Abstract

Panoramic radiography was one of radiographic examinations in dental practice due to several advantages, which one was for orthodontic treatment. The use of X-ray radiation has biological effects that caused cell death (necrosis or apoptosis). Examination the number of leukocytes can be used as an indicator to determine the responsiveness of white blood cells in preventing the presence of disease and inflammation agents. This research aims to determine the number of leukocytes after low-dose X-ray radiation exposure in male wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). The methods used experimental laboratory research methods with post test only control group design. A sample of 20 wistar rats were divided into 5 groups: 1 control group and 4 treatment groups that were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The selected sample was then taken a blood sample before and after low-dose X-ray radiation exposure. Data from the study were conducted parametric statistical tests of One Way Annova and LSD. Radiation exposure used panoramic radiography units under the brand F1-04300 TUUSULA with exposure time 14.1 seconds, and a dose of 10.6 mGy. Examination of the number of leukocytes used the manual method. Data were analyzed using the One Way Anova test with a significant level of α (0.05). Results: The results of the analysis showed that there were significant differences between the control group and the treatment group (α <0.05). Conclusion: There was a change in the number of leukocytes after low-dose X-ray radiation exposure.

Abstract

Marriage is an inner and outer bond between a man and a woman to form a happy and eternal family, which is legalized according to their respective religions and beliefs. The state regulates the minimum age limit for a man and a woman to get married, for men a minimum of 19 (nineteen) years and women at least 16 (sixteen) years. Although this has been regulated in the legislation, it does not prevent the practice of early marriage. Because on the one hand the state also provides opportunities for couples who want to get married early on condition that they must obtain parental dispensation which is then ratified by the local Religious Court. The rise of early marriage among students has an impact on schools, families and the environment. The purpose of this community service is to provide understanding and assistance for students in order to prevent the rise of early marriage among students of SMA Plus Al-Hasan. Abstract

This community service is entitled "Prevention and Handling of Domestic Violence from a Legal Perspective". In family life it is undeniable that conflict can occur in family relationships, conflict resolution should be resolved properly by realizing and understanding the feelings, personality and emotional control of each family member so that happiness in the family is realized. Healthy conflict resolution occurs when each family member does not prioritize personal interests, look for the root of the problem and make solutions that are mutually beneficial to family members through good and smooth communication. But on the other hand, conflicts that exist in the family, can happen badly so that it can lead to domestic violence (KDRT). This outreach activity was carried out using the problem inventory method, lectures, discussions and direct questions and answers with the participants. This activity was successful and has the potential to be followed up into a more concrete and contributive agenda. This community service was carried out on January 27, 2022 at the Head of the Muslimat Nahdahtul Ulama Branch of Karangpring Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. Abstract

The capital market longing as funding for companies and other institutions (e.g. the government) and for investing activities. The capital market provides a source of spending with a longer-term, which is invested in capital goods to create and multiply the means of production, creating markets and promoting healthy economic activity. The COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020 and its policies, such as the lockdown, have triggered a multidimensional global crisis in various fields, especially in the economic sector. Indonesia composite index or "IHSG" can be used to indicate the movement of the Indonesian stock market and stock-based investments, such as stock mutual funds. This research is included in normative juridical research. The authors use 2 (two) approaches, the statutory and conceptual approaches. There are 3 (three) problem formulations: first, Whether the Covid-19 pandemic has affected stock price movements in the capital market. Second, How the Covid-19 pandemic has affected stock price movements in the capital market. Third, How is the government's policy to anticipate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the movement of capital market stock prices. The authors find that the implications of covid-19 are reflected in decline in stock values but also increasing the digital transformation. From the government's perspective, with OJK, several stimulus policies have been issued that are able to maintain market stability and the "IHSG".Keywords: Investment, Capital Market, Covid-19.

Abstract

Indonesia is the 4th largest coffee-producing country in the world. One of the coffee producers in the Bondowoso area of East Java is Tanah Wulan Village. This village is located in the Argopuro Mountains Cluster, which produces coffee, especially Robusta coffee. In processing coffee cherries into coffee beans, the husk of the coffee cherries becomes the most significant waste from this process, reaching 40%-45%. However, the use of coffee husk waste is still limited as fertilizer and animal feed. So that there is a need for research to explore the potential of abundant coffee husk waste, one of which is about the antioxidant potential of robusta coffee husk produced in Tanah Wulan village. This study aimed to determine the percentage yield of robusta coffee husk extraction with ethyl acetate solvent and analyze its antioxidant activity. The robusta coffee husk extraction with ethyl acetate produces a dark green solid with a yield of 1.09%. From the analysis of antioxidants using DPPH, the IC50 was obtained at 96.5 mg/L with a strong category of antioxidants. However, the antioxidant activity of coffee husk extract is still much lower than the comparison compound for vitamin C, with an IC50 value of 3.68 mg/L (powerful category). So that, further research needs to be done to increase the antioxidant activity of coffee husk waste.

Abstract

The World Health Organization estimates that the Covid-19 Pandemic will end in 2022. However, this won’t be easy to realize if every country is unprepared to deal with the spread of Covid-19, considering that new variants of Covid-19 are starting to emerge. Therefore, applying health protocols and living a healthy life should not be reduced. Although the government has been intensively disseminating the Covid-19 vaccine and implementing health protocols, many Indonesians are still reluctant to comply. This Community Service activity was carried out in Karangrejo Village, RT 01/RW04, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. The results of the problem diagnosis found that residents still did not understand how to live healthy during a pandemic and apply the correct health protocol. There are three activities in this community service, namely ADUHAI Education, GETAS Education, and the distribution of educational posters, masks, and educational banners. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in participants' knowledge from 73.31% (pre-test) to 97.48% (post-test) in the ADUHAI Education program and from 79.92% (pre-test) to 92.72% (post-test) on the GETAS Education program. Furthermore, the community is expected to practice independently in implementing healthy living recommendations and sustainably obeying health protocols. Abstract

One in four people in the world needs a blood transfusion during their lifetime, but only 37% of the population qualify as donors, and only 10% donate blood regularly. The fact that more blood needs than donating blood makes UDD PMI challenging to meet demand when the existing bloodstock is insufficient or empty. And based on the results of research interviews with sources, there was a problem of increasing blood stocks that decreased in certain months, followed by a decrease in blood demand, which caused a reasonably high change in the following month. This caused blood demand could not be met due to reduced demand and supply but increased in the next month without sufficient stock increase. Based on the problems described above, researchers see the need to estimate the number of blood demand needs in the Jember PMI UDD with linear regression and Double Exponential Smoothing methods. With the forecasting and understanding of past time series models, it is possible to predict future values. From there, researchers want to minimize stakeholder decision-making errors and provide options to stakeholders concerning the minimum number of blood bags that need to be provided. In conclusion, the results of the prediction implementation predict data that is different from the data found in the field. The approximate accuracy is 60.32% and 46.96% for linear regression and double exponential smoothing. The worst absolute error value of the linear regression method is data 0 and 15 using actual data. The worst absolute error is the worst double exponential data 0 and 27.7. Abstract

The public awareness of environmental management and responsibility for production and consumption of food has increased, leading our collaborators in society to process food waste into organic fertilizer. Food waste management, especially kitchen waste, is a major focus in developing countries due to urban development and an equal attentiveness to environmental sustainability. Turning kitchen waste into organic fertilizer is a solution that is simple, cost-effective, eco-friendly and can be further enhanced by the addition of local microorganisms (MOL). However, the process of producing MOL-enhanced organic fertilizer is still not widely known. In this paper, the organic fertilizer was produced by the decomposition of kitchen waste enhanced by MOL. A non-MOL-enhanced fertilizer was also procured for control. Both of the obtained fertilizers were assessed for parameters such as pH, C:N ratio, and other organic content. The results proved that MOL-enhanced organic fertilizer is more effective than organic fertilizer made by natural decomposition alone.
