and anode). The measurement results showed that the maximum power density value obtained was 188.23 mW/m2 without a dilution process, namely with a concentration of 3640 ppm for the 3rd day. While the results of the measurement of the variation of the electrode surface area obtained a maximum power density value of 205.88 mW/m2 on the electrode surface area of 3.57 m2 for the third day. The more surface area of the electrode given at the time of measurement, the more bacteria that are in contact with the electrode, causing the value of the resulting power density to be greater. Keywords: waste tofu, microbial fuel cell (MFC), power density, electrode, ceramic

Abstract

The high rate of conversion of agricultural land is not balanced with the availability of agricultural land being cultivated. The area of agricultural land is estimated to be around 5.1 million ha in 2045. This study discusses the effect of land value on the process of conversion of agricultural land that occurred in 31 sub-districts in East Java Province, Indonesia. The research method used in this study uses land cover spatial data analysis to see the distribution of land change in 31 areas that are processed using Qgis and multiple linear regression analysis to see the level of relationship between the independent and dependent variables of the study, namely land change, land value, productivity, income, and location. The results showed that during 2014 – 2018 in East Java Province there was a land change of 182.28 ha/year. The biggest changes occurred in urban areas as the basis of the regional economy. The relationship between land value variables has a positive effect on the conversion of agricultural land, which means that the greater the value of the land, the faster the process of conversion of agricultural land will be..

Abstract

Disasters are natural events that disrupt and threaten human life. The eruption of Mount Semeru in December 2021 was one of the natural disasters that caused tremendous damage. Children and adolescents are more vulnerable to psychological manifestations related to disasters. Handling of children's trauma needs to be done because children do not have the capacity to look after and care for themselves. The behavior of children who were victims of the eruption of Mount Semeru before intervention tended to show a passive and restless attitude. Art therapy is an effective intervention to increase self-esteem. The forms of art therapy given to children affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru are drawing, group storytelling, making crafts, and writing and reading poetry. The methods used in trauma healing with art therapy are mentoring and training. As a result of art therapy activities, children are able to express what they feel during a disaster and are able to convey hope in the future. Abstract

The yard can provide great benefits for the community, because it can be planted with vegetables, fruits and spices such as turmeric, lemongrass, etc. The yard can also be used as a source of animal protein and an additional source of family income. Quail farming is an alternative for producing eggs which is quite productive in addition to laying hens and ducks. The advantages of quail cultivation are having a small body size and weighing about 130 grams, a short life cycle, high egg productivity (in the peak period of daily egg production it can produce about 90% of the total population in the cage), low feed intake (about 20 grams/quail/day), easy to cultivate and does not require a high investment. Quail can give results in the form of daily egg production and/or meat from rejected quail (quail that have stopped laying eggs or egg productivity that begins to decline after about 8 months of age). Quail cultivation from the yard of the house can be used to maintain approximately 25 quails. Based on these advantages, quail cultivation in the yard can provide family income and increase nutrition. Keywords: quail, yard, nutritional, income

Abstract

The provision of district infrastructure requires detailed planning in preparing programs and budgets to encourage the equitable distribution of human settlement infrastructure development. The government has issued guidelines for preparing the RPIJM to harmonize the development plan, spatial plan, and Strategic Development Area plan. However, many problems must be resolved and are not proportional to the APBD/APBN revenues; therefore, it is necessary to formulate an appropriate RPIJM to support sustainable development. In this study, the RPIJM preparation refers to (i) policy directions and infrastructure strategic plans as well as the region's existing conditions analysis; and (ii) the design of infrastructure development. The RPIJM preparation must be carried out prudently because it involves a large budget, program of the community essential activities in solving existing problems and in sustainable development, synchronized infrastructure development for local and national governments, and the risk of failure in the management of its implementation. The results of the RPIJM are a proposed plan for the financing of the human settlements development sector, which includes: (i) Residential Area Development; (ii) Building and Environmental Management; (iii) Development of Drinking Water Supply Systems; and (iv) development of residential environmental sanitation. Recommendations of the RPIJM are compiled in the memorandum of the medium term program in human settlements, which outlines scenarios for district development in the publoc work-human settlements sector, proposals for investment based on needs, achievement targets by regional development goals and objectives, mechanisms of funding, handling priority, and investment program implementation. Keywords: RPIJM, sustainable development, development program, development funding

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the relationship between Internal Auditor Performance. The variables of the internal auditor's performance consist of Organizational Culture, Independence and Professional Ethics. Based on previous research, there is a Research Gap in the results of the research provided so that researchers are interested in re-testing by including the professionalism variable. The novelty of this study from previous researchers lies in the use of a variable, namely professionalism that affects the performance of BPKP auditors. This research was conducted using a survey method through a questionnaire. Sampling in this study using random sampling method. The sample in this study used as respondents were all BPKP auditors from functional positions as implementing auditors, advanced implementing auditors, supervisory auditors, junior auditors, first auditors, middle auditors, middle auditors, main auditors and middle auditors as supervisory coordinators, totaling approximately 100 respondents. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicates that independence has an effect on BPKP Auditor Performance. The relationship shown by the regression coefficient is positive, meaning that the higher the independence, the higher the performance of the BPKP Auditor will be. Auditor Professionalism has no effect on BPKP Auditor Performance, meaning that the level of auditor professionalism will not affect BPKP auditor performance. Organizational Culture has no effect on the Performance of BPKP Auditors, meaning that the good or bad of Organizational Culture will not affect the performance of the auditors. Abstract

Based on the Kalibaru Kulon Health Center dataset, which was reported in January-September 2021, there were 193 plantation workers who visited the Puskesmas and experienced an illness. The results of the observations show that members of the UKK Malangsari Post who are coffee plantation workers are not fully disciplined in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working so they are vulnerable to hazards in the workplace which in turn can cause health problems and even work accidents. This is caused by a lack of understanding of the function of PPE. The problem-solving framework in this activity is realized by increasing knowledge and understanding of the function of using PPE in the workplace. Implementation activities are carried out by promoting health with hybrid counseling techniques (offline and online) and making health promotion media in the form of leaflets and videos by involving local coffee plantation workers. The conclusion of this activity as a whole this community service activity can be said to be successful because of an increase in the knowledge of the target audience about the importance of using PPE at work and an increase in the positive attitude of the target audience towards the importance of using PPE in the workplace. . It is recommended that similar activities be carried out using attractive health promotion media not only by local UKK POS officers but also by companies that employ coffee workers in the Malangsari area.
